The heart may think it knows better the senses know that absence blots people out. We really have no absent friends. The friend becomes a traitor by breaking, however unwillingly or sadly, out of our own zone a hard judgment is passed on him, for all the pleas of the heart.

Our Absent Friends
We often speak about
the fun we used to have
whenever we retrace our memories,
remembering our absent friends.
We remember our growing years,
the smiles on our faces
and the funny things we did
with our absent friends.
As the years roll on their way
and age creeps up on us
we sometimes like to reflect
on our long gone absent friends.
The flower of youth has withered,
but the flower never died.
It is still locked in our memory
when we remember our absent friends.

Absent Friends
As a year closes,
we always stop for a moment
to remember absent and departed friends.
We raise a glass
and tip our hat
in remembering absent and departed friends.
Life’s highway is a short one
and somewhere it comes to an end,
but friends are not forgotten
they live on in our memory.
And once a year we remember
before the New Year starts
our absent and departed friends.

Which is chaste?
My eyes are sharper than swords.
Your attention was held.
My words are sharper than eyes.
Your heart was won.
My pen is sharper than words.
Your senses struggle.
Is my sharpest weapon blunt
‘Cause your senses are strong?
No, your senses are iron sheathed.
Else, your senses are the weakest.
The senses shown can be visible.
Hence you dread to show.
The shown heart, who knows?
Hence, you dare to concede.
Heart, more precious, is given.
Yet you guard your senses.
Throne is lost; sword is guarded.
War is lost; battle is waged.
Kings are friendly; subjects only war.
Heart is given; senses are withheld.
Visibly chaste; Invisibly what?

Pleasure defined
What is pleasure?
Absence of pain,
Absence of fear,
Soothing of senses,
Grooming of ego,
Or amelioration?
I think, amelioration.

Absence of Passion
There is an absence of passion.
Gone it is.
And a caring once felt...
Replaced.
Priorities have changed.
And so have those faces.
There is an absence of passion.
And not one excuse is presented or made.
A switch in devotion has moved in to stay.
Within one's heart.
With a protection of it that is defended.
When a passion known has become absent...
An explanation of its leaving,
Is the least thing on anyone's mind.
With time to give it in attempts to find.
And not to be discovered on a top ten list...
Of those things one wishes to pursue or renew.
And for some who had it...
Not a thing admitted to be missed.

Center Of Attention
Doesn't it seem as if,
The one most opinionated...
As to who should do what to get things done,
Is seldom the one to show proof of doing anything...
Others can criticize.
People will lie on others when given the opportunity.
Especially if another is conveniently absent.
With a doing without an equal and shared mutual expertise,
That is exchanged in public in the presence of another accused...
As quickly as those opinions by one are given?
Usually it's just that one verbally attacking behind another's back.
Isn't it?
People will lie on others when given the opportunity.
Especially if another is conveniently absent.
Loving to be the center of attention without being interrupted.
And proving to have an ability to do it!
To boost one's acceptance and appeal.
While keeping one's insecurities from being revealed.
Even though this can not remain concealed without being exposed.
People will lie on others when given the opportunity.
Especially if another is conveniently absent.

The Empty Niche
A KING once made a gallery of art,
With portraits of dead friends and living graced;
And at the end, 'neath curtains drawn apart,
An empty marble pedestal was placed.
Here, every day, the king would come, and pace
With eyes well-pleased along the statued hall;
But, ere he left, he turned with saddened face,
And mused before the curtained pedestal.
And once a courtier asked him why he kept
The shadowed niche to fill his heart with dole;
'For absent friends,' the monarch said, and wept;
'There still must be one absent to the soul.'
And this is true of all the hearts that beat;
Though days be soft and summer pathways fair,
Be sure, while joyous glances round us meet,
The curtained crypt and vacant plinth are there.
To-day we stand before our draped recess:
There is none absent—all we love are here;
To-morrow's hands the opening curtains press,
And lo, the pallid pediment is bare!
The cold affection that plain duty breeds
May see its union severed, and approve;
But when our bond is touched, it throbs and bleeds—
We pay no meed of duty, but of love.
As creeping tendrils shudder from the stone,
The vines of love avoid the frigid heart;
The work men do is not their test alone,
The love they win is far the better chart.
They say the citron-tree will never thrive
Transplanted from the soil where it matured;
Ah, would 'twere so that men could only live
Through working on where they had love secured!
'The People of the Book,' men called the Jews—
Our priests are truly ' People of the Word; '
And he who serves the Master must not choose—
He renders feudal service to the Lord.
But we who love and lose will, like the king,
Still keep the alcove empty in the hall,
And hope, firm-hearted, that some day will bring
Our absent one to fill his pedestal.

In The Absence of life
In the absence of life..........
Sweet sexy summer in a
angelic wind,
coming from south in
no harm yet the
sky till feel absence
In the absence of life.........
if i lost my life
in pleasing man, please
remember my Achille's heel
in a acrostic poem
In the absence of life.........
indeed no life is absence
in anyway, except
the world is absence.

Maybe… there aren't any such things as good friends or bad friends — maybe there are just friends, people who stand by you when you're hurt and who help you feel not so lonely. Maybe they're always worth being scared for, and hoping for, and living for. Maybe worth dying for, too, if that's what has to be. No good friends. No bad friends. Only people you want, need to be with; people who build their houses in your heart.

Imperfection From Absence
Send me a rose thorn for my love’s rejection
Or a rosebud for thy love’s confession
Ardent love sometimes shows picture of perfection
But the absence of your touch means less affection.
The gaiety brought by sweet amity
Altogether with cup of honesty
But despite your true love and your fidelity
The absence of your thought brings nothing but anxiety.
Notes from you were very few
To little for us to find our love anew
Absence they say makes the heart fonder
But truly, absence only makes our heart shatter.

The Comedians
(elvis costello)
I sat there alone upon the ferris wheel
A pastel colored carriage in the air
I thought youd leave me dangling for a little while
A silly twist upon a childish dare
Below I saw you whispering to another man
Who held the lever that could bring me down
Hed stop the world from turning at your command
Its always something cruel that laughter drowns
And Im up while the dawn is breaking
Even though my heart is aching
I should be drinking a toast
To absent friends
Instead of these comedians
I can hardly hear the music from the carousel
The wind picks up, the carriage starts sway
As one by one the lights go out
Its closing time
I see you take his hand and walk away walk away
They say that you will always be the last to know
They say that all that glitters is not gold
Its not just that youre never coming back to me
Its the bitter way that I was told
And Im up while the dawn is breaking
Even though my heart is aching
I should be drinking a toast
To absent friends
Instead of these comedians

Learn Ramdas!
Learn Ramdas,
if one is either lost in the
memories of past which are dead
or
lost in thinking about unborn
future, surely one is absent in the
present!
living in the present,
is presence of mind,
living in the past or future is
absence of mind.... Just like Shakunthala lost in
memories got cursed,
for absence of mind!
Every moment we encounter
with various forces of nature,
we get cursed, for absence of mind,
either by imperfect souls,
or imperfect gods
or demons
those are one with
natural forces! Presence of mind and absence of
mind,
let us know which is more
helpful!

The innocence of any flesh sleeping
Sleeping beside you I dreamt
I woke beside you;
Waking beside you
I thought I was dreaming.
Have you ever slept beside an ocean?
Well yes,
It is like this.
The whole motion of landscapes, of oceans
Is within her.
She is
The innocence of any flesh sleeping,
So vulnerable
No protection is needed.
In such times
The heart opens,
Contains all there is,
There being no more than her.
In what country she is
I cannot tell.
But knowing – because there is love
And it blots out all demons –
She is safe,
I can turn,
Sleep well beside her.
Waking beside her I am dreaming.
Dreaming of such wakings
I am all love’s senses woken.

True Frıendship
Your friends are your needs answered;
They are your field which you sow
With Love and harvest with thanksgiving
Friends provide drink and sustenance
When you suffer with hunger and thirst
When friends speak their minds you fear not;
Saying “No”, nor withhold saying “Yes”
When friends are silent;
Your heart need not cease listening to their heart
Without words, in friendship, all thoughts, all desires,
All expectations are born and shared, with joy unbound
Let their be no purpose in friendship save
The deepening of your spiritual connection
Always give the best of who you are and what you have to friends,
As it is for them to fill your needs, not just your emptiness
Seek not friends for hours to kill, rather for hours to live;
For within friendship there is laughter, mirth and pleasure
When parting from friends, grieve not;
For that which you love most in them may
Be clearer in their absence
Remember friendship as with love;
Seeks nothing save disclosure of its own mystery
“True friendship”
Is found in the smallest acts of love and kindness

You Know That You Are Very Deep In My Heart
You know that you are very deep in my heart,
how much I adore you
while in your absence I miss you for long moments
and love brings a kind of sorrow
but continually you sneak deeper into my heart.
You know that you are very deep in my heart,
my words, my deeds and feelings are no secret
but sometimes my words get few,
while in your absence I miss you for long moments
and you are in every thought
and our comfort with each other has been present from the beginning.
You know that you are very deep in my heart,
that our love goes much further than just sympathy
that nobody can fabricate such feelings,
while in your absence I miss you for long moments.
Everything that I am and want to be you do know
and sometimes you are in every word and sentence.
You know that you are very deep in my heart,
while in your absence I miss you for long moments.

Absent From Routine
Absent but not of mind.
Too protective of precious consciousness,
Peace of mind and happiness.
Absent from nonsense.
Professed and not guessed.
And not seeking any to find.
To torment like the rest.
Absent from routine,
And thoughts of wasting time.
Absent from props used for chaos.
And those creating it to market!
As if this is a goldmine.
And the grease of sleaze,
Is there to slop it not stop it!

Street Gangs
Where there is little love there can be no peace
If hearts are at war, thus begins the warring of nations afar
Only with peace of the heart can peace start
With its absence we have the beginnings, of hate and of war
The ultimate cause of destruction among men
Evil hearts kill, their friends and their for
Bombs and fire can kill all life
Strife in the heart can kill the spirit
Why not try to love the people of this world
Some are our foe with a poisoined soul
The warring hearts who poison their souls
We need not hate, but have freedom and peace
It is hard to love, our friends and our foe.

Noble nurse, Dimple
Dimple you were absent yesterday what's reason?
Neighbour was serious Mam, helping went hospital.
Someday your father is sick someday mother
now you are coming with new story of ‘neighbour'.
Now you can't be absent with new excuse
are you student here or a practising nurse?
These words pierced Dimple's heart like a fork
to become a noble nurse, decided to work.
Used to help any one sick, in family or relation
could not leave her friends in painful situation.
They blessed for she helped, of her nature helpful.
Dimple urged parents get admission in a nursing school.
Doesn't find more noble job than serving patients
in front of own eyes sees people recover from illness.
Watching people recover she gets pride and content feel
Her happiness lies in helping the ailing who is in need.
Saddest part of her is, every time one comes in pain
when time comes to see happy, goes back again.
