I am poor and naked, but I am the chief of the nation. We do not want riches but we do want to train our children right. Riches would do us no good. We could not take them with us to the other world. We do not want riches. We want peace and love.

Some People

Some people have everything,
but really have nothing at all.
They have all the riches
one can really possess.

Some people have nothing;
just the clothes on their back,
but in reality have more
than all the material riches in the world.

They have happiness, contentment
and peace of mind.
Something the rich
try hard to find.

Not The One to Come Possessing Me

You,
From me...
Would like to disable,
All my fantasies!
But not one will you take,
Away from me.
Or eliminate desires from my heart to believe.

No You,
And I...
Are never gonna come to realize,
Eye to eye...
That love,
Is a capture that's free!
You're not the one to come to possess me!
Uh uh.

You...wish,
To be everything in life you think that I miss.
But you,
Show no interest or need...
To be the one to take,
And give to please!

No You,
And I...
Are never gonna come to realize,
Eye to eye...
That love,
Is a capture that's free!
You're not the one to come to possess me!
Uh uh.

Not the one to come,
Possessing me!
Uh uh.
You're not the one to come to possess me!
Uh uh.
Not the one to come,
Possessing me!
Uh uh.
You're not the one to come possessing me!

I just Don't Love You No More.

Once i was addicted to
loving you, but you were
addicted to money your
attitude got me into rehab.
riches riches riches is what
you yell in your sleep. you have
swin in his king size bed and
he have you replaced, Crying a
river you turn your back on me,
now you are back asking for
second chance, is obvious

Sonnet- Life Is Flexible

It is not wrong to make mistakes often;
It is not wrong to do blunders in life;
It is not wrong to see mishaps happen;
It is not wrong to panic 'midst your strife.

It is not wrong to be lazy some days;
It is not wrong to make decisions wrong;
It is not wrong to squander wealth some ways;
It is not wrong to love a thing for long.

It is not wrong to come late while bell chimes,
It is not wrong to selfish be, at times;
It is not wrong to envy some sometimes;
It is not wrong to sin too many times.

It is not wrong to err where others don't;
'Tis wrong to feel guilty when others won't.

Rags To Riches

Its a sign of the times, standing in line
Quietly waiting to go out of your mind
Theres nothing to say, no reason to stay
To fight for the right that they have taken away
Get what you get, not what you need
Time after time
* rags to riches, all fallen down
Rags to riches, tied up and bound
Theres no going under
When youre kicked to the ground
Rags to riches..rags to riches
Youre down on your knees, caught in the freeze
Crying inside but theres no easy release
Radical views--in yesterday news
Giving the reason with another excuse
Out on your own, cut to the bone
Time after time
Repeat * (2x)

A Better Person

MATERIAL RICHES MAKETH NOT THEE A BETTER PERSON,
MATERIAL RICHES MAYEST GIVE THEE QUALITY WINE,
MATERIAL RICHES MAYEST ACQUIRE FOR THEE, CHOICE VINTAGES,
MATERIAL RICHES MAYEST GIVE TO THEE, RICH AND SILKY CLOTHES,
INDEED, IT MAY GIVE THEE A COMFORTABLE ABODES AND LIFE,

INDEED, IT MAY GIVE TO THEE, ABUNDANCE IN GOLD, SILVER AND DIAMONDS
BUT MATERIAL RICHES DOST NOT MAKE A BETTER BEING OUT OF THEE,
LO, I TELL THEE THIS,
YOU IT IS, THAT CAN MAKE THYSELF A BETTER PERSON,
YES, A BETTER PERSON OF WISDOM, KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING,
YOU ALONE CAN SAY TO THYSELF, THIS IS GOOD AND THIS IS BAD,
YOU ALONE CAN CHOOSE TO BE A BETTER PERSON,
YES, YOU ALONE HAVE THE RIGHT TO DECIDE WHICH IS GOOD FOR THEE AND WHAT IS BAD FOR THEE,
THUS, YOU ALONE CAN MAKE THY WAY BETTER,
I AM A BETTER PERSON, BECAUSE I CHOSE TO BE ONE

Our Riches

We came onto this earth and we met money!
But we will die one day and leave it all;
Because i have never seen a rich person being buried with his or her money!

Our riches of this world,
The rich are not even buried with their best car! !
So if we are rich today,
Let us use it wisely to help the poor around us;
Because we will all die one day without the riches following us.

The poor will always be around us,
So it is better to gain heaven than hell!
And it is better to love one another than hate,
For we cannot be buried with all our riches!
And it is better to give than to receive.

Maybe, Maybe

(mags)
Maybe you were joking
When you said tath you were walking out on me
Maybe, maybe
Maybe I was joking
When I said that I was running out on you
Maybe, maybe
I could be wrong, so wrong
I could be wrong, so wrong
Yes, I could be wrong
I dont know, but its been said
Decisions travel far from heart to head
Maybe, maybe
Maybe it was over
When you chuked me out the rover at full speed
Maybe, maybe
I could be wrong, so wrong
I could be wrong, so wrong
Yes, I could be so wrong

Lauryn

Riches and power,
Rivers and snakes!
And the filthiness of fornication;
But the world loves what is wrong always,
And like the muse of Lauryn that opened your eyes.
