Don't ever prophesy; for if you prophesy wrong, nobody will forget it; and if you prophesy right, nobody will remember it.

The Prophet
Long ago a tall man told a tale of yesterday,
Searching for the truth to life and not for just a way.
Finding pleasure from this house his ears, they did obey;
In his life a moments pleasure, never to delay.
He was lost and in his trust he found a new meaning;
Seeing the things in diffrent lights his life was redeemed.
Words of peace will fill his mind and change his way of life;
Peaceful meetings with his heart have made him more alive.
Meeting wise old women on the cliffs of life itself;
Asking not for persnal meaning, more for just himself.
Soon well be as he proclaimed in a new way of living;
Take the things you need in life but remember the giving.
Prophesy within your mind and you will work it out;
Prophesy that some will die but only those who doubt.
Then youll never worry as somtimes you used to do;
Just remember when youre gone theres someone after you, you.

Biblical Audiology
prophetic verses set like smooth stones
past the camels dry chiseled steps.
next to a parable and a jawbone.
the dead sea testamental tongues
leaflike water the valley of acacia
transposing thier verbal vernacular.
the oral traditions passed down
by the giver of ghost
and imprinted on the skull
bones of martyred saints.
down where bone becomes papris,
the course stones shed thier skin.
and under the fingernails of an old
god the fossils prophesy.
yes the dry bones prophesy...
speaking in ancient acrostic constructs,
verse by verse their biblical audiologies
unfold in an east wind.

I always avoid prophesying beforehand, because it is a much better policy to prophesy after the event has already taken place.

But I feel convinced, and I venture even to prophesy in this regard, that the time will come when there will also be a minister of peace in the cabinet, seated beside the ministers of war.

No man ever did, nor ever shall, truly go forth to convert the nations, nor to prophesy in the present state of witnesses against Antichrist, but by the gracious inspiration and instigation of the Holy Spirit of God.

On the basis of the familiar experience that that which is learned with difficulty is better retained, it would have been safe to prophesy such an effect from the greater number of repetitions.

Gall
To drink the water of gall and,
To find my way through to see my lover;
Please turn away from your evil doings for,
The prophets prophesy lies and i am here to save you.

The whole Bible is the story of men and women trying to get back to God, to overcome that sin with sacrifices, good works, sermons, prophesy, witnessing, giving all kinds of things. It never worked.

Just A Kid
Well the news spread through Jerusalem, tonight a child is born
There are shepherds fallin' to their knees, and Angels blowin' horns
But in their golden halls the Pharasees
Scoffed and drank their wine
They said it's only Hebrew prophesy
We don't care and besides He just a kid
That's all He is
One more pebble in the gravel
One more rumor in the ravel
How can He be king?
He's just a kid.
Well in no time He seen the world was knockin' on His door
Performed miracles and wonders they had never see before
Soon the Pharasees stopped laughin
The silver sun was paid
And near the end He knelt down in the garden and He prayed:
I'm just a kid
That's all I am
I'll need Your strength too see me through it
If it is Your will I'll do it
But how can I be king I'm just a kid?
Now I think about the Baby and the Man at Christmas time
Of mother's, son's and father's and children just like mine
About the power in unselfishness, love and sacrifice
The Gift that we were given and the price.
And how the news spread through Jerusalem, tonight a child is born
There are shepherds fallin' to their knees, and angels blowin' horns
I wonder how on Earth the Pharasees, could scoff and drink their wine
And say He's only Hebrew prophesy
We don't care and besides He's just a kid
That's all He is
One more pebble in the gravel
One more rumor in the ravel
And how can He be king? He's just a kid
Oh how can He be king?
He's just a kid.
Ooooh.

History repeats itself and history never repeats itself are about equally trueWe never know enough about the infinitely complex circumstances of any past event to prophesy the future by analogy.

Night….
Night
To the vampire is life
Another feeling to the husband and wife
Night
Is when the vagabond teens prefer
For promiscuity will occur
But mine,
A repeated elegy to be read
As contemplation cut a swathe through my head
Night
You have made me a grand old master
To prophesy melancholy ahead
Now my young shoulders can hold no longer
My old head.
Night
A period I reserve to cry
For I will see no one around to ask me why
At night
Sometimes when I cry
I forget that the day
Lies just a few hours away.

When all prophesy becomes history
When all prophesy becomes history
and there is no more need for mystery.
When Christ has begun His eternal reign
and Christians have left this earthly plain,
When He has come like a thief in the night
and believing faith has turned to sight
Then forever with the Lord we shall be
safe in Christ and secure eternally.
Collection
Collection, ten, net, on, no, ton, not, colt, cot, tell, line, tin;
But evil appears out of the North! !
Collection, ion, toll, Cole, Lot, lot, let, cone, cell, in, cine;
The prophets prophesy falsely to gain their wealth! !
And the preachers bear rule by their own authority;
But the people around do love it so.
