The Beauty Of The Sky
Beauty of the sky, is the richness of the blue.
Deepness of the sky, is the richness of the red.
Darkness of the sky, is the richness of the black.
Freshness of the sky, is the richness of the rain.
Glimpses of the sky, is the richness of the stars.
Smile of the sky, is the richness of the moon.
Sparks of the sky, is the richness of the lighting.
Beauty of the sky, is the richness of the clouds...

Books Of Color
autumn leaves falling
in slow spirals to the ground...
books of color and richness,
turning brown, waiting on sleep.
the sea of hungry human faces,
reaching out through the darkness...
books of color and richness,
turning brown, waiting on sleep.
the souls of the weary
fall like tiny flakes of snow
covering the stillness with hope....
for a new spring,
new books of color and richness....
from the seeds of memory
of those that have gone before!

Color of Change
Red is the color of passion
the color of love
the color of hate
the color of anger
and the color of regret
purple is the color of richness
of happiness
Black is the color of emptiness
Of shame
and of sadness
where is the color of change
Is it between the red and black?
or between the purple and black?
somewhere between the happiness and emptiness
somewhere between the love and the sadness
i believe change is orange
straying away from the dark colors leading towards the red and purple

Color Me
I wish that they would color me
The color of the rose
The color of the spring
Or the color of the snow.
If again they’d color me
The color that I would be
Would be the color I could see
As long as I am free.
As I wish that they would color me
The color of the trees
Or the color of the leaves
And then that color I would be.
I wish that I was a rainbow
With the many colors of the sky
Or the single color of a star
Shimmering in the night.
And if again they would color me
The color that I would be
Would be the color that is me
Is the color that I could see.

Appearances
What's in the color of your skin?
Just the body that you're in.
A body that has all the same organs
of everybody that's ever been.
Isn't it amazing how we've been taught
to believe that we're different.
Sure we're different in our appearances
right down to our thumbprint.
But again that thumbprint is just skin,
not the character and not the hope.
And there's the beauty in the differences
like the colors of a kaleidoscope.
We are all striving for fairness and joy
whether we were born a girl or a boy.
The ignorance that surrounds all the bigots
is a lack of intelligence they employ
in viewing color,
in demeaning color,
in blaming color,
in labeling color,
in dehumanizing color.
For all of their own inadequacies and guilt
in not allowing themselves to see the sameness
in how we all are built.

What Color? (Hope)
what color
was the dust
from which the stars
were made?
what color is the hunger
written on the child's face?
what color is justice,
forgiveness, desire, truth?
what color is the wind....
the rain, gravity,
and knowledge?
what color is equality?
what color is freedom?
what color is eternity?
what color is redemption?
what color is God?
what color were the nails
that hung Jesus on the cross?
what color was enlightenment
falling on the Buddha as he sat
'neath that tree?
what color is prejudice, hatred,
fear, greed, apathy.....
what color your skin?
nay, what color is your blood?
and what color are the eyes
of humanity staring through the darkness?
and what color is hope?

When Death Is Survival
The last of your family is
Gone. You are now alone to contemplate
Motionless sands or sere waves
In deep purple, crying oceans
To turn the tide of what could
Have been.
No family. No friends.
Just the bellyache of a vast hunger
For richness of thought,
For a dream of clear vision.
The rocks are one color alone.
You are one color alone as well.
Might as well join them.
There is no heaven or hell.

Not Like Any Other Color
This is no joke
This is no egg-yoke
Black is not like any other color
Black has its unique beauty
Its own charm and splendor
It is the color of the reality
It is the absence of the sun
It is the exile of the moon
Black is the last color
That we will see before crossing the border.
Black can be positive
Or negative
Depending on someone’s perception
Interest or observation
Because of ignorance
And lack of experience
Many neophytes unfortunately use that color
As a scapegoat, as a traitor
Who can stab in the groin or in the back
Charcoal is black, coffee is black.
At times, it may not be apparent
Black is beautiful and different
It is the color of the night
It is the absence of light
It is the last color
That we will see before crossing the border
Where no color exists afterwards
Where there are no sounds, no words
No opinions, no aroma and no prejudice
There live absolute serenity and peace.

Small Trees
I am little like the small trees,
These are at least bigger than flowering plants,
The richness of theirs is far superior to us.
Since they are richer and we are taller,
The magnificent colours shine as they do.
Greenness is our nature as trees,
Whilst they are always colourful
More than us.
The tree of bigness is a lethal organ,
One we sit by and watch growing older.
Then the small trees subjugate the other trees
Far smaller, but we are supposed to respect
The bigger trees, they are certainly not the biggest.
The best of us are longer in health,
Whilst I am little for I am a small tree.

A wold made of pink
It's just a new obsession
A color which makes me go insane
Pink is not any kind of fiction
Pink always helps me gain
Faith, confidence and everything I need
Trust, joy and a bit of laughter
This color helps me succeed
Pink is the color of my eyes
Only when I look at you
Pink makes me an angel in disguise
It's the color which brings joy to me and my crew
Pink is a color so mighty, so great
Pink is the color my face
Turns when I'm late
Pink is the color which nothing can replace
It's the color which I can't stop thinking of
Neither day nor night
Pink symbolizes my love
Pink is the color of the light
Which shines in my heart for you
It's the color of a wonderland
This color shouldn't be withdrew
It's the color of my imaginary sand
Pink is the color my cat wants to be
Pink is the color of the sun which shines
Pink is the color the world can see
Pink is the color which gives me signs

Want-less is richness
Richness is in fewness of wants.
Richness is in paucity of wants.
Massiveness of wealth is not the scale.
Richer is a hermit than a king.

The Color Blue
the color blue is known to do
something strange to you
this time when i say you it is truly the reader
not the one who i love
not the one pure like a dove
the color blue
seems strange in nature just like you
it stimulates dreams without asking anything in return
nor do most dreams it propagates burn
no the color blue is serene
nice and soft like a moisturizing cream
but there is another color
that is not proved by psychology to stimulate dreams
i call it the color black
though the dreams are nightmares they are grouped in the same sack
with dreams akin like brother though more like an evil twin
the color black seems to always win
by bringing out your nightmares and pain
and sometimes your feelings begin to wain
that gives way to apathy
which leads to your becoming a tapestry, a tapestry
of death for this gives way to being dead
because black is everywhere, in every night
anytime there is no light
black is in you and its in me, how is we aren't dead?
in the end the color black has now become like lead
like a poison true nature forgotten we as humans simply say
black symbolizes death for that is the only way
that we console ourselves

Before My Love...
Should the sun cease, marking everyday's dawn,
Then only shall my love for thee be withdrawn;
The Moon would need retreat, as harbinger of night,
Before removed, the song my heart doth recite!
Mountains would need crumble into the vast sea,
As cause, to effect the love I have for thee;
Rivers would need want for flow, water no longer,
Before my love could want for being stronger!
Seasons would need renewal, for lack of annual rebirth,
Before you were not causal to my magnificent mirth;
Nature would need glory, for lack of beauty, now inherent,
Before, from you, my loyal heart would grow errant!
Time would need stop, life too, would need cease,
Before my love would know even slightest decrease!

Thy timid love, a coquette dabbed shy
Thy timid love, a coquette dabbed shy
Thy blue animates, thy emerald jewel
Which plays its color in both thy eye
To the heart of love, of a love named fool
The man I call myself for loving you
With all my sense I follow thy trance
A kaleidoscope of color, my love pursue
Thy eyes that move, thy eyes that dance
But so coy, so tender, so shy, thou art
Never loved, like thy love should be
A vivid beauty shielding a hidden heart
I can see beauty but I cannot find thee
Disclosed behind a veil of blue and green
The shy love of beautiful eyes love's majestic queen.

Nature's Favorite Color
The green foliage is an attractive sight
On the vast landscape on a clear summer day,
As the white daisies gradually unfold along the side
Of a winding roadway that is somber and gray.
It is a picturesque view that one will readily admit,
Blesses the color of green to the greatest height,
And yet it is a scene that enlightens one's mind
With euphoria and great pleasure and delight.
It is not the beauty of the unfolding rose,
Nor the mellow sunflowers near the old mill,
But the color green - Nature's matchless green
On the highlands that gives one a welcomed thrill.
It is beholding of the color of green,
On the growth of leaves on a swaying tree,
And on the landscape far and wide indeed,
As green is Nature's favorite color for all to see.

Lust Vavroovahana Patra
Oh God!
How wondrous is thy Creation!
Ye created a mysterious
Magnificent beautiful Earth,
In all the animates human beings, animals and
Plants created mirth.
Endowed the Earth with
Beautiful blossoms, foliages
and flowers;
Ye fulfilled through Nature,
the human creatures’ desires.
Ye created ascetics, saints, hermits in the lap of Nature;
Oh Alas!
The saints become monsters,
Sleeping on the bed of luxury in palatial
Buildings, hankering after women and wine,
health and wealth being slave to lust,
fulfil the transient desire for a little pleasure.
Oh Lord Siva!
Thy creation cries with cruelty and tension,
Poet’s pen tutters for a beautiful depiction.
Oh God!
The world runs after wealth,
Human beings entangle in corruption;
In each family
Reigns misunderstanding, corruption & tension.
Population growth is rampant,
One hundred and twenty one corers of people live in India
Without peace and tranquillity,
In people’s mind pervades
No delight, gaiety, sanctity, serenity & purity.

What Is 'It' That Keeps This
Azure is the color of the clear sky.
And I wonder what in the atmosphere,
Keeps it blue like this...
And when the Sun comes to set,
The blue leaves on the horizon...
With magnificent hues,
That takes away breaths.
And when the moon is full,
At night with stars twinkling bright...
A quietness seems to hush,
All that the Sun rises to rush to us...
At dawn to bring daylight,
Silently with a gentle touch.
Many observing in the morning,
Have come to love so much this touch!
What is 'it' that keeps this,
So fresh and renewed?
What is 'it' that keeps this,
As if to gift me and you!
Azure is the color of the clear sky.
And I wonder what in the atmosphere,
Keeps it blue like this...
And when the Sun comes to set,
The blue leaves on the horizon...
With magnificent hues,
That takes away breaths.
What is 'it' that keeps this,
So fresh and renewed?
What is 'it' that keeps this,
As if to gift me and you!

Nature has made the bark brown
Nature has made the bark brown
My man, my man
Nature has made the birds black
My man, my man
Nature has made the dirt dark
My man, my man.
Nature made the color of your skin
My man, my man.
