The march of invention has clothed mankind with powers of which a century ago the boldest imagination could not have dreamt.

Perchance to dream for friend thad

I dreamt or maybe dreamt I dreamt.
A lucid dream I could control,
in which I thought I would attempt
to contact my immortal soul.

I moved up to a higher plane.
Which I accomplished easily.
I thought perhaps that I could gain.
Some knowledge relevant to me.

I met myself and face to face
we could converse quite naturally.
Discussed the trials I must face
This seemed quite logical to me.

Was it a dream? I can’t be sure
I only know it seemed to be.
Somehow it served to reassure
me that all is as it ought to be.

Was it a dream or possibly
an altered state of consciousness.
A different reality
It could be either one I guess.

What does it matter anyway.
A dream may have reality
which we perceive a different way.
When viewed imaginatively.

Imagination is the key
which opens portals we can pass
in spirit form so easily
But must return too soon alas.

I dreamt or maybe dreamt I dreamt
a lucid dream I could control.
Perchance I failed in my attempt.
Not ready yet to be made whole.

Last night I dreamt of you

Last night I dreamt of you
The sky was white and blue
Flapping your wings you flew
Towards me shining with love
that was honest and true

Dreams are born out of imagination
They also spring out of need
Sometimes they are fired by desire
Mine was probably triggered
by your presence in my moments

Last night I dreamt of you
You gazed at me and smiled
Flew past me by the sea sand
Stretching out your hand
Calling out my name
again, again and again
I wondered if it will rain

My imagination of you
Is completely brand new
My need for you
Is that we pair up as twos
My nightly dreamly desire
Is that you light up my fire

I can see you clearly
As you kiss me mildly
I can hear your heart pound
In rythm with the sea wave sounds
Ochestrating the right motions
Hence you get a promotion
to my private love ocean

Last night I dreamt of you
I wish dreams come true
It is funny
Everyone says that too

Last Night I Dreamt Your Perfume

Last night I dreamt your perfume
While I held you in my hand
Last night I dreamt your perfume
You will never understand
The way you make me feel
The promise that you give
Last night I dreamt your perfume
Lost in those dreams I live

Last night I dreamt your perfume
Arched fingers cupped your breast
Last night I dreamt your perfume
Felt your warm breath brush my chest
With gel coat slide I gripped you
Sensation through my veins
Last night I dreamt your perfume
She who bears no name

Last night I dreamt your perfume
Your body meshed with mine
Last night I dreamt your perfume
A guilty pleasure, sweet, sublime
Quiet by my pillow
Your touch I never feel
Last night I dreamt your perfume
This morning, wished you real

Women

Vested with powers which thou envy
For this, she bears the brunt
Without retaliation
With these powers maintains a balance of forces
Both of body and soul
A daughter, a sister, a beloved, a wife, a mother she is
And you have made a whore of her
You roles in life well defined
A child, a son, a brother, a husband a child again
Fit only for this and no more
Living stoically
Has sent shivers down Newton's grave
Bleeding every month
Her fertility cements
But for those nine months
Survives and survives
For a soul unknown.
A man who bleeds
Digs himself a grave
A precursor to many graves
It is thus he treats her such
But should't he realise her powers
Her beauty, her passions, her emotions
Her sense to stand by that where he fails
May this eighth day of March lead her march to heavens
Where the powers be honoured and beauty be adored.

In other words, what is supposedly found is an invention whose inventor is unaware of his act of invention, who considers it as something that exists independently of him; the invention then becomes the basis of his world view and actions.

Temptation

Yesternight I dreamt some false
Of you holding me
Preventing me from the fall
And I dreamt not just the lust
But the worry in your eyes
For me that you had
That you were unable to hide.

Yesternight I dreamt some strange
Of you clutching me tight
So desperate to be close
More desperate to escape that while
And I dreamt not just the touches
But the sensations it sent down my spine
Your each move on my skin
That my words can never define.

Yesternight I dreamt you
In an irresistable unusualness
That I always want you to be in
But too tough to explain
And I dreamt not just your hardness
But the softness in your breadth
The warmth it contained
Though chilling me in each sense.

Yesternight I dreamt our togetherness
Of that’s so unreal
Still feels too tempting to be true
Until I feel you everywhere
And I know I’m dreaming no more
I feel myself craving for you
To bless my needs with exact boons
I can’t wait for it to come soon……

Imagination has brought mankind through the dark ages to its present state of civilization. Imagination led Columbus to discover America. Imagination led Franklin to discover electricity. Imagination has given us the steam engine, the telephone, the talking-machine, and the automobile, for these things had to be dreamed of before they became realities. So I believe that dreams--daydreams, you know, with your eyes wide open and your brain machinery whizzing--are likely to lead to the betterment of the world. The imaginative child will become the imaginative man or woman most apt to invent, and therefore to foster, civilization.

I Dreamt Of Her

I dreamt of her and she was in my room,
You dreamt of him and he was in your room,
I dreamt of you and you were in my room,
You dreamt of me and i was in your room,
And like the chemical chain of life!
But, this muse of love is all about us.

March

Were I young again
and the month of March
were upon me
I'd skip down the road,
do a march to March,
sing a tune to March
dance a dance to March,
risk a prance to March,
strut and grind and do
a break dance to March.
Hop, skip and jump to March,
just like a the girl I used to be,
once upon a time in March,
when my cheeks had high colour
and my hopes were high.

I Dreamt, I Dreamt Of Poppies

I dreamt, I dreamt of poppies
Growing wild in yonder field
They were blooming red and wonderful
Like a dancer, laced and frilled

Fluttering in the sunshine
Like waves of autumn grain
Or a rolling sea…majestic
As a queen in summer reign

I dreamt, I dreamt of poppies
What a glorious display
In a blaze that flamed the skyline
Of a desert far away

I couldn't see the reason
Yet, they flourished in the sand
When all around was barren
In this brutal foreign land

I dreamt, I dreamt of poppies
Like a ribbon drawn in blood
A slash on the horizon
In a soulless evil flood

The sky was dark and eerie
And smoke had filled the air
The atmosphere, chaotic
With shouting everywhere

I dreamt, I dreamt of poppies
In a garden by a stream
The blooms were bold, were beautiful
More vibrant than a dream

Aside a marble stone
Where hand to heart I wept
For the soul that lay in slumber
Beneath the sod he slept

You March On

You, unknown traveller of untreaded path
march on, march on, march on
will reach your destination
one day
though far off
march on, march on, march on.

Look back, never, even by mistake
forget, never, the hardships you bore
guide, will be your past deeds of life,
full of pangs on the bed of stake
What holds destiny?
Not to worry?
............Just march on, march on, march on.

Adversities make you a fast learner
Desires are snakes, so be a shirker
search the deep sea to find a pearl
get to the shore, while facing the whirl

Think never to be feeble & meek
deliver everyone from the misdeeds
while truth you seek
clear all hurdles regaining your strength
you will reach the destination
march on...march on....march on.

Carve out your name on the horizon
as your stars are on the ascendant
work towards the goal night and day
be illuminated in such a way
sluggish should appear the milky way

You, unknown traveller of untreaded path
march on, march on, march on
will reach your destination
one day
though far off
march on, march on, march on.
