The Bush Cabinet is quite interesting, there are no flashy people in there. No stars. They all seem quite focused and serious and knowledgeable about the areas to which they have been appointed.

In this business, my business, I get to meet all kinds of incredible people, fascinating people, glamorous people and sexy people and highly intellectual people. And you meet them and you go 'interesting, interesting, interesting'. They're interesting, but not very many people stop you in your tracks.

That Beating Of The Bush
I'm not into,
The beating of the bush.
That beating of the bush.
I'm not into,
The beating of the bush.
That beating of the bush.
I have this 'thing' about honest and truth.
And those who become offended,
By declaring them too harsh to accept!
There has not been an experience I received,
I regretted with a wish to forget!
And those attempting to live their lives,
In pretense to deceive believing this is not deception...
Will always escape with excuses and alibis to make.
Charading as if...
No one recognizes,
Who is in masquerade.
And who amongst them fakes!
I'm not into,
The beating of the bush.
That beating of the bush.
I'm not into,
The beating of the bush.
That beating of the bush.
An honesty and truth spoken,
From deceivers is rare.
Those who deceive perceive...
Those who are direct and honest,
Are insensitive and do not care!
With a sharing of this mentality...
To those empathetic,
In a keeping of delusions...
Spared from despair!
But I know I'm not the only one...
Who elects to see,
Dishonesty from all people get up and leave.
I can't be!
I'm not into,
The beating of the bush.
That beating of the bush.
I'm not into,
The beating of the bush.
That beating of the bush.
I'm not into,
The beating of the bush.
That beating of the bush.
I'm not into,
The beating of the bush.
That beating of the bush.

Progress
THEY’VE builded wooden timber tracks,
And a trolly with screaming brakes
Noses into the secret bush,
Into the birdless brooding bush,
And the tall old gums it takes.
And down in the sunny valley,
The snorting saw screams slow;
O bush that nursed my people,
O bush that cursed my people,
That flayed and made my people,
I weep to watch you go

When I appointed the Minister of the Environment to major cabinet status, the Planning and Priorities committee, the signals that that sent through Ottawa were major, because that's what the bureaucracy understands.

I'm not trying necessarily to become a movie star; that wouldn't be bad but that's not the aim. I'm just trying to do interesting things and go into areas where I've not been before.

We need to have a strong defense focused on areas that are in the greatest vulnerability. I have been very concerned about America's 361 seaports as a point in which terrorist activities and materials could be brought into the country.

I'm very much in favor of focused responsibility, and so in the main areas that I'm worried about, I try to have a single person who is basically the key person in that area.

Paul Riser tells it in an interesting way; he dissects it and tells the structure, you know, 'you don't mention that part here.' But that's what's interesting about it and the people who are absent are interesting too.
Also, the more you're not focused on showbiz and instead focused on life, learning about other people, and keeping your eyes open and trying to be aware of the world.

You know what, man? I don't have time to worry about what people think. I'm focused on the youth of America. I'm focused on the kids who are dressing like whores. Because that's the message in the media.

Enjoy Every Bit
THERE is so much
unexplored deep down
the trenches of
the ocean
up there too
there is more to space
that is not grasped
by our limited
senses
there is more to
the mere glitter of the stars
you cannot catch all the
glow that the moon
is giving
our faces have only what
light can reflect
what air can we
touch
we are interesting
our oceans
spaces, stars, moons,
are but metaphors of
who we are
keep all these
in mind...you are too
interesting
you too are a metaphor
of what is there
unexplored
there is no hurry
enjoy every bit
grab every moment...

I Keep Focused
Whether I am on your list...
Or do not make an appearance at all.
Guest what?
Not a footprint on this path I have made,
Belongs to anyone else....
Who can claim a doing with little assistance.
I keep focused!
And guest what...?
You can compare me to anyone you please.
But I have never been impressed,
By your ability to stretch an imagination.
Why?
I keep focused!
And I try...
To stay focused.
And I choose not to guess how or when...
You have managed to do what you've done,
Without sweat or eyes dried,
As if a tear you have never cried.
Why?
I keep focused!
And I try...
To stay focused.
But I do believe the path you have chosen,
Has been repaved over so many times,
As to accomodate those who have found their way to go...
Much easier than the one I pioneered.
And I know it shows,
I am focused.
And I try...
To stay focused.
Yes I try...
To stay focused.
Whether I am on your list...
Or do not make an appearance at all.
Guest what?
Not a footprint on this path I have made,
Belongs to anyone else....
Who can claim a doing with little assistance.
I've updated and changed my list of preferenced wishes,
So many times...
I might have even been on the top of your list,
But...
Having a mind like this with desires to exist,
And improve what I do...
I keep focused.
With that in my mind,
That's kept...
Noticed.
With a leaving behind...
Those provoking others with their jokes!
To keep me...
Focused.

Malaam
This poem is yet for an appointed time but,
At the end it will speak to you and will not lie;
Though it seems so slow and it may delay,
Wait for it with your love and care for my muse!
It will surely come at the appointed time,
Because most of you are now being taken away by Satan!
That is why you do call sin enjoyment.
Like a great wind over the sea at last,
This poem is yet for an appointed time.
The stubboenness of the people is known by all,
So Malaam paid the fare and went down in to the ship;
And like lovely virgins and the story of the young men around,
But at the end with the hope of this poem which speaks with time.

It was about working with other musicians, but more than that it's about exploring musical areas that you could never do with the band you're in, in my case Judas Priest. You could tackle musical areas and lyrical areas that wouldn't be appropriate for Priest.

Interesting
There are so many different types of interesting.
Maybe you were trying to use a euphemism.
Most people don't want to hear a dysphemism.
You might of thought it was irresistible.
Theres a opinion going around that it was unfashionable.
Maybe it was very very sad.
Oh no you didn't say is was very very bad.
No one got to hear anything except that it was very interesting.
Its too bad because you had so many types of interesting.

You Don't Know Me
I will disguise myself so no one
will really know who I am.
I will wear bright clothes and flashy shoes
and they will call me ma'am.
But when I'm in no one's company
I'll let my hair all down.
I'll put on a drab old shirt
and slippers of shabby brown.
For clothes do make the person.
That's what I've been told.
When my flashy clothes are on
I'm a sight to behold.
But that's not who I am you know.
I'm just a plain old gal.
But I can fool the best of them.
They think I'm a femme fatale.
