If We Are Not Here to Give and Receive

If we are not here to give and receive...
Why are we blessed with arms to reach.
And hands to offer,
What we have to share?

Why would our hearts be where there are...
With legs attached,
To move as we choose...
To distances near or far?
With minds when unconfined,
Can be anywhere and at any time!

If we are not here to give and receive.
And to believe,
That is why we are here.
Then why do some deny others the gifts...
They have been given to collect,
But they elect...
Just to let sit to do nothing with?

As things they witness dust and rust...
Providing them an emptiness.
With a faith they must keep trusted.
And an absence of their happiness,
Allowing themselves to be burdened...
With feelings to fulfill,
An unadmitted insignificance...
Enclosing within them,
As they pretend to hush this alone...
Condoning.
In a silent crush!

The Me Factor

Confusion sometimes a theory shared begins.
It is said to those who give,
To learn to receive...
And let just giving end!
But when one is raised to do for others...
The Me Factor spoken may sit well for some,
But doesn't become another's druthers!

We are often told how selfish it is,
To think of oneself and how that is negative.
It is said 'to give' is better than 'to receive'.
Although in doing so...
Receiving for some is difficult to show!

Giving to give and thinking nothing of themselves...
Are many who live who believe 'to give' is positive!
And yes it is an act of unselfishness.
But many are living and not receiving proper rest!
And living to receive with a 'me' factor conceived,
Is the one thing they detest.
In this giving to receive cycle some suggest!

Confusion sometimes a theory shared begins.
It is said to those who give,
To learn to receive...
And let just giving end!
But when one is raised to do for others...
The Me Factor spoken may sit well for some,
But doesn't become another's druthers!

Gift

There are many gifts;
we give one another,
but the greatest gift
anyone can receive
is the gift of unconditional love.
It comes in many forms
from that which we give our partner
and that which we give our friends.
We receive it readily
always never trying to abuse
the trust that comes with it
when we receive
the greatest gift
of unconditional love.

I Receive

This beautiful gift You have given me...
I receive.
And grateful I am blessed,
It is yet from the peak...
Of its bloom unfolding.

I receive this breath of life You give.
I admit I am inquisitive...
To witness an obstacle that sits.
And You assist with a lift of it,
Off my path.

The faith I have,
Does not ask of You how this is done.

I receive my challenges,
In all ways they come to be wrapped.
To let me know my life...
Is full of assorted delights.
Some I may or may not like,
But they are mine.

And I receive what it is You wish for me.
In prayer everyday in the way I know I can...
I thank You.

Shit From Dante The Poo-h

Quote of the day:

'Whatever you give a woman, she will make it greater.
If you give her
sperm, she'll give you a baby.
If you give her a house,
she'll give you
a home.
If you give her groceries,
she'll give you a meal.
If you give
her a smile, she'll give you her heart.
She multiplies and
enlarges what
is given to her.
So, if you give her any crap,
be ready to receive a ton
of shit.'

Drop the nothing

chasing with the wind is not but gone
life as we have is not but a passing
scene in our own very eyes

all has its prize as it appears, alas! all has
value in everything we serve, all are
just beginning to receive again

nothing new to us, what we receive is
ours to give it to the one who shared,
make the best, for we give of what is a gift

all are nothing, but has a value, that
comes when it is to be given, dropp that
something in you, and nothing lost

face to the one who gives everything in you
dropp the nothing, even nothing is something
in you that holds you, for you are something,
of everything to the one who give you life

Sweet Lady

Sweet lady would you be my
sweet love for a lifetime
I'll be there when you need me
just call and receive me

Now any other day
I would play it cool
But I ant now cause I want you
See I'm hooked on
how you flex your style
and I wanna talk for a little while
I never really seen your type
but I must admit that I kinda like
so maybe if you have the time
we could talk about you being my

Sweet lady would you be my
sweet love for a lifetime
I'll be there when you need me
just call and receive me
Sweet lady would you be my
sweet love for a lifetime
I'll be there when you need me
just call and receive me

Now on the regular
I would waste time but I don't want to
cuz you're so damn fine
and I heard that you were taken
but that don't have to stop you from makin
late night phone calls on the telephone
about your fantasies and ways to get it on
when you need me I will be
there for you my sweet lady

Sweet lady would you be my
sweet love for a lifetime
I'll be there when you need me
just call and receive me
Sweet lady would you be my
sweet love for a lifetime
I'll be there when you need me
just call and receive me

[bridge]
Say you will be baby
say you will be my lady
I've got to have all your love
so I wont even front
just say you'll give it to me
don't wanna hear the maybe's
and I will give you all my heart
if you say you'll be my baby

[Chorus fade out..]

Elah

Abraham left all that he had to Isaac and,
Gifts to the sons of his concubines;
So try to give out more than to receive.
Isaac was forty years old when he married Rebekah,
And sixty years old when Esau and Yaaqob were born;
But the older shall serve the younger at all times and,
You must always give out than to receive.

Mahlon's widow,
Like Rachel and Leah;
Of the gnats on man and the dense swarms of flies;
But do the right thing always to gain the love of man.
Try to learn to give out always,
Try to teach and be very humble at all times,
For we are all on this earth to share with one another.

The Purpose of Meet

Mary and Glory were old friends
And met one day after decades.
Both were hurry more to pass on
Intelligence as to their own
Than to receive from the listener.

Both were ready more to give
Than to receive information.
Often talking both together,
Each heard little of what was said
By the other, and left pleased,
Each feeling higher than the other.

Sharing The Ultimate Gift

I want to share a special gift with you that God has given to me,
This gift like most others that you will receive is absolutely free.

However unlike other gifts that you may have received in the past,
This special gift and this one alone through all eternity will last.

Although you can't see this gift, it's the greatest you can receive,
This gift is not in a box, but in the heart of all those who believe.

And even though this gift is one of a kind and very special indeed,
You'll surely want to give this gift away as soon as it is received.

Don't be concerned about giving away something you didn't use,
For God said “Blessed are the feet of those who bring good news.”

This gift will surprise you on the day you decide to give it away,
You won't feel any loss at all with more to give the following day.

My friend you will be Eternally Grateful when you finally choose,
To truly embrace but give away this gift that you can never lose.

By now you know this gift is none other than Jesus Christ the Lord,
And your faithful sharing of this gift, by Him, will not be ignored.

For our Great Blessed Hope, who through the ages many have adored,
At His return will bring to all His faithful, an Everlasting Reward.

So the next gift you receive and think you'll treasure forevermore,
Remember that the only truly lasting gift is Jesus Christ The Lord.

I Don't Sit With Expectations

Nothing that I have given to give,
Do I regard in the giving...
As something I still own.
If I have it to give,
Why should I announce it to be known?

When I give that's it.
I don't sit with expectations,
Believing I'm deserving of a return favor or gift.
I'm not one to sit premeditating what it is I give.
Or a value placed on that which is received to take.

It would be nice if I am respected.
But I admit there is a bit of selfishness connected.
I know that God will bless me more...
If I give just to give and not think what it is for!
I don't need my back patted to have my ego explored.

And My Father doesn't tease when He pleases me.
I receive to do a giving and in that doing is my need!

The Love of the Truth

'They perish because they did not receive the love of
the truth, that they might be saved.' 2 Thess.2: 10

There is a receiving of 'the truth', and a receiving of
'the love of the truth'. These two things widely differ.

To receive the truth will not necessarily save; for many
who receive the truth, never receive 'the love of the truth'.

Professors by thousands receive the truth into their
judgment, and adopt the plan of salvation as their creed;
but are neither saved nor sanctified thereby. But to receive
'the love of the truth' by Jesus being made sweet and
precious to the soul, is to receive salvation itself.

'Yes, He is very precious to you who believe.' 1 Peter 2: 7

Keep Your Hands Off My Baby

(t. kelly, b. steinberg)
Producer: carter
Album: non-album track
B-side of the german private dancer single
Ive seen the way that you look at him,
When you think Im not around,
And Ive seen you try to catch his eyes,
And you think youre gainin ground.
You know last night he told me,
Everything that you said,
You asked him if he gets lonely,
Well then get this through your head
Keep your hands off my baby,
Keep your hands off my baby,
Dont you know you better give it up,
Give it up, give it up, give it up, give it up,
Dont you know you better stop, better stop,
Leave my baby alone.
Ive seen the way that you brushed back your hair,
Ive heard your baby-talk,
I know just what youre thinkin there,
Ooo, Im watchin what you want.
You know it took a lot of patience,
To win my babys love,
Now youre tryin my patience,
If you push, Im gonna shove.
Keep your hands off my baby,
Keep your hands off my baby,
Dont you know you better give it up,
Give it up, give it up, give it up, give it up,
Dont you know you better stop, better stop,
Leave my baby alone (yeah).
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah....
Ive seen the way that you look at him,
When you think Im not around,
Ive seen you try to catch his eyes,
And you think youre gainin ground.
You know last night he told me,
Everything that you said,
You asked him if he gets lonely,
Well get this through your head.
Keep your hands off my ....,
Keep your hands off my baby,
Keep your hands off my baby,
Dont you know you better give it up,
Give it up, give it up, give it up, give it up,
Dont you know you better stop, better stop,
Leave my baby ....
Give it up (yeah), give it up (yeah), said give it up (yeah),
Give it up (yeah), give it up (yeah),
Dont you know you better stop, (better stop),
Leave my baby alone

Whatever will be will be

Whatever will be will be,
She assured me in my stress.
Whatever will be will be,
Focus on the now and not the rest.

Let go and trust in God
Her words flowed with ease,
Let go and trust in God
Give all to him on bended knee.

You must ask before you receive,
Trust in him and you will believe.
You must ask before you receive,
In God's hands our pain shall be relieved.

Trust in God and you will see
Your worries and stress soon will leave.
Trust in God and you will see
In God’s world there’s nothing you can’t achieve.

Talk to God, become his friend
And peace will come to thee.
Talk to God, become his friend
God’s love never costs, it is always free.

Whatever will be will be,
She assured me in my stress.
Whatever will be will be,
Focus on the now and not the rest.
