I am so excited to extend myself behind the scenes as a designer and to - as my father puts it - finally have a real job.

And We Shall Not Get Excited
And we shall not get excited. Because a translator
May not get excited. Calmly, we shall pass on
Words from man to son, from one tongue
To others' lips, un-
Knowingly, like a father who passes on
The features of his dead father's face
To his son, and he himself is like neither of them. Merely a mediator.
We shall remember the things we held in our hands
That slipped out.
What I have in my possesion and what I do not have in my possession.
We must not get excited.
Calls and their callers drowned. Or, my beloved
Gave me a few words before she left,
To bring up for her.
And no more shall we tell what we were told
To other tellers. Silence as admission. We must not
Get excited.

I Get So Excited
(ian hunter)
I hear a thousand drums a million miles away
I feel the wembley rock I get a buzz off a big parade
I get the music
Everywhere
Get off on the music
If this is the end there I dont care
I get so excited
So excited
Call me a fan thats just what I am
I said I i I i I get
So excited
So excited
My nerves are alive
I feel like a knife
I said I get so excited
I hear a choir singing way up above the sea
I feel the sound a-changing as the night rocks a spell on me
I get the music
Everywhere
Get off on the music
If this is the end there I dont care I get
So excited
So excited
Ill throw you a line come far behind
I said I i I i I get
So excited
So excited
Its happening so fast
And the drummers a blast
I said I get so excited
By your mind oh yeah oh yeah
Excited by your warmth oh yeah oh yeah
Excited by your body oh yeah oh yeah
Excited by your...
Ha ha ha ha
Oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah right! I get
So excited
So excited
Band on the run just for the fun
I said I i I i I get
So excited
So excited
It lasts and it lasts
Get up off your past
I said I i I i I i I get
So excited
So excited
Call me a fan thats just what I am
I said I i I i I i I get
So excited

My nerves are alive

Alone On The Beach
Awakened on the beach
Look at the patterns in the sand
Incredible patterns
Who made this beach? ?
This fantastic breach, by who's hand?
Each grain and pebble unique
All the flotsam and jetsum arranged just so
The name of the arranger I seek
Will the designer I ever know? ?
Could such things happen by chance? ?
Could nature arrange the things I see? ?
But where is the romance
If such things could just be? ?
No! ! I believe in the designer! !
His ways to me he'll show
How this perfect beach he made could not be finer
I pray the designer I'll know
To be alone on the beach I can not bear
Ther is a designer this I swear
But a moment later I might ask
Why this designer I never see
But a moment later I might ask
Am I alone, am I just me? ?
To be alone on this beach I can not bear
There is a designer this I swear

Excited
Excited
Mean to me is
Ready to get something
I been waiting for
Like my permit or CD/DVD/Phone
Excited
Is one thing
I don't keep
Doing because
It's go to turn into bad luck
Excited
On the other hand
When I want something so bad it can happen
All I have to do is be patient and
It can be a good thing
Excited
Can mean so much
Like getting this feeling
When you are with someone you love so much
You just can't stop feeling like that
Excited
Is expressed on my face of how I
Feel right now
I just want to let it out and
Be crazy
Excited

Building Bridges
the human heart builds bridges...
that the ego seeks to destroy.
whether you strike a match,
and light a candle,
light a fire in the stove,
or light a lantern...
you are creating light....
light by any other name is light.
we are all born seeking the same thing,
in that way we are the same.
the paths we take, the choices we make,
the battles we fight, the society we live in...
make us different.
the real journey is in seeing through
the differences...
whether you call your father daddy,
father, pops, the old man, or Bill...
he is still your father!
whatever color your skin, whatever language you speak,
whatever your sexual orientation or your religion...
you are still human!
the sacredness of life is in the shared experience...
when we extend the hand, it is to all,
without discrimination or reservation!
real change and real dialogue occur when
the ears are grounded in the heart's work....
building bridges!

To Close
I wonder if she could tell I'm hard right now, hmmm
Yeah, come on, dance for me baby, ha ha, yeah
Oh, oh, you feel that? Alright
Come on, don't stop now
You done did it, come on, uh, yeah, alright, hold on
Baby when we're grinding
I get so excited
Ooh, how I like it
I try but I can't fight it
Oh, your dancing real close
Plus it's real real slow
(You know what you're doing, don't you)
You're making it hard for me
All the slow songs you requested
You're dancing like you're naked
Oh, it's almost like we're sexing (oh yeah)
Yeah boo, I like it
No, I can't deny it
But I know you can tell
I'm excited, oh girl
Step back you're dancing kinda close
I feel a little poke coming through
On you
Now girl I know you felt it
Boo you know I can't help it
You know what I want to do
Baby when we're grinding
I get so excited
Ooh, how I like it
I try but I can't fight it
Oh, your dancing real close
Plus it's real real slow
(You know what you're doing, don't you)
You're making it hard for me
Baby girl's dancing so close
Ain't a good idea
Cuz I'mma want you now and here
The way that you shake it on me
Makes me want you so bad sexually
Oh girl
Step back you're dancing kinda close
I feel a little poke coming through
On you
Baby when we're grinding
I get so excited
Ooh, how I like it
I try but I can't fight it
Oh, your dancing real close
Plus it's real real slow
(You know what you're doing, don't you)
You're making it hard for me
Baby when we're grinding
I get so excited
Ooh, how I like it
I try but I can't fight it
Oh, your dancing real close
Plus it's real real slow
(You know what you're doing, don't you)
You're making it hard for me
I love when you shake it like that, ah, ah, ah
I see that you like it like that, oh, oh, oh
I love when you shake it like that, ah, ah, ah
I see that you like it like that, oh, oh, oh
Well baby I like the way that you grind
On me
Baby when we're grinding
I get so excited
Ooh, how I like it
I try but I can't fight it
Oh, your dancing real close
Plus it's real real slow
(You know what you're doing, don't you)
You're making it hard for me
I like the way you move
You're making me want you
Oh the way
I like those things you do
But you're a little too close

I Wanna Know Who The Father Is
Dark rewrite of the classic love song, I Wanna Know What Love Is
I don't need no more time
No more time to think it over
Too late
I've already read between the lines
Not gonna wait till he's older
Ohhhh, oo oh oh oh oh oh
Now this mountain together we will climb
Alone I will no longer carry this burdren on my shoulders
Through the clouds of your lies
I have seen you lose your angel's shine
Nothing now can keep me warm
As my love for you grows colder
In our lives you have created heartache and pain
I honestly don't think I can ever look at you the same again
Can't go back now, you've taken us all too far
To change this new lonely life
I wanna know who the father is
I demand that you tell me
I want you to spill just who the....is
I think it's time you know
You can no longer con me
I'm only gonna give you a little more time
A little more time to own up to me
You've got nowhere left to hide
It looks like finally the truth has been leaked to me
In our lives you have created heartache and pain
I honestly don't think I can ever look at you the same again
Can't go back now, you've taken us all too far
To change this new lonely life
I wanna know who the father is
I demand that you tell me
I want you to spill just who the....is
I think it's time you know
You can no longer con me
I wanna know who the real father is
I demand that you tell me
Who's the heel?
Who sealed the deal?
I wanna know who the real father is
Yes, sweetheart I finally know all these years you lied to me
Let's talk about the father
I wanna know who he really is
The one you took inside
I demand that you tell me
If you want even the smallest chance at saving our love
I wanna know who the real father is
Darling, no longer can you hide
Better just tell me
I wanna know who the real father is
Let's talk about the father
I demand that you tell me
We're gonna have our little girl tested too
I wanna know what the truth really is
And you should know, baby you should know
You can no longer con me
I want to know who the real father is
I demand to know
I want you to tell me his name and show me a picture
Lady, you best tell me who he is
Before I take you to divorce court tomorrow

You've done it in the simulator so many times, you don't have a real sense of being excited when the flight is going on. You're excited before, but as soon as the liftoff occurs, you are busy doing what you have to do.

My Real Dad
He is not my father,
the one who gave me life...
He is the one who helped me,
when I was burdened with strife.
He is not my father,
the one who walked away...
He is the one who loves me,
more than enough to stay.
He is a real person,
who is never left me sad...
He is not my real father,
But he is my real Dad.

Happy Brithday Dad
Some fathers are just father figures;
A real father is still very rare;
That’s why I value so highly
The father/son/daughter bond that we share.
I’m blessed to have a real father,
Who displays his love with such ease,
And that’s why I say on your birthday,
I love you more than a mouse loves its cheese!

Today, I Met my Father
I have been waiting over twenty years for this day, and now it is finally here. I am excited but nervous. I got hundreds of questions to ask him. From do I have any other siblings, has he thought of me and the biggest question of all why did he leave me? My mom used to tell me I looked just like him and I wonder when I see him today will I see my features in him. Well I hear someone coming this way it must be him. Wow, all they gave me was a flag and some dog tags and took me to a white cross. Today I met my father and he was dead.
Designer Brand
son asks father daily
for designer goods
from clothes to wallet
to shoes to his underwear
wise father decides
to teach son a lesson
about the most important
brand that one should have
'look at this shoe worn by
that famous author. every line,
every crease speaks of him.
the world flies here to breathe his things.
the simplest things come alive with
his aura, his unique brand'
son feels an emptiness in him
immediately. he starts looking at things
inside out rather than the other way round.
he begins to realise the artist has to shed his brand
on the canvas and that all the best colours wont
do him any good, if he is not foremostly
a brand himself.
he begins to cultivate the brand that has been
a slave to others, to free himself from being painted by others.
he starts to paint his life the way he wants to be, to be a designer brand himself

Very Bright and Warm
Sex can wash over pain, puts tropical oceans of stars in the nigh but real love gives meaning to it all, puts suns in my heart, so even if it is dark it is still so very bright and warm.

Father Of Night
Father of night, father of day,
Father, who taketh the darkness away,
Father, who teacheth the bird to fly,
Builder of rainbows up in the sky,
Father of loneliness and pain,
Father of love and father of rain.
Father of day, father of night,
Father of black, father of white,
Father, who build the mountain so high,
Who shapeth the cloud up in the sky,
Father of time, father of dreams,
Father, who turneth the rivers and streams.
Father of grain, father of wheat,
Father of cold and father of heat,
Father of air and father of trees,
Who dwells in our hearts and our memories,
Father of minutes, father of days,
Father of whom we most solemnly praise.

All About Me
i'm confused
it makes it hard to think straight
i've finally figured out what i want to do
it's a scary thought
everything seems clear now
and instead of wondering what the future holds
i find myself making plans
- for the future
i feel a little more free, a little less scared
i like this feeling
i don't feel like i'm wondering around aimlessly
it feels like my path has finally revealed itself
i'm finally getting structure in my life
i'm excited about the future now
not scared shitless
maybe i'll even start smiling
(not likely)
