Olympic Platinum
If I could reach to the sky and touch it for my country
Get some on my finger and take in its smell
The smell of victory land of the free Olympic dream
My Olympic dream
My promotion scheme
How hard can it be
How high can I jump
How high can I throw
How high can I run
How high can I hold my breath and stay underwater
and wave my legs around in perfect unison with my partner who really doesn't understand me
For my Olympic dream
I'll be like Dwight Stone
I'll be like Bruce Jenner
I'll be like that girl who trained all her life as a distance runner and then tripped with a quarter mile to go
But I I will get up and I will run
I will run with the Georgia peach breeze and I will win
I will win my Olympic dream
The gold's just not good enough
And I don't even think of the bronze
I've ????? my life for Olympic Platinum
Olympic dream
I'll sing like Whitney

Ban Them For Life
They sang songs about a disaster
thinking they sounded cool
but that shows them to be cowards
and having the minds of a fool.
They should not be called fans
as they are nothing of the sort
they should be banned for life
and named and shamed when caught.
Football does not need them
don't let them make a sound
they're not a part of the Football family
so keep them away from the ground.
We are pleased the truth finally came out
as the people of Liverpool never let it rest
but real fans are behind you all of the way
as you do whatever you think is best.

Soccer Match
there goes soccer fans in deep sunray
we never care for deep sunlight
we are here to see champions beat
there goes start
fans cheer which is part
suddenly there team is goal down
but that is not making them frown
as they are confident our team will take crown
defender comes in pickle
as he does wrong tackle
that is pick
striker scores from freekick
with few minutes to go
fans say make strategy to get victory
and in last minute striker scores from long range
expert say do you get it is big upset

The Olympic
There were ten on run in a race,
Many aiming for Gold, Silver or Bronze.
Others were there, hard in their tries
Not to finish the tenth. It is Olympic.
There were ten teams in a contest,
Each aiming for the three medals.
Others were there to give their best
Not to finish the last. It is Olympic.
How fought and not who got
Is the game of Olympic

A Whispered Rant in Disguise
If the definition of poetry is
that it touches the heart
then the Olympic Games,
all the arts
and other more intimate matters
are poetry
which I believe the Greeks
would nod assent to
and Baron Coubertin's declaration
relaunching the Olympic Games
(though this time with clothes on, ah well) and
somewhat forgotten by the media
that it's not the winning
but the taking part
would apply to all
the above activities
which is OK by me
and her.

The Olympic stadium may have been built only in the early 1970s but it was clear for a long time it had no future. For many reasons it is not good enough for modern football and today's fans.

Because you basically won a close re-election, your first task is to unify the city. And it's done not with words but with actions, by reaching out, to the supporters of your opponent as well as to reassure your own supporters.

I have had fans make me the big picture collages of the photo books; I have had fans send me birthday cakes... sing to me on my voicemail. I have had fans flash me. I have had older fans give me their bras and underwear onstage.

Fans Of Written Word Verse
fans I have no fans
fans are for past dead
fans are for present posers
I am not yet spent dead
I am still one of elite verse doers
I am still among rare word writers

Balance to stand
As a head, don’t grow supporters,
Which will grow detractors,
Who will be fatal to your fall.
By then vanished are the supporters.

Before Twilight, I did any movie that I got offered. But now fans expectations have doubled and I just can't mess around. Today, I can't afford to be a part of any movie. I have to question a lot more now before I take a project. After all I can't disappoint my fans.
