Life Graph
The way I perceive the life
shrouded in the mystery
its up and down curves
none can guess but destiny.
Challenges, the hall mark of life
paint it with red or green
acceptance of failures gives direction
success gives a sheen.
Biggest philanthropist, the life is
providing opportunity at every stage
those who grabs it with both hands
ink their name on every page.
Life graph is never smooth
and should not be so
death is defined by a smooth line
a beating heart must know.

The Physics of Attraction
The teacher assigned us
A page on tangents
And told us to draw lines
That connected at just one point
It made me think of your lips
Brushing against mine just once
And the lines you drew later
To make sure we never connected again
My lines were all curved
So my acceleration graph looked
Like a ragged heart monitor
I wrote a note at the bottom, to my teacher or to you
'The laws of physics still don't explain me.'
There! Because That Is What People Naturally Do
On what scale can one rate hatred.
To what temperature can heat rise...
From those despising themselves and others?
How long can tolerance be expected to prevail?
To calm those tensions with attempts,
That a peacefulness...
Will ease the minds of those who vent.

Describe one's pain?
In what debates...
Can a surprising happiness,
Be concluded as shown on one's face.
Will those times ever return,
When it becomes apparent...
Lessons have been learned?
