Our Indian politicians
Clad in white clothes from top to bottom,
These bright smiling faces are the symbol of our politics,
They determine the destiny of our country,
They are worried over the country's progress
As well as their commission,
They get in the work budget,
They are busy in siphoning off people's money.
Their exterior is very bright
But the interior is very dark,
They are eating away the country
As the white ant
eats away the wood.
They are hounds in the guise of
goat,
Who eats away its own little ones.
Their palatial residence,
Their fleet of luxury cars,
Are evident
Of their illegitimate earnings,
They can put even their country at stake
To serve their petty interest.
They make people fight
In the name of religion and region,
But all is not alike,
There are few among them who are really
Concerned for the future of the country,
The country is progressing by means of such leaders,
They have love and care for the country,
They are always ready to make sacrifice for the mother land,
But their number is so low that we could count them on fingers.

Girl with the long blonde hair
Girl with the long blonde hair,
you wiped a lost tear
out of your eye
when the jet
made the skyline of Los Angeles
fade away in the distance
and giant buildings
disappeared into naught.
So I wondered if you know
how a green country
with plains
and open spaces of the Karoo looks
and have you looked
at wild game grazing,
or will nature
be strange to you?
I couldn’t wait
to be back in my own country
and your opinions about apartheid,
knowing something
but without comprehension,
for a while
pinched me sore
and it was evident
that you didn’t really understand
and also that my country
are slowly but surely
falling to pieces.
I told you something
about my people,
about a country
where the sun always shine
and that I also
just want a place there
and the break
with your boyfriend in Iraq
had split your heart
in two
and we talked for a long time
and suddenly you comprehended
that Afrikaners are just like
any other people
and you were already half in love
when we had to part,
but it was apparent
that we are living
in two different worlds.

Facts Can Be What Whoever Says They Are
If from inception,
There had been no truth.
And from this a reality was based.
Any claims of fraudulence,
Can be denied.
Since prior to inception...
Truth was not a consideration.
And reality was what it was wished to be!
As far as interpretation of facts goes.
And facts can be what whoever says they are.
But when?
And in who's time...
Do they begin to be used for accountability purposes.
If truths are to be held self evident...
When is the constitutionality of consciousness applied?
If applied and how is that determined?
Note:
The word 'self evident' introduced into the English language
as an adjative in 1671.
Definition: 'evident' without proof or reasoning.
Evident: Clear to one's vision or understanding.

How we are using up our home, how we are living and polluting the planet is frightening. It was evident when I was a child. It's more evident now.
Impediment
Impediment!
Either in speech,
Or something done...
It's evident.
There is an impediment.
It's evidence.
And imminent is this impediment living.
Sitting and getting in the way not giving.
Impediment!
Either in speech,
Or something done...
Is evident.
There is an impediment.
It's evident.
An impediment...
Is evidence.
A flowered talking doesn't pay,
Today.
When much deceit,
Is released.
And it feeds and increases.
'Where are those truth and honest days? '
They are gone in thin air...
With respect that had been there!
There is an impediment!
Either in speech,
Or something done...
Is evident.
There is an impediment.
That is evidence and it's evident.
A flowered talking doesn't pay,
Today.
When much deceit,
Is released.
And it feeds and increases.
That is evidence and it's evident.
'Where are those truth and honest days? '
They are gone in thin air...

Sitting and getting in the way not giving.
That is evidence and it's evident.
Impediment!
Either in speech,
Or something done...
Is evident.
There is an impediment.
That's evident as evidenced.

Save Your Love
You were my woman and I was your man
You were good lookin
You know I was your biggest fan
You tried to teach me things I already knew
When you couldnt reach me
Girl, I think you knew that we were through
Baby, its over
Save your love, save it, save it
Save your love, save it, save it
Save your love, I dont want it (save your love)
Save it for someone else (save it, save it)
Save your love, I dont need it (save your love)
Put it back on the shelf
For somebody else
You said you love me, you may have been right
But hangin above me, girl,
You know that we would fight
You tried to change me and mess up my mind
Now, dont rearrange me
And girl, you know thats why youre left behind
Its over now
Save your love, save it, save it
Save your love, save it, save it
Save your love, I dont want it (save your love)
Save it for someone else (save it, save it)
Save your love, I dont need it (save your love)
Put it back on the shelf
For somebody else
Girl, you know its over
We had some good times
But now theyre gone, so long
Save your love, save it, save it
Save your love, save it, save it
Save your love, I dont want it (save your love)
Save it for someone else (save it, save it)
Save your love, I dont need it (save your love)
Put it back on the shelf
For somebody else
Save your love, I dont want it (save your love)
Save it for someone else (save it, save it)
Save your love, I dont need it (save your love)
Girl, I dont want it, save your love
Save your love, I dont want it (save your love)
Save it for someone else (save it, save it)
Save your love, I dont need it (save your love)
Girl, I dont want it, save your love
Save your love, I dont want it (save your love)
Save it for someone else (save it, save it)

The real heroes
Bearing the rage of elements
Far from their loved ones
Exposing their lives to danger
Yet remain firm and dedicated
To the safety of the country
They are real heroes who wake up in the night
When we are in the bed
They toil at the border
When we enjoy with our family
They also have families and friends
They also pine for them
But country is a priority for them
They forget everything for the sake of the country
They live for the country
And they die for the country
They are not among them who never miss
A single chance to earn money
And yet called heroes
These so called heroes put the honour
Of the country at stake
But our soldiers put their live at stake
To save the country from embarrassment
They are the pillars of the country.

And there are certain things, and they are evident, obviously, without being boring about it, but I mean obviously, the two evident and easy ones being Gandhi and Cry Freedom, there are things which I do care about very much and which I would like to stand up and be counted.

Save A Prayer ('Til The Morning After)
You saw me standing by the wall,
Corner of a main street
And the lights are flashing on your window sill
All alone ain't much fun,
So you're looking for the thrill
And you know just what it takes and where to go
Don't save a prayer for me now,
Save it 'til the morning after
No, don't say a prayer for me now,
Save it 'til the morning after
Feel the breeze deep on the inside,
Look you down into the well
If you can, you'll see the world in all his fire
Take a chance
(Like all dreamers can't find another way)
You don't have to dream it all, just live a day
Don't say a prayer for me now,
Save it 'til the morning after
No, don't say a prayer for me now,
Save it 'til the morning after
Save it 'til the morning after,
Save it till the morning after
Pretty looking road,
try to hold the rising floods that fill my skin
Don't ask me why I'll keep my promise,
I'll melt the ice
And you wanted to dance so I asked you to dance
But fear is in your soul
Some people call it a one night stand
But we can call it paradise
Don't say a prayer for me now,
Save it 'til the morning after
No, don't say a prayer for me now,
Save it 'til the morning after
Save it 'til the morning after
Save it 'til the morning after
Save it 'til the morning after
Save it 'til the morning after
Save a prayer 'til the morning after

Enough of turmoil
The country has witnessed enough of turmoil
The public anger is on rise and mood boils
No one feels secure in present day leadership
The sea is not rough but threatening the ships
How to cope up with immoral forces?
They are roaming with honor without any remorse?
This is the scene of today’s politics
No morality, no principles and ethics
Who will bell the cat and save?
What country has not done for them and gave?
Poor are still poor and face with cruel misery
Who can think of little respite which is essential and necessary?
Don't be disheartened with recent happenings
It is good omen and nice beginning
The big heads are exposed for wrong doings
They will be shamed their human being
No notes may save from public ire
They will provide examples for satire
Country can not be bartered or traded
Punishment for wrong acts is now really dreaded
They will be on run and we may rejoice
People have no good option or choice
Students, industrialists and woman are not secured
Country’s future is not at all assured
When revolution takes many heads may roll on surface
They may have to reply to people and certainly face
The coming days may prove very crucial
The movement can not be called prejudicial or racial
It has backing of popular will and support
They can’t suppress their voice and resort to
Such action may prove their waterloo on ground
Such outrage and public defraud is never found
The country can be put on top of everything
No person is allowed to do contrary or something
People can tolerate it to a certain level
They have given them enough time to perform and excel

Goodbye Middle America
The death of middle america is coming
What use to be the back bone of this country
Is disappearing fast
What the goverment said would save the country
Is killing the middle class
People going hungry in the country that feeds the world
What about our own who have gave all their lives
Who will come to their rescue
When life has gone astway
Wake up America
You fight for rights of others
Fight for your brothers and sisters
Wake up the goverment to their fate
Before it's to late
When poverty comes to your front gate

What Would It Take
Remember what you told me
That you would always be there
If you change your mind now
Oh, what would it take to save me
What would it take to save me now
Here comes another night
And all the stars are shining
Could I make it right
Woh, what would it take to save me
What would it take to save me now
Ohhh, what would it take
Whooo, what would it take
To save me
What would it take to save me
What would it take to save me now
Ohhh, what would it take
Whooo, what would it take
To save me
Of all the things I do
And everywhere they take me
You know what I go through
What would it take to save me
What would it take to save me now
What would it take to save me
What would it take to save me now

Put Some Drive In Your Country
Well I was raised on country classics
Like Roy Acuff and George Jones
Lord I loved to hear 'em
Sing all them old time country songs
But I really got excited 'bout the time I turned 15
That's the first time I heard Waylon and old Bocephus sing
They put some drive in their country that really turned me on
Yeah, put some drive in your country
Keep country drivin' on
When the music gets you movin'
You know that can't be wrong
Every time I hear that outlaw stuff on my car radio
It makes me wanna drive it just as fast as it will go
Put some drive in your country
Let's keep country drivin' on
We played some shows in Atlanta on Sunday afternoons
The gigs were packed and I was nervous
Cause I wanted folks to like my tunes
The crowds were full of younger people
They were all about my age
So I turned and told the band just before we walked on stage
Put some drive in your country fellas
We turned those people on
Yeah, put some drive in your country
Keep country drivin' on
When the music gets you dancin'
You know that can't be wrong
See I made myself a promise when I was just a kid
I'd mix southern rock and country and that's just what I did
Put some drive in your country
Keep country drivin' on
Put some drive in your country
Hey, let's keep country drivin' on
When the music gets you movin'
You know that can't be wrong
I still love old country
I ain't tryin' to put it down
Damn I miss Duanne Allman
I wish he was still around
Put some drive in the country
Keep country drivin' on
Put some drive in the country
Let's keep country drivin' on

South Africa Is Also My Country
From my birth South Africa is my own country
and my people can flee to an island
but my own culture and language stays holy
although this place is not safe,
I still trust on a much higher hand,
from my birth South Africa is my own country.
From my birth South Africa is my own country
even if the struggling government gives me resistance,
do oppress me with unfair laws,
even if nothing can stop the disintegration,
even if I am not safe against the onslaught,
from my birth South Africa is my own country.
From my birth South Africa is my own country,
even if some act with effrontery against my people
I come from a noble heritage,
I am proud on my Afrikaner lineage,
even if people and buildings are set alight,
from my birth South Africa is my own country.
From my birth South Africa is my own country
with no other place I have such a deep bond
and even if here I will never have any job,
I believe in God and a Christian church,
God himself still keeps my ways intact,
from my birth South Africa is my own country.
