He who has loved and who betrays love does harm not only to the image of the past, but to the past itself.

I Don't Know Where The Past Is Gone

I don’t know where the past is gone
I only know most of my own life is over-
I don’t know where the past has gone
I only know so many people I loved
Are no longer here and will never be here again-
I don’t know where the past has gone
I only know that that chance I had that hope for so many years
Can never be mine in the same way again-
I don’t know where the past has gone
So many moments of beauty and love and opportunity missed and longing unrealized-
I don’t know where the past has gone
And what of it I should miss
And why I should long for it so.
I don’t know where the past has gone
And where my life was lost and why I did not do better in it-
I don’t know where the past has gone
And what will be when for me
Everything is only the Past gone

A Dark Past

My past is dark
It's full of pain and tears
My past is my story
My past made me stronger
People still don't know why my past is dark
But I will tell you
No more hiding for me

My past is red stained razors
I admit I did cut
But, I will no more
My closest friend was the only one that knew
Me and her alike in so many ways
We helped each other through thick and thin

My future is bright and happy
I am loved and always will be loved
In my future I will not shed a tear
For I will be surrounded by loved ones
My past is erased I have no regrets
My life is better oh..so much better

Gone

Everything of the past is a memory gone
Remembering my past will only be a sign of weakness
Now life is so cruel, that the past has left no meaning
I am very alone and that is how I have to live my future life.
Anything which reminds me of my past, is to be stayed away from
That is the best and the only way to survive.
If I said I still do love you
Then it would be a big lie now
Since, now the love which I had for you has actually turned into hate
Earlier I loved you a lot and very truly
Now I do not love you
As a matter of fact, the hate is so much that the pain of the past is like a volcano
Which will just blast, if I ever again came close to you
Stay away my past, you are my memory, which is gone.

More fundamentally, it is a dream that does not die with the onset of manhood: the dream is to play endlessly, past the time when you are called home for dinner, past the time of doing chores, past the time when your body betrays you past time itself.

The Past

Looking back, looking at you
Loving you alone not even a few,
Waiting there, waiting for you,
Like a man in a long queue
I knew my love was due,
I sworn not to love a few,
But to love only you

The moments we had did last,
Looking at you, looking at the past,
It was love, it was never lust,
The wonderful momentss in the dust,
And the dances in the grass,
The kisses in the mist,
Yes those I do miss,
The moments of laughter and peace,
With great precision and bliss,
Its the past, never did it last

Thinking you, seeing the past
By then we thought it could last,
The love just pure and vast,
In my mind you were the first,
Among the loved you were the most,
Its a phase, its the past
You made us damp and we had rust,
In my mind you are now the last,
It was love by then, it is the past

You'll Know You Were Loved

Some things come to he who waits
but all is lost if you hesitate
And I was never one to wait
you'll know you were loved
You can hire great lawyers, you can speak to your friends
you can say he did this and that some things don't change
Unwrap the present and burn the remains
but you'll know you were loved
Now you take Roscoe, he ain't much
people say things are ruined after his touch
It's like a tar was dripping from his brush
but you'll know you were loved
Or Stan or Jake emerging from your past
from those love affairs that didn't last
But me, I'll give it my last gasp
and you'll know you were loved
A parrot, a donkey, a dog, a bone
some of us never had a home
And if we did we left it long ago
and didn't know we were loved
Empty as a wooden clock
left in the woods at twelve o'clock
Insides all rusted and spring is popped
but you'll know you were loved
Even when you sleep at night
inside your heart will cry
You can never say goodbye
when you know you were loved
Under-achievers of the world unite
You have nothing to lose except your fright
And together we can perhaps past the night
when you know you were loved
And together we can perhaps past the night
when you know you were loved

Have You Ever Been?

Have you ever been
Tied to the past
Striving for the future
Yet stuck in a holocaust

Have you ever been
Living two lives
One in the past, hidden from all
One in the present, to show them all

Have you ever been
Loved so pure
To hold, is all you want to do
Yet you let go, for love is true

Have you ever been
Content! !
Content of the past and the present
Or do you see yourself linger, from one to the other end...

Have you ever been...?
Have you ever been...?

All My Dreams Left In Past

How the years have passed so fast

All those beauties have gone with the past

I remember all my dreams

Purple they were and blue

Oh, my god how much i'm in need to

To believe once again to the pover of my dreams!

While at the past I never was afraid to dream

And now even the wish of dream, Is lost

And I came here alone

All the beauties that oneday I've had

I've left them at the past and
i'm all alone

Even the wish of smlle

All those people that I loved

Those were more precious than my eyes

My grandmother and her angelic smile

She was my shelter where I've always run

Everytime that l've got mad

I went there and I cried

Even my shelter I've lost
with the past

The sun above and the blue sky

How much I felt happy at the past

When every morning through my road to school

The sun chased
my childish spirit and always how I felt glad

Through my road to school

And every evening in return I always prayed to find him in my road

Oh, everything and everyone
All those that I loved
Lost them with the past!

To Reminisce

to reminisce is not to surrender
to the past
and be defeated

it is to indulge
in what you had been with the people
you loved
and who loved you truly in the past

they are the everlasting flowers
from Baguio
that you put in your altar

to make your prayers warmer
so that the morning in its coldness
may also be delighted

Sad Love Pains

I am not sure of myself and not even about this life anymore. Doubt, only doubt is here. One thing is sure that I will never look back into my past. Being left alone was not easy to deal with although my past will never understand. My past was all that I had and loved. Sadly, it is gone and I have to forget forever.

The past is the ghost.

One fears the past the most
And the future the least.
The image he got looms
Rather than the one perceived.
With the past long and strong,
One’s fear is deep and wild.

Rabindranath Tagore

Unending Love

I seem to have loved you in numberless forms, numberless times…
In life after life, in age after age, forever.
My spellbound heart has made and remade the necklace of songs,
That you take as a gift, wear round your neck in your many forms,
In life after life, in age after age, forever.

Whenever I hear old chronicles of love, it's age-old pain,
It's ancient tale of being apart or together.
As I stare on and on into the past, in the end you emerge,
Clad in the light of a pole-star piercing the darkness of time:
You become an image of what is remembered forever.

You and I have floated here on the stream that brings from the fount.
At the heart of time, love of one for another.
We have played along side millions of lovers, shared in the same
Shy sweetness of meeting, the same distressful tears of farewell-
Old love but in shapes that renew and renew forever.

Today it is heaped at your feet, it has found its end in you
The love of all man’s days both past and forever:
Universal joy, universal sorrow, universal life.
The memories of all loves merging with this one love of ours –
And the songs of every poet past and forever.

The Past Is An Old Man's Poem

The Past is an old man’s poem
And all he was
And all he can never be again
And all the people he loved
No longer here-
And all the times he can barely remember
And never forget
And all the love lost
And all the waste
And all the sadness
And all the joy and the still strong happiness-

The Past is an old man’s poem
Written in his memory
And waiting to be said again and again
While he lives through another day and another night and another memory lost
The past is an old man ‘s poem
And that poem too will be gone before long.

An Unregained

I'm not remembering her;
chancing to meet.
we greet
synchronizing expressions
trying to collect
memory bits from the past
as to place
and circumstance.

The Universe between
the Not-Remembered and the Half-Forgotten,
is not joy, not pain,
not past, not present;
this is a small-talk world;
agenda-less.

We talk-
minutes going on-
both hoping
for memory to lurch
to the surface from our past
to penetrate to consciousness.

She, is someone I should know;
an old girl-friend or lover-foe?
Someone who loved me;
perhaps someone I had harmed?

Fumbling, I feint memory
hoping she’ll reveal who
I am
to her
and what had been
between she and I
and our last remembrances.

But she's neutral, not revealing much-
My blank stare frozen; still;
barriered from my own past.

I'm bereft
of attitude or anchoring,
and step away from this personal void;
memorylessness weakens me;
My tree has no branches.

But I see she knows now;
and I don't;
she in that instant
hides my own past from me
giving me no hint
as narrow-eyed we both squint
in morning light.

Now for me
the first memory bit
comes and then more of them;
ignited by her sad eyes.

I am to her the Forgiven One,
the one who did not love her
as she had loved me;
the one who loved not.

I am the Forgiven One
who had walked away
not seeing
the kindness she'd given me
of receiving from her love
that asked for nothing.

Sad are the eyes that remind
the Other was the person
who loved best.
Sad is the deadening spirit
of unrequited love's extent.

She said:
'You were loved far more
than you were able to give
and gifted
with more than you offered back.'

Piled high in her eyes
were all my regrets
un-intoned;
her love spilled by me
onto the Forgotten Floor.

After that time
I had taken her gift
and gave it to my next lover-
my atonement.

And she, too, similarly
had given me love that
she had deprived
from her previous lover.

We both walked away.
Sideswiped
by the Half-Forgotten and
the Unregained.

Look into her heart

Don’t look past her, look into her heart
Don’t deny this feeling, let it flow
Let this warmth soak into your heart
Let love be what it’s meant to be
Don’t look past her, look into her heart

You’ve been touched by a woman
And you know you cant resist her
She makes your senses spin
As you breathe her into you
This woman of heart and soul
Has this place you’ve searched for
Hungry and restless until she came
Her rhythmic responses to your touch
Her sighs and smiles make you a man

Don’t look past her, look into her heart
Don’t deny this feeling, let it flow
Let this warmth soak into your heart
Let love be what it’s meant to be
Don’t look past her, look into her heart

You’ve been loved by a woman
She gives herself to you
Her softness fills your heart
Gentle breathing next to you
As you caress her face, she is yours
You’ve not lived until you’ve met her
Uneasy heart now beating strong
Knowing a woman’s touch
Knowing her love, she is yours.

Don’t look past her, look into her heart
Don’t deny this feeling, let it flow
Let this warmth soak into your heart
Let love be what it’s meant to be
Don’t look past her, look into her heart

That Need Is Gone

The need is gone,
For me...
To hold onto,
My past.

That need is gone,
For me...
To hold onto,
My past.

And I,
Once had tried in vain...
To keep everything I knew,
Kept...
In my grasp.

Oh,
The need is gone...
For me,
To hold onto...
My past.

Yes that need is gone,
For me...
To hold onto,
My past.

Memories of people loved,
Would stay with me so fresh.
Dreams I had of them quite often,
Would awaken me...
Out of breath.

And the need is gone,
For me...
To hold onto,
My past.

Yes that need is gone,
For me...
To hold onto,
My past.

And I,
Once had tried in vain...
To keep everything I knew,
Kept...
In my grasp.

I once had tried in vain,
To keep everything remaining...
In,
My grasp!

That need I had was pursued,
To keep...
Everything kept,
In,
My grasp!

That need I had was pursued,
To keep everything I knew kept...
In my grasp,
To last!

Past

Past is past.
It never comes.
It helps us something to learn.

Past lives may hurt us.
But It never ruins us.
Don't fight the past.
Let it go, always be simple, always be inspired.

There is no point going with the past.
There is the point going with present.
Past determines nothing.
Present determines something.
