When you're the youngest and the only boy, you get spoilt but you get told you're spoilt so you don't get to enjoy it very much. I was the only man in the house because my parents divorced and my dad moved away when I was 13.

The victim of pleasure
Talk to men only about business.
Don’t be close to men.
Let no man to be too kind to you.
Thus said my aunts and uncles
In good faith that I am not spoilt.
If I did, my pleasure would be spoilt.
Let me be the victim of pleasure.

Home is the first school and mother is the first teacher
Home is the first school and mother is the first teacher
Parents are the builder of children’s characters and minds,
The mother won’t be a fighter but should be a well preacher,
If she is an illiterate she must carry her children to tuition,
Howsoever the mother should educate their children first,
And she should send her children to school daily and regularly,
Teachers are not blamed not to fulfil children’s educational thirst,
Both the parents and teachers should make them the best citizens,
As we can’t work with one hand likewise we can’t walk with one leg,
Hence, parents and teachers are the same faces of the same coin,
If parents and teachers do them careless they suffer in life to beg,
Do well and have well it is said to see your own profit in life or ruin,
That is why parents and teachers are the best artists of the child,
If an art is spoilt the statue of the child looks like an ugly and a wild.

Party
Did you enjoy the party you went to the other night?
No not really not really, no not really at all
I was bored stiff all night.
Did you find anyone you could talk to?
Anyone with a lot to say?
No not really no one, no not one not really
Just a boy who had a fixation on his body all the time.
He wanted to know if I..... he called 'making love'
I said "My dear pubescent adolescent socks
I gave up being shocking when you were getting spots
Pour me a lime and soda and I'll not tell a lie
But I've always been searching for something more sublime."
Did you enjoy did you enjoy at all? (repeat)
Then I met a Prima, Prima Donna Queen
Who wanted to have a sex change cos he thought it would be a scream
Decadence personified daddy's blood runs wild
Half the world is starving mother says, you're a spoilt hung-up child.
Then I met a guy who wanted to die
With a smack crack deathwish his T-shirt said 'Destroy'
I know I'm not this body and I'm just a fallen soul
But you have to serve some time before you get out on parole
Did you enjoy did you enjoy did you enjoy at all? (repeat)
The party's over the party's over
The party's over !!

I, Me, Mine
In the Beginning
(or perhaps a little later)
there was I.
And then, because I was lonely,
there was ME.
And WE got on like a house on fire!
And, so that we could have something in common,
there was MINE.
And we got on like a house on fire.
(Very MUCH like a house on fire!)
And then YOU came along
and spoilt everything
because YOU wanted YOURS;
and what YOU called YOURS
was actually mine.
And to make matters worse,
you brought HIM with you;
and he wanted HIS.
And although he could have SHARED YOURS,
he didn't. He wanted it all to himself.
AND he wanted MINE.
And so it all went wrong.
There was the Spanish Armada
and the French Revolution
and the Second World War
and Vietnam
and Tony Blair
and it's all such a MESS!
And yet, it started out so WELL!

The Proud Poet
Yes, he was proud... outspoken, too
And quick to give his point of view
And slow to praise what others did,
A spoilt brat, a spoilt kid...
Yes, he was proud and criticised,
All other poets were downsized,
When in full flow, declined to halt,
Yet he was honest to a fault...
Yes, he was proud, but there's no doubt
He knew what he was all about...
His books sold well, he wanted more,
He entertained, he knew the score...
Yes, he was proud, but life's a game,
To be well-known was his first aim...
That's why the papers loved him so
And quoted him when in full flow...
Yes, he was proud, a character
And like a villain, as it were...
But he stirred poets far and wide
When he hurt them, yes, deep inside...
So let's not judge him at his worst
And pray to God that he be cursed,
For he provoked the better part
In service to this thing called art...

Weeping for the Family
I cry for parents who’re so busy
They never have any time to play
I cry for children whose childhood were
Suppressed or spoilt or stolen away
I sob for girls who become mothers
Long before they are really ready
I wail for boys who become fathers
Long before they can keep things steady
I shed tears for that sad little girl
Who doesn’t know the warmth of mother’s love
I howl and I bawl for that mad boy
Whose lone father is the One above
My eyes bleed for the indignity
God rescue us from insanity!

Floating teardrops across the sky
lovely line
spoilt by the second thought
to be a teardrop
they would have to be
upside down.

Your Dream
Your dream is colourful like the summer,
And its change is like variety of the wildflower.
Your dreams inhabit the brain with joy,
Further than anything to enjoy or employ.
Where are the nights in dreams now?
When I was old, the dark night became a row.
Arguing on the interpretation of dreams
Cancels your experience of their teams.
The real eyebrows sleep and when awake
The eyes are fully stunned, much intake.
The dreams of youth supply us with fun,
Too many hearts are spoilt with electrification.

Harmful ego
Senses say which is white and which is black
Mind says which is good and which is bad.
Ego says which is high and which is low.
Super ego says which is there beyond.
Men are spoilt by ego.

Ego only kills you.
If one is spoilt,
it is due to peers’ pressures.
Identity crises are the causes.
Wisdom brings it to light
when the life is about to set.

The River That Flows On and On
In the mist of darkness,
Lies Deep Dark Woods,
Where the river of hatred flows on and on,
The river is dark, it is black
It is filled with sins really so bad,
It has no light, for it gives no light,
It makes the surrounding worse than night,
The people there are worse than monsters,
Never go there; it’s really very dreadful,
Then one day there came a man filled with light,
He wasn’t scared, he was alright,
He went into the Woods so dark,
And saw everything with not even a frightful start
He saw the people, who were really weird,
But still his mind was not filled with fear,
He went to river, he looked at it,
He saw the sins of mankind and sobbed with tears,
He returned home and reported his sighting,
He said it’s because of humans that the river was spoilt,
The people did their best, good not bad,
The woods grew brighter and brought out joys,
It had many visitors, not so spoilt,
The river then flowed with a gleaming light,
It was filled with the goodness of mankind,
And soon the Deep Dark Woods were called the Woods of Light.

It's difficult working with very rich actors, because inevitably they become a little spoilt, and the managers and agents tend to control things more than is healthy.

Let The Wind Carry Me
Papas faith is people
Mama she believes in cleaning
Papas faith is in people
Mama shes always cleaning
Papa brought home the sugar
Mama taught me the deeper meaning
She dont like my kick pleat skirt
She dont like my eyelids painted green
She dont like me staying up late
In my high-heeled shoes
Living for that rocknroll dancing scene
Papa says leave the girl alone, mother
Shes looking like a movie queen
Mama thinks she spoilt me
Papa knows somehow he set me free
Mama thinks she spoilt me rotten
She blames herself
But papa he blesses me
Its a rough road to travel
Mama let go now
Its always called for me
Sometimes I get that feeling
And I want to settle
And raise a child up with somebody
I get that strong longing
And I want to settle
And raise a child up with somebody
But it passes like the summer
Im a wild seed again
Let the wind carry me
