I have a lot of very close girlfriends and sisters - I'm from an all female family. My father often quips that even the cat was neutered!

Brothers And Sisters
For my adopted sisters
Brothers and sisters
do not always have to be kin
we can make them sometimes
from very close friends.
Someone we want within our family
to share with us
our successes and our triumphs.
We take them because we care
more than friendship grows.
We want them in our lives
for now and evermore,
until the day we die.
We want them close
as kin folk should be,
so we adopt them into our family
as a brother or a sister
which ever it may be.

Family at VMUF
You have a mother and a father here, sisters and brothers, too.
It's a family circle where connection never ends. And even if at times it breaks, surely in time it will mend.
This might not be the family you're dreaming of, but in reality this is the family your heart beats for.
This is your family who understands and will give you up in time you notify your final decision for better tomorrow.

My Girlfriends Girlfriend
(j.spinks)
She was my girlfriends girlfriend (yeah)
I woke up in someones bed
I couldnt remember what happened last night
I heard a voice then someone said
Roll over baby dont be wasting my time
La la la la la la la la
I prayed for someone Id recognize
La la la la la la la la
I didnt know that I was in for one great big surprise
She was my girlfriends girlfriend yeah
She was my girlfriends girl
I turned around unsure
She looked so good you could have picked me off the floor
This is cool this is it
I feel so bad I cant remember what we did
La la la la la la la la
She said boy youd better open your eyes?
La la la la la la la la
In walked my girlfriend she jumped on the other side
She was my girlfriends girlfriend yeah
She was my girlfriends girl
La la la la la la la la
She said boy youd better open your eyes
La la la la la la la la
In walked my girlfriend she jumped on the other side
She was my girlfriends girlfriend yeah
She was my girlfriends girl
She was my girlfriends girlfriend yeah
She was my girlfriends girl

Ingredients
Family is the basic unit in the society,
It's where you can run to whenever you're down and weary,
Father, mother, brothers, sisters compose the family,
They'll definitely make you smile everytime you're lonely.
It is vital to give gifts and love to one another,
One must not also forget to erase pride and anger,
Communication is another thing to remember,
So that a healthy relationship will last forever.
Happy family emerges through cooperation,
Each of the members must give their own appreciation,
Private family activities must be done at home,
So the bond will be strong and no one will be left alone.
These are the ingredients to have a happy family,
You do not need luxurious things or trillions of money,
Simply follow all of these and you will become merry,
Remember that everything starts inside the family.

The Sun & The Moon
They snakes they can crawl
And the cheetahs they can bawl
And their ghosts can wait for the hereafter
But if you are so proud
As to say thats not allowed
We will get sick and choke ourselves with laughter
And the girlfriends that you knew
To whom you promised to be true
Well have their sisters
Hanging from the rafters
And every dirty shade will rise rotting from the grave
Tomorrow will be just like the day after
And this bitter desert wind
Will come ripping through your skin
And everything thats calm will turn to madness
And all of your fake tears
Will come whirling down the years
And what was kind and warm will come to sadness
And the sun and the moon
Will come begging at your door
The stars will turn to rust
And drop from the skies
And everybody will soon be asking you for more
And everybody will be telling lies
And the girlfriends that you knew
To whom you promised to be true
Well have their sisters
Hanging from the rafters
And every dirty shade will rise rotting from the grave
Tomorrow will be just like the day after

Man’s Role
The elder son of each family
Jointly made a moral code
By which they must not eat
Each other and instead
They could live on their brothers and sisters,
Who are meant to serve them.
The elder sons of the family
Made it a law of their father
With no concern to their mother.
The mother was furious.
The time is not far to neglect
The elder son altogether.
[Father is the God, Mother is the Earth,
the elder brother is man, brother is animals and sister is vegetation]

Family Man
Written by lindsey buckingham and richard dashut.
Walk down this road
When the road gets rough
I fall down
I get up
I am what I am...
A family man
I am what I am...
A family man
Mother... father... brother...
Mother... father... brother...
Walk down this road
In the cool of the night
Dont know whats wrong
But I do know whats right
I am what I am...
A family man
I am what I am...
A family man
Mother... father... brother...
Mother... father... brother...
I am what I am...
A family man
I am what I am...
A family man
Mother... father... brother...
Mother... father... brother...

My Parents vs my brothers and sisters
I read all these poems and I don't understand,
They all say family is there for you first at hand,
Its different for mine and this I know,
My family isn't a family that is what they show,
I always thought family comes first,
But in our times of need they are the worst,
Always making excuses and lies,
Blaming it on us trying to get a rise,
They don't see it or just don't care,
They've turned their own kids against them that's rare,
They look the other way when things get rough,
While we comfort each other when things get tough,
Thank God for my Brothers and Sisters too,
If it wasn't for them I don't know what I would do,
They give me hope and give me love,
Something a Mother and Father should have done,
Don't get me wrong I love them a lot
I just wish they would've gave parenting a shot,
Maybe one day they will understand,
What we've gone through first at hand.

I grew up in a house full of women: my mother, grandmother, three sisters, and two female cats. And I still have the buzz of their conversations in my head. As an adult, I have more female friends than male ones: I just love the way that women talk.

My Father's Daughters
Are so smart
and, they have
my Father's Heart
When we get together
we really share in love and truth
each one really cares about
the other one too
My Father's Daughters
talk about who they will help next
they talk about who needs support
and who they can protect
My Father's Daughters
like their Dad
tries to get His heart
to let each woman know
that she is a work of art
They want so much
to soothe and heal
my sisters, are so real
They are a team, really
these girls are spiritually pretty
each one unique, each one belongs
each one helps the other one stay strong
And these girls are in the word, they put God first
they're so full of His Love
they let the last one go first
and these Sister's are accountable
to each other
and gossip no way
that's just plain trouble
These Sisters, My Father's Daughters
Are really Beautiful
When we laugh together
no one wants to go
oh No! not my Father's Daughters

Oath to family
Family is the people who
Talks us through everything
Family are the ones who
Listens to what you have to say
Family protects you when
Others try to harm you
Family are the ones to get you through
Better or worse and ask for nothing
Some take what they have
Forgranted and when it dissappears
They wish they hadnt
I thank god everday
For my family
Family is precious and
Something no one should take
Forgranted or advantage of
Thank you father for I
Would be nothing without
My family!

Charity Starters
Charity starts at home don't we say?
Be kind to kith and kin come what may.
A family's not only your safe haven
Tis pals, your very own roots
Water those shoots with love devoid of hate
so they bear you sweeter fruits.
Maybe you'd say that's not so easy
but perhaps that's coz you're just too busy
Or your clock just don't chime
for quality family time.
For if you can't make time for a letter or a hug
then let my poem give your conscience a gentle tug.
And if this may sound like a preachy homily
deserves much more mention and affection the family!
If you can make time for so many things
some of them not even worthwhile
Try discover the happiness family brings
A lil modifying that routine of lifestyle
My words in crystal clear clarity
sing compassion's likewise a charity
Charity need not be for strangers only
Find out who needs help in kindred and family
Ties of kinship severe not
Value the relations you've got
Your father, brothers, sisters from your family tree
and all else that you call family.

Family, Friends and Fellowship
He gave you arms to hold me up when I am falling down
He gave you lips to cheer me up when storms are all around
He gave you songs to fill me up when words will never do
For this family, oh Father I thank you!
He gave you tears to cry with me when I am filled with grief
He gave you joy to laugh with me when I find relief
He gave you eyes to watch over me as I walk the narrow way
For this family, Father I thank you today!
Family Friends and Fellowship keep me going strong
There’s always someone by my side I know that I belong
To a family bound for glory land, I find myself at ease
’Cause this family who loves Jesus, has His peace!
He gave you tears to cry with me when I am filled with grief
He gave you joy to laugh with me when I find relief
And because you love Jesus, I can trust you to love me too!
For this family, oh, Father I thank you!
For this family, oh, Father I thank you!

In the name of art
‘In the name of Art’
Her legs are close together
Only two feet apart
On the bed she lay naked
The painter called it art
The photographer took a picture
Had to capture the image
Her father saw it in the papers
It made the whole family grimace
The world has seen her body
As when she was born
Everything on show
Her family forlorn
Every time the family see the picture
They rip it up and remember
She was their little baby
A loving family member
Their lives they say are ruined
The family torn apart
All because she’s a model
Working naked in the name of art

Never A Female
Her body darkly sheathed
On demand for dowry paled
Meanly fed, hungered
Yielded issues diseased
Heaved a heap of work-load
Thinned to be sickened
Folks around nagged
Complained the children unattended
Moneyless, helpless suffered
Versed in painful wedlock; despaired and died
Says the departed soul
'Never a female? '
Ignorant of a brutal gale
Blown to be murdered, fateful finale
Blackened body of an infanticide- female
Burried despite dreaming to sprout hale
Many a family wants not a female
For she outgoing dowry- scale
Many a family wants a male
A son be the earning sail
They practise feticide, infanticide female
There, laments a liberated soul
'Never a female? '
Trashed, the baby in the cradle
Bit of the abandoned bundle
Grown to kindle
'Where're my parents to fondle? '
Then stands to reason...'the social turmoil'
Looses her heart to muddle
A composed orphan in puzzle
Self-imposed with struggle
Friends and good people
Though aid doesn't giggle
Deeper in her heart she's a thrown female
Never can she behind her kinship trail
And says the abandoned soul
'Never a female? '
Never a female?

Religious Family
Sisters and brothers are one of those precious members
In the family. Their role is infinite.
They shock themselves with delight.
They read signs and play with them.
Their signs are obvious,
Useful to the parents,
Forcing action of the family.
Heaven can arrive around the bend,
When the families die and their hell is dismissed by God.
Mothers shall look forward to heaven, and their husbands
Are found too in heaven, or shall I say Paradise.
“My son is big at religion, ” says the father to his child.
For this prayer to be answered, the boy must be big, an adult.
His life at the moment has laws broken, the lawful one is not him.
For he is criminal in his action, in his life and love.
He spent a time with another person, and did not get married.
He did not like this now, and not seven times a week.
He must pray and be forgiven, would say God.
God loves the boy’s father, however, and thus the boy is forgiven
For he is big at religion.
The father has his prayer answered.
Afterwards, the father cries for his child as he has lost him to the elements.
The story is such that it makes us cry, and cry and cry.
To find the mother, we must find the father and his prayer.
We find she is forced to marry someone else
But the daughter is forced to object, due to her religion.
The daughter is confused and wants to know why this happens.
The mother blames the divorce on her son who adventured and died.
The father’s prayer was answered but his wife went astray,
and his daughter was too big at religion.
The daughter shall grow and grow to be a happy woman.
Both parents died due to cancer.
It means the average family would die in the ways of religion,
And not religion die in the ways of family.

Prophets Without Honor
You may be a prophet without honor, in the home of an earthly father,
Mocked by a sister or a brother, also, misunderstood by your mother.
From the family you grew up in, you are now divided by Truth and sin,
For God’s Truth, in which you now abide, puts you on a different side.
Now, you have a Heavenly Father, who, with your life, you now honor,
And brothers and sisters in Christ, who support you, in your New Life.
Regarding old sin, we walk away, regardless what our family may say,
Striving together to do what’s right, hand in hand in our Savior’s Light.
With no honor from our own family, still living, just like we used to be,
Without the indwelling Holy Spirit, they’ll scoff at Truth as they hear it.
And only the Spirit can open the eyes, of those who claim to be wise,
So instead of twisting Truth they hear, they’d be filled with a holy fear.
Friend, a prophet is one whom God, uses while upon this earthly sod,
To share God’s Truth with all men, in a world, that stands condemned.
But, a prophet’s family may not heed, the saving Truth that they need,
As your witness for Christ our Lord, by your family, just goes ignored.
Friend that is why we need to pray, thus backing all the words we say,
So that all of the seeds we sow, will take root in their hearts and grow.
This, so that your natural family, will acknowledge the God of Eternity,
And then join us as a prophet of, Christ our Savior, who reigns above.

Father, Can you see me?
Can You See Me Father?
Father, can you see me?
Father, can you help me through this night?
Father, are you with me?
I look up at the sky, and wonder why, I feel so alone now...
Father, will you help me?
Im afraid to close my eyes.
Father, can you hear me?
Father, can you see me?
Father, if I sleep now, will you be watching over me this night?
Father, can you hear me?
Father, can you see me?
Father, the world I see is so much larger, than I remember when you were here with me.
Father, can you hear me?
Father, can you see me?
Father, can you help me stand own my own two feet once more?
Father, Im on my knees, looking at the sky, looking for your eyes.
Father, I've lost my way, Lord, I pray for your guidance once more.
Father, what was your will, Lord, it was not mine.
Father, can you hear me?
Father, can you see me?
Father, as I pray for your will, please come and show me the way, dear Lord I pray.
Amen
