The most common of all antagonisms arises from a man's taking a seat beside you on the train, a seat to which he is completely entitled.

Fait accompli
the plane took off
i realized i did not like the aisle seat
i transferred to the window seat
and the stewardess said
'excuse me, sir! ' trying to stop me
for doing so,
i pretended i heard no one
moved as fast a i can towards the window seat
fastened my seat belt
and put my head
well rested on the
beside the window
below the clouds flew
past me
on a deceiving speed
the mountains spread
benumbing

Train
There’s a train that leads to miles away,
It’s a special train, It leaves today.
You’ve looked it up and booked it
Bought your seat,
Invested
You’ve planned your trip
The time you’ll spend
The time you’ll spend away.
It leaves at ten o’clock today.
It’s a special train that leaves today
You’ve looked it up and booked it.
Bought your seat,
Invested.
But all the same, your special train
it angry engine will not wait.
And the timing you’ve neglected
And though you’ve planned the time you’ll spend
Upon your train away.
The special train for which you’ve paid,
the train, it left today.

Ode To The Fanny Queens
It takes a super butt;
To prove the strength,
Of a frail seat of power
and of deposit of the user,
of same seat of power,
From the butt and of a squeekey
Butt; the user of the seat
of power
Who can laugh at ones self,
is the winner over all,
of the glorious seat of power.

That guy in a twenty-five cent bleacher seat is as much entitled to know a call as the guy in the boxes. He can see my arm signal even if he can't hear my voice.
Eastbound Train
It was New Cross Station, I was going on home
Saw you get your ticket, standing on your own
Here come the train about 02:44
I couldn't get a smoker, you took another car
Yeah, the end of the line, we both had to change,
And you're standing right behind me,
I'm a feeling kinda strange
We got to Mile End Road, my heart skipped a beat,
Standing right behind me, I'm a shakin' in my seat
3-4 minutes and the train comes through,
I'm ridin' on the Central, I'm a-lookin' at you.
Woman on the eastbound train,
Sometimes I wanna see you again.
Now I couldn't read a paper, you couldn't read a book,
Kept on taking me another look,
You got off the train, you never looked behind
I tried, but I can't get you out of my mind.
Woman on the eastbound train,
Sometimes I wanna see you again.
Well I got one more thing I wanna say before I go
If you get the message on the radio
You can write a letter, get in touch with me,
Leave your number with the company, yeah.
Woman on the eastbound train,
Sometimes I wanna see you again.

Bubble Pop Electric
I'm empty, I need fulfilling, yes I do love
To the ceiling, when I do love
I get this feeling when I'm in love
I'm restless, can't you see I try my bestest
To be good girl, because it's just us
So take me now and do me justice
I'm waiting patiently
Anticipating your arrival
And I'm hating
It takes so long to get to my house
To take me out
Tonight, I'm gonna give you all my love in the back seat
Bubble pop electric, bubble pop electric
Gonna speed it down and slow it up in the back seat
Bubble pop electric
Uh-oh, in the back seat
Ok now, I understand he's on his way now
But jeez Louise, I mean today now
I can't wait, I wanna play now
I'm antsy
Bubble pop electric pansies
My sweet tooth, I want your candy
The Queen of Eng would say it randy
I'm itchy
I wish you would come and scratch me
Tonight I'm falling, won't you catch me
Swoop on by, so you can snatch me
And take me out
Tonight, I'm gonna give you all my love in the back seat
Bubble pop electric, bubble pop electric
Gonna speed it down and slow it up in the back seat
Bubble pop electric
Uh-oh, in the back seat
The need to be satisfied
Come pick me up, I want a ride
Hurry, hurry, come to me
Drive in movie
Drive in, move me
Drive into me
Bubble pop electric
You've gotta get it
(Straight to me, drive in movie)
Take it to the back seat
Run it like a track meet
(Come to me, drive in movie)
[2x]
Tonight, I'm gonna give you all my love in the back seat
Bubble pop electric, bubble pop electric
Gonna speed it down and slow it up in the back seat
Bubble pop electric
Uh-oh, in the back seat
[2x]

Bench
Sitting on a bench watching people go by.
Smiles and frowns, Stares and glares
Wondering what they are thinking?
Is it me greeting them one by one
Or me sitting on a bench.
The seat of comfort and distractions
a place to think and read
Feed the birds, Friendly chats
Surprising hellos, A lot of old fellows
wanting the seat, for they are beat!
Everyone's favorite seat
The bench of life

Edge Of My Seat
Nothing more
That there's nothing more
Nothing here's the same
It's all a dream
Life on a movie screen
And I'm sitting on the
Edge of my seat
I can't tell what happens next
Just what I've seen
Don't know what it means
But I'm holding on the
Edge of my seat
I can't forget your name
Forget your name
Yeah, I can't forget you
Now I know
I can't forget you girl
I promise
Sit back, buckle in
And hold on tight
A roller coaster ride
And I'm holding on the
Edge of my seat
And I don't know for sure
'Cause I just landed
On your shore
But I think you've got nothing
But another thing comin'
If you think there's nothing more
That there's nothing more

All Church power arises from the indwelling of the Spirit; therefore those in whom the Spirit dwells are the seat of Church power. But the Spirit dwells in the whole Church, and therefore the whole Church is the seat of Church power.

Seated At D
at the F seat of
the plane
the fat man with scattered white hair
talks that his daughter is
graduating tomorrow
in high school,
the E seat man
makes a link that his son is
graduating this afternoon
in the elementary school
they are overseas workers
from Jeddah
they are talking about salaries
and other incentives
the thin one brags that he
can work overtime and on fridays
he sidelines as driver
in the desert
road
I am the D seat man
i close my eyes and take my sleep
the plane sails like a ship in
a very calm sea &
i really have nothing to say.

Someone Wants To Show Me Some Magic
Remember when you stood on my foot,
With an expectation to hear me scream?
And I gave you a look,
As if you were the fool!
Because I knew immediately,
You had no idea...
That I was not only the train engineer,
And it's conductor.
But I also cooked the meals...
And entertained.
When you saw me taking out the garbage...
I was making sure the train,
Maintained its comfort...
For those passengers I guaranteed,
The time of their lives they would believe.
Do you remember doing that to me?
I hope so!
Because just like those times gone before?
On 'my' train...
You are still not welcomed aboard.
~Hey,
Wassup? ~
Nothing much.
Go grab a seat.
I'll be in to treat you...
As soon as I make myself clear,
To a wannabee.
~You need my ticket? ~
How many times have you ridden with me for free?
As for you?
You can get off my foot now.
Maybe you will get re-imbursed...
For a trip you didn't take.
Oh...
And,
Give me a moment.
I'll be there shortly...
I need to see what it is you do to convince.
Good luck!
~Hey,
Wassup? ~
Doing great.
We may be a little late.
Someone wants to show me some magic.

If you offer to share your seat with a person who has a big bottom your bound to lose it completely.
Joy on the Trains at Jubilee Time
At the station, the platform is packed.
Soon our train is heading down the track.
As our London-bound train slowly approaches,
I am surprised by the evident lack of coaches.
The ensuing rush to get on, is all rather manic.
The Guard blows his whistle and everyone panics.
Upon the platform, there's soon no one left,
But many new passengers are out of breath.
Once onboard, there is standing room only:
There's certainly no chance of being lonely.
Of vacant seats, I see there is a major lack,
So I stand, holding on to the luggage rack.
Some people are huddled up by the doors,
Whilst others plump for a seat on the floor.
At the next station, they don't release all the doors:
Our already packed train can only take a few more.
By the time that our train reaches Woking,
It's a real nightmare - I wish I was joking,
But passengers are left abandoned on the platform:
Their faces disappointed, they all look so forlorn.
I overhear a number of passengers complain
About the distinct lack of carriages on our train.
During my journey, I spend most of my time
Thinking up sentences which, nicely, rhyme.
By the time our train pulls in to Waterloo,
With my new poem, I am almost through.
We're ten minutes late and the Guard explains
This was due to passengers boarding the train.
When I head home again, it is getting quite late.
And the number of carriages now totals eight.
No one is standing: everybody has a seat.
I travel home in comfort. Oh, what a treat!

As A Drive The Car To The City
you will always be on my right
at the front seat
do not talk too much
i have had enough
you are my wife and will always
be at the front seat
do not take that position for granted
others are waiting
somewhere over the next block
for a hitch
of this marriage trip.

To call an old as old is an insult.
No man, old though he may be,
Likes to be treated so
When he is offered a seat beside a women.
No woman, old though she may be,
Likes to be branded so
When she is given a seat beside a man.
Don’t treat the old as old.
