The first syndicating I tried was when two partners and I created a production company in 1952. We wanted to syndicate famous Bible stories and sell them for $25 a show.

I'd usually read the Bible a lot. Read little short Bible stories. And today, whenever I give speeches, I bring up a few of those Bible stories, because those are inspirations to me.

We've played producers almost our entire lives in everything else we've created. But when working on a feature and even dealing with something like Warner Bros. or another production company, or other details that you can worry about - we definitely learned a lot.

Change Partners
Must you dance every dance with the same fortunate man?
You have danced with him since the music began.
Wont you change partners and dance with me?
Must you dance quite so close with your lips touching his face?
Cant you see
Im longing to be in his place?
Wont you change partners and dance with me?
Ask him to sit this one out.
While youre alone,
Ill tell the waiter to tell
Him hes wanted on the telephone.
Youve been locked in his arms ever since heaven-knows-when.
Wont you change partners and then,
You may never want to change partners again.

Famous Fable
The famous fable,
The famous table,
The famous stable,
The famous cable,
The famous babble,
The famous gable,
The famous parable,
The famous variable
The famous sable;
But, able to crown your love with my muse!
For, you are all that i need.

What Does the Bible Tell?
The Bible speaks about the love of God
That’s infinite and unfathomable;
The Bible talks of love of man for God,
Their obeisance and faith amidst great strife.
The Bible tells of stories of persons
Who chose the path of righteousness to vice;
The Bible narrates accounts of men
And women who stood steadfast in faith amidst trials.
The Bible depicts how God tests man’s love
And obedience to Will of Providence;
The Bible reveals all secrets of life
That’s everlasting and all heavenly.
The Bible lists the sins that are mortal,
Abominable and hated by God;
The Bible shows the path of righteousness
That leads all souls to the Abode of God.
The Bible hints how God can punish as well
And send all evil-hearted down to hell;
The Bible has the Words of the Maker
That will come true when earth and sun shall end!

Mr. Radio
(written by Roderick Taylor)
Oh, what a sunny day
When they carried the radio home
Bringing him in off the truck
And the dogs wouldn't leave us alone
Mr. Radio, you come down here to keep us company
We listen in a room
Through the miles and miles of night
Deep in the heart of the Bible belt
In the golden radio light
Mr. Radio, you come down here to keep us company
And it's hard days out in the field
The crows in the high tree top
If a man's away from his home all day
His chickens might fall to the fox
Mr. Radio, what can you do about that?
Uh huh
And you can take me down to a river town
Where the citizens dance till dawn
They dance so close it's a sin almost
The way they carry on
Mr. Radio, I never dreamed you could
And it's miles at the careless touch
Of a tired hand in time
When evening fell I heard a strange sell
Dreams that were never mine
Mr. Radio, you come down here to keep us company
You come down here to keep us company

Ill be home early, famous last words.
Here comes the dawn, got to be headin home in a little while,
Shell be up singing along with the birds,
Still believing famous last words.
Chorus:
After all is said and done,
You know that I would never do you no wrong,
I never lied, never even tried,
Even in famous last words.

There all alone, if only the phone would ring,
Telling her only one thing, famous last words.

Partners In Crime
Alright
I know your wheels are turning, got your fire burning
I know your hearts as cold as stone
Youre covered in abuses, dripping with excuses
I know you got a lover at home
But youll come here to me, time after time
Youll go down on your knees
Yeah girl I can read your mind
Because were partners in crime, partners in crime
Your going empty handed, smiling like a bandit
Knocking on my window each night
Youre sweeter than a beauty queen, darker than a limousine
Need me cause I feel right
Yeah when its sink or its swim and the temperature flies
You get your body so close and lay it all on the line
Because were partners in crime, partners in crime
Because were partners in crime, ooh yeah
When its sink or swim and the tales thats youre blind
You get your body so close and lay it all on the line
Because were partners in crime, partners in crime
Ooh yeah, because were partners in crime
Because were partners in crime
Partners in crime, partners in crime
Lets go, ha

Syndicate Of Marching Men
A syndicate of men have been marching
Through the grassy field of yester years
The wearing and tearing of their poor feet to tears.
Bur still they go
Knowing where they are needed
Never knowing when they might be defeated
Thoughts of family and friends
They are a syndicate of marching men

Exposure loses lustre.
A sophisticated, popular woman
Is beset, pestered with, and seduced
By men’s eyes. It is not uncommon.
Immune thus she grows to men’s lure,
With a kind of impotency, self donned.
Such women can by their image spur millions.
But in bed, they are dead like sleeping partners.
Post marriage, famous women have sad stories behind.
Their husbands had had miserable ends.
The one spent in vision
is a spent one in mission.

Mr Ordinary
One who had lived amongst them for seven months or so
He was nicknamed Mr Ordinary by those who him did not know
To most he did seem ordinary the most ordinary one of all
Since he was not a fan of tennis, boxing, golf, cricket or football
They were not his type of company their friendship he did not try to win
In their type of community he could not hope to fit in
The young emerging artist amongst them did not stay
And they do seldom even think of him or mention him today
As an artist becoming famous and financially doing well
At the big city art galleries his paintings readily sell
Photos and articles in the newspapers of late of him they see
They say he must be lucky how lucky can one be
He does not even know the name of one famous sports person he is so ordinary
Though art lovers of the city with them would not agree.

I Dreamt
I dreamt that the LORD came to me
And a message he did give me.
In this dream:
I came upon the face of the LORD
Long before I was born.
He came and touched my soul
And made me completely whole.
He said: you are going down to earth
To this woman who will give you birth
She will show you all there is to know in life
who will show You how to bear the struggles and strife.
there is so much that you must learn
And many a life you must turn.
There are so many people who have gone astray
I need you to show the way.
Your mothers love will strengthen you every day
It’s a beautiful price that you will pay.
Strength from above and strength from below
We’ll show you the way you have to go.
She has prayed for you for many a year
Now it’s time for your love to share.
The love that she gives to you
Will help to see you through,
Open your heart to all that are around
They will come to you in leaps and bounds.
You will have a purity that every person
Will feel and see, this is the way that it must be.
In this dream I saw myself learning the bible
Although I had not opened up one in quite a while.
I started to read the stories of his life
And the miracles he created, and lives that
Were turned around that were devastated.
Then I awoke and I felt empty inside
Tears rolling down my cheeks that I tried to hide.
I knew that it was a dream and that it could never
Happen to me, for it was something that I could not see.
And although I can’t recall the features of his face
FAITH, LOVE, HOPE, in me he did place.
