It's about pursuing it rather than waiting to see what comes along. That's partly because I found myself getting typecast, as everyone does unless they pursue roles that are very different from what they've done before.

Like all things, not being typecast in Hollywood it's a blessing and a curse. There is probably added simplicity to a career where you can be identified for the kinds of roles you can - and should - play as an actor.

I was warned not to do it. Actors who play Jesus are supposed to have a hard time getting other roles to follow, but I felt this was a myth. After all, how can you be typecast as Christ?

I don't really worry about being typecast much. I mean, everyone in Hollywood is typecast to a degree.

Corporate Hollywood thinks I'm a geek to go back and do theater. They don't understand why I don't want to be a movie star, why I'm not pursuing Mel Gibson's roles.

Waiting On Love
Oh yeah, oh yeah
You drive me crazy, every little thing about you
Can't get you out of my head
And when I'm with you, nothing seems to really matter
And every word that you say
I know our names ain't carved in stone
But right now I can't leave you alone
Infatuation's taken hold on me
I can't let you go, I won't let you go
How long have I been waiting on love
Now that I've found you, I can't get enough
How long have I been waiting on love
I've been waiting for somebody like you
You know I've been waiting
I always wanted someone to believe in me
Someone to show me the way
You came along and shone light into my darkness
You know it set me free
I know our names ain't carved in stone
But right now I can't leave you alone
Infatuation's taken hold on me
I can't let you go, I won't let you go
How long have I been waiting on love
Now that I've found you, I can't get enough
How long have I been waiting on love
I've been waiting for somebody like you
I've just got to let you know
Someone I wish to hold just to let my feelings show(?)
Never gonna let you slip away
I'm asking you to stay, yeah
Now that I've found you
Oh yeah
How long have I been waiting on love
Now that I've found you, I can't get enough
How long have I been waiting on love
I've been waiting for somebody like you
Yeah, you know I've been waiting
You know I've been waiting for somebody just like you
I've been waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting for somebody just like you
For somebody, for somebody
I've been waiting, I've been waiting
Now that I've found you, ain't gonna let you go
For somebody...

Soap Opera
Do the Devil
And God switch
Roles in becoming
The writer, creator
Director of our roles?
If not,
What pleasure
Does God get
In making us
Enact the roles
Of a Rapist,
Murderer,
Paedophile
In this life's
Soap Opera?
Is HE a sadist
Relishing the agony
Of helpless victims
Or for such roles
Does Devil the
Writer-Creator-Director
Remain the all-powerful
Producer of such a
Hedonistic, Voyeuristic
Masochistic Thriller?

A Goal In Life
What do you do
when you’ve pursued a dream
and finally
made it come true,
do you find another dream
and start pursuing it to?
The answer is simple
yes
that is what you have to do.
Just keep pursuing all your dreams
no matter how wild
they may seem.
You have to have
a goal in life
and our dreams are that goal.
We have to pursue them,
each and everyone
to the bitter end,
for if we don’t
we will end up
with a wasted life.
I thought once
I’d given up mine,
but that was just a rest bite.
I came back
refreshed,
renewed
and pursued my dream
even harder than before
until finally
I made it happen
and made one of my dreams
come true.

Waiting For A Better World
What ya gonna believe in
If you can't tell right from wrong?
Some TV show is all you know
Don't ya care what's going on?
You're in touch with disaster
But you look the other way
Paralyzed by the nature
How you live every day
So you're waiting - You're waiting for a better world
You're just waiting - You're waiting for a better world
If you leave it how you found it
It will always be the same:
The sinners take the prizes
And the righteous take the blame
Better wake up your senses
Get your body on the road
There ain't no time for peace of mind
When the future might explode
But you're waiting - You're waiting for a
better world
You're just waiting - You're waiting for a
Better world
If you leave it how you found it
It will always be the same:
The sinners take the prizes
And the righteous take the blame
While you're waiting
