It seemed to me... that the only valid people to deal with crime were cops, and I would like to make the lead character, rather than a single person, a squad of cops.

Verse one:
I had to shoot the sheriff it was justifiable
He mistaked me for somebody who was liable
For all tha many murders l.a and war fields
We keep makin war shields
Streets keep souls
Young brothers loose control
I seem to maintain through this
Watch where ya kick it theyll put you in a twist
And it aint nobody like my down ass hommie
And tha police always tryin to pin some bullshit on me
I keep away from fools
They do crime and it attracts cops
Cops got guns and cuffs
And cells to stuff you in

Cops And Donuts
When I was on the freeway, doing 70 all drunk
A copper pulled me over, and I thought that I was sunk
He came up to my car, I thought up a little trick
I took a donut, jelly filled, and put it on a stick
He came up to my window, and shouted to get out
So I quickly took the donut and I shoved it in his mouth
So I drove away, he shouted for some more
So I threw it out the window and he ate it off the floor
Cops and donuts
Cops love donuts
Cops love donuts
Cops and donuts

My friends and I make short films. We pretended to rob the Dairy Queen where our friend worked, but someone thought we were real thieves and called the cops! Soon, the cops burst in with guns drawn!

Many later commented on the fact that large numbers of those engaged in the most senseless acts of destruction were left well alone by cops, indeed people dressed as Black Block members were seen freely making their way across police lines and talking to cops.

Puke On Cops
look at me now. full on the run. i can't stop myself from crashing. breaking grass, bumming a yard. fixing stuff that was never broken. pulling out all the stops. i'm gonna puck on the cops. i'm telling the kids, punk rocks. i'm gonna puke on cops. gimme a side of airplane noise or a half a glass of our resistance. add a dash of disobedient public nusant, richtor riot. pulling out all the stops. i'm gonna puck on the cops. i'm telling the kids, punk rocks. i'm gonna puke on cops.

I had a problem with cops pulling me over all the time for speeding. When I was doing Hill Street Blues, the cops said how much they loved the show as they were writing me up; meanwhile my insurance went through the roof.

Written On My Forehead
The cops had written in my forehead
She is crazy
And I had to walk like that to court when I left the jail
Because the cops wanted to make sure she was crazy
And she felt very humiliated with the whole thing
Yes the whole thing made her feel very hurt

The Dead Girl
At first I didn’t see her, .
There, half hidden in the leaves.
In the early morning darkness
Nothings ever what it seems.
The leaves were wet and sticky
but not with morning dew.
The smell of blood assaulted me
Now what was I to do?
She must have been a jogger
on an early morning run.
-Was she the victim of a killer
or dead from a “Hit and run”?
Was someone, somewhere worried?
That she wasn’t back on time
I know that I would go insane
Were she a child of mine.
I checked around to see if
There were clues upon the ground..
Just then a squad car passed by-
Frantically, I waved them down.
I couldn’t help the Cops much
-I had driven my wife to the train..
I’d dropped off my car for service
My mechanic will say the same.
I gave the cops my name and number
An ambulance was called.
They were told they need not hurry
-Just a removal to the morgue.

Farewell to Facebook and Twitters
Don't sneeze at face-book
as the IT Acts won't brook.
In your house, the cops will land,
with an automatic gun as a magic wand
Don't snide a politician in twitters.
The cops will make you get the jitters.
The cyber-laws are a crooked mind's flaws.
The innocents get caught between its jaws.
We aren't free to give voice to our thoughts.
We enjoy in silence the emergency lots.
Hold your pen you wordsmiths
till the claws are torn apart by the lawsmiths.

Laughing in the Yard
A lad is stopped by roving cops, who shoot in disregard.
His face is black, he's on his back, a breeze is breathing hard,
He bleeds and dies, his mama cries, the screaming sky is scarred,
The sheriff and his squad at hand are laughing in the yard.

Narcotics Missing from the Police-Station?
Loss of seized contraband from the police
means they are taken out on a lease
for the accused to go free
and the smugglers to be in glee.
They know all the rules
even how the girls to tease.
How much threat the cops receive
from the gang of vice!
They are nice while dealing
with the Kingpins moving the drugs off.
What could the poor cops do
if the boss behind this trade
sits on the high seat of Power?

An Apt Pupil
Knockin' about (said Benny, the Tough)
By the Rocks an' Woolloomooloo,
Oh, I was a low-brow, right enough,
And a bit of a bounder, too.
Kickin' about with me larrikin band,
I was always gittin' in bad;
Till the kindly cops took me in hand,
An', lissen, I've been glad.
I was a tough when life begun,
An' me ideels was not high
Doin' the things that 'are not done,'
Disgracin' me old school tie.
Me feet was set on the downward road,
A crook I was, an' a cad,
Till the genteel cops taught me a Code
An', lissen, I was glad.
Doin' sich things as I never had ort,
Soilin' the family name,
With never a notion of good, clean sport
Or the pride of playin' the game.
The dirtiest fighter in all the Rocks,
That's the sort of name I had,
Till the manly cops taught me to box;
An', lissen, I was glad.
Playin' the game with a good straight bat,
Scornin' the bottle an' boot;
Turnin' meself from a wharfside rat
To a reel nice-livin' coot.
Learnin' to battle without 'arf-bricks
Or with pickets, as once I had
For the good cops taught me their rastlin' tricks
An', lissen, I was glad.
But flesh is weak; an' I fell from grace,
An' I goes an' I drifts right back,
An' burgled a bit of a jeweller's place;
An' a cop gets on me track,
But I meets his rush with a good straight right,
An' I reckon he got reel mad
To think that the cops taught me to fight.
But, lissen, I was glad.
Then a crowd of his pals come off their beats;
But I takes to me heels an' clears,
An' I leads 'em a marathon thro' the streets
While they lumbers and puffs in the rear.
Then I loses 'em all when I'd had me fun,
An' I sprints like a race-course prad.
For me cobbers the cops taught me to run,
An', lissen, was I glad?

We and our Laws
Our laws permit the police
to lay a trap to catch,
the worst criminal at large,
only on receiving complaints.
The people are cut into size
by the laws of our land
and those of the chopper-rowdies.
The weak and the meek can’t dare
file complaints against the killers
and the cops ignore the unruly deeds.
Some doctors loot the kidneys
and make a quick fortune.
They land in jails after a decade
when the police receive complaints.
Some feign as tax-officers
crush the flowers in the cine-films
and rob their hard-earned money.
The cops won’t act till those girls
come and report with flashing cameras around.
Some unlawful youths kill and scare,
amass wealth in crores,
pipe funds to ruling parties;
the public and the police remain tight-lipped.
The officers need to praise them on dais
in fear of being transferred or blackmailed.
The people feel insecure to see some cops
or the culprits reaching atop the public life.
The politicians too feel uneasy
When the reporters hired or bought step in
as they of the Fourth Estate
could make or mar someone’s repute.
The factors of caste, religion, dinner and cash
spur the newsmen to turn their cameras
and wield their pens to belch out fire and filth.
May God bless those who haven’t joined parties!

Where is the Justice?
Smother! !
A house filled with pain
Bottled up emotions
Afraid and worried or her children
Soothing and comforting
For what the end result would be
The mental, emotional and physical abuse
Obviously to break down
Making life hell for her even at school
Who was to know?
That his jealousy would lead to this
A true story
Of how clergy would lie for the wrong of their colleagues
They met at a school
He a teacher and she the secretary
She was the ideal wife and mother
A daughter in a million
On that fateful day he struck with intention
For many days
Police, family and friends in search of her
A crime committed in front of their children
Her body found in the ceiling of their home
Through a single character witness he was exonerated
Their cover up of a crime
Their hypocrisy
How can they lead a people?

Startin Tonight
(words & music by rosenblatt - milrose)
Michigan state, comity
Harvard university
Vassa, wilbur smith and brown
Shakin up this here town tonight
Startin tonight
Have a ball do it all startin tonight
Grab your partner by the hand,
Spread a blanket on the sand
Three a.m. go for a swim
Clothes and all jump right in
Tonight, startin tonight
Let out the stops, call the cops, its all right
course when the cops have come and gone
Youll just keep carrying on
Dont you worry if you land in jail
Well forward your mail if you cant make bail
Tonight, startin tonight
Have a ball do it all startin tonight
Anything goes, everything goes, startin tonight
Startin tonight.
