The character I play is a wonderful compilation of things I hate about myself and things I love about myself and things that I've invented to make her even more interesting than me.

Children's Eyes
Through childrens eyes I see joy
Sunshine, flowers, rainbows, smiles
Wonderful things that bright up your day
Through teenage eyes I see sorrow
Suicide, tears, shattered dreams
Sad things that make you cry
Through adult eyes I see hate
Death, destruction, war, violence
Terrible things that tear up your heart
Through my eyes, I see what they see
Joy, sorrow, hate
Things that make up life

Haters I Love When You Hate Me
haters i love it when they hate
they hate on me because
i look better and dress better
but why do haters hate me
haters hate me because i steal their men
and make them want me
and hate them and
that's why haters hate me
why do haters hate you
you have better things and bigger rings
fancy thing and material things well
that's why i love when haters
hate on me and
and i tell them to keep hate
hate me if you want
hate me if you might
hate me if I'm wrong
or hate me if I'm right
hate me because I'm good looking
hate me because you are not
hate me because I'm pretty
hate me because you are ugly
hate me for whatever reason
hate me with everything you got
hate me for ignoring you
hate me for not hating you
hate me for not sinking to your level
hate me every minute of everyday
hate me for being stronger than you
hate me because I'm the person you want to be
hate me because you are pitiful
hate on.......

I Hate...
I hate the way you make me feel
I hate that you think your always right
I hate that you mock my words
I hate the words you say to me
I hate how you always yell at me
I hate that you don’t take me seriously
I hate that you think every thing's a joke
I hate how you ignore me
I hate how your overdramatic
I hate how it’s only your way or no way
I hate how you don’t believe or trust me
I hate how you don’t give me second chance
I hate that your selfish and so unfair
I hate how you know how to get to me
I hate how you play with my emotions
I hate the way you make me cry
I hate how you make me wish horrible things upon myself
I hate the way you make me feel useless and worthless
And most of all I hate that I love you

Doin' The Things That We Want To
The other night we went to see Sam's play
doin' the things that we want to
It was very physical it held you to the stage
doin' the things that he wants to
Doin' the things that he wants to
The guy's a cowboy from some rodeo
doin' the things that he wants to
The girl had once loved him, but now she want to go
doin' the things that she wants to
Doin' the things that she wants to
The man was bullish, the woman was a tease
doin' the things that they want to
They fought with their words, their bodies and their deeds
doin' the things that they want to
When they finished fighting, they exited the stage
doin' the things that they want to
I was firmly struck by the way they had behaved
doin' the things that they want to
Doin' the things that they want to
hey
It reminds me of the movies Marty made about New York
(doin' the things that he wants to)
Those frank and brutal movies that are so brilliant
(doin' the things that he wants to)
";True Love"; meet ";The Raging Bull";
(doin' the things that he wants to)
They're very inspirational, I love the things they do
(doin' the things that he wants to)
Doin' the things that I want to
There's not much you hear on the radio today
(doin' the things that we want to)
But you could still see a movie or a play
(doin' the things that we want to)
Here's to ";Travis Bickle"; and here's ";Johnny Boy";
(doin' the things that we want to)
Growing up in the Mean Streets of New York
(doin' the things that we want to)
I wrote this song 'cause I'd like to shake your hand
(doin' the things that we want to)

What's most interesting and most real to me in my work is to never make the role a complete character, because then you lose a part of the truth. I can't say that this person is just like this or like that. Because you can never do that with real people in real life, so if you try that on stage you lose the truth. Since I myself strive to be able to be a great many things, I also want my character to have that very same liberty. Eventually in that way it will add to a sort of completeness. But it is the story that is told that is the interesting thing and the situations the character is in. And as we humans always are shaped by a special situation or given circumstances, I can never ever say: Thus is my character.

Once you have invented a character with three dimensions and a voice, you begin to realize that some of the things you'd like him to do to further your plot are things that such a person wouldn't, or couldn't, do.

Those Wonderful Things
some days you run, run, run
you never stop and when you stop
you're too tired to think about anything.
but some day, when you finally stop,
you're able to think and wonder about your
breathless running
and if i could have a christmas wish come true...
i would wish for nothing but (for) wonderful things
and in your life, which is so precious to me,
may troubles, worries never linger;
may they only make you stronger...
and may you rise each day with sunlight
in your heart
and success on your path
and answers to your prayers
and that smile
that i love to see
always there...
in your eyes...
and if i could have a christmas wish come true...
i would wish for nothing but (for) wonderful things
and in your life, which is so precious to me,
may troubles, worries never linger;
may they only make you stronger...
...and able and wise
...and able and wise
...and able and wise
and if i could have a christmas wish come true...
i would wish for nothing but (for) wonderful things
and in your life, which is so precious to me,
may troubles, worries never linger;
may they only make you stronger...
...those wonderful things
...stronger
...those wonderful things
...stronger
...those wonderful things
...stronger
...those wonderful things

Things Are Getting Better
Well I worked for a week and I got no pay.
(things getting better.)
Well my babys coming back home to stay
(things getting better.)
Well shes coming back home, but I havent got a dime
(things getting better.)
But Ive got my love to keep me fine[? ].
(things getting better.)
Oh-oh
Things getting better.
Things getting better.
Well since my babys been away,
(things getting better.)
Well things got worse from day to day.
(things getting better.)
Well now my babys come back to me.
(things getting better.)
Yeah, itll get better, wait and see.
(things getting better.)
Oh-oh
Things getting better.
Things getting better.
Oh-oh
Things getting better.
Things getting better.
Well I pawned my watch and I sold my car.
(things getting better.)
The money Ive got wouldnt get me far.
(things getting better.)
But I dont mind now that youve packed.
(things getting better.)
Its a fact, that
Things getting better.
Things getting better.
Oh-oh
Things getting better.
Things getting better.

Hard to break
I hate the way I'm mischievous
I hate the way I'm covert
I hate the way I'm neglected, even when I get hurt
I hate the way I love the things I hate most
I hate the way I hide my feelings and let them make me decompose
I hate the way I play games
I hate the way I distances
Sometimes I just want somebody to flippin' listen

All About Her
Let me practice this before I say it to you
I know it might come out wrong but I want it to
Another chance to fight
Another way to make it right
So forget all of your chances
Its up to you to follow through
Forget the way she was
Cause its the things she does that make me
Sing about her
She knows I care about her
She said be gentle boy
You show a lack of character
Let me work this out
Before I come back to you
I know you
Sometimes hate the stupid things I do
Another lonely night
Another way to make it right
So forget al of your chances
Its up to you to follow through
Forget the way she was
Cause its the things she does that make me sing about her
She knows I care about her
She said be gentle boy
You show a lack of character
There is no other way this girl is so all about me
Im sorry I cant help the way
Cause its the things she does that make me
Sing about her
She knows I care about her
She said be gentle boy
You show a lack of character.

Suzanne
(when things get hot) oh my love
(when things get hot) I know you like the heat
(when things get hot) when things get much too much
(when things get hot)
So tell me why do you always run from me baby, like you do
Cause where theres smoke theres fire
I tell you love will never stay
When youre playing the games you play
Suzanne, I understand maybe youre scared to see
Just what your life really means to me
Suzanne, what will it take to make you stop giving up on love
When things get hot, suzanne
(when things get hot) oh my love
(when things get hot) do you keep your cool?
(when things get hot) things get too hot to touch
(when things get hot)
So tell me what are you holding out for now baby, like you do
Im walking on that wire
How can I get through, there must be something more than I can do
Suzanne, I understand maybe youre scared to see
Just what your life really means to me
Suzanne, what will it take to make you stop giving up on love
When things get hot, suzanne
I see the look in your eyes,
I dont know why you fight it
You work so hard to deny, its crazy
Why do you play it safe
Baby wake up and have some faith
Baby I tell you true all the love will come back to you
Suzanne, this cant be all there is to this
Suzanne, Ill give so much to you if you dont resist
Suzanne, I understand maybe youre scared to see
Just what your life really means to me
Suzanne, what will it take to make you stop giving up on love
When things get hot, suzanne

You want to play another kind of character in another genre, and it's been something I've been trying to do if I can in the career so far, and it's something I hope to continue because it's interesting to me and you get to do different things as an actor.

I hate the way you made me feel
I hate the things you do
I hate your lifestyle
but i cant hate you anymore
I hate your look on things
I hate your 'evil look'
I hate your friends
I hate how are realtionship turned out
but i just cant hate you anymore

I Am
I'm an angel
I'm a devil
I am sometimes in-between
I'm as bad as it can get
And as good as it can be
Sometimes I'm a million colors
Sometimes I'm black and white
I am all extremes
Try to figure me out?
You never can
There's so many things I am
[chorus]
I am special
I am beautiful
I am wonderful and powerful
Unstoppable
Sometimes I'm miserable
Sometimes I'm pitiful
But that's so typical of all the things I am
I'm someone filled with self-belief
And haunted by self-doubt
I got all the answer
I've got nothing figured out
I like to be by myself
I hate to be alone
I'm up and I am down
But that's part of the thrill
Part of the plan
Part of all of the things I am
[chorus]
I am special
I am beautiful
I am wonderful and powerful
Unstoppable
Sometimes I'm miserable
Sometimes I'm pitiful
But that's so typical of all the things I am
I'm a million contradictions
Sometimes I make no sense
Sometimes I'm perfect
Sometimes I'm a mess
Sometimes I'm not sure who I am
[chorus] 2x
I am special
I am beautiful
I am wonderful and powerful
Unstoppable
Sometimes I'm miserable
Sometimes I'm pitiful
But that's so typical of all the things I am
Sometimes I'm miserable
Sometimes I'm pitiful
But that's so typical of all the thing I am
Of all the things I am

Special
I been trying for so long
To get you where I stand
Feel like I been climbing all my life
Everybody told me
I'd never ever get this far
I know I can make it if I try
There's the special things that come your way
?I'll be praying? no matter what they say
Special things that somehow come to you
(come to you, you too, to you, do to, be do, you)
Special things come to you
There's no sense in trying to fight it
When I want something so bad
No, it's not as easy as it seems
Simple things are the hardest
Of the things we do for love
And I won't give up cause I'm not just what it means
The special things you dream about
And the special things you're all about
Special things that somehow come to you
And it's the simple things to just believe
And the special things that you want to see
Special things somehow come to you
(come to you, doo doo doo, to you, doo doo doo)
Special things (doo, doo ahh, you doo)
Do do doo, on you, do do doo, to you
Do doo, ahh, do do doo, too
There's the special things that come your way
?I'll be praying? no matter what they say
Special things that somehow come to you
The special things you dream about
And the special things you're all about
Special things that somehow come to you
There's the special things that come your way
?I'll be praying? no matter what they say
Special things that somehow come to you
And it's the simple things to just believe
And the special things that you want to see
Special things somehow come to you

When I Say
You tell me things,
That sadden me.
Silly things,
Concerning age or quality.
Those for me are,
The things that make me,
Wake up each morning and wonder,
How did I get to be so lucky?
What makes me so special?
I can’t think of a single thing.
There are a million reasons and counting,
That make you special to me.
I Don’t Hate You as we continue to say.
When I say I Don’t Hate You,
I am really saying I promise.
I promise Honey to love you for as long as you will let me.
I promise Sweetheart that I will love no other.
I promise I will be there if you need a friend or a lover,
No matter what I will be there for you.
I promise that my love won’t diminish within time.
I promise My Love that this heart belongs to you.
This is what I have in mind when I say I Don’t Hate You.
Yes, I Don’t Hate You Saint Cynosure

You Hate Me I Hate Myself
I like all the things which you like
I love all the ones who loves you and whom you love
I hate all the things which you hate
I hate all the ones who hates you and whom you hate
I knew you hate me, so
I should hate myself for being hated by you….but
I could not because there is still some part in myself
Loving you so dearly even when it is aware that you don't…

To enjoy the things we ought and to hate the things we ought has the greatest bearing on excellence of character.
