Bedtime Story
The moon lies on the river
like a drop of oil.
The children come to the banks to be healed
of their wounds and bruises.
The fathers who gave them their wounds and bruises
come to be healed of their rage.
The mothers grow lovely; their faces soften,
the birds in their throats awake.
They all stand hand in hand
and the trees around them,
forever on the verge
of becoming one of them,
stop shuddering and speak their first word.
But that is not the beginning.
It is the end of the story,
and before we come to the end,
the mothers and fathers and children
must find their way to the river,
separately, with no one to guide them.
That is the long, pitiless part,
and it will scare you.

Healer
Hmm, hmm, hmm, hmm
Hmm, oh Lord, Lord
Hmm, hmm, hmm
hmm, hmm
Hmm, hmm, hmm
Blues a healer, all over the world
Blues a healer, healer, all over the world, all over the world
It healed me, it can heal you
The blues can heal you, early one morning
It can heal you
The blues can heal you
Yeah, yeah
It healed me, healed me
It healed me
I was down
I was down
It healed me
Lord, Lord, Lord, Lord, Lord, yes it did, yes it did
Look now
My woman left me
The blues healed me
My woman left me, left me early one morning
Hmm, hmm
The blues healed me, it healed me, healed me
Yeah, yeah!
Lord, Lord, Lord, Lord, Lord, Lord, Lord, Lord
Hmm, have mercy
The blues , the blues is a healer
Blues, blues, is a healing healer
it healed, healed, healed
Heal!
Heal, heal, heal!
All over the world, all over the world
It's a healer
One night, I was laying down, feeling so bad, so low, so low
My woman had left me, blues came along and healed me
Heal!
Heal!
(Carlos, it healed me, Carlos)
Carlos!
It healed me!
The blues, it healed , it healed, healer
Hey!
Hey!
Healed me!
Healed me!
Healer!
Hey!
Blues a healer
The blues a healer, all over the world, all over the world
Hmm
Lord, Lord, Lord
Blues a healer, all over the world, all over the world
Lord, Lord, Lord, Lord, Lord
Healed me, healed, healed, healed
It healed me
It healed me, to heal me
Can heal you, can heal you, heal you, if you let it

God’s Healing Hand
Almighty God’s healing hand, can touch the heart and soul of man,
The same hand which heals ills, can straighten out our twisted wills.
Christ who healed the multitudes, also healed hearts and attitudes,
The Lord can redirect any life, away from pains and darkened strife.
God will meet you where you are, dear friend, be it near or be it far.
For God leads a lost sinful soul, to His Son, who makes him whole.
He will give you new found sight, and put you on a path that’s right.
God will meet you in your night, to guide you out with His pure light.
Taking you from where you’ve been, by His Son, who heals our sin.
He then takes you to a higher place, as He leads you by His Grace.
God’s Eternal Healing for every life, is in the power of Jesus Christ.
Through His stripes we are healed, this is what Isaiah has revealed,
Stripes He received upon the cross, where Christ died for all the lost.
Isaiah and others had prophesied, about Christ who came and died,
Well before Christ walked on earth, well before Christ’s humble birth.
Although Christ healed many friend, He came to show a better end,
As all who one day leave this life, can live forever with Jesus Christ.
The stripes that He did receive, spiritually healed all who did believe.
Even today the stripes He bore, for men lead to God’s Eternal shore.
Beyond is eternal life, not death, eternal health and Heaven’s breath.

So this is the cage that I built
Why I built it I dont know
Its bars made of anger and guilt, no lock
But somehow it just wouldnt let me go
All hail the messenger of love
I got your message loud and clear
Now Im hungry to be healed
And you cant, you cant keep me away
Im free
When we are one, I am complete
Im free
And Im undone and I will be healed in your eyes
I had to close a door in my life for another one to open
So i, I could go through, though I had no guiding light
And no signs somehow it still lead me to you
I learned a lesson here in love
And its ringing loud and clear
Now Im ready to reveal all the things
That before I could never say
Im free
When we are one, I am complete
Im free
And Im undone and I will be healed in your eyes
All hail the messenger of love
I got your message loud and clear
Now Im hungry to be healed
And you cant, you cant keep me away
When we are one, I am complete,
And Im undone, and I will be healed in your eyes
When we are one, I am complete,
And Im undone, and I will be healed in your eyes...
Im free...

Hide Me In Your Wounds
Hide Me In Your Wounds
By your wounds, I am healed
Healed in running away from internal strife
In giving up when there is still something to give
Your precious wounds gave me the love
When I wanted to give love
And the beauty and receiving grace instead of misfortune
By your wounds, I am healed
I am a survivor, a winner
I sing a new song in my heart
I witness the breaking of a new dawn each day
By your wounds I am healed
I believe that any storms in my life shall pass
And live my life one day at a time
By your wounds, I am yours
To teach, to guide, to revive and to forgive
I have forgiven myself, as I have forgiven others who caused me pain
Thank you Jesus..for those wounds
And hide me forever…

Healed of My Hurt
Healed of my hurt, I laud the inhuman Sea--
Yea, bless the Angels Four that there convene;
For healed I am even by the pitiless breath
Distilled in wholesome dew named rosmarine.

In The Silence Of My Soul A Deepest Happiness
IN THE SILENCE OF MY SOUL A DEEPEST HAPPINESS
In the silence of my soul a deepest happiness
Why?
The promise of children of my children
God’s great blessing
After waiting so many years
Children of my children for my children -
I pray to God for all to be well.

Finally Free
The wound has healed
The scars are sealed
I can't feel it
Anymore
She can have you
I don't care
I'm am finally free
With nothing to hinder me
Do as you like
Do as you please
But nothing you do can hurt me
Watching you with others
Makes me smile
I am healed

Time Doesn`t Heal
What rubbish that people say..
False hopes at the end of the day..
Tradegy strikes and it doesnt stop there..
No it holds on, lingers and breaths on your very air..
It changes everything, who you are, how you think, your essence, it is you..
With all the ifs, buts, n maybes, why mes and what to do..
Every wish, every dream, is nothing, moving on is harder than it seems.....
In body, in mind, in motion, watching others in envy, as you live your shattered dreams..
Its blatant and true over the years, that my babies have stayed just so..
My arms still ache to hold them, breathe in their scent n protect them, you know..
If you see me in a world, all of my own, dreaming of the what might have beens..
Dont feel sorry for me, i want the images of these wonderful scenes..
I no longer have the innocense of it wont happen to me..
3 times fate has taken from me..
So time hasnt healed and my other children here in their own right..
I still mourn, I still cry into my pillow at night..
My boys, my babies, my memories, my no where land..
They live in me, my heart, my soul, my mind, my hand..
Time hasnt healed my gapping wound, its open and hurts just as much as the first day they were gone..
Time is a healer for those around me, whos memories of them have long gone..

The Woman with faith
For years you suffered
a dreadful decease
difficult was your life!
You heard
of the Lord Jesus
heard about His
healing powers
One morning you saw
Him passing by
you thought if you could
only touch His garment
you would be healed
your hand reached out
you touched His garment
What a faith you had
desired to be healed
to live life normally
and to be healed forever
courage you had
like no one else
You were healed
by the Lord's
healing power
He said:
'Courage my daughter
your faith
has made you well'
Your faith was
praiseworthy
strong enough
to move mountains
Blind faith
the faith
of a child
Faith you showed
too many
of us to move
mountains away
from our own will's
and desires

Teach Them Young
The shooting of Trayvon Martin is a symptom of
how conscious our culture is today.
We still have guns to keep our imagined
enemies at bay.
Who are our enemies if we are all one?
One God soul being scattered below the sun.
We should teach children when they are young
teach them acceptance, cooperation tolerance of
other cultures, show ways different culture have fun.
Have poor children be in a class where rich kids
help them out, teach them to walk in other shoes
in a world filled with hostility and doubt.
Have empathy for others and their plight
how to resolve misunderstandings without leading to a fight.
How will this world ever get passed the second grade
we are a planet that needs to evolve consciously if
we are to be a healed to even celebrate the Golden Age.

Children Rise Up
Children rise up
Children rise up
You are free
You are free
From Satan's reach
Children rise up
Lead the way
You are the light
That sees us through each day
Children Rise Up
You are from God
Made in his image
And closest to his heart
Children Rise Up
Young and Old
Go out and profess the word of God
With earnesty and with soul
Children Rise Up
You are special
You are special
More so than the God's angels
For you are the angels
The leaders of the world
The light from the darkness
The most precious of us all
We are the children
Each one of us
Young and Old
Are from God's soul
In Him we believe
In HIm we shall succeed
Through turmoil and toils
God protects us from Satan's ploys

Hurt. Healed. And Now Distanced
Hurt.
Healed.
And now distanced.
With an attitude that has abandoned,
The honesty of feelings.
With no need for a heart,
To show emotions that include love...
With a purpose to elude the topic of it.
One to ignore and to skip.
Hurt.
Healed.
And now distanced.
From thoughts of relationships.
When they appear to show up...
They are immediately dismissed.
Not permitted to wonder!
Or permitted to exist.
Relationships that close...
The door has shut.
Sealed. Bolted!
Hurt.
Healed.
And now distanced.

No Class Today
White snow stained black
The wound's closed
But hardly healed
Hands start frozen
Listening the air
That sounds like girl's chirp and boy's bark
No class today, children
No daily exam and calculation
I give you time to think
Before you're too old to regret
The years not going back
Leave it empty room
The world contaminated
And you inherite that
My tears fall
You lost in war
All the shout, shout, shout
No class today, my child
No another laugh and cry
I give us time to remember
The innocence soul's gone
By release you tomorrow
No class today, children
No peaceful boring day
I give my time to prepare
Smile good bye next morning

Twice Hail
Twice Hail
To the children
Of the place of the dawn
Hail, to the children
Twice children of the sun
Hail dark brown forms
You are the vertebrae
Its pristine strength
Has an intelligence soul
That knows the millions of years
Of the heavenly row boat.
Children of the sky scrappers
Children of the corn
Hail the great God
Who suffer no destruction
Exalted one, adored
By the coming forth
Of the souls of children
Who can say
The God of my God
In an intelligent way.

Jam On
If you think you can change the world...
World's runnin down
And people ain't relating to each other anymore
It's a different sound
This ain't no time to disrespect our brothers
Cause we're all in this together
And if our mission's to be true
It's got to start with me and you...so
Go and chance it for the planet
No time for, don't need war
For our children, no more killin
For all Man, take a stand
If you think you can change the world
Jam on!
Together we can change the world...
It's a cryin' sound
When intolerance and hatred break the silence in our soul
Where tears soak the ground, a flower grows
To prove that love's the power that still connects us all
And if confusion rules the day
Just got to find a different way
Go and chance it for the planet
No time for, don't need war
For our children, no more killin
For all Man, give a damn
If you think you can change the world
Jam on!
Together we can change the world...
If we come together for one thing
One cause, one song we can all sing
If wounds can be healed with a joyful sound
Jam On!

If Only
I cut my finger when you left the room,
The wound has healed long since then.
But the finger keeps bleeding, keeps bleeding
For reasons unknown to me.
I heard me stutter when you left the room,
The wound has healed long since then.
But my mind keeps stuttering, keeps stuttering
For reasons unknown to me.
If only I could remember
The tune I was whistling that day,
If only I could remember
The streets I had walked that day,
If only I could remember
If only, if only.
I saw me crying when you left the room,
The wound has healed long since then.
But my soul keeps crying, keeps crying
For reasons unknown to me.
If only you could tell me
Why Im smoking myself to death,
If only you could tell me
Why Im working myself to death,
If only you could tell me,
If only, if only.

Children Of Shadows
Children of bullying wake to a befallen doom
As they prepare for school
Not knowing what the day will behold
Everyone wants to be understood
Why must they be bullied?
You just don't know how it tarnishes their self esteem
It hurts so bad
Please stop!
Let me be
The pain is unbearable
So they see themselves as a shadow
Children of shadows don't want to be spit on
Children of shadows don't want to be laughed at
Children of shadows don't want to be humiliated
No one wants to be thrown in the trash
Children of shadows can overcome
Children of shadows can be loved
Children of shadows can be understood
Because we are not a shadow
But a fierce soul

What children know (understand)
Children know laughter
They know tears
Children know peace
They know chaos
Children know acceptance
They know rejection
Children know joy
They know pain
Children know abundance
They know lack
Children know health
They know illness
Children know fulfillment
They know emptiness
Children know hope
They know dismay
Children know love
They know hatred
What they don’t know is WHY!
