Luck seeks those who flee and flees those who seek it.
Seek & You Will Find
You been laying it on the line
Too much fat to burn
You been stuck on a course
While the world around you turns
You been out in the rain
But babe, oh the sun still shines
Well you might walk through a cloud
Seek and you will find
Seek and you will find
Its like treading on thin ice
Hot stones in your shoes
Well you know the world can blow your mind
Unless you got the guts to cut the fuse
You been out on the streets
And babe how the road does wind
Well you might look straight ahead
Seek and you will find
Seek and you will find (seek and you will find)
You been out on a limb
And so many mountains to climb
Well you just might be sitting on a rainbow, honey
Seek and you will find
Seek and you will find

From This City I Want To Escape (Free Verse Quatern)
From this city I want to flee,
to find a place of some solace,
not again I want to return,
where city lights sometimes blind people.
I still think about how it was,
from this city I want to flee,
I cannot fit in this anthill,
a bridge to escape, I must find.
The city makes me uneasy,
I want to wander on the beach,
from this city I want to flee,
I want to vanish by bus or train.
Now I splash in a city stream,
at times are in the open air,
about freedom I can just dream,
from this city I want to flee.

She flees from me (in answer to Sir Thomas Wyatt)
She flees from me
who at a time did my company seek
who once loved me tenderly,
now is wild like a tigress,
are totally without remembering,
does not grasp the love that I hold for her
and I am not dreaming,
but she has turned my gentleness into wild rage
by her strange forsaking, by the change in her
and now she is totally different
from what she used to be
and treats me like rubbish
forgetting about the many times
that we had kissed and made promises
and when I let her go,
go into the wild world
as yet another beast, it serves her well.

Seek
Seek and you will find
the glory of the divine,
seek and you shall see
the world and all its glory,
seek and you will feel
love’s arrow pierce your heart.
Seek and whatever you seek
will one day be yours,
but you must want it enough
to seek it out and find
the hidden dreams
that lay within your mind.

Hide & Seek
When Im looking here and there,
And Im searchin everywhere to find your love
But you play so hard to get
And I havent found out yet where you are.
Youll never find
Just what you got.
Here I come.
Ready or not.
Hide and seek.
Its just a game we play.
Hide and seek.
Swear I gotta find you.
Sneakin up behind you.
Hide and seek.
When I tried so hard to see
How you keep this mystery around our love
Every simple breath you take
Always makes the love we make seem so new
Youre up to your
Old tricks again.
I close my eyes
And count to ten.
Hide and seek.
Its just a game we play.
Hide and seek.
Swear I gotta find you.
Sneakin up behind you.
Hide and seek.
Hi hi hi hide.
Youll never find just what you got.
Here I come.
Ready or not.
Hide and seek.
Its just a game we play.
Hide and seek.
Swear I gotta find you.
Sneakin up behind you.
Hide and seek.
Hide and seek.
Its just a game we play.
Hide and seek.
Swear I gotta find you.
Sneakin up behind you.
Hide and seek.
Hide and seek.
Hide and seek.

Hide and seek.
Hide and seek.
Swear I gotta find you.

We Who....
we who would seek a home,
find our home with the homeless.
we who seek truth,
know the tree to be a tree!
we who seek liberty,
throw all that we own onto the fire.
we who seek love,
feed the hungry.
we who seek companionship,
simply become dialogue...
we who would seek god,
well, all of the above.
we who seek tomorrow,
give today to a stranger...
and wrap his feet up
with our dreams!

Exodus
They flee this place
They all call home
In hundreds
To a place where
Everyone is a stranger,
Where everything is strange
They say they seek refuge
They seek for a better life
Even though they are being
Treated as refuse.

Where Is She?
I seek for love but,
Nowhere to find her;
I seek for peace but,
Nowhere to find her;
Like the best designs in my bathroom,
I will keep on seking till i find her.
Misunderstanding and mislead,
Who can appreciate my loneliness?
Invite me to your party and feel my heart beat,
I am the captain of your true love;
So tell me if you are the one.
I have a dream! !
And my dream is to seek for you my love;
Tell me if you are the one.
Have you seen her?
Where is she?
Tell me if you are closer to me;
I seek to know where you are,
I will keep on seeking till i find you.
I seek only for your love,
Feel my heart beat and know how i care;
I am the captain of your love and,
I will keeep on seeking till i find you.

Who flees from a wolf will find a bear with two sons instead.
Denied
Why am I denied
the voice that I seek,
the words I seek to conquer
and the hearts I wish to sway?
Why am I denied
the hugs of friendship
and the harbouring glow
that comes with peace of mind?
Where must I go
to find the desires
that my heart yearns.
Where must I go
to find the place
where I will not be denied?
How far do I have to travel
for the refuge I seek?

Catalyst
Distress is the catalyst of Change
Provoking a nagging unease
To seek out resolving range,
As it births metamorphosis
For the searching, questioning Soul.
When the vagaries of teachings block,
The light of Experience makes him whole
For those who seek will find his Rock
On solid ground, and there create
The fire of Strength, the beacon of Wisdom.
For everyone who asks opens the gate
And Truth will enter...it will surely come!
'If you seek Me, you will find Me, if you seek Me with all your heart and with all your soul. '

Commanding The Enemy
In these ways we command the enemy to be cut
Away from messages to do with God;
These foul people cheerfully seek birds of conversation
To do their talking according to the ways of an action.
One bird flies to a branch of gold,
And another flees to the branches of silver,
And another reaches the very height of the tree.
The ways of the enemy are above us in power,
Relentless and swaying like a giant tree of birds,
Competing and never deserting, towards flight.
The real trek staggered the birds of conversation,
For those who seek to betray the community are lost.

No Matter Where You Look, You Always Find Something
at the start you find things with your hand
the baby that grabs whatever and takes it to his mouth
we begin that way
always
then we are fed up with our hands
we begin to take things with our minds
we read and we make the immovable move
we imagine
we stretch our minds that far enough
until we bleed
it is not the usual blood that we see dripping
it is not thick and red at all
it is the dripping of pain
our hands have become failures
our minds are shortcomings
our feet drag and stamp and wanting to go
we look for something that we do not know
we have this premise
when we knock the door shall be opened
when we ask so we shall receive
when we seek soon shall we find
we found something in the flesh
and we feel so disappointed
we try to find something for our soul
and we feel this despair
cramped in the room
we think some more on that premise
seek, seek, and seek
perhaps we shall find......

Seeking God
God desires us to faithfully love and seek Him out
To pray and discover His Divine Will.
The wicked and the selfish never find God
For they depend on self to provide and fulfill.
'Those who diligently seek me will find me.'
For God is just and only does what's right.
He blesses us despite our sins of the past
As we seek His forgiveness by day or night.
God controls everything we love, need and desire
He cares too much to let us get away with sin.
We must live our lives in total submission
And by watching His works, we begin!
song - The Primrose and the Knife
Whilst onward flows the River Cart
And forward flees time’s silent dart
The loves and hopes o’ men abide
As constant as the throbbing tide
Oor tenure here is fleeting tho’
Brief as the swirlin’ flake o’ snow
An’ dreams, oh dreams, they carry us
Beyond the stars, then bury us
The future’s sweet talk turns tae snash
A moment precious, then we’re ash
We walk a tightrope through this life
Between the primrose and the knife
Between the eagle and the louse
Between the vixen and the yowes
We’re in the wind, we’re in the wave
Bright as sunlight, dark as the cave
I’ve worn the holy cross of love
I’ve drawn the killing arrow back
I’ve seen the eagle flee the dove
And paradise rise out of ash
An’ from the dust and from the sky
We carve our truth, we shape the lie
An’ weave ourselves some kind o’ sense
Beyond the gates of innocence
And noo I’m neither bold nor blind
I’m stuck here on the path that’s lined
We dared the music way back when
And I jigged all the wrong steps then
I left you standing on the shore
But now it’s clear, the ceilidh’s o’er
Yet there’s a certain sweetness in
The thought that we might meet again
Tae sit an laugh at might have beens
When we were special in oor teens
Or maybe yince I’ll catch your eye
An’ yin o' us will chance a “hi”.
I’ve worn the holy cross of love
I’ve drawn the killing arrow back
I’ve seen the eagle flee the dove
And paradise rise out of ash
Whilst onward flows the River Cart
And forward flees time’s silent dart
The loves and hopes o’ men abide
As constant as the throbbing tide
Oor tenure here is fleeting tho’
Brief as the swirlin’ flake o’ snow
An’ dreams, oh dreams, they carry us
Beyond the stars, then bury us
I’ve worn the holy cross of love
I’ve drawn the killing arrow back
I’ve seen the eagle flee the dove
And paradise rise out of ash

She Flees From Me (Cavatina Sequence)
(after Sir Thomas Wyatt)
She flees from me in her iniquity,
are very wild
as if I have brought her some kind of harm,
but only mild
I treat this forsaking newfangleness,
still like a child
I do trust that our love will overcome
that I will eventually lead her home.
There was a time of some ultimate joy
when in sweet bliss
her clothes from her entire body did fall,
where a sweet kiss
was an innermost kind of opening,
and now there’s this
sudden kind of strange change in her mind,
to her I have been only very kind.

Inspiration
Not like a daring, bold, aggressive boy,
Is inspiration, eager to pursue,
But rather like a maiden, fond, yet coy,
Who gives herself to him who best doth woo.
Once she may smile, or thrice, thy soul to fire,
In passing by, but when she turns her face,
Thou must persist and seek her with desire,
If thou wouldst win the favor of her grace.
And if, like some winged bird she cleaves the air,
And leaves thee spent and stricken on the earth,
Still must thou strive to follow even there,
That she may know thy valor and thy worth.
Then shall she come unveiling all her charms,
Giving thee joy for pain, and smiles for tears;
Then shalt thou clasp her with possessing arms,
The while she murmurs music in thine ears.
But ere her kiss has faded from thy cheek,
She shall flee from thee over hill and glade,
So must thou seek and ever seek and seek
For each new conquest of this phantom maid.
