For almost seventy years the life insurance industry has been a smug sacred cow feeding the public a steady line of sacred bull.

Greet The Sacred Cow

Slice me up a big slab
Of that sympathetic cheer
If im zapped with radiation
They say i'll last another year
Line 'em up now
To Greet The Sacred Cow
My hands are full of protein
My arms are made of fire
If you're calling me a diplomat
I'll be calling you a liar
Line 'em up now
To Greet The Sacred Cow
Line 'em up now
To kill the sacred cow

Sacred Election

Sacred
sacred right,
the right to vote.

Sacred
sacred right
to be elected.

The people's votes are tallied
The best choice is declared.

Let no one manipulate the result
Let no one tamper the votes
Let no one buy people's votes
and strip the voters
their sacred right to choose.

Let this election
truly reflect
people's sacred rights.

Sacred Ground

Iced over, close your eyes. whisper the flame, it takes us higher.
Seems our world is closing around. when Im inside you, you bring me to sacred ground.
When Im inside you, you bring me to sacred ground.
Now youre the one that I want, you know its true.
Let go of everything, open up to me.
Im right beside you, Ill be your watchful eye.
I send waves of devotion over you. you take it all in and give it back, give it back again.
You bring me to sacred ground, when Im inside you.
You bring me to sacred ground.
Yes well love till theres nothing left to give...
Matching every movement, swimming in an ocean of sweat, and scent of you. it drives me to ...
You bring me to sacred ground, when Im inside you.
You bring me to sacred ground.
I know I can change your mind. give it to me the same way.
Giving it all up for love, I know that you feel the same way.
Id give it all up for you, I swear I would.
Now Im falling, falling inside ...
You bring me to sacred ground, when Im inside you.
You bring me to sacred ground.
Im inside you.
You bring me to sacred ground, when Im inside you.
You bring me to sacred ground.

Frosty Loneliness

i followed
frost too
to that
road less
travelled
to be surprised
by smug
aloneliness
so abundant

i took a detour
alone to
that road
under the coppice
to find myself
lost in arctic
loneliness
so alone
and cold
i could only
agree with frost
our only saviour
is our faith
that God is
beside us
at all times

loneliness is
the sacred patch
where God asks
us to remove
our wordly affairs
to be near him

the way he asked
Moses to remove
his sandals
on his sacred patch
to be near Him

Upon The Altar Of My Lord

I offer my words up freely,
upon the altar of my God.
I come to this sacred place freely,
of my own free will to serve to pray.
This ancient sacred place this land,
this holy sacred God given ground;
is where in my humble veneration,
in worship I lay my offering down.

I have nothing more; to humbly offer pray.

I have while materially poor nothing more,
than time of value worth to humbly offer pray;
this is all I have I here in true worship bore,
I offer before my most high my sacred Lord.
Near on thirty years ago, I made this sacred vow,
with my soul heart head, bowed in breath low;
though my flesh remains, be still struggle weak,
this vow before God in worship I honour keep.

I thank my wondrous Lord, who let me humbly come here pray.

William Butler Yeats

Imitated From The Japanese

A MOST astonishing thing --
Seventy years have I lived;

(Hurrah for the flowers of Spring,
For Spring is here again.)

Seventy years have I lived
No ragged beggar-man,
Seventy years have I lived,
Seventy years man and boy,
And never have I danced for joy.

Merkabah

Some tell of love stories where fire becomes a mother in healing

Wheels within wheels, where hell becomes a myth, and heaven becomes the
present

The cosmic chariot of the soul, the sacred fire, and transfiguration of
energy

It comes from the deep darkness within ones Neshamah,

Prayer to the divine Elohim, and the18th breath of life

Once ascended in that ring of fire, a being can fly beyond space and
sky

Some call it the fire in the sky, seen only through sacred third eyes

Sweet like the spirit of the sacred Shekinah,
One key in Metatronics

The visual, spiritual, and the physical, all become one in this hour of
light

To the holy vehicle of ascension, sacred and pure, flower of life

Is Nothing Sacred

If a love as strong as ours
Couldnt make it all the way,
Can anything make sense at all?
If a love so deep and true
Couldnt stand the test of time,
Then mount everest could slide,
And jeruselem could fall.
Is nothing sacred anymore?
Is forever just another word?
Is a promise something people used to keep
When love was worth fighting for?
If we can say good-bye,
If we can say good-bye,
Is nothing sacred anymore?
If we can say good-bye
Is nothing sacred anymore?
I can hear the final words
Every sentence that was said
Dont know what turned our lives around.
It doesnt matter who was right,
Theres no justice in a dream.
Never thought a heart could break
Without making any sound.
Is nothing sacred anymore?
Is forever just another word?
Is a promise something people used to keep
When love was worth fighting for?
If we can say good-bye,
If we can say good-bye,
Is nothing sacred anymore?
If we can say good-bye
If we can say good-bye
Is nothing sacred anymore?
Our love was as certain as the dawn,
As solid and save as any love could be.
Our love was the star you wished upon,
And you thought that I saved you,
Couldve sworn that you saved me.
Is nothing sacred anymore?
Is forever just another word?
Is a promise something people used to keep
When love was worth fighting for?
If we can say good-bye,
If we can say good-bye,
Is nothing sacred anymore?
Is nothing sacred anymore?
Is forever just another word?
Is a promise something people used to keep
When love was worth fighting for?
If we can say good-bye,
If we can say good-bye,
Is nothing sacred anymore?
If we can say good-bye,
If we can say good-bye...
Is nothing sacred anymore...
Is nothing sacred anymore...
Is nothing sacred anymore...

Money is Sacred

Money is so sacred, my mind is reactive
To the special things in life.
Too heavy in my mind is this life,
When money is donated to another life,
To give blood is easier.

Money is too sacred. Its business is supreme
And laudable. Most adorable. Why do you laugh?
Business makes you perfect. So what about the family?
Is it given its just help, or are you poor for yourself?
Money is sacred and wealth we be. We are not poor.

Sacred Trust

(b, r & m gibb)
I meant to fight it to the finish but you made me forget
And though its possible Im dreaming, dont wake me yet
You know I love you
I cant see the day for night
You know I twist around and turn around and then I give in
You end up in control of me its really a sin
I dont know what youre doing to me
But I know its a crime
And baby I cant last another night
And every moment is eternity
And from the depth of my soul
Cant let another day go by
I follow my heart right up to the end
As far as the eye can see
Im faithful and true and living up to
Your sacred trust in me
Ill never give out to somebody else
I know where my arms should be
Im faithful and true and making it through
Your sacred trust in me
Your sacred trust in me
You take me and you break me and you do what you please
I stumble and I tremble and Im weak at the knees
The vision that lies before me is not reality
I tell you I cant wait another night
For every secret that your soul reveals
And you and I may get to know
That its real, that its real
I follow my heart that leads me to you
And all that my love should be (you know Im talking to you)
And you can be sure Im doing it for
Your sacred trust in me
Ill never give out to somebody else
Theres nowhere my heart should be (you know Im calling to you)
Im faithful and true and living up to
Your sacred trust in me
Your sacred trust in me
I follow my heart right up to the end
As far as the eye can see
Im faithful and true and living up to
Your sacred trust in me
Ill never give out to somebody else
I know where my arms should be
Im faithful and true and making it through
Your sacred trust in me
Your sacred trust
I follow my heart that leads me to you
And all that my love should be (you know Im calling to you)
And you can be sure Im doing it for
Your sacred trust in me
Ill never give out to somebody else
Theres nowhere my heart should be (you know Im calling to you)
Im faithful and true and living up to

Your sacred trust

No One Demands

... that there must be respect
to the wings of a fly, a mere fly
on top of a garbage
from your kitchen,

that there must be respect
to a leaf of a mahogany
on a permission to take it
away from a twig,

that there must be respect
for the handful of water that
you drink from the river,

that there must be respect
for the porcupine fish
from the bottom of the sea
even if it's form be
hateful,

the air is sacred
the sea is sacred
the tree is sacred
like every man, every baby,
every eye
every hand
the spider is sacred
and so is the carabao
resting in the mud hole
after a hard day's toil

every carapace
an empty shell
every grain of sand
belongs to no one

respect and live
on the blessings
of Mother Earth.

No Goldfish

Who will care
for my poems
when I die?

I have no goldfish
or pet cat
to give away.

My poems will cuddle up
serenely curl up with you
on a long winter’s evening.

My poems will swim and flash
tails of intricate golden detail
on a long cozy winter’s evening.

Who will care
for my poems
when I am gone?

Goldfish are a sacred species
cats are a sacred species
all life is a sacred species somewhere.

Poems are also
a sacred life force.
For it is the task appointed
to the divine poet to render;

foolish humanity worthy
when seeking redemption,
through hidden wisdom written
within sealed lines, in a starlit poem.

Well, I'm telling them two things. One is that, look, this is going to be something when the American people realize - once it's passed - that, A, it does take care of preexisting conditions; B, you're insurance rates aren't going to skyrocket; C, the insurance companies aren't going to be running the show like they were before; D, you're going to be in a position where you can keep your insurance that you have. That once the American public realizes that, you're going to get a reward for this. They're going to be rewarded.

The Rhythmic Man

Time away and now have returned set to leave my mark
of the Rhythmic Man.Poetic verses in step, in tune once
creation starts do not intrude. It's a sacred place around
my fleet feet.Like an artist or a musician things move
within.I've spoken before about my vision...The hours
spent to raise my tower.Years of romance from the sweet,
the lovely, the deadly flower. The Gamemaster when it comes
to amorous strategy.A shape-shifter-fearless in my pursuit
of the truth.Drinking water and roots which borders every
line.I make feeding heart and mind and soul today.Showing
much pride and respectful of the arts.An advocate of symbolism,
a real prince of expression. On the lattice of tactics to
stick to the basics.A great channeler and releaser of emotion.
A steady and firm roadway builder. The master in his realm.
The demon in his cave.Back for another season, the power
and beauty of my words is now in session.

Only My Wealth

Only heaven, only mist, my sacred fortune
Is ceasing to be, opening now into good fellowship.
I have meanings, too many friends,
I bless each when they arrive;
But then a sacred fortune returns,
I fear this occasion of the night
When they stare into me, and see me.
Offering me new heaven, all of the school of learning,
They insult the grades of my living
When the sacred fortune disappears
For a time.
What is this foam or leather? It is my luck.
It is my hair when I look in the mirror,
The locks carry meaning, but no!
I find in my reflection a story,
A story of a sacred fortune:
It is ignorance of my wealth.

I made my mistakes, but in all my years of public life, I have never profited from public service. I've earned every cent. And in all of my years in public life I have never obstructed justice. And I think, too, that I can say that in my years of public life that I welcome this kind of examination because people have got to know whether or not their President is a crook. Well, I'm not a crook. I've earned everything I've got.
