Babylon 5 is probably the biggest, most ambitious television science fiction series ever made. It's one big novel told over five years with 110 different stories told within it.

Science Fiction Woman
She was my science fiction woman,
I was her science fiction man,
Yet our love was no fiction
In our science fiction land.
I wore my science fiction spacesuit,
She wore a spacesuit just like mine,
While we were floating together
In our science fiction minds.
She said her name was Taylor Trippy-
A flower child light years beyond-
She was a science fiction hippy-
A spacey and vivacious blonde.
She told me of our global warming,
Greenhouse gases, acid rain,
She told me everything I know
About the structure of the brain.
So we cruised through constellations
In our science fiction ship,
Transcending time and generations-
Forever free, forever hip.
She came from some unknown planet
In some uncharted galaxy,
And we were both kindred souls
In our cosmic fantasy.
And I don't know how I knew her
Or how we came to meet that night-
She was my science fiction woman,
Who traveled at the speed of light.
At night I look upon the ocean,
The distant stars where she might be-
She was my science fiction woman,
Who set my heart forever free.

My old English buddy, John Rackham, wrote and told me what made science fiction different from all other kinds of literature - science fiction is written according to the science fiction method.

Stories
when we were young stories were told
That I'd kiss you sweet like
People said there was a connection between us
Now that we're old stories are told
Of how I hold you tight
Whenever I see those people I tell them they were right
Stories will be told
From when our children are young
until they're old
About our endless love
We must have had a blessing from above
Stories will be told until we're old
Stories will be told until the end of time
Stories will be told until we're old
Stories will be told until the end of time
Until the sun won't rise
Oh

Your Biggest Mistake
What do you think inside your head
I want to know
Do you think this
Could end up breaking you
You life is a time bomb
Set to explode
You talk out your ass
And everyone knows
For once you should listen
Or care what i think
Or I'll be gone before you can blink
Everyones told you
Over and over again
You're making the biggest mistake of your life
Everyones told you
Everyone you left behind
You're making the biggest mistake of you life
Everyone knows that
Your afraid of missing out
And I know that its hard for you
To swallow down
The while world you've vreated
Is set to explode
You lie throught you teeth
And everyone knows
For once you should listen
Or care what I think
Or you'll stay stuck in the web your trapped in
Everyones told you
Over and over again
You're making the biggest mistake of your life
Everyoes told you
Everyone you left behind
You're making the biggest mistake of your life
Its a chance
You should take
And I know that its not
An easy one to make
You should trust the ones
That are closest to you
Everyones told you
Over and over again
You're making the biggest mistake of your life
Everyone told you
Everyone you left behind
You're making the biggest mistake of your life
(Your life)
The biggest mistake of your life

Individual science fiction stories may seem as trivial as ever to the blinder critics and philosophers of today - but the core of science fiction, its essence has become crucial to our salvation if we are to be saved at all.

Science Fiction is not just about the future of space ships travelling to other planets, it is fiction based on science and I am using science as my basis for my fiction, but it's the science of prehistory - palaeontology and archaeology - rather than astronomy or physics.

You see, I was told stories, we were all told stories as kids in Nigeria. We had to tell stories that would keep one another interested, and you weren't allowed to tell stories that everybody else knew. You had to dream up new ones.
History?
Has history taught us nothing
but tales and ancient lies?
All wrapped up in stories
not told us by the wise?
Told by the vicars who consecrated death
Told by the rulers
with power in their breath.
Passed on in written words
in books the masses read,
never questioned, never disputed
in the minds they lead.
Slanted stories still present
right to our present day.
Foes of peace seen as heroes
in ungodly ways
and as we live the history writers
will pen each blazing act
as benificent for these difficult times,
more fiction than true fact.
So those who follow in our steps
will read our history book
and what they read will be fantasy
with a different look.

You Told Me
By michael nesmith
You told me youd always stay, you told me!
You told me youd never stray, you told me!
All these things you said you said sincerely.
Still I am leaving you in spite of what you told me.
Ive heard things that did not match what you told me.
And of your love that would not last as you told me.
Forwarned is forearmed, it hurts, Im leaving.
I may be wrong I cant love what Im just hearing.
Times have made me shy
Of all the things youre saying
Time have made me shy
Of girls and all the games they are playing.
Someday I may see the truth of what you told me.
I may find I left too soon and that you told me.
Only things that you were honestly feeling.
I must have more to love than what you told me.
Yes, I must have more to love than what you told me.
Yes, I must have more to love than what you told me.

Biggest Lie
I'm waiting for the train
The subway that only goes one way
The stupid thing that'll come to pull us apart
and make everybody late
You spent everything you had
wanted everything to stop that bad
Now I'm a crash credit card registered to Smith
not the name that you call me with
You turned white like a saint
but I'm tired of dancing on a pot of gold flake paint
oh we're so very precious, you and I
and everything you do, maked me want to die
oh, I just told the biggest lie
I just told the biggest lie
the biggest lie

Throw Away Your Television
Throw away your television
Time to make this clean decision
Master waits for it's collision now
It's a repeat of a story told
It's a repeat and it's getting old
Throw away your television
Make a break big intermission
Recreate your super vision now
It's a repeat of a story told
It's a repeat and it's getting old
[Chorus:]
Renegades with fancy gauges
Slay the plague for it's contagious
Pull the plug and take the stages
Throw away your television now
Throw away your television
Take the noose off your ambition
Reinvent your intuition now
It's a repeat of a story told
It's a repeat and it's getting old
[Chorus]
Throw away your television
Salivate to repetition
Levitate this ill condition now
It's a repeat

Before Believing
(danny flowers)
Winter summer seasons is taken over its quiet
Like new fallen snow
I told you summer stories but outside is getting mighty cold
I told you everything I could about me
Told you everything I could
How would you feel if the world was falling apart around you
Pieces of the sky were falling in your neighbors yard
But not on you
Wouldnt you feel just a little bit funny
Think maybe theres something you oughta do
Solutions that never lay down before you the answers are all around
Believing is all the friend you need to talk to
Believing in you
I told you everything I could about me
Told you everything I could
I told you everything I could about me
Told you everything I could

An adventure unlike anything on your planet

We had access to too many, uh, too much money
Too much equipment, and little by little we went insane
Fiery the angels fell...burning in the fires of orc

People get on a show and they fought tooth and nail. Almost 95% of the actors out there want to be on a television series. Then as soon as they get onto one, no, no, I want to be a movie star. This television series stuff, no, no no.

Still Here Next to Me
The days we spent together
Were the best day ever
But you're still here next to me
The stories you told me
Were the best stories I have ever heard
But you're still next to me
You were my best friend
I told you everything
But you're still here next to me
You are gone now
That I have to learn
But you're still here next to me
I want to say hi
I love you
Goodbye
But you're still here next to me
But you're still here next to me
So have a safe trip
Because I know you're gone now
But you're still here next to me

He Told Me I Was Beautiful
He told me I was Beautiful,
And I was feeling so alone...
He told me I was Beautiful,
It was such a serious tone.
He told me I was Beautiful,
It must be a curse word!
He told me I was Beautiful,
And made sure that I heard.
He told me I was Beautiful,
And that he wanted to keep me.
He Told me I was Beautiful,
I felt trapped and wanted to flee.
He told me I was Beautiful,
But I do not love him.
He told me I was Beautiful,
You know what?
I really don't care....
Because when he kissed me,
I wished I wasn't there.

Should Never Have Told Me
You should have never told me
That you love me
You should have never told me, told me, told me
That you care
Ever since that day I saw your lovely face
You were on my mind
I knew that one day I would make you love me
It was just a matter of time
Every night and every day, girl
Im thinking of you
Girl, I cant believe youre mine
Way you kiss, youre right on time
Should have never told me
That you love me
You should have never told me, told me, told me
That you care
If by chance I owned the whole world
Id give it to you
All im trying to say
Love you through and through
Girl, lets stay together for life
cause you are my sugar and spice
Should have never told me
That you love me
You should have never told me, told me, told me
That you care
Naw, baby
Oh, baby
Should have never told me
That you love me
Should have never told me, told me, told me
That you care
Should have never told me
That you love me
Should have never told me, told me, told me
That you care
Should have never told me
That you love me
