Warren Spector is amazing, and his team is as good as any in the business. Shame to see all the revenues from their game entangled with all the madness of the Dallas office.

Dallas
[ jimmie dale gilmore ]
Chorus:
Did you ever see dallas from a dc-9 at night?
Dallas is a jewel
Yeah, dallas is a beautiful sight
Dallas is a jungle
But dallas gives a beautiful light
Did you ever see dallas from a dc-9 at night?
Now dallas is a woman who will walk on you when youre down
But when you are up shes the kind you wanna take around
Now dallas aint a woman to help you get your feet on the ground
And dallas is a woman who will walk on you when youre down
Oh, I came into dallas with the bright lights on my mind
I came into dallas with a dollar and a dime
Dallas is a rich man with a death wish in his eyes
A steel concrete soul with a warm-hearted love in disguise
A rich man who tends to believe in his own lies
I say, dallas is a rich man with a death wish in his yes
Oh, I came into dallas with the brights lights on my mind
I came into dallas with a dollar and a dime

Envied
Digging deep,
For signs of credibility...
Being swept along streets,
To catch between the grated holes...
A mass marketing sweeps,
Those of vacant minds into consumed
Materialistic hysteria!
Keeping back orders of ridiculousness in business!
It's amazing this BS is tax free.
It's amazing,
Just how crazed this madness is these days.
The sight of squeezed fat ugly butts,
Into imaginations stretched beyond...
Digusting jellied guts.
To hide a gluttony of sad habits.
Like a 'secret' tote that's puffed,
From that 'weed' folks can not give up!
As a few stand by and watch...
This drug infested simmering stew brew!
It's amazing this BS is tax free.
It's amazing,
Just how crazed this madness is these days.
And as amazing as it is,
It does not daze or faze at all!
The unconscious have been immunized.
Once dumbfounded and surprised?
Those eyes are now glazed.
It's amazing this BS is tax free.
It's amazing,
Just how crazed this madness is these days.
Those in this 'conditional' situation,
Ride this gutter ride as if it is envied.
As if this life of dismissed consciousness is sought,
By those thought to be kept at bay and disadvantaged!
And those used to maintain those images...
Pray for the salvation of their sanctuaries,
To stay off the radar for such 'missionaries'...
To advance upon them with these teachings of their ways!

I'm thrilled, I'm grateful, I'm blessed. I played for the world's greatest professional sports team in history. Once a Dallas Cowboy, always a Dallas Cowboy.
New Biography
See youve got the new biography
Where did they get the info from
Same as before some, so called friends
Who claim to have, known me then
How come theyve got such good memories
And I cant even remember last week
Got to queston where theyre coming from
What knowledge of me is it that they speak
So far away, way back when
The people that claim, to have known me then
Not on my wavelength and its such a shame
That they have to play the name game
The fame game, oh the name game,
Lord its a cryin shame
Lord tell me whats to blame
Reinvented all the stories they know
Give them all a different slant
What is it that theyre really looking for
Just a hobby on the internet
So far away, way back when
The people that claim, to have known me then
Not on my wavelength and its such a shame
That they have to play the name game
The fame game, the name game,
Oh its such a cryin shame, tell me whos to blame
If they didnt really know me way back
How can they know me now, in any respect
Its a pity they dont feel the pain
That they should pay the price to play, to play
The fame game, the name game
Its such a cryin shame, please tell me whos to blame
Not on my wavelength and its such a shame
That they have to play, have to play the fame game
Oh the name game, its a cryin shame
Please tell me whos to blame
They keep on playin
The fame game, oh the name game
Its such a cryin shame, please tell me whos to blame
Keep on playin the fame game
Lord, the name game, its such a cryin shame
Please tell me whos to blame
They just keep on playin the fame game
Oh the name game, its such a cryin shame
Please tell me whos to blame
Keep on, keep on playin..

Suppose Football Does Serve A Purpose
Suppose football does serve a purpose some males do need other interests in their lives
Than working or drinking of alcohol or arguing with or making love to their girl friends or wives
On saturday they go to the football to cheer on their team win or lose
'Tis better for them than going to the local and wasting their money on the booze
At least watching football they won't be losing brain cells as they do when they are on the grog
And next day feeling nauseated and hung over and as sick as a very sick dog
Their partners and wives happy to see them going to the football for to support their football club
They feel that for them it is far better than guzzling down grog at the pub
In football there can be disappointments when your team does not win the game
But for every winner there is a loser and to lose should never be a shame
There's more to life than grog and work and women there is that marvellous game known as football
To you and many others 'tis a passion and your team to you is the greatest team of all.

The night before the football match
It's the night before the Saturday match
will the team let us down again?
Got a good feeling we'll be smiling
instead of leaving full of pain.
Hope our new striker gets a goal
and our defence is like a brick wall
we totally outplay the opposition
with lots of goals and superb football.
But then again we've sold players
and we haven't won a game yet
and the team we're playing are unbeaten
so I won't be putting money on us in a bet.
Anyway can't wait for Saturday to come
and to go and cheer the team on to victory
and even if our team gets a hammering
there's no other place I'd rather be!

Its A Shame, Its A Game
(hicks / horton jennings)
Out last night in my sunday stripes
(you didnt want to know me)
At the tuesday hop if I wear drainpipes
(you say youre gonna throw me)
The way you treat mes frightening
Strike me down like lightning
You know its a shame (you didnt want to know)
Its a game (you say youre gonna throw me)
Out of town theres a story round
(youre staying with another)
At the picture show so the rumour goes
(youve been playing with my brother)
I dont know where Im standing
You give me such a bumpy landing
Its a shame (youre staying with another)
Its a game (youve been playing with my brother)
Getting a bad reaction
Chasin my girls best friend
Wonder should I walk on home
Plan a break-up or shake hands and make up again
Its a shame, its a game (its a a shame its a game)
Wah ooh
Its a shame, its a game
Wah ooh
I was out tonight looking wild in white
(you didnt want to know me)
Tried to catch a hint on how to jive
(you didnt want to show me)
I havent got a dogs chance
If I dont know how to hip-dance
Its a shame (you didnt want to know me)
Its a game (you didnt want to show me)
Wah ooh
I really felt hip wearing my stripes, baby its a shame
(its a shame, its a game)
And I really thought my drainpipes were outta sight yeah, its a shame
(its a shame, its a game)
Well, you struck me down like lightning, baby, I didnt know what to do, ha
(its a shame, its a game)
Theres so many rumors about me and about you I dont know what to do
Its a shame I dont know what to do, baby I need ya
(its a shame, its a game)
Oh, cmon and teach me how to hip jive
(its a shame, its a game)

Lucky Man
Just so many seasons in a lifetime.
Just so many innings in the game.
Years I spent toiling in Ruth’s shadow,
Batting my way to the hall of fame.
I proudly wore the mantle of the Captain
Which Ruth held just one day (to his great shame)
I stepped aside when I was struck by sickness
-my life a shortened, but official, game.
And now another Yankee claims my record-
a man like me who battles for the prize.
The Angels say he plays the game the right way.
He is a worthy Captain in my eyes.
The park is new, the team is good this season
My seat is in the grandstand way up high.
Remember my farewell one distant summer.
When I alone knew how I was to die.

I don't believe in team motivation. I believe in getting a team prepared so it knows it will have the necessary confidence when it steps on a field and be prepared to play a good game.

Tis Football
'Tis football is the big World game of today
Grid Iron the big game of the U S of A,
Rugby League, Rugby Union and Aussie Rules Football
And soccer the biggest World game of them all
Gaelic Football a field game the Irish do play
Football in it's many codes the big World game of today
Football supporters Worldwide their team and their club colours wear
And in International games in their National colours they even dye their hair
Some men love their football team as much as their parents, children or wives
Yes football is one of the great loves of their lives
When their team does win the club song they do sing
But a loss to their weekend great sadness does bring
All over the World many codes of football
And to each their own code the best game of all.

I once loved this game. But after being traded four times, I realized that it's nothing but a business. I treat my horses better than the owners treat us. It's a shame they've destroyed my love for the game.

Sicker Soccer
The £10,000 a week defender can’t quite
catch the £20,000 striker who's got
the ball at his nimble, expensive feet, the stadium yelling
fit to raise the roof – what does he do? why,
he pulls the striker’s shirt, of course…; the ref, the commentators
remain silent. We, we were told off at nursery classes,
for pulling little Johnny’s shirt… I mean, for Pele’s sake,
what is this about? ! ..
then at the end of the game (one side’s got to win,
you’d think the fans are like they used to be,
paid good money to watch a good match)
the managers spit out their gum, pat each other on the back
whilst walking away, and not looking each other in the eye…
none of that love of the game stuff, the sparkling eyes
of those who love their sport, shaking hands
with a worthy opponent…ha…
and as for cricket – ‘sledging’ – can you believe it?
making sneery remarks to the batsmen while you stand in close…
never happened when sport was something you
enjoyed, loved to do, enjoyed the challenge and the company…
‘oh it’s all in good fun’… yeah?
tennis, being one-on-one, ain’t so bad; psych yourself up
but put the venom in your shots; but then,
when the match ends, run up to the net (or so they
used to) , eyes meet, shake hands, a few words? not
so often – shake hands without making
eye-contact, off to thank the umpire who's
up there out of reach…
it’s like some sorta natural law: when sport is a game
like life, the game’s the thing, and well-played, sir; pay
your ‘sportsmen’, your mercenaries, in the name
of ‘popular entertainment’ and big business, and
something disappears, as revenues increase;
how long before poetry becomes
a ‘spectator sport’ with a World Slam League out there
and TV rights?

Madness Of The Crowds
[On European Version Single]
Sightless the one who relys on promise
Blind he who follows the path of vows
Deaf he who tolerates words of deception
But they who fathom the truth bellow
Shout! Shout! The madness of the crowds hail insane
The madness of the game
Guilty the one with his silent knowledge
Exploiting innocence for himself
Dangerous he whom our faith was given
Broad is the road leading straight to hell
Shout! Shout! The madness of the crowds hail insane
The madness of the game
Dangerous he whom our faith was given
Broad is the road leading straight to hell
Shout! Shout! The madness of the crowds hail insane
The madness of the game

“it’s Amazing”
My eyes may close, yet I see your gentle face
It’s amazing
In silence, I hear the rhythm of your heart
It’s amazing
I touch your skin and feel your love
It’s amazing
Your scent releases all my memories of you
It’s amazing
I taste the sweetness of your ruby lips
It’s amazing
I cease all thought that my soul may speak to you
It’s amazing
Asleep I loose my spirit that I may find yours
It’s amazing
Yes…
It’s all so amazing

Fighting The Odds
It was a wet fall day.
Leaves falling off the trees as if they were helicopters landing on the ground.
I was on my way to me final soccer game of the season.
I was not sure if I would be playing or not because my temperature was 100 degrees.
My head felt like a 100 pound weight pushing me to the ground.
But I had to play because I had started every game in goal and I was just not able to let my team down on the undefeated season and the division title.
I was dizzy and felt like I was just been pushed around on a spinner at the local park. It was a feeling that I will never forget, it has been 5 years and I still remember this feeling.
The referee blew the whistle to show that the game was over after the 70 minutes of harsh play.
My team was as happy as winning a lottery!
After the game we took a team photo by the goal with everyone one holding up one finger to show that we are number one.
Everyone was as excited as can be because our team was not expected to do this well this season.
In the ending I had to have brain surgery because I had a rare sickness called encephalitis.
But it was worth playing in the rain playing a game I will never forget.

Love Is Our Business
Dont' need a vacation to get work off our minds
Me and my baby we beg for overtime
We'd stay on the clock 'round the clock if we could
Love is our business and business is good
Love is our business and business is booming
It don't seem like work 'cause we love what we're doing
Satisfaction guaranteed and that's understanding
Love is our business and business is good
We keep climbing higher on the ladder of success
Who'd want to retire with benefits like this
Don't even close on Christmas even though we know we should
Love is our business and business is good
Love is our business and business is booming
It don't seem like work 'cause we love what we're doing
Satisfaction guaranteed and that's understanding
Love is our business and business is good
Yeah, love is our business and business is booming
It don't seem like work 'cause we love what we're doing
Satisfaction guaranteed and that's understanding
Love is our business and business is good
Satisfaction guaranteed and that's understanding
Love is our business and business is good

Their Football Team To Them Important
Their flags and their banners they are waving with joy and excitement they shout
The hero has kicked the winning goal but what are they shouting about
To them it should not really matter 'tis only a game of football
But to them it is very important and their's is the best team of all.
At least that is how they do see it their lives revolves around their team
When their team win a huge boost to their egos and a loss bad for their self esteem
Last week their team lost in a thriller but their loss reduced them to tears
And tonight they will sing their Club song in the Local and celebrate with a few beers.
They look forward to the football Season and they live for the love of the game
And on their bedroom walls a poster sized photograph of their heroes and they know every player by name
Why do they take football so serious they talk about it at work every day
But suppose each of us have our own passions and each to their own one might say.
Their flags and their banners they are waving as proudly they sing their Club song
And they look forward to next weekend's game each day till then for them too long
Their football team to them important their lives revolve around the game
And each time their heroes are defeated the umpires for the loss they will blame.
