I am sure it must be true that people opt out of the mainstream society because they feel that there are going to be no rewards for them, if they stay.

I think maybe since there isn't a great deal of access to the mainstream media and people don't understand the language of mainstream media, if you put music out there with lyrics that are loosely political, people absorb some of it and spit it back out.

Come And Stay With Me
I'll send away all my false pride
And I'll forsake all of my life
Yes I'll be as true as true can be
If you'll come and stay with me
All lovers of the past, I'll leave behind
They'll never be another on my mind
I'll do all I can so you'll feel free
If you'll come and stay with me
The promise I made most faithfully
I'll keep still if you decide to leave
I'll try and see that you have all you need
If you'll come and stay with me
Yes I'll be as true as true can be
If you'll come and stay with me
Live a life no others have ever known
But I know you think that I'm hardly grown
Oh thank God at last and finally
I can see you're gonna stay with me
I can see you're gonna stay with me

Can I have this last dance, my darling?
Can I have this last dance with you?
I wanna dance the whole night tonight
And can I have this last dance, my darling?
Can I have this last dance with you?
These are the words that he told to the fellow next door
Mainstream, u.s.a.
I flipped that guy the bird
Mainstream, u.s.a.
Is all I wanna say
Mainstream, u.s.a.
I flipped that guy the bird
Mainstream, u.s.a.
Is all I wanna say
We are the world (back off, fool)
We are (Im talking to you)
We are the world (back off, fool)
Mainstream, u.s.a.
I flipped that guy the bird
Mainstream, u.s.a.
Is all I wanna say
Mainstream, u.s.a.
I flipped that guy the bird
Mainstream, u.s.a.
Is all I wanna say

There was a man with a boat beside me

Scars
Reality sucks, too much pain
I cant explain why I wanna bash brains
Still I can see it on the other side
Got a new baby, wanna stay alive
Give what I give, give what I got
Make it worth while, cause I got another shot
Broken families that always got pain
I break the chain, refuse to be the same
Mother-did as good as you could
After all the abuse I still understood
Three times divorced, and three times a kid
Gave us more love than our father ever did
Now weve all grown and moved along
Tried to forget, but my brother did me wrong
But its real hard to put it all behind me
Its like a tattoo frozen in a memory
I cant seem to erase the stain
In my brain, things will never be the same
I remember all the lies, f__ked up, now I realize
Never had a chance as a kid, I was a man
Fight after fight wasnt really what I planned
Father!
Whoever you are
Beat my mother down, all I see is scars
And memories - what about me?
Throw me through a window for watching tv
Where did I get this anger?
Where did I get this hate?
And where did I get my temper?
Now Im gonna show my faith
(huh) never will I be like you, be like you
F__ked up, that sh_t - Im staying true
My family, true to my family
Im true to my family
True to my family
Stay true
True to my family
Stay true, stay true
True to my family
Stay true
True to my family
Stay true, stay true
True to my family
True
True to my family
Stay true, stay true
True to my family
Stay true
True to my family
Stay true, stay true
Never will I be like you, never will I be like you (repeat to end)

Music of the heart
Sometimes people events simply take their toil
We tire, get angry, and our blood can boil
The world tries hard to knock it out of you
But we need to keep faith and stay true
Listen to your heart soul, feel the music within
Feel share the music and its song it does sing
When others try to drag you in that bottomless hole
Stay true to your inner music and remain whole
Follow your heart soul’s tune to keep to the path
Don’t silence your music with anger and wrath
The earths music of life constantly us surrounds
Its rhythm beat is there, stop, listen to its sounds
Listen to your souls heart’s song its always near
Drink in the earth’s music, there’s nothing to fear
Don’t let others drown your music though they try
Stay true to your song, keep your music in the sky
We can't just have mainstream behavior on television in a free society, we have to make sure we see the whole panorama of human behavior.

Is it real
some people say love doesnt exist
some people say its not true
some people say its just fantasy
but if its not real, what is this that i feel for you
is it obsession
or am i going insane
i just want you to hear my confession
my love comes from my hearts main
know what i feel now
it is love
its love that i feel for you
a love thats blody true
to know what love is
you have to be close to someone
the people who dont belive loves true
is the people who havent found the one
but i have found the one
ive found you
the love i feel is truly real
the love i wish you felt for me too

Cops Not Needed
In a highly evolved society,
cops would not be a necessity.
People have a higher Consciousness,
whole society would be in Oneness.
We would all live in peace as One,
everyone would be like Christ the son.
Values would be taught like honesty,
responsibility and how to express what we feel,
We would all have are needs met and would not have to steal.
No teenage gangs for teenagers are listened to,
they have changed the society and made it a new.
We used creative thinking to think all issues through,
instead of using force, punishment which makes us feel blue.

Sir Duke
Music is a world within itself
With a language we all understand
With an equal opportunity
For all to sing, dance and clap their hands
But just because a record has a groove
Dont make it in the groove
But you can tell right away at letter a
When the people start to move
They can feel it all over
They can feel it all over people
They can feel it all over
They can feel it all over people
Music knows it is and always will
Be one of the things that life just wont quit
But here are some of musics pioneers
That time will not allow us to forget
For theres basie, miller, satchmo
And the king of all sir duke
And with a voice like ellas ringing out
Theres no way the band can lose
You can feel it all over
You can feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
You can feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
You can feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
You can feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
You can feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
You can feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
You can feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
I can feel it all over-all over now people
Cant you feel it all over
Come on lets feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
Everybody-all over people

I Feel So Bad
(words & music by chuck willis)
Feel so bad
Like a ball game on a rainy day
Feel so bad
Like a ball game on a rainy day
Yes I got my rain check
Shake my head and walk away
Oooo-people thats the way I feel
Oooo-people thats the way I feel
Sometimes I think I want
Then again I think I dont
Sometimes I want to stay here
Then again I want to leave here
Then again I want to stay
Yes, I got my train fare
Pack my grip and ride away
Oooo-people thats the way I feel
Oooo-people thats the way I feel
Sometimes I think I want
Then again I think I dont

Low Society
A judge a dentist or physician
In this low society
Trade ambition for position
In this low society
Have you heard its in the stars
Next july we collide with mars
Have you heard it in the bars
In this low society
No more pay and lots of leisure
In this low society
Low society
Im just doing what I can
In this low society
But Im an incidental man
In this low society
I give away what others sell
The secrets yours so never tell
cos if you do youll go to hell
Low society
Side by side and always tired
All for one and no-one hired
All thats left is love inspired
Low society
And when the party is complete
And youre still standing on your feet
The taste of victory is sweet
Low society
And darling dont forget
In this low society
To turn off your t.v. set
In this low society
The most important thing at all
In this low society
Is not to stand too tall
In this low society
In this world that never learns
I can see rome as it burns
All the passion and the power
Turns to ash within an hour
No more play and no more pleasure
In this low society
