I don't think human beings learn anything without desperation. Desperation is a necessary ingredient to learning anything or creating anything. Period. If you ain't desperate at some point, you ain't interesting.

Late Night Thoughts...

one more thought tonite... if we cannot grow the balls
to stand up for human dignity, to treat each other with
respect, to protect our environment, to stop these damn
wars, and to learn to see people and accept them as they
are.... we dont deserve to be here!
we are not the holy grail... we are human beings... we,
whether we admit it or not, are connected to and responsible
for all living beings....
our concepts are not who we are... but our hearts in action
define us...
and most of all, we owe it to our children!

Human Beings

Human being beings are strange in being human,

Strange in love and art and vice,

Strange in being nice

Human beings are strangers in the night

Lights shining on a starry night

No sooner blinked out they are gone

A stranger in the human race

Keeping up keeping face,

Moving on

In crowds and queues and buses

Walking alone at ten

Human beings in being human

Make the strangest men

Not easy to be read,

Or clothed or fed

Or put to bed

Each thought entwined

Lives over signed overlapped

Smaller beings kept but not as 'pets'

Sometimes feel 'trapped'

For human beings are best when left at sea

Frantic firey disordered unchained set free

For love for life for space,

the fact that society defines
people by their sexual orientation,
both perturbs me, and pisses me
off.
gay, straight, or bi... i even
hate the terms.
folks, people are just people!
human beings! and human beings
are born with the right to love,
and to be loved.
if we put half as much effort
into respect as we put into judgement,
we'd be a lot better off.

Motivation

Love isn’t any motivation
Wealth isn’t any motivation
Health isn’t any motivation
Create not more confusion

Inspiration and motivation is a pair
Imagination follows and is near
Near enough to make you desire
Near enough to make you crave instead of tire

Like the nutrients that enhance the growth of a plant
Motivation is the force from your self within
The invisible voice urging you to win
Motivation is when you make it routine
To implement actions to show you are keen

The Journey without shortcuts

The Journey traveled without shortcuts,
is a journey worth taking.
For there are no shortcuts,
to any place worth going.

The destination does not matter,
but the Journey to it does.
For at the destination,
you will not learn anything.

You will not accomplish much either.
On the Journey to it, however,
you learn many things,
and accomplish much.

On the Journey,
you learn. You learn that,
'We are not human beings on a spiritual journey,

So travel hard,
and travel well.
Choose your companions wisely,
and leave everything behind.

Never look back,
always move forward.

We are human beings.
