Man Of 1,000 Faces
I walk the streets by day, I never know quite what to say
It doesnt matter anyway
Man of a 1000 faces, man of a 1000 faces, man of a 1000 faces, whos the man
For years Ive lived inside my dreams
Somehow Ive made them real, it seems
I made my own rules, because I am a
Man of a 1000 faces, man of a 1000 faces, man of a 1000 faces, whos the man
I can put on any face, you all know me, but its no disgrace
The king of night, he understands
Man of a 1000 faces, man of a 1000 faces, man of a 1000 faces, whos the man
Whos the man of a 1000 faces, whos the man of a 1000 faces
Whos the man of a 1000 faces, whos the man
Im the man, Im the man, Im the man, Im the man
Im the man of a 1000 faces, Im the man of a 1000 faces
Im the man of a 1000 faces, Im the man
Im the man, Im the man, Im the man, Im the man (to fade)

We’re poor people Your Honour
We get some bones the dogs didn’t want
We know what you’ll say so just don’t
We get some nice music from your studio
And really nice soc-vision video
Economically speaking
We are the secondary consumers
Scattered around different containers
Underbridge death entertainers
And it’s really not our fault
We are sort of under default
On your roaring statistic scales
Of whatever remains or prevails
Note: ‘secondary consumers’ is a viable economic term for people who use used-up products

1000 Years
If only we talked it out a little more
You might never have gone away
If only I tried
Instead of making for the door
Youd be loving me still today
And if Id only been a little wiser
You knew I knew the lies you told
But you thought I didnt care
And if Id only shown my love
In so many different ways
If only youd stayed
And in 1000 years
Ill still be thinking of you
Though in 1000 years
My love will have gone
But in a 1000 years
Well probably be together
But right now youre gone
If only I had you back again right now
Wouldnt ask for a thing, I know
Except to say Im sorry, and how
And the wisdom to let it show
And if Id only looked a little deeper
Each time I saw you weeping
And how I wished I held you close
Cause if I only shown my love
In so many different ways
Baby youd want to stay
And in 1000 years
Ill still be thinking of you
Though in 1000 years
My love will have gone
But in a 1000 years
Well probably be together
But right now youre gone
And in 1000 years
(Ill still be thinking of you)
1000 years
(my love will be long gone)
1000 years
(well probably be together forever)
1000 years
(Ill still be thinking of you)
1000 years
(whaaa whooo)

Happy Fourth of July America!
Wanna' know how many lil' kids
Go to bed hungry in the U.SA
Each night?
If I said "over a million"
Would you sleep any
less sound tonight?
And how many of you
Would agree with me
That being a kid can be rough?
Well…over six million American kids
Get either very little food…each day
Or simply not enough.
Feelin' uncomfortable yet? I hope so! ! !
Think about it, when you're chowin' down
This bountiful 4th of July
Foreign aid paid in one year to 150 countries
Including some enemies, is 58 billion, more or less
All paid by you and I
Our roads and bridges need 2.2 trillion dollars
To be repaired and fixed
And brought up to a safe state
And all the while America crumbles
We've spent more than a trillion (not including Libya)
If futile wars in Afghanistan and Iraq… to date
And one other lil' statistic That I carped about before
on the 4th of July a couple years ago
In a little noticed, seemingly inconsequential poem
Has grown to 6440 American boys killed in action
I hate this statistic! ! It's cruel and sadistic! !
And By God… they should have been kept home! ! !
These are numbers and statistics
Too great for comprehension… by
Ordinary people like you and I
But I hope there's someone out there
That I've made a little bit more aware
And… to my complacent, naïve fellow Americans
A bountiful, happy Fourth of July
(To our leaders)

Spam & Eggs?
Middle class are now social dregs
Using food stamps instead of cash
Give up steak for spam & eggs
Soon may forage dumpster trash

“Lillie Gonzales does whatever it takes to provide for three ravenous sons who live under her roof. She grows her own vegetables at home on Kauai, runs her own small business and like a record 42 million other Americans, she relies on food stamps.
With more than 1 in 8 Americans now on food stamps, participation in the program has jumped about 70 percent from 26 million in May 2007, while the nation's unemployment rate rose from 4.3 percent to 9.2 percent through September of this year.
'We've seen a huge increase in participation due to the economic downturn, ' said Jean Daniel, a spokeswoman for the USDA's Food and Nutrition Service. 'That's the way this program was designed.'

Another statistic
i Don't wanna be another statistic
some girl who has no money
who steals to help and support
a girl who has nothing
or no one anymore
i dont wanna be another statistic
some suicidal teen
who has nothing left to live for
and nothing to believe
i dont wanna be another statistic
someone who gets in trouble
for nothing and everything
someone with bad grades
who has no chance of graduating
i dont wanna be another statistic
a girl who doesnt go to college
and one who doesnt graduate
or has a college degree
to be a young girl, a slum in the streets
i dont wanna be another statistic
another girl locked up
who doesnt have a famiy
cause they cant keep thenselves straight
i dont wanna be another statistic
a girl who just wanted fun
didnt use protection
didnt think the consequences
pregnant without a father
no money or support
i dont wanna be a statistic
a girl without a dream
crushed by other people
cause they didnt think it could ever be
now shes living on the streets
begging people for money
i dont wanna be another statistic
a girl so well behaved
so sweet
with everything going for her
left alone one night
trauma turned her around
now shes gone
i dont wanna end up dead, poor, pregnant or even a dropp out.
i dont wanna get in trouble, locked up, or homeless
i'll be me
i wont let anyone change who i am

An Epidemic Of Melancholy Proportions
an epidemic of melancholy proportions
is sweeping through many societies countries
despair dejection sadness misery hopelessness
are recession downturn decline consequences
suicide globally haunts many countries cultures
suicide globally engulfs preys upon countries cultures
many countries cultures ethnic societies
never even developed coined a word for depression
yet globally according to recent studies
fifty percent of women suffer episodes of depression
yearly mainly
each at least
a single episode
as opposed
to only ten
percent of men
ask the question
is depression
an issue the world
should take seriously...
one million people a year
are cured permanently
one million people a year succeed
in their attempts at suicide
issue depression needs countries cultures to address
society wide ways to address negative mind problems
depression has become a diabolical mind field killer
when will we learn to honour all our human family?
