Our Affair

What a perfect night
Secrets lights up the sky
Like fireflies do
There's nothing but a silky hope
That old opiate
Between me and you
Don't look now
We're just about there
We're just one little breath away
From our affair
From our affair
Don't move too fast
Don't run scared
We're just one surrender away
From our affair
Don't you feel like
You're coming down with something
Some great fancy flu
Don't you feel like you're
Coming down with me
And it doesn't get sicker than you
Don't you feel like this is the really good part
Where it's still up in the air
The perfect romance is never
Stated or sated, deflated or fair
Don't admit it yet
And don't stop saying your prayers
We're just one little heartbeat away
From our affair
From our affair
There's a light in my window
And a little red ladybug in my hair
Just one turn down an empty street
Away,away, away
From our affair
From our affair
There's a white-hot desire
Of which I am pleasantly aware
Just one more "wait a minute baby"
Away, away, away, away
From our affair
From our affair
From our affair

Affair Of The Heart

Heart in my mouth; pulse in my head
Mercury rising into the red
The smell of your skin can light up all the fires in me
Hungry to touch, Im eager to please
Out of control and I hand you the keys
Every night I am burning to make love to you
But dont try to tell me you think its all physical
It goes much deeper than that
You ought to know its an affair of the heart
Its an affair of the heart
Its an affair of the heart
Have a little blind faith, believe
Its an affair of the heart
When we make love, its a passionate thing
You shudder and shake, sink your teeth in my skin
I almost believe you were made to be played by my hands
And you got the power; it amazes me still
How you play my emotions with consummate skill
I dont have to look any further than into your eyes
So dont try to tell me you think its just physical
It goes way deeper than that
You better know its an affair of the heart
Its an affair of the heart
Its an affair of the heart
Have a little blind faith, believe
Its an affair of the heart
Im the controller and I want to touch you and seize you
And make you mine hey, hey
Dont try to tell me you think its all physical
It goes much deeper than that
You ought to know its an affair of the heart
Its an affair of the heart
You better know its an affair of the heart
Its an affair of the heart
You better know its an affair of the heart
Have a little blind faith, believe
Its an affair of the heart

This Love Affair

This Love Affair
Gloria Gaynor
(Gloria Gaynor / Connie Johnson, Jr. / Al Stewart)
(Check it out, check it out, this love affair)
(Check it out, check it out, this love affair)
One - it's on the money, two - it's in full stride
Three - we've got each other, so there's no need to hide
Honey, this love affair has gotten to where I want it
This love affair, I'm so proud to own it
Oh this love affair is in the right direction
This love affair is under love's protection
Four -we're getting over, five -we've got it made
Six, let's pray forever, this love will never fade
Cause it's a miracle there ain't no doubt about it
This love affair, I've got to talk about it
Oh this love affair is in the right direction
This love affair is under love's protection
For the first time in my life I can see clear the skies
So let's soar them like two eagles and fly so high
Seven - bound for heaven, eight - we're at the gate
Nine - we've got their blessings, ten - we're perfect mates
Honey, this love affair has gotten me where I want it
This love affair, I'm so proud to own it
Yeah yeah
Yeah yeah.....
This love affair, Oh oh
Seven - bound for heaven, oh well eight - we're at the gate
Nine - we've got their blessings, ten - we're perfect mates
Honey this love affair is in the right direction
This love affair is under love's protection
Woah this love affair > fade is in the right direction
This love affair.......

Tired Eyes

Well he shot four men in a cocaine deal
And he left them lyin in an open field
Full of old cars with bullet holes in the mirrors.
He tried to do his best but he could not.
Please take my advice, please take my advice
Please take my advice.
Open up the tired eyes,
Open up the tired eyes.
Well, it wasnt supposed to go down that way.
But they burned his brother, you know,
And they left him lying in the driveway.
They let him down with nothin.
He tried to do his best but he could not.
Please take my advice, please take my advice
Please take my advice.
Open up the tired eyes,
Open up the tired eyes.
Well tell me more, tell me more, tell me more
I mean was he a heavy doper or was he just a loser?
He was a friend of yours.
What do you mean, he had bullet holes in his mirrors?
He tried to do his best but he could not.
Please take my advice, please take my advice
Please take my advice.
Open up the tired eyes,
Open up the tired eyes.
Please take my advice, please take my advice
Please take my advice.
Open up the tired eyes,
Open up the tired eyes.

For A Friend So Dear

Lo! what fate brought us
a yesterday affair he came thus
he, like us, after high school educational lust
as time pass by,
we swam deeper than the pool of friendship
into the oceanbed of kinship
before you came, angels were myth
but now my dull, dark life you lit
if today i go the way of the flesh,
my eyes like a dying fire. quietly quenched
at least gladness shall abide by my soul
same gladness dusk gives owl
knowing i behold fate`s dubaic structure
heaven`s breathing architecture
meeting you is such a pearly pleasure.

Advice

We travel down so many roads,
during the course of our lives.
Occasionally we have to stop awhile,
and ask someone for advice.
Not all advice is good,
and nor is it bad.
However, advice is advice;
to all we should take heed.
A little help is always welcome,
from where ever it may come.
It’s just how we use it,
which makes it good or bad.

Dying

I'm Dying, Dying to wake up without you, without you in my head again
I'm Dying, Dying to forget about you, that you ever lived
There's a shade come over this heart that's coping with laying down to rest
I'm Dying to live without you again
I'm Dying, Dying to find a distraction, get you away from me
I'm Dying, Dying to reach a conclusion, so that the world can see
It's the same old story of love and glory that broke before it bent
I'm Dying to live without you again
The first time you left I said goodbye
Now there's not a prayer that can survive
Dying, Dying to die just to come back so we can meet again
Dying, Dying to say what I always should have said
It's a strange emotion this but there's still hope in this
As long as there's a breath...
I'm Dying and I can't live without you again
It's a strange emotion this but there's still hope in this
As long as there's a breath...
I'm Dying and I can't live without you
I'm Dying and I can't live without you again

The Family Affair

Its a family affair
With problems everywhere
But nobody cares
And lots of people stare

Its hectid and crazy
With confusion and drama
It has babies and different ladies
And to many baby mommas

Its a family affair
And nobody cares

You say thier just friends
With just a kiss and a hug
But yall are like Barbie and Ken
Im not stupid duh

Its a family affair
And nobody cares

Stop with the lies
Just tell me the truth
You might make me cry
But you know i have proof

Its a family affair
But nobody cares
nobody
just
nobody

Foreign Affair

Foreign affair
Take a trip in the air
To a tropical beach
An island to reach
A new territory
For an intimate story
Ali goum pa la mere
It's a foreign affair

Drifting and free
On a mystical sea
A wishful emotion
A drop in the ocean
A hush in the air
You can feel anywhere
In the cool twilight
On a tropical night

Floating on air
Foreign affair
A magical potion
A cool locomotion
A dream
A prayer
It's a foreign affair

Floating on air
Foreign affair
A magical potion
A cool locomotion
A dream
A prayer
It's a foreign affair

Repeat 1st verse (6 times)

You May Not Remember Me. But...

The best advice ever given to someone,
Was probably solicited.
With a promise not to become offended,
When the decision was made to deliver it.
To eventually despise the one who was direct.
Yes?

And after years of being upset...
The one given the advice once in denial,
Recognizes the advice to be the best.
Right?
And then with a doing...
There is an attempt to make amends.
Hoping to be forgiven.

'Hello...
You may not remember me.
But...
I was the one who asked for your advice.
And after you gave it to me...
I accused you of being mean and cruel.
And did everything I could to ruin your life.
Do you remember me?

Hello?

Hello? '

Well...
In 'some' cases when asking for advice,
And that advice is disliked?
It is highly recommended,
To leave one's mother out of it.
With an insinuating of one's preference.

Or disgracing someone,
Because of something you've done!
Since it is hard to overcome,
An impression made left as a reference.

Good Advice

Open the window I need some air
So many people and theres such disorder here
Familiar faces found out lies
Turn to the street now I watch the passers by
I wonder what they recognize
And what theyd recommend to fill my days
Possessions start to wear me down
I need some good advice some good advice to wear me down
Im nervous can you help me
Im nervous can you help me
Im nervous can you help me
Im nervous can you help me
Instead they harbor secret thoughts
They break through windows that have twice been locked
I have to walk to wear me out
I need some good advice some good advice to wear me down
Im nervous can you help me
Im nervous can you help me
Im nervous can you help me
Im nervous can you help me
I throw my arms and pray to leave
I gotta head for love like is inside me
My lips press tight so not to drown
I need some good advice some good advice to wear me down
Im nervous can you help me
Im nervous can you help me
Im nervous can you help me
Im nervous can you help me
Give me some good advice to help me along
If I know its true
Give me some good advice to help me along
If I know its true
Give me some good advice to help me along
If I know its true
Im nervous
Give me some good advice to wear me down

I Feel Like....

I feel like dying dying
Dying without you,
To leave this body,
To take a new.

It's not that I
Hate this night;
It's not that I
Have lost my right..

But I'm dying dying
Dying without you
To leave this present
To embrace a new.

None will mourn here
No heart-break;
No swan-song,
Not one inch's shake..

But, I feel like dying
Dying without you
To yield this robe,
To wear a new.

The secs of hour
Gapes me now....
Time pulls I know,
Inevitably how;

Still I feel like,
Dying, dying without you,
To take another life,
To get the new! !

Certainly

who gave u permission to rearrange me
certainly not me
who told you that it was alright to love me
certainly not me

I was not looking for no love affair
and now you wanna fix me
I was not looking for no love affair
and now you want to mold me
Was not looking for no love affair
now you wanna kiss me
Was not looking for no love affair
and now you wanna control me
hold me

You're really trying to get creative with me love
and that's alright

Twilight And Peace

O GREY and dewy Twilight,
Thou, who comest softly, bringing
Silence sweeter than all music,
Song of bird or mortal singing;
Thou, who walkest with thy shadows
Through the mountains and the meadows,
Hither come, hither come;
For the morn was dull and dreary,
And the noon was hot and weary,
And the hours that followed after
Were too full of care for laughter,
And too full of toil for many and too full of tears for some.
O grey and dewy Twilight,
There are those within the forest
Who are waiting for thy coming
And the potions that thou pourest,
Bringing balm to feathered bosom,
Wilted leaf and withered blossom —
Bid them sleep, bid them sleep;
For their morn was dull and dreary,
And their noon was hot and weary,
And the hours that followed brought them
Arid winds that evil wrought them,
For the crushing heat lay heavy on each little flower and breast.
O grey and dewy Twilight,
There are those in town and city
Who are ailing, ailing for thee;
For thou hast the balm of pity,
And the cooling calm that lingers
In a mother's gentle fingers —
Soothe them so, soothe them so;
For their morn was dull and dreary,
And their noon was hot and weary,
And the hours that followed after
Were too full of toil for laughter,
And too full of want for many, and for some too full of woe.
O grey and dewy Twilight,
There is one thou dost resemble;
And I feel that 'neath her footsteps
Even now the airs do tremble,
And the shadows fly before her,
And the silent stars bend o'er her
As she nears, as she nears —
Man and maid to joyance wooing,
Doves in concert with her cooing,
Round about her love and laughter,
Golden plenty speeding after,
And a magic in her presence to make sweet the salt of tears.

Sound Advice

(words & music by baum - giant)
Some folks tell you what to do
They think they know more than you
They insist that theyre givin sound advice
But as sure as youre livin
It aint sound, it aint nice
It just doesnt sound like sound advice
Some folks like to be the boss
They get up on their high horse
Oh they say that youre gettin, sound advice
There one thing Im bettin
It aint wise, it aint nice
You wont like the sound of their advice
Sound advice were given
Just as sure as your as youre livin
If your smart youll think twice
When they start to sound off with advice
Sound advice were given
Just as sure as your as youre livin
If your smart youll think twice
When they start to sound off with advice
Dont listen to their sound advice

Death With Dignity Very Please Oct 11th,2012

The death with dignity issue is an example of no fuss,
And how isolated our Ottawa politicians are from us,
They just wont touch the subject though people are dying all around,
It must be their political agenda and they win hands down.

But it would be nice to arrange this whole dying affair,
Have death with dignity, even though some don't seem to care,
Maybe they think that they themselves will never never die,
Because they are aristocrats in Ottawa, somewhere up high.

I'm going to die but I don't know when, where, how or why,
And someday you are too, so we better now say goodbye,
And hope we don't get the Sue Rodriguez treatment before we go,
And nothing has changed though that was many many years ago.
