We went for the best overall feel on each song. There are no musical overdubs at all. It's a true live record; it's one of the few true live records out there.

One Day Less
Happy anniversary baby
the years are rushing by us
your more beautiful today
Then we walked down the aisle
And I know im not good at this
What I'm trying to say is
Having you stand beside me
has made my life worth while
One true friend is what you've always been to me
One true friend is what I always wanted to be
To have someone love you
Thats true happiness
May you live to be a 100
May I live one day less
There were times when we scraped by
A year or two and it was rough
I love you more for what we went through
And never stopped beliving in us
And I know I'm one of the lucky ones
I couldnt ask for anything more
Cause you can have all the money you'll ever need
and spend your life looking for
One true friend is what you've always been to me
One true friend is what I always wanted to be
To have someone love you
Thats true happiness
May you live to be a 100
May I live one day less
I couldn't live without you
If I had to be alone
I'll be waiting on the other side
When you find your way home
To One true friend is what you've always been to me
One true friend is what I always wanted to be
To have someone love you
Thats true happiness
May you live to be a 100
May I live one day less

Well, we didn't have our original drummer on our last record. And most of that album was not played as a band in the studio. It was mostly the world of computers and overdubs. There was very few things played live or worked out as a band.
No, if it was up to me every record would be brand new studio material but Atlantic records asked me to put out a full live record because my tour really did do well last year.

Regrets
I have done things wrong,
I will never forget.
But I cannot live,
A life of regret.
I am not a bad person.
But I have done bad things.
When a guitar gets broken,
You can change it's strings.
Life can be a song.
You can choose to dance.
Or you can sit in a corner.
And not take a chance.
It can be an adventure.
It can just be mundane.
You can dress it all up.
Or just leave it plain.
You can live for the moment.
You can live in the past.
You can live for tomorrow.
Or all you've amassed.
You can live for it's gifts.
You can live for it's treasures.
You can live for it's pain.
Or live for it's pleasures.
You can live it for Jesus.
Or live it for you.
You can live it for everyone.
Or just for a few.
And when it all,
Comes to an end.
Will you feel it's been true?
Or just been pretend.
Will you feel like you gave it,
Gave it your best.
Or did just what you had to.
Like all of the rest.
Did you make a difference?
Or did you blend in.
Did you look forward to where you were going?
Or stuck where you'd been?
Did you take life by the horns?
Or did it take you?
When things got real tough?
Just what did you do?
Did you sit in a corner?
Did you mope, did you cry?
Did you simply give up?
Did part of you die?
Did you fight the good fight?
Did you give it your best?
Did you go through your journey?
And complete your quest.
So live for the moment.
And never forget.
Don't let life shape you.
By what you regret.

You know, we have a long history of covering different periods of this band's development with a live record... a sort of live thing that would be done for three or four records, and that was the intention with this particular package.

True
Sun come shining through
You are still dreaming
I can hardly believe it
Im here with you
Lying in you arms
I hear you breathing
I tried to capture the moment
That I share with you
Can this be true
I belong to you
You belong to me
Can this be true
I belong to you
You belong to me
Tell me this is true
Drowning in your eyes
Your heart is beating
The world outside it feels so cold
But its warm here with you
Hours they go by
My love keeps growing
Its like we live in slow motion
Im so lost in you
Can this be true
I belong to you
You belong to me
Can this be true
I belong to you
You belong to me
Tell me this is true
Can this be true
I belong to you
You belong to me
Can this be true
I belong to you
You belong to me
Can this be true
I belong to you
You belong to me
Can this be true
I belong to you
You belong to me
I cant believe its true

I Can Live Without........
I can live without my right arm
I don't need two
I can live without some fingers
I'll still have a few
I can live without my music
It might make me blue
But i can live without it
This i promise you
I can live without my paycheck
I've just got a few debts due
I can live without my iron
The creases will fall through
I can live without my senses
This is all true
I can live without my mobile
And my make-up too
Can't you see the only thing
That's not on this list is you

Live
Clear out your mind
Look to your past and see what you can find
Stole soul afraid
Of the prophets perfect picture falls away
Is this the life that we choose to live
Or is this the life that has been giving
Now is the time to see what my life should be
What is mine!?
We live in Shangri La now!
We live in!
We live in!
We live in Shangri La now
We live in!
We live in!
It's a timeless rage
For many people praying to be saved
Truth is so strong
It needs lights to guide it so it can carry on
I've seen blood on my hands
Am I dead or is this where it begins
I feel the shame
For my friend who put a bullet in his brain!
We live in Shangri La now!
We live in!
We live in!
We live in Shangri La now
We live in!
We live in!
I've got
You've got
We've got
Something to die for
I've got
You've got
We've got
Something to die for
I've got
You've got
We've got
Something to die for
I've got
You've got
We've got
Something to die for
We live in Shangri La now!
We live in!
We live in!
We live in Shangri La now
We live in!
We live in!
We live in Shangri La now!
We live in!
We live in!
We live in Shangri La now
We live in!
We live in!
We live in Shangri La now!
We live in!
We live in!
We live in Shangri La now
We live in!
We live in!
We live in Shangri La now!
We live in!
We live in!
We live in Shangri La now
We live in!
We live in!

Live and Do
Slip away,
Drift away.
Become what you believe is true,
If you have to, start a new.
Close your eyes,
Rest your eyes.
Find yourself as you dream to be,
When you open yours, it's what you'll see.
Rise to your feet,
Feel the Earth below your feet.
Walk through the sands of time,
Be true to yourself, commit no crime.
Sleep in darkness sleep,
Lay down your head, sleep.
Lead a life you love to lead,
Live and follow by your own creed.
Love to live,
Be, to live.
Your mind is your key to forever,
Truthfully who you are it is your endeavor.
Be yourself,
Believe yourself.
Keep true,
Live and DO!

If There's A True God
If there's a true God that true God must be kinder
Than the Gods the billions kneel to for to pray
The selfish Gods that men do go to war for
And invade Countries from their own Homeshores far away.
If there's a God that God does not live out there
Your true God is your God who lives within
And if your God within is not philanthropic
Then you are one who is vulnerable to sin.
If there's a true God that God is not divisive
With the followers of other Gods he would not want us to fight
Your true God would not want you to others to feel superior
Or you to be looked on as a lesser light.
If there's a true God that God does have compassion
And that God believes in human equality
But sad to say the Gods many do worship
Are Gods who do seem to crave an enemy.

Blackheart Records being 25 years old represents staying power and the fact that we weren't able to get a record out through conventional means, so we had to create this record company to put out our records if we wanted to be a band that had records to give out to their fans.
I Feel Blue
I FEEL BLUE
TO HAVE A WOMAN AS TRUE AS YOU
WHAT CAN I DO
FOR FEELING YOU COULD EVER BE TRUE
IN A DAZE
LIVING OUT MY TIME IN A RAGE
IT'S SO WEIRD
SO GLAD I FIGURED OUT HOW THIS CAR SHOULD BE STEERED
TO LOVE A WOMAN AS MUCH AS I LOVE YOU
TO LIVE A DREAM LIKE THIS MAKES ME WANNA DO
WRITE A SONG
AN APOLOGY FOR EVER BEING SO WRONG
AND GET ALONG
WITH MAKING A FOR YOU IN A SONG
YOU MAKE ME FEEL LIKE A BABE IN A STRANGE LAND
WAITING FOREVER FOR YOU TO LEND ME A HAND
FEELING BLUE
WHAT ELSE CAN A POOR MAN DO

Anthem - Revelation
This song was first released on the take me to tomorrow album. it is the only album it has been released on.
See the sun rise
Open up your eyes
Today is the very first day
Watch the morning come
Now the night is gone
Yesterdays so very far away
Trouble you get out of my sight
You know I cant look at you
When the sun is so bright
You know everythings coming together now cant you see
And I live my life in celebration
That Ive got a life to live
And I sing my song in revelation
That Ive got a song that I can give to you
And you know I do
La la la
I was blind now I can see
You know Im just learning how it feels to be free
You know I never really knew just what it could be
Before
And I live my life in celebration
That Ive got a life to live
And I sing my song in revelation
That Ive got a song that I can give to you
And you know I do
And you know its true
La la la

I Live For You (Edited Finished Version 1969)
All alone in this world am I
Not a care for this world have I
Only you keep my eyes open wide
Yes it's true
I live for you
Not a thing in this world do I own
Only sadness from all that is grown
In this darkness I wait for the day
Yes it's true
I live for you
For many years I wait
For many tears I wait
All this time my thoughts return to you
Give my love, that is all I can do
Wait in line till I feel you inside
Yes it's true
I live for you
For many years I wait
For many tears I wait
All this time my thoughts return to you
Give my love, that is all I can do
Wait in line till I feel you inside
Yes it's true
I live for you

Right On
Hey baby
Thats all right people
I know thats all right
Oh when we love, Oh each other
I know thats all right
Oh feel it, feel it, Oh everybody
Feel it
God knows thats all right, yeah
Some of us were born with
Money to spend
Some of us were born with
Races to win, oh yeah
Some of us are aware that its
Good to fuss and care, oh yeah
Some of us feel the icy wind of
Poverty blowing in the air
But those of us who simply
Like to socialize
For those of us who tend the
Sick and heed the peoples cry
Let me say to you: Right on
Right on, feel it, yeah
Oh, Oh, Oh, People and I say right on
Right on honey, right on
For those of us who live yeah,
Well peace is craved
For those of us who live with hatred is enslaved
For those of us who live a life
Surrounded by good fortune and
Wealth, talk about it
For those of us who live a life
(hey, hey, hey) enjoying ourselves
For those of us who got drowned
In the sea of happiness
For the sould who takes pride in his
God and himself and everything else
Thats all it is. We need love
Love, love, sweet love
Wonderful love
Oh, true love, love
Love for your brother and love,
Love for God
Love pure love
Oh, true love can cover hate every time
Give out some love and youll find peace sublime
My darling, one more thing
If you let me, I will take you to live where love is king

Cant Live Without You
Music :rudolf schenker
Lyrics:klaus meine
You stand in front of the band
With all those scarves in your hands
I see you play imaginary guitars
You people shaking your heads
Right till the end of the set
You really turn me on wherever we are
Cant live, cant live without you
Cant live, cant live without you
Cant live, cant live without you
Cant live, cant live without you
Put your hands in the air
So I can see you are there
I wanna see all your lights shining on
Want you to stand up and dance
Gonna leave you no chance
To take a breath between each single song
Cant live, cant live without you
Cant live, cant live without you
Cant live, cant live without you
Cant live, cant live without you
Stand up and shout
Were ready to rock, were ready to roll
Stand up and shout
Are you ready, are you ready
Come on and get it!
Cant live, cant live without you
Cant live, cant live without you
Cant live, cant live without you
Cant live, cant live without you

A True Friend
A true friend
A true friend is the one who picks you up when you fall
A true friend is one that won't lie
A true friend is there when you call
A true friend is there when you want to die
A true friend knows just what to say
A true friend won't care what other people think
A true friend will help you find your way
A true friend will make sure you don't sink
A true friend will help you choose your path
A true friend will know when something is wrong
A true friend has to sometimes face your wrath
A true friend makes you feel like you belong
A true friend

Watch Over Me
I dedicate my life as I dedicate this song
So your loving memory will never be gone
Your message and your song will continue on
The positive that you created shall never be undone
You taught me everything I know and everything I do
Taught me how to live my life and to always be true
True to your friends and your family
True to your heart be who you want to be
Youll forever be my mentor forever be my friend
cause brotherhoods the rule which can not bend
Youll be truly missed as you were truly loved
I hope youre watching me from up above
We will live our lives in your memory
We will try to be the best that we can be in your memory
Your short time on earth was very well spent some people they live 80 years and never make a dent
But you changed the world with the words that you would write
And taught us all to always fight the good fight
And I know youre watching over me from above in the center of my heart is where you will forever be
From the center of my heart is where youll never leave
Theres no way your memory will ever fade away
Because of all the happiness and the goodness that you gave
In my heart is where youll always be youll always be with me
Nobody can take away the memories well always have the memories
I remember you always looking out for me
Putting me on your shoulders so I could see
Being the best brother you knew how to be
I can still feel you looking over me
And it makes me smile to know youre still watching over me.

Sufficiency In Literature
manny pops out from somewhere
opens the door and begs that we listen
to him sing: i wanna live live live until i die
we obliged of course
just to help him ease himself from
too much
intellectual pressure
and even if we do not like the song
or because we cannot really relate to it
because we pride ourselves
as sane and
stable
we sing the song just the same
he is a toe
and when he is wounded
we are feeling
too the pain
indeed his body shook
like Vanuatu with an intensity 7 earthquake
we expect tsunamis later
but they did not come
and then manny is gone
went the U.S.A and true to his last word
just to be a nobody
and this
philosophically
has made him
happy.
i have to be honest
till now i never really like that song
or that i need to be shaken
i have these poem anyway
and perhaps if Manny reads it
somewhere
i guess i have to tell him
i have enough.
