The Plain Citizen Of The Republic

the government for sure
cannot survive without you plain citizen

you are taxed
that is the most certain thing that happens in your life
as plain citizen
of this republic

the property that you own
is subject to confiscation

from womb to tomb
you, plain citizen is bound with a lot of other
responsibilities

you make them rich
and give them power
you let them stay for more
than expected and they all laugh
like mad men

you do not make a stir
on the fold
the law chases you just in case
and the prison cell is crowded

so plain citizen of the republic
be good
lick them
as they suck you
pamper them
as they spare you

plain citizen you sell your right to be king
in this republic
now you sit there
and you will be next!

Model Citizen

Be an Arab
Be a Jew
Be a boxing
Kangaroo
Beat yourself
All black and blue
I don't care
Be a bleeder
Be a Cancer
A hemophiliac
Romancer
Be a crippled disco
Dancer
Oooh... What a pair
He's a model citizen
I think I've got them fooled them again
He's an ultra-sweety guy
And a master of disguise
He's a model citizen
Just keep believing that my friends
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm an all American!!!
I'm a hostage
In a city of creeps
They've got mercenary guards
That watch me sleep
They'd like to kill me slow
Bury me deep
In the heart of Texas
I'm a martyr
I'm a sadist
I might be the Saviour here to save us
I'm a friend of Sammy Davis, casually
He's a model citizen
I think I've got them fooled again
He's an ultra-sweety guy
I won't let down my disguise
He's a model citizen
Just keep believing that my friends
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm an all American
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm a model citizen
I'm an all American

H.L. Mencken

A sound American is simply one who has put out of his mind all doubts and questionings, and who accepts instantly, and as incontrovertible gospel, the whole body of official doctrine of his day, whatever it may be and no matter how often it may change. The instant he challenges it, no matter how timorously and academically, he ceases by that much to be a loyal and creditable citizen of the republic.

Value in a Coin

Am a coin
under the carpet am swept
am to be missed not
into the street, am thrown
in the summer sun I glint
for days there I lay
am change
change in a 99 discount store
keep change
keep change, I heard you say
cause worthless my value stay
pick me up
pick me up little boy
I heard, coins is what you collect
toss me in that jar
that jar by your window pane
slowly, slowly that jar will fill
in numbers I have the power
the power in a paper note
go buy what you want
cant decide what to get?
heads or tails
will tell what to get

Kill Somebody

This is a rifle, this is a gun
This is for killing and this is for fun
This is a rifle, this is a gun
This is for killing and this is for fun
This is a rifle, this is a gun
This is for killing and this is for fun
This is a rifle, this is a gun
This is for killing and this is for fun
When the boys cry, in the morning light
And they take their guns and leave their girls and step outside
And they all feel blue, ´cause theyre waiting still
For the enemy on the other side theyre going to kill
You better kill somebody, you better kill somebody
You better kill somebody, you better kill somebody
You better kill
When the bombers come, with the rising sun
And the dreams of glory and blue eyed heros all have gone
On the other side sits the enemy
And Im sure he wont invite for a cup of tea

a cairo Street

A Cairo Street

The crack of a rifle shot a man fell to ground,
instantly dead, whatever he was thinking of was
totally eradicated. His friends tried to drag him
away, but a dead body is as inflexible as a bag of
cement. They left him there, on the filthy street,
his open eyes mirrored the terrorized sky.

Citizen

Citizen
A cure to kill the east
A disease of the west
Romance is no escape
But Ill escape you
The manufacturing sound
Complaining to ourselves
Youre cutting up our friends
Making love to our sisters
Another endless day
Another daze
But Im losing track
The train goes off the rails
Dance of the youth
Youth want to dance
Citizen
The tribal war begins
But radios a god
Industrial money
God is industry
Dance of youth
Citizen you know what were after
Know what were after
Know what were after
Citizen
The state that weve come to love
Loves a crime against the state
I hate the sound of bells
Communications lost
Something were after
I hate democracy
One more contact lost
Love
A crime against the state
The state weve come to love
Oh electric candle light
What time is it over there
We got to wear a badge
Were losing track of days
Dance of the youth
Youth want to dance
Citizen
Ill share a room with you
Youre getting so very thin
Did we ask for this
Are you rationing our water
Dance of the youth
Our food is getting cold
And youre getting colder
I see you
Im not so unaware
Citizen
Citizen
An american
Got got a camera
Takes a picture
Citizen
Drum
Citizen
Drum
Citizen
Drum
To drum to drum

Pick It Up Or Be Gone

Pick it up or be gone.
What's given.
Pick it up or be gone.
What's there.
Pick it up or be gone.
The steak.
Or the rake.
Or the keys,
To open the gate!
Now...
Pick it up or be gone.
What's given.
Pick it up or be gone.
What's there.
Pick it up or be gone.
The steak.
Or the rake.
Or the keys,
To open the gate!
Now...
Don't try to imitate,
Homemade cake.
Oh no.
And don't ever try to duplicate,
A delicious taste.
Or...
Butter up faked mashed potatos.

Pick it up or be gone.
What's given.
Pick it up or be gone.
What's there.
Pick it up or be gone.
The steak.
Or the rake.
Or the keys,
To open the gate!
Now...
Pick it up or be gone.
Oooow.
Pick it up or be gone.
Yeah.
Pick it up or be gone.
Now...
Pick it up or be gone!

You Must Change Your Life

Facing up to our responsibilities
And our maturaties
Is not a subject, on which I can preach
(You must change your life)

Setting records straight
Opening yourself wide to possible hate
Being abandoned there at the gate
(You must change your life)

And ages will come to us
And years will fill our heads
With wisdom, caution, an understanding
(You must change your life)

Consumed by love, for your man
To sustain what you've longed to gain
Now that we want the same
(You must change your life)

How can one of their own
Turn around in the family home
And stand to say, 'I don't live alone'
(You must change your life)

There are times that loom
Speak only of a endless doom
When you're in that room, and say
(You must change your life)

But you MUST change your life...

Devil's Deal

I was sold a story with a new beginning,
I missed out the middle and came into an end,
That was told by a man with a different posture,
Turn around and I'll meet you at the end,
I walk along think nothing can touch me
I missed out the car and found myself in hell,
At the gate is a guy says I got a second chance,
Turn around and pick one off the shelf,
I said pick one off the shelf,
Cos I've sold my whole life away,
No more riches or fame,
And all I had to do was change,
I got my change, the right amount, for who I was.
Well listen up Ive got a story to tell you,
Just pick the end you always wanna hear,
But you gotta make sure you pick the right one,
Or else this day will end up living tears.
And I've sold my whole life away,
No more riches or fame,
And all I had to do was change,
I got my change, the right amount, for who I was.
I was sold a story with a new beginning,
I missed out the middle and came into an end,
That was told by a man with a different posture,
Turn around and I'll meet you at the end,
I walk along think nothing can touch me,
I missed out the card and found myself in hell,
At the gate is a guy says I got a second chance,
Turn around and pick one off the shelf,

I got my change, the right amount, for who I was

A BUSH MAN WAS TAKEN TO A CITY AND ON ARRIVAL AT THE CITY HE BEGAN TO STARE AT THE MARVELOUS CONSTRUCTIONS BY THE CITY PEOPLE!

WHAT BE THY ERRAND HERE? AND HOW MUCH HAVE YOU PAID FOR THE SIGHTINGS? HE ASKED THE BAFFLED NATIVE WHO REPLIED, PAID? I DIDN'T THAT I HAD TO PAY TO LOOK AT BUILDINGS! AND THE CONMAN QUICKLY RETORTED! AHA! YOU HAVE COMMITED A CRIME KNOWN AS LOOKERY BY CREDIT! AND IF YOU FAIL TO PAY, YOU WILL EARN A JAIL TERM OF SIX MONTHS! HE STATED AND THE NATIVE SAID, OH PARDON ME SIR, I HAVE ONLY LOOKED AT THREE BUILDINGS! THE CUNNING CITIZEN SPOKE, SAYING, THAT WOULD BE THREE DOLLARS! A DOLLAR FOR A BUILDING! THE NATIVE PAID THE MONEY AND WALKED OFF SMILING MISCHIEVIOUSLY AS HE TOUGHT TO HIMSELF! FOOLISH CITIZEN, I HAVE LOOKED AT ALMOST ALL THE BUILDINGS IN THIS CITY AND I PAID FOR ONLY THREE BUILDINGS!

The Subject On This Love

The subject on this love is an object,
And the object is very sound and beautiful;
The subject on this love is a valley,
And the valley is very quiet and lovely;
The subject on this love is a fruit,
And the fruit is very sound and attractive;
The subject on this love is a mountain,
And the mountain is very high and lonely;
The subject on this love is a river,
And the river is very smooth and slippery;
The subject on this love is a seed,
And the seed is very fruitful and sweet;
The subject on this love is your milk,
And your milk is very thick and sweet;
The subject on this love is your lake,
And your lake is very fresh and aromantic;
The subject on this love is a garden,
And the garden is very thick and bushy;
The subject on this love is a room,
And that room is very romantic and peaceful;
The subject on this love is your apples,
And your apples are very passinate and emotional;
The subject on this love is a tree,
And that tree is very tall and bushy;
But the peace of this subject brings is like,
Two lovers swimming across the blue sea of love and blues.

Pick Up The Change

If it's just your heart talking, I don't mind
If you wanna call me, darling that's just fine, that's just fine
But if it's your mind that's wandering, it'll fall in line
When I kiss your cheek, dear, everytime, everytime
We used to have a lotta things in common,
But you know now we're just the same
You always had more than I really wanted
Aw honey, help me,
Aw honey, help me pick up the change
If it's just your heart talking, I'll listen everytime
Dear, you can talk my ear off, anytime, anytime
But if my mind starts wandering, it won't be gone long
Whenever I hear your heart talking, it's a song, it's a song
We used to have a lotta things in common,
But you know now we're just the same
You always had more than I really wanted
Aw honey, help me,
Come on honey, help me pick up,
Aw honey, help me pick up the change
Aw honey, help me,
Come on honey, help me pick up,
Aw, honey, help me pick up the change

Change! Change! Change!

change! change! change!
everybody talkin' about change.

change your look,
change your luck,
change your politics,
change your religion...

change the country,
change the world....
change the day!
change your underwear!

loose change, pocket change,
winds of change, march for change....

but all real change begins within...
let's work on that,
and then everything else
will change in turn!
