I had watched for many years and seen how a few rich families held much of Argentina's wealth and power in their hands. So Peron and the government brought in an eight hour working day , sickness pay and fair wages to give poor workers a fair go .

To Those Who Concern
Migrant workers from developing Third World
Move to developed countries for all sorts of work
They may be professionals or just basic workers
Trying to fill their pockets a little much tighter.
Their employers hire them instead of their own country men
Because they are the cheaper and more hard working ones
They don't understand workers' right and things like that
And work and work and collect their wages intact
The wages basic workers get are quite pathetic and petty
It barely is enough for them to send money back to their families
But for professionals the sum is quite attractive indeed
They can save and send money back to their families in need
These remittent money, says the governments of Third World
Boost their GDPs and increase their economic power overall
But that money, if huge enough, can increase the demand of commodities and land
And raises the prices in those Third World countries of concern
This is a problem for those who are trapped inside
With no family members abroad and self-ability to flight
They work hopelessly and barely survive for less than a dollar a day
Until their minds are exhausted and their body slowly decay

A New Argentina
Peron: Dice are rolling the knives are out
Would be presidents are all around
I don't say they mean harm but they'd each give an arm
To see us six feet underground
Eva: It doesn't matter what those morons say
Our nation's leaders are a feeble crew
There's only 20 of them anyway
What is 20 next to millions who are looking to you
All you have to do is sit and wait
Keeping out of everybody's way
We'll-you'll be handed power on a plate
When the ones who matter have their say
And with chaos installed
You can reluctantly agree to be called
Peron: There again we could be foolish not to quit while we're ahead
For distance lends enchantment and that is why
All exiles are distinguished more important they're not dead
I could find job satisfaction in Paraguay
Eva: This is crazy defeatest talk
Why commit political suicide
There's no risk there's no call for any action at all
When you have unions on your side
People of Argentina: A new Argentina the chains of the masses untied
A new Argentina the voice of the people cannot be denied
Eva: There is only one man who can lead any worker's regime
He lives for your problems he shares your ideals and your dream
He supports you for he loves you understands you in one of you
If not how could he love me
People of Argentina: A new Argentina the worker's battle song
A new Argentina the voice of the people rings out loud and long
Eva: Now I am a worker I've suffered the way that you do
I've been unemployed and I've starved and I've hated it too
But I found my salvation in Peron may the nation
Let him save them as he saved me
People of Argentina: A new Argentina a new age about to begin
A new Argentina we face the world together no dissent within
Peron: There again we could be foolish not to quit while we're ahead
I can see us many miles away inactive
Sipping cocktails on a terrace taking breakfast in bed
Sleeping easy doing nothing it's attractive
Eva: Don't think I don't think like you
I often get thos nightmares too
They always take some swallowing
Sometimes it's very difficult to keep momentum if it's you that you are following
Don't close doors keep an escape clause
Because we might lose the Big Apple
But would I have done what I did if I hadn't thought if I hadn't known
We would take the country
Peron has resigned from the army and this we avow
The descamisados are those he is marching with now
He supports you for he loves you understands you is one of you
If not how could he love me
People of Argentina: A new Argentina the chains of the masses untied
A new Argentina the voice of the people cannot be and must not be denied
Che: How annoying that they have to fight elections for their cause
The inconvenience of having to get a majority
If normal methods of persuasion fail to win them applause
There are other ways of establishing authority
People of Argentina: A new Argentina the chains of the masses untied
A new Argentina the voice of the people cannot be and must not be and will not be denied

The Gift Of The Gods
'GIVE me thy dreams,' she said, and I
With empty hands and very poor,
Watched my fair flowery visions die
Upon the temple's marble floor.
'Give joy,' she said. I let joy go;
I saw with cold, unclouded eyes
The crimson of the sunset glow
Across the disenchanted skies.
'Give me thy youth,' she said. I gave,
And, sudden-clouded, died the sun,
And on the green mound of a grave
Fell the slow raindrops, one by one.
'Give love,' she cried. I gave that too.
'Give beauty.' Beauty sighed and fled;
For what on earth should beauty do,
When love, who was her life, was dead?
She took the balm of innocent tears
To hiss upon her altar-coal;
She took the hopes of all my years,
And, at the last, she took my soul.
With heart made empty of delight,
And hands that held no more fair things
I questioned her--'What shall requite
The savour of my offerings?'
'The Gods,' she said, 'with generous hand
Give guerdon for thy gifts of cost--
Wisdom is thine--to understand
The worth of all that thou hast lost!'

Eva's Final Broadcast
Eva: The actress hasn't learned the lines you'd like to hear
She's sad for her country
Sad to be defeated by her own weak body
I want to tell the people of Argentina
I've decided I should decline
All the honors and titles you've pressed me take
For I'm contented
Let me simply go on as the women who brings her people
To the heart of Peron
Don't cry for me Argentina
The truth is I shall not leave you
Though it may get harder for you to see me
I'm Argentina and always will be
Have I said too much
There's nothing more I can think of to say to you
But all you have to do is look at me to know
That every word is true

On The Flag Of The Southern Cross
On the flagpost in the freshening winds the flag of the Southern Cross
That brave workers once fought under does flap and wave and toss
In Ballarat in Australia where history was made
For their rights brave men died fighting at the Eureka Stockade
The Southern Cross above where they fought in the southern winds did blow
There history was created one hundred and fifty four years ago
The happening at Ballarat became known of Worldwide
Some of the miners who fought the Government troops were badly injured and some even died
For workers rights in Ballarat the price in human blood was paid
For the rights of a fair go it did not seem a fair trade
Each time I see the flag of the Southern Cross Ballarat comes to mind
The miners there who fought for workers rights were of the bravest kind
That great flag has a history for historians to recall
It surely stands for workers rights and a fair go for all.

Tax
Tax is for the welfare of the masses
That’s why more tax should levied
Upon the rich than the poor
In such a manner
So that a desired balance is maintained.
There should be no filthy rich
In a poor country
So the government should impose tax
On this people couple of times more
Than the ordinary rich.
Education tax, poverty elimination tax
And tax to rehabilitate the beggars
Can be imposed on the very rich.
The government must go for moderate tax
For the poor people
And they should not slaughter the hen
That lays egg of gold.
The Muslims should give tax properly
Since it is obligatory for them
So in a Muslim country
The government should highlight this
In order to increase revenue.

Rich and Poor
Money brings problems to the wealthy and the poor
Money causes conflict that often leads to war
Money ruins families that can barley afford to eat
Working every night and day just to make ends meet
Money is still desired how ever great your wealth
Power and greed take control and corrupt your inner self
Needed for survival across the world in every place
Soon as you leave school get set to join the paper chase
Money is the path to deception, cheating and enmity
So watch that your arrogance wont make hell your final destiny
To believe your better or more important than any body else
Is an major fault in any man that is bought on by wealth
Money separates the rich and the poor
But when your times up money is no more

Justice & The Fair
It is fair to be born into wealth
But unfair for wealth to be born upon
It is fair to rob the poor of their sweat back
But unfair to rob the rich of their nail clippings
Ive read my books of the church and state
They can kill when backs upon them are turned
But to kill in their faces is treason
You could say, I can say I am for the underdog
The poor man hurting, the good man slaving
I am against the rich man sneaking the bad man beating
But congress is deaf to unwarrented please
Against their fair weather friends and deep pockets
The president a marionette on his dirty knees
In shadows I have dwelt revealing never concealing light
In light I have been accused and let loose
Pitied and despised by the fickle eyes of men
Profit turning business purpose is proper
Success is measured in the displacement of gold
Government succeeds in the silence of its masses
A man succeeds in his love or power
The more sacraficed the more honor, they say
First the lives, then maybe the ransom payed
Hitler and Stalin hated conscience thought and justice
The conservatives and liberals seem to be the same
Rebel, rebel, boycott, and rebel, burn for rebeling
Life I have been told since I was young, by teachers
Is not fair though justice we are told to follow
Those who can adapt to our created enviroment
Of justice's rules, though injust, often imagined
For a sinlge groups personnal aims and claims
Survive, thrive, and rule as alpha male dog kings
Even though men died for the people vs. the fuedal
And those unadaptable to scheming, though they be just
They the bodies given for glory, they the blood of freedom
Are seldomn immortalized in bronze, stone, or paper
Nor simply revered nor remembered well as the tyrannical
I want justice to be fair and injustice to be out dated
We shall see, shall we see
Though no one can make me free except me

The Leeches
Have you seen the leeches of society?
Have you seen them crawling like snakes?
Sucking off the life of everyone
Have you seen them with their lawyers?
Working the law so the rich get richer
Talking of freedom and rights
Have you seen them working global markets?
Polluting the rivers and the lands
Using genetic engineering for more gain
Owning sold out scientist
Buying PHD’S and technology
Owning the means of production
Owning and buying the media
Owning the courts
Pouring money into every election
Masters of propaganda
Creating wars for their interests
Using the whole world as a game
They love power and control
Indigenous people killed, in cages
In reservations
The roll of progress
Imperialism, manifest destiny
People of color trampled
Have you seen their Atlas Shrugged grins
Blessed are you who are poor yours is the kingdom
The trampled on migrant worker
The poor lonely immigrant who is distained
The worker in a slave shop
The worker without a pension
The women who can’t afford a papmere test
The cancers
The hungry children
The alcoholic families full of shame
The laid off and unemployed
Those that work 12-hour days without healthcare
Looking at his disciples, he said
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of
Righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven
Blessed are you who hunger now, for you will be satisfied
The hour is late
The leeches are very wicked
They come with the power of modern technology
They want your mind
They want your vote
Resist them until they are judged
For they will throw their gold into the streets
Your task master puppets shall fall
Your national guards who enslave shall fall
Your greed and avarice shall crumble
His heel was bruised but your head is crushed
The Leeches live in gated communities
They suck the life out of the working class
They buy lobbyist to support their oppression
They ship jobs overseas for more profit
Chickens bloated with hormones
Their legs broken from too quick of growth
Cattle tortured for quick meat
Animals should graze
Pigs are smarter than dogs
Cruelty beyond comprehension
All for money and more money
Rivers polluted
Lakes with mercury
Industry and watersheds ruined
They try to bust unions
They hate and fear organized labor
They despise the poor
They think they are so special and smart
They are elitist
They live off the hard work of others
They hate fair wages
They hate benefits
They support sweatshop labor
They use religion to win support
They hate fair distribution of power and wealth
They fear your vote
They blame the victim
They send their offspring to the best of schools
They will fight low college tuitions for average people
They love to own politicians
They work against healthcare
They love tax shelters
They want their interests protected
See them fly around in their jets
They call the poor leeches
They laugh at the people in the unemployed lines
They think they are self-made men
They are the dregs and leeches of the blood of the world
See them create so much pain and sorrow
Behold, the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields,
Which you kept back by fraud, are crying out against you,
And the cries of the harvesters
Have reached the ears of the Lord of hosts.
Woe unto the Leeches

Don't Be Fooled
When my twin brother was dying of cancer the insurance company pulled his insurance then the bank foreclosed his house. i hate them! I hate the right wing of today and corporate insurance companies and the rich get richer off the middle class and the union busting etc. i will always fight them no matter what happens. I love people with empathy and compassion and courage and real love. We are in a very bad chapter in American history and even if we do not pull out of it I still will fight because I am a universalist with spiritual ethics based on God is love and love thy neighbor as thyself. I know both parties are in the hands of money and lobby dollars but the right wing is way worse and the tea party even crazier. They won't tax the rich back to the Clinton years while they watch tuitions going up so the rich get to send their kids to school and the poor or lower middleclass can't send their kids to college. The tea party sides with banks and the oil companies and tax breaks for the wealthy not the working class and poor. The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) just came out with a report showing that since 1979 the top 1 percent increased wages and wealth a staggering 275%. This inequality and massive distribution of wealth is ruining our economy. The right wing spins this and blames the victims, accuses people of being lazy etc when the truth is they take from the poor to give to the rich and then they turn around and accuse everyone of starting class warfare. They are the class warefare oppressors! These mobsters and political cronies for the rich use evangelicals. Side with the poor and the working class. Remember in the feast of Jubilee the land went back to the original tribe every 50 years in Israel. The fields were to remain fallow and unplowed every seven years for one year and the poor only could glean. During harvest the fields could only be gone over once then the poor could go in. There was always justice and social justice and distribution of wealth. Jesus healed them all. Today we have cattle that don't graze but are fed on corn filled with growth hormones and antibiotics, chickens never seeing the sun with broken legs after a few months because of rapid growth for profit, pigs that never stand up though they are smarter than dogs all for the food industries. The grain companies feed these animals and it all goes for MONEY while corporate Christianity is more worried about the rapture and Armageddon then love and justice. Regulations let down increase lead, mercury, toxic chemicals and cancers and the evangelicals get used by the republican gangsters and rhetoric. GMO’s everywhere that are being questioned by more and more scientist and the right wing church is mum. Ministers preaching right out in the open, vote for these right wing gang leaders and not loosing their tax exempt status! Don't be fooled. It is the rich and major companies that have shipped the jobs out of here; it is not the poor and the middle class. They won’t tax the rich and still give exemptions to the OIL COMPANIES! C’mon folks! ! ! Don’t be fooled!
Big Oil just posted multibillion-dollar profits – AGAIN – and what are Republicans doing? Filibustering a jobs bill. Refusing to make billionaires pay their fair share. Basically anything they can do for the benefit of their wealthy buddies in the top 1% - and at the expense of the middle class. They don't want the middle class strengthened in any way as to give any credit to the left because they don't love their country. They love their power, the rich, the elite and all they do is grandstand and block help for hurting people.
I am for the party that distributes the wealth, that helps kids get to college, that supports women, that supports the mentally ill and doesn’t cut funding, that doesn’t allow companies to pollute and ruin the environment, that is green and wanting clean technology for our children, that leaves the rivers and lakes and wilderness in tact for future generations, that supports unions and good wages for working people with good benefits and a future, that believes is social security, that wants healthcare for every single citizen. Love thy neighbor as thyself. Do onto others as you would want them to do unto you. Do you want healthcare for you and yours, do you want college for your children, do you want clean water, do you want a good job for you and your children? ? ? Then fight these greedy, evil republicans of today who support the 1% of the filthy rich while they dismantle and take away the middle class in a horrible battle of class warfare. See what the Bible preaches about the rich and oppressors. The Scriptures constantly lift up the poor and working people and condemn the rich and those that do not share the wealth. I don’t care about names or tags but as a Christian I cannot see the 1% have all the marbles and allow our country to be taken over by these gangsters and liars. These right-wingers of today support the rich. Powerful and greedy and they are trying for the evangelical vote and bubba while taking bread off everyone’s table except their own. DON’T BE FOOLED

Far Too Many
Far too many with too little it has always been that way
And far too many have to struggle just to live from day to day
And far too many children never reach the adult stage
And people still dying of hunger in this enlightened age.
The majority of the wealth still owned by the privileged few
And that money speaks all languages still happen to be true
In a so called egalitarian society don't tell me all is fair
When so many workers are underpaid and so many on welfare.
With the increase in the human population comes the increase in poverty
And that for a few to grow wealthy many must grow poor doesn't seem just right to me
You make the horse work harder when you threaten him with the rod
And to keep the poor living in fear the wealthy invented god
A huge increase in poverty as the population grow
And that far too many have too little does this have to be so?
And far too many on low wages and far too many unemployed
And too many far too many in wars and famines have died.

Capitalism Battles Freedom
when capitalism battles freedom,
you get what we've become...
profit begats slavery,
the many become enslaved.
founded on freedom?
we took this land from
the Native Americans,
took their way of life,
their rights, their dreams...
in the name of God?
of progress?
we brought over the slaves
from the African shores...
to work, to use, to abuse...
we took their lives, their way of life,
their hopes and dreams...
in the name of free enterprise?
of profit?
we treated our women like possessions,
second class citizens at best.
they were expected to be silent,
to obey, to bear our children,
to cook and wash...
they had to fight for years
to get the right to vote...
even longer for equal wages...
in the name of righteous judgement?
of divine directive?
and now, we the poor,
of all colors and creeds,
are corporate owned.
held under the thumb
of the elite, put down
and trampled on...
our way of life taken,
our hopes for the future dashed...
faceless numbers that stink of poverty!
in the name of wealth and power?
in the name of apathetic profit?
profit at all costs!
capitalism... or something else,
fair, equal, with hope and chance
and dreams...
the way of freedom,
when dignity overcomes profit!
when the human being is worth more
than the dollar and the deal!

US Civil War in Two Oh One Four
In the US the year is two oh one four.
Chasms between the rich and poor
Have reached a stage of feudal times.
For the poor rights are no more;
For the rich there are no crimes.
What once was ruling middle class
Has faded away like winter grass.
That worker’s home, once so sublime,
Now only rents as prices climb.
Wealth and power are with those few
Who hoard it and pursue
Every chance to enhance their throne,
Each day leaving poor more alone.
Like Greece and Rome two hundred years
Hail turbulent change with truculent fears.
America can’t turn back to safer shore
Its ship is listing in two oh one four.
China has spoken with its $5000 car,
Superior to what was Detroit by far.
Unemployed flood streets, but can’t find,
Nor keep mortgages from falling behind.
Rich buy their homes as values crash;
Then rent back gaining more cash.
Crime rises when hopeless turn to stealth,
While privileged few fortress their wealth.
With nothing to lose, these poor attack
The wealthy, who fiercely fight back
From bastions of privilege and power,
Inflicting horrible losses as they devour
Hoards of poor as conflict rages on
Three years till established power is gone.
Smoky skies and blood drenched tears
Again chronicle man’s brutal, selfish years.

A Memory
Adown the grass-grown paths we strayed,
The evening cowslips ope’d
Their yellow eyes to look at her,
The love-sick lilies moped
With envy that she rather chose
To take a creamy-petalled rose
And lean it 'gainst her ebon hair,
All in that garden fair.
A languid breeze, with stolen scent
Of box-bloom in his grasp,
Sighed out his longing in her ear,
And with his dying gasp
Scattered the perfume at her feet
To blend with others not less sweet;
He loved her, but she did not care,
All in that garden fair.
The rose she honoured nodded down,
His comrades burst with spite:
Poor fool! he knew not he was doomed
To barely last the night;
Are hearts to her but as that flower,
The plaything of a careless hour,
To lacerate and never spare
All in that garden fair.
I held her hand that I might trace
Her fortune in its palm;
A bolder moonbeam than the rest
Crept up and kissed her arm,
And, kissing once, was loth to leave,
So hid himself within the sleeve
That clasped the lithe arm, white and bare,
All in that garden fair.
I traced her fortune: love and wealth,-
Tho’ life, alas! was short,
But will that wealth be bought with love?
Or love with wealth be bought?
I know not, knowing only this -
Her hand seemed waiting for a kiss,
I longed to, but I did not dare
All in that garden fair.
But she, alas! is not for me,
And I am not for her;
Yet ever deep within my thoughts
A faint regret must stir
A thrill of longing - that among
Those moonlit paths with lover's tongue
I might return, and woo her there
All in that garden fair.

A Pastoral Of Phyllis And Corydon
On a hill there grows a flower,
Fair befall the dainty sweet!
By that flower there is a bower,
Where the heavenly Muses meet.
In that bower there is a chair,
Fringèd all about with gold,
Where doth sit the fairest fair
That did ever eye behold.
It is Phyllis, fair and bright,
She that is the shepherds' joy,
She that Venus did despite,
And did blind her little boy.
This is she, the wise, the rich,
That the world desires to see:
This is _ipsa quæ_, the which
There is none but only she.
Who would not this face admire?
Who would not this saint adore?
Who would not this sight desire,
Though he thought to see no more?
O, fair eyes, yet let me see,
One good look, and I am gone:
Look on me, for I am he,
Thy poor silly Corydon.
Thou that art the shepherds' queen,
Look upon thy silly swain;
By thy comfort have been seen
Dead men brought to life again.

21 - Victorian Poverty
A period of extreme poverty of the lower working classes
As they worked to the death the rich sat politely on their arses
London’s poor tried to scrape a living doing jobs the devil created
As the rich sat at their windows laughing at the pitiful souls they hated
The poor would have sooner died than enter the poor houses control
As it was not fit to harbor a single living human soul
Small boys were used to clean narrow sooted chimneys
While in the coal mines children worked on their hands and knees
Although this golden age pioneered many useful inventions
Children privileged to go to school were whipped instead of detentions
And as the poor worked for a life at every waking hour
The rich covered their stench with perfume and wild flowers
The poor had nothing and hardly anything to eat
While the rich enjoyed tea and honey and sherbet lemon sweets
In Victorian London the poor just lived and died
The rich never really noticed the rich never really cried
A period of extreme poverty of the lower working classes
As they worked to the death the rich sat politely on their asses
