We will build new ships to carry man forward into the universe, to gain a new foothold on the moon and to prepare for new journeys to the worlds beyond our own.

Folly And The Peace

Distribute the folly among the people of nearness,
Tabulate their weaknesses, scribes are again.
A gain has been committed for the reality,
The worlds of greatness complain so they gain.
To folly we achieve our peace, but the great worlds
Inhibit this folly, for the goodness, for the belly of ache.
Forward they walk, backward they glance,
To act according to the peace and war has been achieved.

Upon The Journeys End

If you find hard times and troubles on the rock road ahead
If you find nothing but sorrow everytwhere you lay your head
No you wont fnd me a stranger
When you reall need a friend
Cause I wanna be there with you
Upon the journeys end
Yes I wanna be there with you
Upon the journeys end
When all the pain has you broken and there is no place to hide
When all your words have been spoken and theres nothing left inside
There I will be right beside you
I will cover you my friend
Cause I wanna be there with you
Upon the journeys end
Yes I wanna be there with you
Upon the journeys end
I will be strong
Ill help you carry on
When nothing and no one can stop us anymore
Oh oh oh
I will be there and I will always still say a prayer
After the mountains crumble
The stars and the moon and the sun all fade away
Oh when all your reasons for living have all but dissappeared
And when the boats youve been sailing you can no longer steer
There I will sail right behind you
On winds of love I sail
Cause I wanna be there with you
Upon the journeys end
Yes I wanna be there with you
Upon the journeys end
I can see a brighter day
I can see a better way
I can feel it coming very near
I feel like we belong
I can see whats right and whats wrong
Weve been waiting for so long now its here
If you find hard times and troubles on the rocky road ahead
If you find nothing but sorrow everywhere you lay your head
No you wont find me a stranger
When you really need a friend
Cause I wanna be there with you
Upon the journeys end
Yes I wanna be there with you
Upon the journeys end
Yes I wanna be there with you
Upon the journeys end

One Song

I am the universe
The sun, the moon and sea
I am the energy
4 that is what I believe
I can be contradiction
Cuz that is all I see
But I am the universe
And the universe is me
I am the one song (Ah yes)
And that one song is free
All things come from this one song (Yes they do, uh)
The garden and the tree
If everything, everything is present
What is will always be
This here is the first and the last song
And all that come between
When language falls like a wounded soldier
And it's covered by the sea
All the sadness
All these unanswered questions
Keep me company
(Company, company, company come 2 me, come 2 me please!)
Here at the center of it all
(I know)
I know that U can only come from me
(I am the universe)
Yes it will, oh, yes it will
(The sun, the moon and sea)
Where else is it gonna come from but me?
(I am the universe)
Oh my, my my my my my my my universe
(The universe is me)
(I am the universe)
(The sun, the moon and sea)
(I am the universe)
(We are the universe) {x2}
(The universe is me)
One truth (One truth)
One song (One song)
One energy

Maya

Maya this song's for you
I have your name print tattooed upon my skin
There's so much to say to you
And where do I begin?
Cos all these prayers must be going somewhere
Somewhere I can never trace
But it seems so far look in the stars
And the empty space
Chorus:
There are worlds within worlds, that keep rotating
And so many thoughts that flow through my mind
If this universe is really shrinking
We'll be together in time
I had a vision of this place
It looked like heaven but the colours seemed to change
And no matter what I do yeah
It's slowly fading away
So all of these prayers have to be going somewhere
Somewhere I can never trace
And one could get lost in all of these stars
And drift in space
Chorus:
There are worlds within worlds, that keep rotating
And so many thoughts that flow through my mind
If this universe is really shrinking
We'll be together in time
Chorus:
There are worlds within worlds, that keep rotating
And so many thoughts that flow through my mind
If this universe is really shrinking
We'll be together in time
Chorus:
There are worlds within worlds, that keep rotating
And so many thoughts that flow through my mind
If this universe is really shrinking
We'll be together in time

Seeing the world with god

i look through my body
at the world, the stars, moon
stars beyond stars
i know there are stars, moon
stars beyond stars too
from my temporary sphere
the aura that shines
from this physical self
the trillion of cells
all the moving atoms,
electrons, protons
the universe inside and out
i look at them
from my infinite self
god the puppeteer
shrewdly playing
the beginning, the end
the two walls
between the human brain
the man innocently walks
to oblivion
some attempt to broaden the width
others like me attempt to
to burst out of the walls
to take a peep outside
the limitations, this physical self
the world outside
the god inside and out
the moon, sun, universe
the things outside
i too have become a galaxy
as i join god to take
a look at his worlds
a meteor flashes by
a cell loses hold
flushed by blood
to another world
an infinite me
looking at the finite me
all the stars, moons,
universe outside
and inside
all the cells that i own
that soon would
squeeze me out
to join the plane
where i could view
the beat of the universe
the expansive universe
myself a galaxy

the zillion of selves
those stars, suns
spinning towards
a full stop?
eternity?
the human brain
stretched towards
a world of no end
suffocated in its attempt
i stand beside god
for just a moment
to take a peek at
all his workings
wondering all the motives
behind his pupputeering
the moons, the suns, the universe
the cells acting out his drama
round and round
casting off light
i saw a star burst
light light years away
the cancer patient
carrying a cell
that too has burst
soon to cast that black hole
over the finite self
the infinite journeys to
rest on another finite self
the universe
i standby the creator
to look at his puppeteering
wondering his motives
in his design
the privilege he gives me
to share a view
of his craft
my mind flying
outside the two walls
of the brain
instead of between
infinity
my body
the universe
i look at them
like the stars, moon, meteors
this infinite me
with a finite self
of stars, moons,
stars beyond stars

God's Light-Houses

1 When night falls on the earth, the sea
2 From east to west lies twinkling bright
3 With shining beams from beacons high
4 Which flash afar a friendly light.

5 The sailor's eyes, like eyes in prayer,
6 Turn unto them for guiding ray:
7 If storms obscure their radiance,
8 The great ships helpless grope their way.

9 When night falls on the earth, the sky
10 Looks like a wide, a boundless main.
11 Who knows what voyagers sail there?
12 Who names the ports they seek and gain?

13 Are not the stars like beacons set
14 To guide the argosies that go
15 From universe to universe,
16 Our little world above, below?--

17 On their great errands solemn bent,
18 In their vast journeys unaware
19 Of our small planet's name or place
20 Revolving in the lower air.

21 O thought too vast! O thought too glad!
22 An awe most rapturous it stirs.
23 From world to world God's beacons shine:
24 God means to save his mariners!

Fist Of Fire (alternate Version)

(Anderson Howe Wakeman Bruford)
Carry forth as a guardian to Kingdom Come
With your daggers of the spirit
Let the dagger run
With the Fist of Fire
Be the master now
As the darkness of ages past
Riches silver and gold
In the liquid see
Cast a net can you catch
So you can't see me
As in death you can climb
Higher thru the sky
Show your wings
Surely you can fly
Fly away past the guardian to Kingdom Come
See the miracle of life
Disappear it's gone
Go carry your silver ships of light
Go carry your silver ships of light
Go carry your silver ships of life
Go carry your silver ships of life
Go carry your silver ships of life
Keep the fire in your hand
It won't let you drown
As you fly with your wings
Won't come falling down
See the flower of youth
Disappear on high
As you gather your true wings
About to fly
To be ready
To be strong
Make it run
This righteous
This wrong
This right
This love
This is how nature controls
The way of all things
this is how the angels sing
Not afraid
No, not afraid
Not afraid of this or that
Not afraid
Carry forth as a guardian to Kingdom Come
With the ghost
And the spirit
Let the fire run
Thru the darkest age
We can surely fly
Thru the darkest age
With the Fist Of Fire
Thru the darkest age
With the Fist of Fire

Seashore

On the seashore of endless worlds children meet.
The infinite sky is motionless overhead
and the restless water is boisterous.
On the seashore of endless worlds
the children meet with shouts and dances.

They build their houses with sand
and they play with empty shells.
With withered leaves they weave their boats
and smilingly float them on the vast deep.
Children have their play on the seashore of worlds.

They know not how to swim, they know not how to cast nets.
Pearl fishers dive for pearls, merchants sail in their ships,
while children gather pebbles and scatter them again.
They seek not for hidden treasures, they know not how to cast nets.

The sea surges up with laughter
and pale gleams the smile of the sea beach.
Death-dealing waves sing meaningless ballads to the children,
even like a mother while rocking her baby's cradle.
The sea plays with children,
and pale gleams the smile of the sea beach.

On the seashore of endless worlds children meet.
Tempest roams in the pathless sky,
ships get wrecked in the trackless water,
death is abroad and children play.
On the seashore of endless worlds is the
great meeting of children.

Outside Myself

I look through my body
at the world, the stars, moons,
stars beyond stars
I know there are stars, moons
stars beyond stars too
circling all within my finite self
this temporary sphere I am crowned with
the aura that shines from these
trillion of cells
all the moving atoms,
electrons, protons,
the universe inside and out
I look at them
from my infinite self
god the puppeteer
skillfully playing
the beginning, the end
I came out of the two walls
the human brain is kept in
to take a peep at myself, the universe
the moons, suns, universe,
stars beyond stars
I find a galaxy I possess
so many stars, moons, suns
the cells blazing with life, light
all working out of my control
as I join god to take
a look at his worlds

a meteor flashes by
a cell loses hold
flushed by blood to another world
all the stars, moons,
universe outside and inside
all the cells that I own
that soon would squeeze me out
to join the plane

Your expressions

you leave
your expressions
in so many media
water, wind, metal, wood
and from them
you drive legs, wings,
growths and desires
into so many worlds
that crowd the universe
suns, moons, stars
worlds within worlds
astounded your wildest creation
who could only ape your ways
your plans and designs bursting
in my every cell
perhaps you had
been over ambitious
and i the runaway one
has to be cautioned
through every commandment
to contain the worst
of your creative jests
to douse the destructive leanings
a constructive world
you build into our head
to pit against the
other world you allow to thrive
like how bateria tear
down my beautiful white teeth over the years

Universe

Often I have wondered,
Watching the full moon rise over the mountains
At dusk- if some day I could
Travel along its pathway as it
Revolves about the earth, and perhaps even find myself
Riding bareback on a comet- and landing,
To build a home there on the moon-
I know I could never plant a tree there,
That there are no rivers there
To walk along, or no highways to drive upon
That would lead me to that eternal paradise of my fantasies-
Wherever it may be?
If I could find myself alone,
Standing upon a magical mountain above
One of the moon’s phenomenal craters-
In my solitude I could let my imagination
Carry me to other places in the universe
Towards where I could escape the
Wars, famine and destitution of the earth-
Towards Venus I would fly if I could, or
Towards Mars while becoming a nightingale in my wildest dream-
The rings of Saturn I have always found intriguing and
Almost striking in their splendor-
Inside the fortress of my wildest dreams I know that
The sun has given us light here for countless centuries,
And most likely- shall be present countless more-
And as magnificent and mystifying as the planets are-
They are beyond my reach- except within my fondest reverie-
In a dream, no matter day or night- however, I can
Let my phantasmal spirit carry me light years away,
Happy to be soaring across the universe through that sky of
Cerulean blue- without my dreams, I would have no destination,
Often I have wondered – as I look upwards towards the stars
In the midnight sky- if it truly matters how far away they are- as
They were born and created eons past to add some splendor and enchantment
To the billions of people here on this planet earth - as well as
The thrill and sorcery of wondering what we do not know-

Sailing in Sinbad's Uncharted Sea

Probing the stars and the cosmos
With science, poetry and art
We expand constantly further and farther,
Exploring the shores of the unplumbed.

We are space travelers
in an endless imaginary universe and
in many ways our journeys are not unlike
the fantastic voyages of Sinbad the Sailor
throughout the enchanted Seven Seas.

Sailing the stormy oceans
of the boundless unknown
we travel in brassy ships loaded
with the heavy cargoes of refined words,
elegant forms and amorphous ideas.

Yet even the most precise tool
in our arsenal, Mathematics,
turns to be a social construct:
An invented world.
After all, numbers don't grow on trees.

As it turns out, the correlation
between mathematics and nature
does not have a secure base.
The arithmetic anchor can not hold
the boat of the infinite.

Nevertheless, the human mind
is a fascinating macrocosm.
It mirrors the creative forces
of the physical world,
of which we are an integral part.

And so, in the final analysis,
Mathematics, science and art
are all invented worlds,
creative semiotic ventures.

We live in a metaphoric universe.
We perceive, envision, structure
and interpret reality by ways of symbols.
