Despise not death, but welcome it, for nature wills it like all else.

I Despise!

i despise...
the self centered concept
that one group of people,
that one race, or one religion,
is better than all the rest.

i despise...
any system that feeds
the few at the expense
of the many.

i despise...
ignorance, arrogance,
greed, and apathy.

i despise...
the pursuit of money
at the expense of living.

i despise...
narrow minded people
who try to lead
for the good of mankind.

i despise...
indifference, intolerance,
and unforgiveness!

Disingenuousness

Here lies another box for nature,
Carbon ready;
Black to eyes down here,
Where death is at its job.

Up there you’ll hear a rhythmic sob
Or two from living yet-to-dies –
A humming lacrimoso –
It all but cleans the eyes:

Forget it –
The dismal show of grief –
Life is only chemistry –
Our stay is only brief.
It’s we who hype it up!

Diaphragms jerk again;
The jet monotone of hearses
Feeds the disingenuousness
Of undertakers –
They seem to stare at something up ahead –
For them, it’s in the blood,
To taxi off the dead.

Agnostic After 49 Years

49 years are all enough
to perfect
agnosticism.

the icons are sold.
religion is turned off like a nonsense radio.
belief is suspended
like a frozen stalactite.

but for one thing the river still runs to the sea
calling for help.

agnosticism does not expect anything
from an ocean.
it sinks and wills what death wills.

Senseless Death

Death is blind
Death is deaf
yet it is dumb

Death is senseless
Absolutely at that
So much so
To the kings door
It knocks upon
From a mother's womb
It feeds thereof

If death had a way
Heavens gate it will shake
The chains of hell
It will break
Searching a new soul to take

Senseless
As death may seem
Upon every soul
Still it sneaks
Taking from any
As it wills.

It's Death Again

It's Death again - He's always there -
Watching, waiting - e'er the stare!
Every time I look behind
Or reach to pull the window blind,
I catch a glimpse of grubby hood -
A little clue to where he stood;
The glint of light that caught the scythe.
Perhaps if I could pay a tithe…
But O! no use, he'll never go.
The adamant phantom; don't you know
He will but wait until it's time
For me to hear His fateful chime? -
The toll that claims my destiny,
To Hail: 'You're next, it has to be…'

Despise

Despise!!!
Maze...psychopathic daze...i create this waste
Back away from tangents, on the verge of drastic
Ways...cant escape this place...i deny your face
Sweat gets in my eyes, lash out at all I despise
Handsonmyfaceoverbearingicantgetout
Lost...ran at my own cost...hearing laughter, scoffed
Learning from the rush, detached from such and such
Bleak...standing on my feet...listening incomplete
I am not a dog, but Im the one you dog
Handsonmyfaceoverbearingicantgetout
Never - ever - surrender - I want it all!
Never - ever - surrender - despise
My state of mind gets so one-sided
Despise!!!
Cut me - show me - enter - I am
Willing and able and never any danger to myself
Knowledge in my pain, knowledge in my pain
Or was my tolerance a phase?
Empathy, out of my way
I cant die
Never - ever - surrender - I want it all!
Never - ever - surrender - despise
My state of mind gets so one-sided
Despise!

How Curious Is Nature

How curious the occasion
Of the funeral procession
Of a young and innocent being

The ceasing of song,
and the darkness of death, The sunlight
thought no more to be seen

How curious that Nature
All around this sad event allows the sun
to yet shine and the birds to still sing

Perhaps Nature knows more than
One would suppose, and that death is
No more than a soul taking wing

Aye, how curious
Tis death
And the nature of things

It is clear that he does not pray, who, far from uplifting himself to God, requires that God shall lower Himself to him, and who resorts to prayer not to stir the man in us to will what God wills, but only to persuade God to will what the man in us wills.

Politicians Despise Referendums

POLITICIANS DESPISE REFERENDUMS
BY
jamesbredin.com

Politicians despise binding referendums; did you know?
They also hate recall and the Internet but never say so,
So we have to walk lightly or they might even pass a law,
So they can stay in office forever which might be a flaw.

They also despise elections because they could loose their jobs,
So set-date elections could put them out on the streets with the nobs,
And no elected senators because they will be appointed,
And Supreme Court judges and Governor Generals anointed

But if they make the proper changes, they might stay a while
We need binding referendums and death with dignity in style
We need to vote for a senator so they get no free hand outs,
Why should we be the ones with all the political doubts?

just doing the will of God

if you like how i have done it
i will tell you
i am just doing the will of God
and if you did not like what i did
and you tell me
that you did not like it and that
you may take my life away
i will still tell you
i am just doing the will of God,
and if you tell me to stop
doing what God wills me to do
i will tell you I won't i can't
i will still do that which God wills
me to do...

for i am nothing, without Him.

Aiming

Despise a cross woman who is a witch
Or they shall devour you from the inside-out.
Guess him as her fencing him or her to see where?
She is a witchcraft? Yes, son who fences.
To meet this score I see you against witchcraft -
The rest of the archers are nothing.
To take my aiming nature is towards nature,
And my son is fearsome on the witches,
Not the wizard in the way.
So please do what I bid. Just only his father to his son.

Thirteen Lines

A brain peered through stoic eyes;
Yet all it saw was rendered into
Flawed interpretation –
No honoured contemplation of a
Gluon, muon, quark of any flavour;
Nor a vision or conception of its world
Within a universe anthropic in its physical laws,
Inside a boundless multiverse.
All it gleaned and modelled
Bore parochialism well beyond belief! –
Delusional perhaps.
Survival only matters here on planet Earth –
Evolution saw to that.

The Goddess Of Nature Will Be Living On

When all who live now to the reaper have gone
The Goddess of Nature will be living on
Like the Seasons the generations of people they come and they go
But Nature's own Goddess of death will never know,
When i am not here in some future Spring
The pee wee in the old Town Parkland will sing
And where wild things do live and where wildflowers abound
The Goddess of Nature she is to be found,
The stillness of death awaits you and i
But the Goddess of Nature she will never die
The beauty she creates all around us to see
And her birds chirp and whistle on shrub, bush and tree
And she has inspired writers to story and rhyme
The Goddess of Nature who does not age in time.

Death and I

When death comes
I’ll need not love –
Consumed,
No wreath or dove
Could offer me salvation,
Not when I’m no more.

A weathered stone will bear my name –
Identity of once a being
Living out existence in
A world of risk, and never seeing
Sense of why we’re here.

My genes will die away thro’ child –
Hue of eyes and hair, the way of thought,
Will quickly dim with generation –
Bow to future dominance –
Memories of provenance
Resigned to curious few.

When death comes
I’ll need not grace
Below; no grieving face
Will call my resurrection,
Not when I’m at ground –

Death and I so bound.
