My Mystery, My History
The tangling web of my life
keeps on weaving.
The incessant contradictions
are unbelieving.
The past a memory,
the future a reverie
Ah, but the present that's with me
is in itself a mystery.
I'm damned if I do. I'm damned if I don't.
I'm damned if I will.'I'm damned if I won't.
These contradictions
take their toll on me
and so at the end of every day
I lie in my bed silently,

A Eulogy (For Memories Past)
Soon, this regrettable experience shall be in the past;
While there are memories which are sure to last,
I hope to leave behind, all that I am able-
Circumstances around which, Aesop could fashion a fine fable;
That said, there is perhaps even more, still unknown
As I prepare to leave here, as I came-all alone!
Perhaps, as the past fades, into utter inconsequence,
The future will marry my imagined magnificence!
A heart, full of hope and lots of faith, is all I shall take
From here with me, to help fashion the future I shall make,

What can be done today to alter the future course?

Tell me, why did once we desire each other?
I never felt emptiness in my mind.
Yes, it was our love!
Why did we use to share a harmonious incommunicable beck.

Time Stands Still For The Likes Of Me
Time stands still for the likes of me
Other than this moment, time does not exist
There is no past or future beyond this moment
Just this moment in time exists, and nothing more
The passage of time has no effect on me, ill or otherwise
I do no feel it's passing
It's comings and goings are lost on me
I am stuck - lost - in a timeless era
I do not seem to age, neither physically nor mentally
They say it is only 'natural' for my body to look and feel 'young'
It is merely my age that makes me feel this way
That it is only my youthfulness
But why, then, does my mind not age?
I have felt no progression on my part since grade school
I feel as though the past ten years did not exist
Middle school and high school are a blur to me
No real memories or recollection of that time in my past
I have nothing to prove it ever existed, save for the passing of time
Yes, time has stopped for me
My memory is at a standstill
I have a brain freeze that has lasted nearly a decade
I look no older than a 15 year old girl
A high school sophomore
And I carry virtually the same mentality

By this time it was past six, and the enemy's van and ours were at too great a distance to engage, I perceived some of their ships stretching to the northward; and I imagined they were going to form a new line.
A Time Machine Mind!
Human mind, dreams, vision and imagination
Can transport one forward and backward in time.
Mind is the time machine to go to past and future
But time never goes backward but only forward;
Also, time never goes in circle but only straight!
Recollection of past is possible in the present;
