Each state in the Union is honored in the order of when it ratified the Constitution and became a part of the United States. This September it is Iowa's turn. Iowa became the 29th state to be admitted to the union on December 28, 1846.

As much as I value an union of all the states, I would not admit the southern states into the union, unless they agreed to the discontinuance of this disgraceful trade, because it would bring weakness and not strength to the union.

That the said Constitution shall never be construed to authorize Congress to infringe the just liberty of the press or the rights of conscience or to prevent the people of the United states who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms...

The preamble to the Constitution states We, the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquillity, provide for the common defence, promote the general welfare... It doesn't say guarantee the general welfare. And it certainly doesn't say give welfare benefits to all the people in the country who aren't doing so well even if the reason they aren't doing so well is because they're sitting on their butts in front of the TV.

The real object of those who resorted to Secession, as well as those who sustained it, was not to overthrow the Government of the United States but to perpetuate the principles upon which it was founded. The object in quitting the Union was not to destroy, but to save the principles of the Constitution.

I rise in support of the separation of powers as established by our Founding Fathers in the Constitution. The Constitution clearly delegates the power to deal with criminal matters, like the use of drugs, to the States.

Its Only Love
Lonely days and lonely nights
Seeming so much longer with the phone lines
Torn between decisions wrong or right
Ooh I wish I knew the stars tonight
cause you could look around and see
The moving pictures of my minds eye
(chorus)
Its only loveits a miracle
Its a wonder
Its only loveits a miracle
There we meet at some forgotten point
On the streets of new york or was it london town
Maybe we were daydreaming out loud
Or maybe we nowhere
It doesnt matter now cause
You mean more to me than any hope or any dream
I know now
Its only loveits a miracle
Its a wonder
Its only loveits a miracle
When I say I miss you then I mean that I need you
When I say I need you then I mean that I miss you now
Its only loveits a miracle
Its a wonder
Its only loveits a miracle
Its only loveits a miracle
Its a wonder
Its only loveits a miracle
Its only loveits a miracle
Its a wonder
Its only loveits a miracle

I Hope You're Happy
I hope you’re happy
When you see her smile
Illuminating up your world
Left breathless all the while
I hope you’re happy
When she looks at you
Piercing the depths of your eyes
Whenever she speaks the truth
I hope you’re happy
When all you hear is her voice
A musical trill in the air
Singled out from the noise
I hope you’re happy
When she keeps you company
Seeking comfort in her presence
And everything she could be
I hope you’ll be happy
When smiling gets too hard
And seeing you hurts too much
When I’ve been broken apart
But I’ll try to be happy
If it means you will be too
And if she is what it takes
Then that’s what I’ll do

Born on the 4th of July.
Liberty is their destination.
Born on
The fourth of July 1776.
Liberty is taken
For the pursuit of happiness's, freedom
And declared, constitution.
Those who have chosen liberty
Have freedom, freedom to choose
Never oppression

The real difference between the United States and other nations lies not in the words of the preamble to the Constitution, but in the fact that the substantive clauses of that Constitution are enforced by individuals independent of and not beholden to the elected branches.

I am not a federal employee. I am a constitutional officer. My job is the Constitution of the United States, I am not a government employee. I am in the Constitution.
I Hope You're Happy
I hope you're happy.
I hope you don't give it a second thought.
I hope you're happy but that's not enough.
I hope your miserble in that grave you dug.
I hope it's me you're thinking of when you choke on your tears.
I hope you waste the years with someone untrue.
I hope the words you said come back to haunt you.
The mistake you made, I hope it drives you insane.
I hope it hurts you to say my name.
If you're lonely you've got no one to blame but yourself.
So I hope your happy with somebody else.
I hope you're doing alright.
I hope it's guilt that keeps you up at night
I hope it eats you away.
I hope you regret every single day spent without me.
I hope it kills you to hear the truth spoken loudly.
I hope you have fun pretending to care about her.
I hope you believe that you can't live without her.
I hope you're happy.
I hope you don't fall apart.
I hope you're happy.
I hope she breaks your worthless heart.

I would have the Constitution torn in shreds and scattered to the four winds of heaven. Let us destroy the Constitution and build on its ruins the temple of liberty. I have brothers in slavery. I have seen chains placed on their limbs and beheld them captive.

Miracle
Many roads Ive travelled
And faces Ive seen
Each tells a story
Of what might have been
A missed golden moment
But life still remains
A search for the innocence
Somehow we lost on the way
And we all need a miracle, that I truly believe
Yes we all need a miracle, and I believe my miracle is you
Now the silence that follows
The last curtain call
I dont know anyone
Who has come through it all
You gave me direction
A part in your cast
No longer make believe
Now that I know it will last
Cos we all need a miracle, that I truly believe
Yes we all need a miracle, and I believe my miracle
And I believe my miracle
I believe my miracle
Yes I believe my miracle is you
