I have a high state of resentment for the conformity in this country. If you're not married and having children, it's like your life is empty or you're a communist meanie.

He Wants To Get Married
(sandy knox, anthony little)
He believes in the family unit
The union of man and wife
He believes that you stand before god
For better, for worse and beyond this life
He believes that a ring on his finger
Is something to be proud of
For all of the world to witness
That he is committed to this love
He wants to get married
Hell build a house in the country
Where hell watch his children grow
And teach them the values of something
That most people never even know
He wants to get married
I never thought I would be so blessed
To know a man like this
Hes everything, everything I believe that a man should be
And when he is called to his maker
He wants to go to his grave
With his final remembrance of this earth
To be one last look at his wifes face
He wants to get married
He wants to get married
Oh, he wants to get married
But not to me

Resentment?
Resentment?
I have never met anyone,
With abilities and skills...
That expressed a resentment,
Towards anyone seeking to be convinced...
Talents they possess,
Could be used at someone else's benefit.
And there to easily access.
But had been ignored,
For another sought to address...
That left them with an impression to express.
Resentment?
How many people do you know,
Would give up their expertise freely?
To confess to anyone,
That a giving up of their unpaid time...
Had been rejected,
Without a compensation of payment done.
To allow a continuance of their peace of mind?
And this they kept protected.
Acknowledging how this was difficult to find.
Resentment?
I doubt very seriously if they had that feeling.
Perhaps relieved...
What they brought to offer to others,
Had not been dissected or scrutinized.
With a diluting done of their freely given abilities.
Resentment?
Would not be the word I'd use,
To define their state of mind.

The Wife of the Mind
Sharecroppers' child, she was more schooled
In slaughtering pigs and coaxing corn out of
The ground than in the laws of Math, the rules
Of Grammar. Seventeen, she fell in love
With the senior quarterback, and nearly
Married him, but—the wedding just a week
Away—drove her trousseau back to Penney's,
Then drove on past sagging fences, flooding creeks,
And country bars to huge Washington State,
Where, feeling like a hick, she studied French to compensate.
She graduated middle-of-her-class,
Managed a Senior Center while she flailed
Away at an M.A., from the morass
Of which a poet/rock-singer from Yale
Plucked her. He loved her practicality;
She adored his brilliance. Sex was great.
They married in a civil ceremony.
He played around, for which she berated
Herself, telling friends things were "hunky-dory."
Resentment grew... oh, you said "life"? That's another story.

Are You Married or Single?
Marriage is an institution that changes human life
After the wedding ceremony a brand new life begins
This means that nobody is ever the same again
Everybody anticipates better life after the wedding
Not all anticipation materialize the way we wanted
If you are one of the happily married ones
You should count your blessings and rejoice
Human beings get married for many reasons
Many get married for love and affection
Some get married for money and security
Few get married for convenience and expediency
Other people get married to have children
While the rest are married for other reasons
Marriage is meant to increase our happiness
But not all the married ones are truly happy
Those who are happily married, rejoice
Because they found the compatible partner
Because they have beautiful children
Because they love and respect each other
Because they sincerely care for each other
Because they have understanding in-laws
Staying married does not mean that your life
Is free from worries, problems and tribulations
Always remember your vows on the wedding day
For better or for worse, for richer or for poorer
If you are given the chance to do it all over again
Will you marry the same partner?
Or you will prefer marrying somebody else
Whatever may be your response or answer?
Please stay happy and enjoy the moment

Marriage is God-made
Marriage is a holy state –
Of minds and bodies and souls two!
A one-time event in our life;
None dare untie the knots thus made!
Marriage is not all mere fun;
Be faithful to your spouse always;
The gift of God is children dear –
The priceless wealth from God above!
Once married, live for the other;
Let no one else in life bother;
The days ahead have joys and woes;
But this is how life on earth goes!
The bond of love is especial,
Though misunderstandings could arise;
The sex in marriage is sacred;
God cares for you and will provide.
So, live your married life with care;
Do just things that are right and fair;
Heaven will bless the married pair;
Remember, we are earthen-ware!

Women now have choices. They can be married, not married, have a job, not have a job, be married with children, unmarried with children. Men have the same choice we've always had: work, or prison.
Eye Of The Storm
[DADDY X]
Fire It Up.
The next chapter.
(Yup)
Legalize freedom,
Free your mind.
(Forecast says that high winds are blowin.)
Higher consciousness.
(Dark clouds up ahead, we kept rollin.)
You create your own reality.
(Some times you gotta live life knowin.)
Stoney vibrations.
(Your in the eye of the storm.)
Seek Truth
Observe Nature
Educate Yourself
(Refuse to conform.)
Find your real history.
(Deviate from the norm.)
Non-conformity,
Anarchy.
(Refuse to conform.)
Walk your own walk.
Every moment is a gift.
(Forecast says that high winds are blowin.)
Create your own reality.
(Dark clouds up ahead, we kept rollin.)
Live while u live.
(Some times you gotta live life knowin.)
Freedom is a state of mind.
(Your in the eye of the storm.)
Freedom is a state of mind.
(Refuse to conform.)
Non-conformity,
(Deviate from the norm.)
Individuality,
Legalize freedom,
(Refuse to conform.)
Legalize freedom,
Creation,
(Your in the eye of the storm.)
Legalization,
Legalization.

High salaried income,
Deciding factor,
Happy married life.
Month-end dinner
Dining in posh restaurant,
Happy married life.

Joyful picnic,

I ask every Communist individually to set an example, by deeds and without pretense, a real example worthy of a man and a Communist, in restoring order, starting normal life, in resuming work and production, and in laying the foundations of an ordered life.

Empty Hands
He rode in town on a white horse
With nothing in his hands
He came to gather his people
And take them to their promised land
When he came he knew there would be bloodshed
But still no violence made his plans
He came to fight in a battle
With no guns or money
But with his empty hands
With his empty hands
With his empty hands
With his empty hands
They said hey boy what you lookin'at
As they eyed his dreaded mane
He said my father has sent me
I've come back to reclaim
The children whose hearts
Were so whole and pure
Now it's you who'll die in pain
So they lynched the man
Who fooled the word
And all the children gathered
In his empty hands
In his empty hands
The children ..... empty hands
In his empty hands
With his empty hands
Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah

Alcoholism In Tamil Nadu, S.India
How to send them to school clean and tidy,
When they have to pass through the muddy roads,
All politicians of my country should walk on this path,
Before they go to the state assembly and Parliament,
Let them teach us how they keep their white shoes, white,
Let them teach us how to carry these bags in rain, not wet,
Let them teach us how to survive with rationed food and water,
Let them go through all these hardship to develop this country,
But most of them have gone through what we go through,
But they forget the past and seek the friendship of rich and high,
Half of my countrymen are dirt poor and dirtier than dirt,
Even in their new clothes they wear once in many blue moon year,
Our children are malnourished and their medicines are stolen,
The milk is adulterated, the medicines are adulterated,
What is not adulterated where the poor men buy from,
Intelligent people are serving themselves in fine dining,
While my poor countrymen drink and save the revenue,
For the state government, Let our men be the alcoholics,
Let our women suffer, Let our children starve and spoil,
Let the government of Tamil Nadu, prosper in distillery.
Shame on everyone who can think for others, not for their own.

We Got Married
Going fast, coming soon
We made love in the afternoon.
Found a flat, after that
We got married.
Working hard for the dream,
Scoring goals for the other team,
Times were bad, we were glad
We got married.
Like the way you open up your hearts to each other,
When you find a meeting of the minds.
Just as well love was all we ever wanted,
It was all we ever had.
Further on in the game,
Waiting up till the children came.
Place your bets, no regrets,
We got married.
We got married.
We got married.
Nowadays every night flashes by
At the speed of light,
Living life, loving wife,
We got married.
I love the things that happen
When we start to discover
Who we are and what were living for,
Just because love was all we ever wanted
It was all we ever had.
Its not just a loving machine,
It doesnt work out
If you dont work at it.

Country Road
Goin down that country road,
Leavin behind that heavy load.
Gettin away from the city life,
Society causes too many fights.
Chorus
Down my country road.
Down my country road, oh.
Down my country road.
Down my country road, road, road.
Too much killin and too many wars,
Women and children must be shuttin their doors.
Protect your country and for this you must die,
They take your life but they dont tell you why.

Burmese Democracy Expected Ethnic Problems
been watching
the future today...
from past lens astray
Burma as expected
has developed
ethnic problems
with sudden absence
of strict communist
dictatorship firm leash
Burmese are no longer
all brother communists
controlled by the state
past civic grievances
rise from postmortem
state of frozen stasis
past horrors play
on revenge rabid minds
need exercising?
past spectre struggles
post World War II conflicts
leave skeletons in closets
frozen nightmares divisions
war atrocities split Yugoslavia
post familiar communist thaw
emotively haunted people
seem to need to grim settle
past trauma before each
can move on embrace
future possibilities opportunities
in free market societies
when no longer linked
in brotherhood communist
cast iron citizenships
emotively many people
seem to need to settle
the past before they can
move on
and embrace
the future
