The one excellent thing that can be learned from a lion is that whatever a man intends doing should be done by him with a whole-hearted and strenuous effort.

I was the son of an immigrant. I experienced bigotry, intolerance and prejudice, even as so many of you have. Instead of allowing these thing to embitter me, I took them as spurs to more strenuous effort.

Dead Lion
Lion died
And dead lion
Came to me crying
Dead lion wanted to know
so many thing about life.
I am not here
To told about
Lion's history
Or geography of the area
Where lion was.
Dead lion
I found within
My house my country
Lion was enchanted
on the scene here
Even after death
That much I knew.

Big Hearted Me
Don gibson
Big hearted me,big hearted me
Big hearted me
I had to give my love away
I give it to a girl
That broke it in two like it was clay
I should have known better
I should have never let her
But I couldnt break free
I gave her all my love so generously
Big hearted me
Big hearted me,big hearted me
I bought her everything
A mink and a ring
A home so fine
I thought she loved me so
There never was a doubt that she was mine
Until one day I opened my eyes and plain as could be
My love was all gone
She left me all alone
Big hearted me
Big hearted me
Big hearted me
Big hearted me

Bias
even when the lion
smiles at us
we still withhold
confidence
even if the lion is
sincere
and does not think of
evil
like eating all of us
as prey
we always think of
the worst
even if it is just a picture
of the lion
smiling at us
we still suspect
that this can be a trap
another deception
a lion is a lion is a lion
and will always be lion
no matter what
as simple as that
ask the wind

Thank You
Thank you
for being cold hearted
and unkind to me.
Thank you
for not being there
everytime I needed you.
And most of all
thank you
for not loving me.
Because of that
I have learned
to be warm and kind
to myself.
Because of that
I have learned to trust myself
and now I'm strong enough
to chaste my forgotten dreams.
And because of that
I have learned
...to love me.

The Lion Of Love
Calling down the lion of love
Use me
Calling down the lion of love
Use me
So much to say
So much to time and space
I said it load and clear
Plot and make my case
I put it into rhythm
Sculpt it into rhyme
Wrap my secrets in a melody
Fire it at the fortress of your mind
And if after all I sing
You dont believe a thing
Thats alright
We got all night
Calling down the lion of love
Use me
Calling down the lion of love
Use me
Use my heart
Use my hands
Use me any way you can
Calling down the lion of love
So much trouble in the world
So much pain
Ive heard it all before
Ill hear it again
But Im trying to imagine
A world transformed by love
Open up my minds eye
And let the pictures flood
Imagine that its real
What does it look like, how does it feel
Hold the vision
Bring it down, spread it around
Calling down the lion of love
Use me
Calling down the lion of love
Use me
Use my vision
Use my voice
Ive had a vision
And Ive made my choice
Calling down the lion of love

I've learned
Ive learned that to love someone doesnt have to involve pain,
Ive learned that to have a friend you must be a friend first,
Ive learned that in time youll see your mistakes and learn from them,
Ive learned that to be alone sometimes is the best thing for you,
Ive learned that in order to love a person you must feel loved,
Ive learned that if your wrong admit it or youll never forgive yourself,
Ive learned that your first love will be a part of you and you may never forget,
Ive learned that in order to move on you must fix what was first wrong,
Ive learned that if you ever mess up, you can always start over again,
Ive learned that to be 'cool' doesnt involve pressure,
Ive learned to accept what I have and be happy,
Ive learned that people will come and go so tell the ones you love how you feel,
Ive learned that to respect yourself you must respect others,
Ive learned that your actions always involve consequences whether it be good or bad,
Ive learned that priceless words can mean the world to someone,
Ive learned that sometimes being silent is the best solution,
Ive learned to expect the unexpected,
Ive learned that healing a broken heart involves tears and pain,
Ive learned to see the world in the eyes of others,
And Ive learned that each new day is a day to touch a life.

I Am The Lion
There was a flood and many poor men were killed.
And that is why our house is built on the top of a hill.
The plains are like a friend, why can't we live on them?
And if a flood should come, why can't we run?
I am the lion, bellowing out in the night.
We had a cow, I left it alone to graze.
And walked to the stream and when I returned, it was stolen away.
But now the cow is gone and we don't need a farm.
We have not one thing they
would steal away.
I am the lion bellowing out at the night.
I am the lion bellowing out at the night.
I am......the lion.

Aima
The burden of guilt,
Self abuse;
But Aima came in and told me what went wrong!
And like narrowing the boundaries in the land of your muse;
But, i am seriously watching you.
The face of a broken hearted man,
The face of a broken hearted woman,
The face of a broken hearted boy,
The face of a broken hearted girl,
The face of a broken hearted lady,
The face of a broken hearted gentleman,
And like your bedtime stories with your bed-mates;
But, i have no customer service on this issue at hand.

In the Giving There's A Benefit
To have awakened is a good thing to be!
And I have learned,
In the many years it has taken me to do it...
That the being there for someone else,
Will not automatically be interpretated...
As an appreciation to be shown one day,
With a reciprocation known that's received.
I have learned,
There will be many taking others for granted...
With a doing which is believed,
A duty to misuse someone dependable.
Until a reality hits and a doing this is missed.
And a waiting to sit by a telephone,
Wishing to hear it ring is a familiar sound gone.
I have learned,
In the giving there's a benefit.
And I have learned,
Those who give are not desperate.
To have awakened is a good thing to be.
And I have learned,
Those who give are not desperate.
I have learned,
In the giving there's a benefit.
And I have learned...
To leave alone,
Those who take for granted...
Someone giving up their time to misuse.
I have learned,
In the giving there's a benefit.
And I have learned...
Those who give are not desperate.
Oh yes I've learned...
To leave alone,
Those who take for granted...
Someone giving up their time to abuse.

Kind Hearted Woman
By robert johnson
Ive got a kind hearted woman, she studies evil all the time.
Ive got a kind hearted woman, she studies evil all the time.
You would do to quit me just to have it on your mind.
Ive got a kind hearted woman, do anything in this world for me.
Ive got a kind hearted woman, do anything in this world for me.
But these evil hearted women, lord, and they will not let me be.
Now it aint but one thing makes mr. clapton drink.
I swear about how you treat me baby, I begin to think.
Oh baby, my life dont feel the same.
It breaks my heart when you call mr. so-and-sos name.
Shes a kind hearted woman, she studies evil all the time.
Shes a kind hearted woman, she studies evil all the time.
Youre best to quit me baby as just to have it on your mind.

Chicken Hearted
(bill justis)
My girlfriend slipped and fell
Now she's hanging from a cliff
I can't come to her rescue
But these flowers i must sniff
You see i'd really like to save her
But i aint got the nerve
I'm chicken hearted
I'm chicken hearted
I'm tryin' to kiss my girl
And it makes me want to faint
I'm scared of my own shadow
And afraid of what i ain't
I've no inspiration
I'm kinda yellow...
I'm chicken hearted,
I'm chicken hearted
Mama's in the workshop
Daddy's in the jail
I seem to be afraid
To go to work and make their bail
I guess my folks will have to stay there
Cos i'm just like a snail
I'm chicken hearted,
I'm chicken hearted

Broken Hearted People
Broken hearted people
We have all been dealt the mortal wound
Broken hearted people
We know that it is not a lethal wound
Broken hearted people
Loved like we all do
Until there is nothing left to lose
Broken hearted people
Have all paid our dues
Broken hearted people
We keep on loving because
Broken hearted people
We know there is nothing else to do
