I have no idea why I write. The old standards are: I like to express my feelings, stretch my imagination, earn money.

This Day And Age

A dog that has no heart
A dog that shows no heart
This day and age
That dog will have his day.
The ones who take your money
The faceless and the cunning. This day and age
We're all such easy prey.
They aren't worth the money that they earn
They don't deserve the money that they earn.
You fit the demographic
If cash burns a hole in your pocket.
This day and age the con men Have it made.
Dollar (5x)
Check the flavor hear me holler.
This day and age
Respect is what you're paid.
They aren't worth the money that they earn
They don't deserve the money that they earn.

A writer

Out of what, does a writer write?
Out of hatred, out of denial,
Out of failure, out of perversion,
Out of insult or out of neglect.

Why does a writer write?
To vent his anger, anguish and agony.
To bend his feelings in catharsis.

From what does he write?
From borrowings, being inspired,
Or pouring old wine into a new bottle.

For what purpose does he write?
For an applause, to show his skills
And to earn a place and money.

Why at all must he write?
For an idler, what else can he do?

What lacks in one’s writing?
His concern for you lacks.
Your vow to pursue it lacks.

He writes and forgets
You read and forget.
When you are gone and when he is gone
The relevance to his writings is gone.
Bubbles are formed and burst.

Diary

There is someone who is there.
Someone who is near me.
And that is my Diary.
I can write my feelings through words.

I can express my thoughts,
Whenever I see my Diary.
I feel like writing not reading.
Starting from day and ending in night.

Whenever I get time.I will write.
Diary starts with letter D.
Feelings starts with letter F.
IF I bring this together.
It will be Deep feelings.

The More I Worry About Money

THE MORE I WORRY ABOUT MONEY

The more I worry about money
The more I worry about money-
Life has to change
I have to do something to earn some money
I am already too old for most things
I perhaps can be a caregiver again
A minimum salary for too much time lost-

The more I worry about money
The more I know I must do something
What will I do?
I will write a poem about worrying about money
And maybe perhaps after I have delayed it as long as possible
Go again to work long hours for a minimal sum

Isn't Money Funny?

Money, money, money
Isn’t it funny?
Some crave for a penny
Some own crores many

When I was younger
I would believe indeed
That money is not all
That we need

But we grow up
And so we learn
That we earn to live
And live to earn

Food, clothing and shelter
Is not everything we require
These things even
A beggar does acquire

I thought all we need
Is love and friends
And our search
For happiness there ends

But in this world
Nothing comes for free
To win these too
Money holds the key

Money the only god,
Earning the only prayer
Spending the only religion,
It’s the only thing we care.

Money! !

Oh money!
Money, money, money! !
That day, oh money;
For how long should i wait for you to visit me?

Money rules and money is for power,
And the lack of money had made many to fall;
But the dead know nothing about you again.

Many have fallen due to the lack of money,
But my love is for the fish of the sea!
And to examine and observe the birds of the air;
But i am still waiting for my freedom on this earth.

My mind is with an idea and i want to express myself,
But to a world full of wars and less peace;
So what can i do without you oh money? !

The world is cast off and it is defiled,
And with dead men walking around us always to share with us;
But for how long should i wait for you oh money? ! !

Oh money, wher are you?
Where is your dwelling place so that i can visit you?
For i have to observe and examine you well when i do find you.

I’m a busy man, I earn as I can

I’m a busy man, I earn as I can
Never bother who created man
I enjoy life as I can
People tell me, Get up early
I sleep late,
So go to hell
I’m a busy man, I earn as I can
Somewhere I read,
pray to god
I don’t have any time for that
I’m a busy man, I earn as I can
Mother says take care of health
I say most important is wealth
I’m a busy man, I earn as I can
Preachers preach,
Never be phony, Live honestly
I say fool as many
Being honest is being lousy
I’m a busy man, I earn as I can
My goal is money
Even if have to kill somebody
Life without money
Is bee without honey
I’m a busy man, I earn as I can
I met with an accident
Nobody lent a helping hand
I realized, I was disliked
I thought with all the might
To make life happy
One has to live rightly
Greed is worst for life
With it one can never rise
I’m a changed man
Contentment is my ambition
Now, I never earn as I can

I Write And I Will Always Write

i write not because i want to be famous
fame has its own place to take care of itself

i write not because i want to educate
people educate themselves and most of them are educated enough

with or without me
with or without my poems

i write not because i want to express my feelings
or display all my emotions like some sort of fireworks on the 4th of July

(maybe for quite a time i was that
a man making a ventilation
a fume looking for an opening
a pressure looking for a window
a failure seeking a redemption
a penalty asking for a reprieve
a criminal begging for pardon
a rebel detained and wishing for
pardon...

a ship looking for a destination
an island asking for its own place under the sun
a sigh desperately waiting for the mouth

whatever...

but now i begin to think so deeply
why do i write? and why do i write everyday?

and why poems? why not a novel or a short story?
or an essay on the fate of men
the conflicts within them
the wars that they have to face everyday
their deaths and
resurrections

their erections and negations
the women and their seductions
the world in its glory
history and its memory

i write because i owe my life to poetry
it has saved me from my misfortunes

i write because i want to thank the poems
i write because

i just want to say: thanks,
to express this eternal gratitude
now, that

i am still alive.

Write by Return

Clerk, corresponding,
“Rooster and Comb”,
Here I sit idle
“Thinking of home”;
I must be grafting—
Living to earn,
More correspondence,
“Write by return.”

Clerk in employ of
“Shoddy and Woods”,
Thinks that we have not
Forwarded goods.
Parcel we sent them—
Missing, I learn,
Says in his postscript:
“Write by return.”

Here is another
Letter from Bland—
“Cheque he expected
Isn’t to hand.”
How we forgot it
Cannot discern,
“Forward remittance,
Write by return.”

Here is another—
O how they come?
Treats of a “Bender”
Planned by a chum.
See on the margin,
Big letters: “Burn
After perusal—
Write by return.”

Mail in from England,
Letters for me—
Dear little sweetheart
Over the sea.
“Quite broken-hearted,
O how I yearn
Only to see you. . . .
Write by return.”

One who will “never
Think that I’m bad”
Writes me a letter
Tearful and sad.
Thinks that I’m starving,
Filled with concern,
Sends me some money—
“Write by return.”

Letter from father,
Sent to his son,
“All is forgiven—
Fat calf for one.”
O that I ever
Thought he was stern—
Money for passage—
Write by return.

A Writer’s Block

Sometimes when I listen to a song,
a word or a line in the lyrics
will prompt a poem from me;
I will then sit with pen in hand
and write something
about love and romance.

Another time something I see
will set my imagination aglow
and inspire me to write
a bit of social history.
However, those in a writer’s block
here is a tip from me,
just write about anything
and you will see how quickly
you will set your imagination free.

A Part Of My Life

People write poetry for diverse reasons,
as in poems that describe the yearly seasons.
Poem's can show the love for our mother and father
and you can vent against the boyfriend of your daughter.
You can express your feelings about a day at the beach,
nothing is out of poetry's reach.
Beautiful poetry can make your heart soar
and bring alive days of yore.
It can make king's of old come alive
or make you sad enough to cry.
Poetry can describe angel's performing a celestial dance
or some other circumstance.
Poetry can help a relationship to mend
and it can also help it to end.
I have used poetry to describe a summer day's ice-cream cone
and to express feeling's of being alone.
Poetry will always be a part of my life,
to write of the good and write of the strife.

Just A Blank Page In Front Of Me

I sit here at my desk
trying to figure out a line to write,
inspiration seems to have deserted me tonight.
I hear no strings of love;
feel no emotions deep,
just a blank paper in front of me.
Each word I write seems to stop there,
no further words follow.
I’m in despair.
What happed to the happy words I want to write,
the feelings I want to express?
Gone I’m afraid for tonight.
Let us hope they return
at tomorrows dawning light.

Just For A Day

You have no idea what it’s like
To be the oldest
No idea what it’s like
To be exiled
You have no idea what it’s like
To be unnoticed
No idea what it’s like
To be me
So I suggest you put on my mask
For a while
Just for a year, for a month
For a day
So you can see
What it’s like
To be me
You can finally feel
My positions
Feel your weakness
In times like mine
How your feelings compress
All together
When you don’t say anything,
But hang your head
