The shyness
Confidence means surmounting shyness.
Shyness will block you from performance.
Fear of ridicule in case you fail
And the doubt you have in your ability
Cause you a mild fear, which is shyness
And which preserves your sensitiveness.

I think we all have blocks between us and the best version of ourselves, whether it's shyness, insecurity, anxiety, whether it's a physical block, and the story of a person overcoming that block to their best self. It's truly inspiring because I think all of us are engaged in that every day.

I started studying shyness in adults in 1972. Shyness operates at so many different levels. Out of that research came the Stanford shyness clinic in 1977.

A Heavy Load
You travel down the road
carrying a heavy load
and hit a stumbling block that's new.
It doesn't even surprise you
for there's been more than a few.
Looking back you realize
it's a miracle you're still here.
Sickness, pain and loss
have brought too many a tear
on each additional year.
When you hear of other's plights
your load seems not as bad.
There are always other people
whose loads are much more sad
than what it is you've had.
That cross that's on your shoulder
will be lifted eventually.
And all the stumbling blocks
will be removed momentously
as you meet eternity.

Actually It's Darkness
You thought the fire could protect you from it
But why have you been so, why have you been ill informed?
I felt that fire could protect me from everything
Youre just too gullible
Actually its darkness, I dont know what Im scared of
Its darkness, I must be scared of something
You must be scared of something, quite quite special
You shed a shade of shyness
You shed a shade of shyness
You shed a shade of shyness
Why cant you be more cynical?
I knew the winter could protect me from it
One box if film wont make it all go cold
I thought that winter could hide me from everything
Im just too gullible, for words
Actually its darkness, I dont know what Im scared of
Its darkness, I must be scared of something
You must be scared of something, quite quite special
You shed a shade of shyness
You shed a shade of shyness
You shed a shade of shyness
Why cant you be more cynical?
I dont look the same in the photograph
I need to look the way I did in the photograph
By mentioning places it will all become clear
If we speak the same language, youre a deeper darker reason...
You shed a shade of shyness
You shed a shade of shyness
You shed a shade of shyness
Why cant you be more cynical

Blossom enough
It is her sheer shyness that drew me to her.
It is for her very shyness that I loved her.
The shyness put her lust in store and seal.
To boil the lust and break the seal is my zeal.
We study in a class year after year without a pass.
Over the lesson, neither of us got bored.
In repetition of same emotional exchanges
Without any advance, neither of us abhorred.
Yes, blossom has only fragrance, not seeding.

A stumbling block?
the one metre fence
the horse has jumped
over it
is it a stumbling block
or a challenge?
that's the question
that goes rumbling
in my mind

Block It Out
All the hurt inside me
I just block it out
All those tears i need to cry
I just block them out
All those memories of past years
That would still make me cry
I never said goodbye
I'm scared that if i let them out
They'll never stop
I've got a reputation of being happy
Always on top
I can't let them down
Let them see me frown
I just block it out
I just block it out

Personal
Anything you want from me
Ill do
But first
Lets get personal
Personal
Personal
Personal
Lets get personal
Personal
Personal
Personal
Personal with you
Were sittin havin dinner at your parents home
Some of the finest food Ive ever known
But I need some sweetness on my tongue
And it aint a type of sugar oh no
So maybe we can go somewhere
Neighbour room girl I dont care
Wheres the bedroom
(its upstairs)
Ill meet you there in a minute
Girl so we can get
Lets get personal (ooh yeah)
Personal (tight baby)
Personal (maybe we can get)
Personal (just a little, just a little bit)
Lets get personal (ooh yay)
Personal (I wanna get personal)
Personal (come on baby, just trust me)
Personal (I wanna get)
Personal with you
Im behind you in your bedroom with your hands against the wall
But keeping one eye on the door
Got your t-shirt and your panties on
Ooh I feel so right, cant be wrong, no
I know you like it when I touch you there
Girl just keep it quiet or theyll hear
Feel the tremblin all down your leg
Id love to head to your bed
So that we can get
Personal
Shhh
Should I take off my clothes (no)
Put the lock on the door
Let go of your deepest inhibitions
Let me fulfil your fantasies girl
Like me touching you there (yeah)
The way that I play with your hair
Emotions running wild until we stop
Yeah
Lets get personal (ooh baby)
Personal (I wanna get personal with you)
Personal (we can do anything you wanna do)
Personal (whoah)
Lets get personal (when you rub and youre close to me)
Personal (feel the fire just like ecstasy)
Personal (girl and the way that youre touching me I want it baby all the time)
Personal
Personal with you
Oh I want to
Make love to you
So lets
Get personal
Let me be
Your fantasy
Youre all
I need oh girl
Lets get personal
Personal (with every little thing you do)
Personal (its like ecstasy baby)
Personal (when Im right when Im back next to you)
Personal (girl I dont give a damn about)
Personal (whos that saw, go downstairs)
Personal (I just wanna get personal baby)
Personal (so bad makes me wanna say)
Oh whoa whoa whoa
It makes me wanna say
Oh whoa whoa whoa
All of my people say
Oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh

Woman’s self esteem
Woman has empowered herself
In the field of societal status,
Education and profession,
Thank to modernization.
With that has grown her self esteem,
Which stands as a stumbling block
In her way for her to offer
Herself to men despite desire.

But as you say, the fundamental stumbling block is the question of the future of the economy. And it's not just the sort of economic laboratory question, of what kind of system would best generate growth, which is the way it's presented.
The Greatest
[Intro]
(The the, the the, the the, the the)
Don't throw no roses on my grave, boo
That's not a soldier, it's more like an angel
You got no where to run, no one to pray to
Jesus and Moses ain't comin' to save you
(The greatest, the the the greatest)
I flow like a butterfly, I sting like a hornet
They won't let me have it
Not even if no one else want it
And if I try to take it
They wanna break me down and strip me naked
They write a brand new rule and break it
They lie, they cheat, they steal, they fake it
But I'mma make it, Lord I can take it
I'm the (The greatest man alive)
Cut the drama boy, save it for your mama
I'm the (The greatest man alive)
I can't sweat it, know I got to get it
I'm the (The greatest man alive)
Without no doubt, my name will survive
(The greatest the the greatest man alive)
(The greatest man)
(The greatest, the the)
I'mma make it, Lord I can take it
I'm the (The greatest man alive)
Cut the drama boy, save it for your mama
I'm the (The gratest man alive)
I can't sweat it, I know I got to get it
I'm the (The greatest man alive)
Without no doubt, my name will survive
(The, the greatest man alive)
(The greatest, the the greatest man)
(The the, the greatest man alive)
(The, the the greatest, the the the greatest man)
(The greatest man alive)
I'mma make it, know that I can take it
I'm the (The greatest man alive)
Cut the drama boy, save it for your mama
I'm the (The greatest man alive)
I can't sweat it, I know I gotta get it
I'm the (The greatest man alive)
Without no doubt my name will survive
(The greatest man, the greatest man alive)
It only gets harder
It always seems so far away
The sky's getting darker
Another storm is on the way
(The the greatest, the the the greatest, the the)
Another storm is on the way
(The the the the greatest, the the greatest)
(The greatest man alive)
