There's a flipside to this; if you as an individual have the right to live on your own terms, you must have the right to both succeed and fail on them.

Socialists make the mistake of confusing individual worth with success. They believe you cannot allow people to succeed in case those who fail feel worthless.

So what is so strange about saying I want Barack Obama to fail if his mission is to reconstruct and reform this nation so that capitalism and individual liberty are not its foundation? I want the country to survive. I want the country to succeed.

Trying To Be...
In this life i must try try as i may and try as i might fail or succeed it not mean thy same to me my hearts like an open book but with all thy pages ripped and torn my soul falls to darkness eternity of lonliness now and forever more until twilight vale falls upon my surroundings a journey this life seems like...
sailing here an there far and near thy starlight fades away in to divinity and eternity gone is greatness here is the bleakest of thy darkest days ahead always...
my souls gits consumed i do not much and dont bother to fight back for i would fail with out trying matters lil no more but in this life i guessum one must trry to be sumthing an succeed or fail miserably and fade away to nothing more....

On My Own Terms
relating to you must be
on my own terms says the sun to the moon
we don't see each other
neither shall you expect me
to dance your night away
we know the terms of our existence
the closing and the opening
of doors
in such a manner
that when you open i close
what is there
or perhaps that for me to live
so must you die.
it is sad, indeed overwhelmingly
tragic,
nature's laws, our terms of engagement
darkness and light
life and death
you and i.

In the long run, a society's strength depends on the way that ordinary people voluntarily behave. Ordinary people matter because there are so many of them. Voluntary behavior matters because it is hard to supervise everyone all the time. … Successful societies — those which progress economically and politically and can control the terms on which they deal with the outside world— succeed because they have found ways to match individual self-interest to the collective good. The behavior that helps each person will, as a cumulative ethos, help the society as a whole.

Pride v Principle.
Which is to win?
Sturdy arrogance
Relationship issues within,
Or common sense
When everything has been said,
To work it out.
But its' like banging your head,
Screaming and starting to shout!
There seems no way for either to succeed,
The stubbornness may yield with luck and chance.
But it has to feed,
From its' stance.
The only possible way to fight its' negative,
Ignore its' need,
Is to live let it live!
Let it bleed.
Rightness will eventually prevail,
Handled well it won't fail.

I want anyone who believes in life, liberty, pursuit of happiness to succeed. And I want any force, any person, any element of an overarching Big Government that would stop your success, I want that organization, that element or that person to fail. I want you to succeed.

The freedom to fail is vital if you're going to succeed. Most successful people fail from time to time, and it is a measure of their strength that failure merely propels them into some new attempt at success.

Try, believing luck
With out sail you can reach.
With sail you perhaps fail.
You may swim and fail.
You may float and reach.
Sometimes efforts fail.
Sometimes fortune strikes.
An effect is from bundles of causes.
Your effort is an added cause.
When other forces are enough,
Without your effort, you succeed.
When other forces are far short,
With your effort, you fail.
So to rely on fate is futile.
To rely on your efforts is too.

I Believe in Myself
I believe in God
I believe in myself regardless of what others say
I love myself
I believe in things that others would not believe
I am not insane, but intelligent
I know and feel in my heart that anything can be possible
I never give up even when it feels impossible
I will succeed
I will succeed
No one can take away my pride but me
I will succeed
I will succeed
Just you wait and see

Proverbial Song
One to the dog,
Two to the pig,
Three to the opossum which lives around you;
For an apology is rendered freely.
My terms and your terms,
And living in the wolrd of terms to stay alive;
But many still find it difficult to apologise.
He who steals and run awy will live to steal another day,
But the splashes of the sea are very far from me.
I am the proverbial song and the Teddy Bear among the lions!
And you are the Queen of Diva across the parapet;
But many cannot render an apology to others.

There Is No Rest For Success
Success is a journey not a destination a year from
now you may wish you had started today.
Every beginner is a winner. Success is not escaping problems but facing them creatively.
There is no success without sacrifice.
Great success always calls for great sacrifice.
Even failure can become an important ingredient to success.
Failure just means that you have not yet succeeded.
I’d rather change my mind and succeed than have my own way and fail. Success without conflict is unrealistic.
Any person can be successful on smooth seas,
but it is the victory over the storm that gains true honor.
Success doesn’t come through the way you think it comes;
it comes through the way you think.
Never settle for less than success.
Success is doing something good.
When you can, where you can, while you can.
It’s better to attempt to do something great and fail,
than attempt to do nothing and succeed.
Success is not necessarily reaching your goal- but reaching the maximum possibilities in light of the opportunities that come your way.
To keep your values on target remember to live so that when you “arrive”, you’ll have pride behind you and hope ahead of you.
The success is truly the path to heaven.
Success is never ending, because success is like the process of seed planting. Every creative contribution like a seed planted may bear fruit.
Success finally is not what you have it is not what you do;
it is who you are, and what
you want to become of yourself.

I am doing my best to glorify the scamp or vagabond. I hope I shall succeed. For things are not so simple as they sometimes seem. In this present age of threats to democracy and individual liberty, probably only the scamp and the spirit of the scamp alone will save us from being lost in serially numbered units in the masses of disciplined, obedient, regimented and uniformed coolies. The scamp will be the last and most formidable enemy of dictatorships. He will be the champion of human dignity and individual freedom, and will be the last to be conquered. All modern civilization depends entirely upon him.

On Their Own Terms
On their own terms,
People have a right to do and choose...
As they please.
This should not lead to an argument.
However...
When those terms and choices one chooses,
At the crossing over a threshold into someone's home...
Anyone believing they should be treated,
Based upon their own terms...
Should excuse themselves immediately.
Before they are asked to leave.
Thus making the keeping of their own terms,
An issue not needing to be debated.
