But Don't Despair
Despair, if you must –
But how's it going to pull you through?
Despair, when you trust
Naught since then there's naught to do.
Despair, should you thrust
Aside your pride, your self-esteem.
And so despair, if it's dust,
The only substance that you deem.
Despair, when a gust
Of slightly breeze can break your stance.
And do despair, when lust
Is your interpretation of romance.
But don't despair, if you can care
About the plight of any other being.
And you can focus on the help,
Support, and altruistic further actions
For the seeing. Be believing,
As despair will start receding
All around – simply since you found
A way to steer you clear
From this: the very cause of your despair!
So give to others; give them all a helping lift:
Despair, you'll find will disappear –
And that has got to be a well-deserved
And saintly gift!

Despair Of The Early Morning
DESPAIR OF THE EARLY MORNING
Despair of the early morning
Despair of the darkness
Despair of the Despair
Despair of Old Age
Despair of the road closed
Despair of nothing to do
Despair of nowhere to go
Despair of endless errands
Despair of money running out
Despair of the message of Despair
One transmits to those one loves.
Despair that has to be resisted
Despair that the light of the day
Will help me overcome
Despair I will pray my way out of
Despair I will in the course of the day
Sometime overcome.
Not the great Despair
The unending Despair
The final Despair.
The small Despair of who I am and where I am now.
The Despair that still can be resisted,
By the writing of a few awkward lines
Early in the morning.

Despair Is Darkness
DESPAIR IS DARKNESS
Despair is darkness-
Despair is death inside and death in the world and death in one’s own sad soul-
Despair is no way out -
Despair is the place where one is forever stuck -
Despair is the realization that one has done what one could – and one is not going anywhere else-
Despair is the admission of failure-
Despair is no sign of help anywhere around-
Despair is so much lost-
Despair is one‘s life is over-
Despair is regret-
Despair is the sense that one will never have the time to have another chance -
Despair is ‘it’s finished’-
Despair is no way out-
Despair is going down and more down and more dark and more afraid all the time -
Despair is the scream which hurts and does not stop the hurting -
Despair is the understanding that even Death will not save one -
Despair is that the pain will never end-not even with death.
Despair is no way out again and again and again- without end.

My Despair Comes And Goes
My Despair comes and goes
It is not the ultimate despair,
The despair of those who have forever lost hope
The despair of those who have lost what they never will regain
The despair of those for whom there is no way out
No way to begin again
No hope in any way forever
My Despair comes and goes
It is a small Despair compared to many others
When I am in it of course
I believe it like theirs Hopeless forever hopeless
But then a new day begins,
Or a friendly voice says a friendly word
Or something good and positive happens
Or the weather changes
Or some hurt goes away
Some sign comes
And slowly slowly
I am not there anymore.
My Despair comes and goes
It is not the worst Despair
Not yet-
Yesterday I was in Despair
Today I am almost already not
I pray my writing this
Will help some despairing reader feel
They too will hope again.

Duet
Milestone:
All my troubles disappear,
When the dinner-bell I hear,
Over woodland, dale, and fell,
Swinging slow with solemn swell,---
The dinner-bell! the dinner-bell!
Hippy:
What can bid my heart-ache fly?
What can bid my heart-ache die?
What can all the ills dispel,
In my morbid frame that dwell?
The dinner-bell! the dinner-bell!
Both:
Hark!---along the tangled ground,
Loudly floats the pleasing sound!
Sportive Fauns to Dryads tell,
'Tis the cheerful dinner-bell!
The dinner-bell! the dinner-bell!

Rice Pudding
What is the matter with Mary Jane?
She's crying with all her might and main,
And she won't eat her dinner - rice pudding again -
What is the matter with Mary Jane?
What is the matter with Mary Jane?
I've promised her dolls and a daisy-chain,
And a book about animals - all in vain -
What is the matter with Mary Jane?
What is the matter with Mary Jane?
She's perfectly well, and she hasn't a pain;
But, look at her, now she's beginning again! -
What is the matter with Mary Jane?
What is the matter with Mary Jane?
I've promised her sweets and a ride in the train,
And I've begged her to stop for a bit and explain -
What is the matter with Mary Jane?
What is the matter with Mary Jane?
She's perfectly well and she hasn't a pain,
And it's lovely rice pudding for dinner again!
What is the matter with Mary Jane?

Thats The Way
I know you see me watchin
Although youre tryin to play it
Like you dont
When I know you do
Youve got the every want thing
That kind of every need thing
Youre what I want
So come give it up
Yeah I wont stop til I get what I want
So what am I to do
cause what I want is you
Baby, stop and think
What you and I could be
Together I know we
Can be perfectly complete
Baby, I can give you anything
If you promise to be with me
I promise I can make you happy
Thats the way our love should be
No one could love you better anyway
Youll never find another close to me
I promise I can make you happy
And thats the way our love should be
Why are you tryin to deny
Me of the lovin thats mine
Just let it go
Let me take control
Boy, I got just what you want
And all the love you need
Once you grab a hold
You wont let me go
I wont stop til I get what I want
So what am I to do
cause what I want is you
Baby, stop and think
What you and I could be
Together I know we
Can be perfectly complete
Baby, I can give you anything
If you promise to be with me
I promise I can make you happy
Thats the way our love should be

If you promise to be with me
I promise I can make you happy
Thats the way our love should be
No one could love you better anyway
Youll never find another close to me
I promise I can make you happy
And thats the way our love should be
If I let my actions speak
I guarantee you believe
How much I really do love you
If I could spend my whole life
Just looking into your eyes
Ill be happy just knowing youre with me
Baby, I can give you anything
If you promise to be with me
I promise I can make you happy
Thats the way our love should be
No one could love you better anyway
Youll never find another close to me
I promise I can make you happy

We Would Of Been Happy Together
What I want
I cannot have
I want him
And he don't want me
It's a shame
I could actually show him
I can and will care for him
I can promise I will do that
He won't let anyone in
If he only let me in
He would know I would never hurt him
My plan is to love him
I could show him the meaning of love
I can and will tell I love him everyday
He would be perfectly happy with me
And I would be perfectly happy with him
I actually think WE would be happy together

There is only one difference between a long life and a good dinner: that, in the dinner, the sweets come last.

Your children get a lot of good stuff out of your work... They benefit from the tales you tell over dinner. They learn from the things you explain to them about what you do. They brag about you at school. They learn that work is interesting, that it has dignity, that it is necessary and pleasing, and that it is a perfectly natural thing for both mothers and fathers to do... Your work enriches your children more than it deprives them.

Lullaby
Hello there, how was your day?
Sorry that I'm was away.
Hello there, how is the weather?
Sorry I'm not there to play....
I'm trying just to make it better for you
I know it's harder to understand
I'm always gonna love you
I promise you, I promise
I'm always thinking of you
I promise, I promise you
Hello there, why are you crying?
I know you're trying your best.
To be good now for your mother
Hold her and tell her and you're gonna be OK.
I never meant to make you feel so bad.
Hope someday you'll understand
I'm always gonna love you
I promose you, I promise
I'm always thinking of you
I promise, I promise you
I swear I'm gonna make it up to you
I know someday you'll understand
I'm always gonna love you
I promise you, I promise
Always thinking of you
I promise you, I promise

Point Of View
Thanksgiving dinner's sad and thankless
Christmas dinner's dark and blue
When you stop and try to see it
From the turkey's point of view.
Sunday dinner isn't sunny
Easter feasts are just bad luck
When you see it from the viewpoint
Of a chicken or a duck.
Oh how I once loved tuna salad
Pork and lobsters, lamb chops too
'Til I stopped and looked at dinner
From the dinner's point of view.

I Promise
I won't run away no more, I promise
Even when I get bored, I promise
Even when you lock me out, I promise
I say my prayers every night, I promise
I don't wish that I'm strict, I promise
The tantrums and the chilling chats, I promise
Even when the ship is wrecked, I promise
Tie me to the rotten deck, I promise
I won't fool around no more, I promise
Even when I get bored, I promise
Even when you lock me out, I promise
I say my prayers every night, I promise
I won't fool around no more, I promise

Keep The Promise
(j.p. maunick/r. bull/r. taylor)
Felt so good when we started
The future burnt so bright
From the moment our eyes met
We knew that it was so right
We have each other
And I believe we have the power
To make it happen
Chorus:
(keep the promise)
(can we keep the promise)
Can we keep it
(keep the promise alive)
Oh
(keep the promise)
(can we keep the promise)
(keep the promise alive)
I believe in the notion
We have dreams to fulfill
I believe in forever
I know that I always will
You are the reason
Baby I cannot shake this feelin
Lets make it happen
Repeat chorus
It gets better, it gets stronger all the time
And Ive discovered that theres one thing on my mind
Keep the promise alive
Chorus to fade

I Promise You
i would walk through the moon and the sun just to be with you i promise.
I promise to be there for you in all of your times of joy and sorrow.
I promise to climb the highest mountain and swim the deapest ocean for you alone.I promise to make a new memory with you each and every day with you.I Promise to cry a million tears and walk a million miles to be with you.I promise to live and care for you without change.I promise to do anything for you just to see the beauty of your ravishing smile.I promise to find a new way to see fires of passion burning.I would buy a thousand rose for you just to se you smile i promise.I promise to be the best dad to our children.I will laugh with you, i will fight with you, i will share the same breath with you i promise.I promise never to steal, lie, or cheat. But if i'll steal, i promise to steal away your sorrows. And if i'll lie, i promise to lie with you all thd nights of my life. And if i'll cheat, i promise to cheat your death, because i couldn't live a day without you.I promise you.

I Promise You That
Theres no breathing you should feel like this.
I know that I am the only one to play.
I feel you $ me
Its hidden in your keys, oh.
I dont believe that things Ive said and done.
I only hope therell the time to be the one.
We can work it out if only you let me, oh
Whatever you say
Whatever you do
There will be good times waiting for you
Whatever you hear
I wont disappear
I promise you that
I promise you that
I never said that I could chase the world
But if you give me the chance that Ill do so
I know that in your heart you can forgive me
Whatever you say
Whatever you do
There will be good time waiting for you
Whatever you hear
I wont disappear
I promise you that
I promise you that
Via times dont need I ####
Still there is time to turn it around
Im not saying its an easy thing
Let me show you
I promise you that
Whatever,whenever
Therell be good time(waiting for you)
Whatever you hear(whatever you hear)
I wont disappear
Whatever you say
Whatever you do
There will be good time waiting for you
Whatever you hear
I wont disappear
Whatever you say
Whatever you do
There will be good time waiting for you
Whatever you hear
I wont disappear

It's A Promise
When I get up in the morning and see first light
I remember it's a promise
When the sun begins to set with color
I remember it's a promise
When I stare up in the darkest night, and see brightest moonlight
I remember it's a promise
When a ray of light slices the clouds and it's pure
I remember it's a promise
When I see the majestic forest of green tree
I remember it's a promise
When I see the blue ocean
I remember it's a promise
When I see the sparkle of a star or the shining of the sun
I remember it's a promise
If I look into the stars and see a galaxy
I remember it's a promise
Somehow everything will be fine like the world around me
Because in everything there's a promise
And when a promise is bound by unfailing love
It can't be broken
That's a promise.

Renewal
Renewed from hatred
that strangulates the flow of love.
Renewed from anger
that bulldozes a mountain of understanding.
Renewed from pain
that shatters the windows of tomorrows.
Renewed from fear
that makes all days to dark nights.
Renewed from despair
that drowns the promise of hope.
Renew us, O Lord, from the malady
of hatred, anger, pain,
fear and despair.
And restore us to the bountiful promise
of strength, joy, faith and service
from the heart of Jesus.
