Did Anyone Know The Messenger?

What in the world,
Are they doing over there?

'Well...
It's a complicated story.
You see..
The culprit giving mouth to mouth,
Resuscitation to the messenger...
Knocked him out,
Because of a message read.
And...
Before he even began to read,
The people determined...
They didn't particularly care for his attitude.'

What did his attitude have to do,
With a message delivery?

'That's the point the messenger,
Attempted to make.
Then that guy called the messenger,
A bunch of names.
Then knocked him out.'

What was the message?

'Well..
I had to read it,
Because the others refused to get involved.'

What did the message say?

'It said...
Keep your faith, stay strong.
Love one another.
Seek and attempt peace.
And please forgive the messenger,
Delivering this message.
He has been volunteering his time,
Without any pay at all.'

Did anyone know the messenger?

'They all did!
That's what's complicated.'

I resent the idea that people would blame the messenger for the message, rather than looking at the content of the message itself.

Conditioned To Focus On Limitations

The message that they are getting to hear,
Is not the message heard they wish preferred.
And, coincidentally, it is not the content of the message.
They oppose and object,
It is the messenger who states this message,
With an eloquence delivered to them
They reject.

And 'if' that messenger had represented,
One of them
They'd be more inclined to pay attention.
But of course,
They have been conditioned to focus
On limitations to impress.
And not use their ears for listening
To a message they should address.

The message that they are getting to hear,
Is not the message heard they wish preferred.
And, coincidentally, it is not the content of the message.
They oppose and object,
It is the messenger who states this message,
With an eloquence delivered to them
They reject.

And it is obvious to those who know,
As to why most ears are ignorantly closed.
They want to raise the bar 'their' way.
But not with 'this' one.
Who has come to play,
Hardball with decked cards regardless.
Of what others perceive another should say.

They want to have it their way.
Even though their way betrays and begins to fade,
Those days of one's pigmentation.

Messenger

Messenger not to be shooted
It is through messenger
All problems solved
If one tried.

Messenger is supportive
To plan and procedure
No damage of any kind caused.

Time to reform messenger
Cooperation needed and not separation.

Destiny

They deliver the edicts of God

without delay

And are exempt from apprehension

from detention

And with their God-given

Petasus, Caduceus, and Talaria

ferry like bolts of lightning

unhindered between the tribunals

of Space & Time

The Messenger-Spirit

in human flesh

is assigned a dependable,

self-reliant, versatile,

thoroughly poet existence

upon its sojourn in life

It does not knock

or ring the bell

or telephone

When the Messenger-Spirit

comes to your door

though locked

It'll enter like an electric midwife

and deliver the message

There is no tell

throughout the ages

that a Messenger-Spirit

ever stumbled into darkness

A Most Unpleasant Man

Well, I'll rise above, once I forget,
What it was like then before we met,
I had no dreams,
There was no plan,
You see it's just that I am,
A most unpleasant man,
And now it all has come to pass,
I guess I knew it couldn't last,
And now I'm back to where I began,
And once again I've become,
A most unpleasant man,
Where would I go if you weren't here?
I'll try to find you everywhere,
Remeber me, not as I am,
But how I was as your truest friend,
Remeber me, not as I am,
How did I ever become,
A most unpleasant man?
I'll see you later baby...

Unpleasant

Unpleasant for some,
Is a truth that is spoken.
Unpleasant it may be,
For those fantasized with delusions protected.
Although they hide them from being criticized.

Truth is neither negative or positive.
It exists to be just that.
And those unaccustomed,
To know it for what it is.
Will always deny it a visit.
But it will come to sit...
Regardless who finds it to be unpleasant.

Ch 05 On Love And Youth Story 08

I remember how in former times I and another friend kept company with each other like two almond kernels in one skin. Suddenly a separation took place but after a time, when my companion returned, he commenced to blame me for not having sent him a messenger during it. I replied: ‘I thought it would be a pity that the eyes of a messenger should be brightened by thy beauty and I deprived thereof.’

Tell my old friend not to give me advice with the tongue
Because even a sword will not compel me to repent.
I am jealous that anyone should see thee to satiety.
Again I say that no one will be satiated.

I don't accept at all the quite popular argument that the press is responsible for the monarchy's recent troubles. The monarchy's responsible for the monarchy's recent troubles. To blame the press is the old thing of blaming the messenger for the message.

Sonnet: Why Blame?

Why blame the eagle for its swoop on mice?
Why blame the tiger for hunting its prey?
Why blame the drug-peddler for playing dice?
Why blame the donkey when it can but bray?

Why blame the wind that makes the branches sway?
Why blame the snake for its poison-fangs?
Why blame the sun for a hot summer’s day?
Why blame the police for the thieving gangs?

Why blame the night for being dark and cold?
Why blame the devils when they will tempt man?
Why blame our fate when we are getting old?
Why blame the Maker for how Man began?

Why blame the circumstances for our sins?
Why blame the tongue, whenever our words mince?

Get The Message

(eric carmen)
Recorded by cyrus erie
Epic 10451 / 1969
Weve been goin together so long
Cant you feel that theres somethin wrong?
You only take me half way there,
Come on (come on)
Come on (come on)
We cant go on this way
While theres nothin more to say
Get the message
(come on now, come on now)
Get the message
(come on now, come on now)
Can you hear me? can you clear me?
Get the message
My bedroom walls been scaled of late
So often its become my friend
But these great lows are what Ive got to end
Come on (come on)
Come on (come on)
We cant go on this way
One more hour, one more day
Get the message
(come on, now)
(come on, now)
Get the message
(come on, now)
(come on, now)
Can you hear me? can you clear me?
Get the message
Come on (come on)
Come on (come on)
We cant go on this way
One more hour, one more day
Get the message
(come on, now)
(come on, now)
Get the message
(come on, now)
(come on, now)
Can you hear me? can you clear me?
Get the message
(come on, now)
(come on, now)
Can you hear me? can you clear me?
Get the message

It Is The Message...Not The Messenger

I could care less,
How many messengers you leave beaten,
To avoid your mess that defeats your success.

It is the message...
Not the messenger,
That should be the focus of your concerns.

Free

So this is the cage that I built
Why I built it I dont know
Its bars made of anger and guilt, no lock
But somehow it just wouldnt let me go
All hail the messenger of love
I got your message loud and clear
Now Im hungry to be healed
And you cant, you cant keep me away
Im free
When we are one, I am complete
Im free
And Im undone and I will be healed in your eyes
I had to close a door in my life for another one to open
So i, I could go through, though I had no guiding light
And no signs somehow it still lead me to you
I learned a lesson here in love
And its ringing loud and clear
Now Im ready to reveal all the things
That before I could never say
Im free
When we are one, I am complete
Im free
And Im undone and I will be healed in your eyes
All hail the messenger of love
I got your message loud and clear
Now Im hungry to be healed
And you cant, you cant keep me away
When we are one, I am complete,
And Im undone, and I will be healed in your eyes
When we are one, I am complete,
And Im undone, and I will be healed in your eyes...
Im free...

Purpose For the Delivery

Evaluating the messenger,
Does not diminish the content of the message.
Nor do judgements given,
Dissect its power.
Options of free will,
Have never stopped the foolish.
Lessons learned too late...
Are what they are!
Lessons learned,
Too late.
Satiating a taste,
For diminishing appetites.

Those believing it is never too late...
Only have to stop their wishes,
For yesterdays reminisced.
To look outside to find that time...
Has not ceased to stop,
For those choosing to block it from moving forward.

It is doing so without one thought about them at all!
And the messenger could care less,
Who addresses what or when.
Or if ever discussed to comprehend.
To gather any attention then.
That is not the purpose for the delivery!
Nor a concern to debate with them!
Just like time...
Coming,
To Go!
With a flow that does not slow,
To await those chasing it!
