I was surprised to see the meeting was of Communists and the whole meeting was along Communist lines.

Meeting Again
Meeting again when time goes fast,
meeting again when time won't last.
A look at the wrist to check the time,
a glance in the mirror to see if I'm
alright from this.
Already I miss the time that will crawl.
Keep the memory alive. You must not fall
into a saddened, depressed state.
You will continue to wait and wait
for a meeting again when time goes fast,
a meeting again that will not last.

Our Meeting Place
I met you here sometime ago
How my whole world changed
My heart raced beyond belief
Oh I felt the sudden change
Our Meeting Place
Forbidden I was to see you
Our ages was too far apart
But I knew deep inside of me
That didn't matter too my heart
Our Meeting Place
Things have passed since then
We somehow both drift away
But when I look on back again
It brings me to those very days
Our Meeting Place

A Chance Encounter A Poem of Love over Hate
Beneath the London landmark of St Martins
A meeting of cartoons and reality surprised me.
Political art broke down the prejudice of either side
Showed the futility of hate in all our lives.
Then the meeting of reality, two faces undistinguishable
We are bereaved women, Palestinian and Jew you choose
Each a victim each in pain a pain so real within their eyes.
This pain had no cultural divide such idiosyncrasies irrelevant
Now they travel the same journey together challenging purists
To look in the mirror of hate and see who is staring back.

I actually thought that it would be a little confusing during the same period of your life to be in one meeting when you're trying to make money, and then go to another meeting where you're giving it away.

I woke up find a rather noisy multi-lingual meeting going on. This was great as everyone could participate and even though everything had to be translated into about four different languages it never became boring. After a while the meeting broke up and everyone went for food.

Peace Meal
Not much difference 'tween a cow and you
Flesh, blood, bones
She cries like you do
Cries like you do
Yours is the hippest hypocritical point of view
Wake up and realise the things that you do
You're busy whipping Hitler cos he gassed so many Jews
You're as guilty of murder - look at what you chew
Everybody's worried 'bout a Third World War
Nuclear annihilation, need I say more?
While you're feasting at the peace meeting
Feasting at the peace meeting
Wake up!
Flesh, blood, bones
Peace on earth and goodwill to all men
The lower species we will condemn
While we're feasting at the peace meeting
Feasting at the peace meeting
She cries like you do
Cries like you do
She cries like you do
She cries like you do oo oo oo !!

Part 10 of Trout Fishing in America
WITNESS FOR TROUT FISHING
IN AMERICA PEACE
In San Francisco around Easter time last year, they had a
trout fishing in America peace parade. They had thousands
of red stickers printed and they pasted them on their small
foreign cars, and on means of national communication like
telephone poles.
The stickers had WITNESS FOR TROUT FISHING IN AM-
ERICA PEACE printed on them.
Then this group of college- and high-school-trained Com-
munists, along with some Communist clergymen and their
Marxist-taught children, marched to San Francisco from
Sunnyvale, a Communist nerve center about forty miles away.
It took them four days to walk to San Francisco. They
stopped overnight at various towns along the way, and slept
on the lawns of fellow travelers.
They carried with them Communist trout fishing in Ameri-
ca peace propaganda posters:
"DON'T DROP AN H-BOMB ON THE OLD FISHING HOLE I"
"ISAAC WALTON WOULD'VE HATED THE BOMB!"
"ROYAL COACHMAN, SI! ICBM, NO!"
They carried with them many other trout fishing in Amer-
ica peace inducements, all following the Communist world
conquest line: the Gandhian nonviolence Trojan horse.
When these young, hard-core brainwashed members of
the Communist conspiracy reached the "Panhandle, " the
emigre Oklahoma Communist sector of San Francisco, thou-
sands of other Communists were waiting for them. These
were Communists who couldn't walk very far. They barely
had enough strength to make it downtown.
Thousands of Communists, protected by the police, marched
down to Union Square, located in the very heart of San Fran-
cisco. The Communist City Hall riots in 1960 had presented
evidence of it, the police let hundreds of Communists escape,
but the trout fishing in America peace parade was the final
indictment: police protection.
Thousands of Communists marched right into the heart of
San Francisco, and Communist speakers incited them for
hours and the young people wanted to blow up Colt Tower, but
the Communist clergy told them to put away their plastic
bombs.
"Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should
do to you, do ye even so to them . . . There will be no need
for explosives, " they said.
America needs no other proof. The Red shadow of the
Gandhian nonviolence Trojan horse has fallen across Ameri-
ca, and San Francisco is its stable.
Obsolete is the mad rapist's legendary piece of candy. At
this very moment, Communist agents are handing out Witness
for trout fishing in America peace tracts to innocent children
riding the cable cars.

The Meeting
(anderson / howe / wakeman / bruford)
Surely I could tell
When I sleep tonight
A dream will call
And raise its head in majesty
Dividing all my energy
To the meeting of your love
Where from whence it came
Like a singer searching for a song
I try to reach where you belong
As I will be the song for you
I will be your servant child
No, oh no
I cannot be deceived
No, oh no
Theres something
That I feel
Theres something that I feel inside
Surely I could tell
If you ask me lord
To board the train
My life my love would be the same
As I could be the one for you
In the meeting of your love
In the meeting of your love

Missed the meeting, missed the meeting
Where my friends discussed why
I'm not around, i'm not around
You say i don't know who my real friends are
All i know is my real friends aren't
Talking behind my back, talking behind my back
Chorus:
Assuming things before they even ask me
Why i'm not behaving like i should
In their mind's eye, but they don't even know me
And i don't think they ever could
Missed the meeting, missed the meeting
Where my friends discussed why
I'm not around, i'm not around
If it's really important for you to say
Then you can say it to my face
Stop hiding out, stop hiding out
(chorus)
Maybe you fear what you don't know
And it hurts too much just to let it g

The Meeting Place
Meet you in the secret place
Scuffling in the dirt I wait
Whistle will blow, whistle will blow,
Share a joke the laughs on me
But when I get you on your own well see
Someone might hear, someone might hear
Youre a working girl now
Youve got money of your own
Hmmm the meeting place
Hmmm the meeting place
Strolling under grimey skies
Machines that make you kiss in time
Smoke on your breath, smoke on your breath
Chimney never looked so good
Never looked the way it should
From lying in the bracken wood
Coat on the ground, coat on the ground
Take a walk down the lane
Well be late back again
Hmmm the meeting place
Hmmm the meeting place

Love Meeting Love
Im so nice - making love
Together were as one - in a time
We have found our way - to another day
So tonight well stay
Jungled us - we cry
Never yours and mine
Love meeting love say baby
Take my soul
Being in this place - to the night
Hoping in your arms - and take me in
And well start again
Moving to the park - sepry our design
Love meeting love youh youh
(interlude)
And floating - lost in love
The world is all they want - next to mine
Time is standing still - for you end me
So silently
Talking in there eyes - knowing your goodbyes
Love meeting love yeah yeah

There was a very serious communist strain among American intellectuals before the war. America was a more tolerant place in those days, and Communists were not treated as pariahs. That ended with the McCarthy era.
