How incessant and great are the ills with which a prolonged old age is replete.

A Canticle

Like darkness descends an old raven
A fog obscures both banks
of the girl's eyes
Ah what a prolonged sleep

A red-eyed pigeon on the cornice sits
September nineteenth a flimsy telegram
Ah what a prolonged sleep

The storm dies down
on the tired mast
The storm uncoils
its eight tentacles

And a huge dance-hall looms into sight
And a red-eyed pigeon on the cornice sits
what’s the news now
Ah what a prolonged sleep

The storm dies down
on the dream book of Jung
The storm drops dead
from anaemia

But who will make that girl understand but this
There’s little profit in searching for the one
That is by now wood-dead from fasting an Adam’s lifetime
Ah what a prolonged sleep
Ah what a prolonged sleep

A Resting Needed Comes To Loom

Prolonged is this marathon,
Initiated by the budding of Spring...
And a thawing done once again,
With the dawning of promise...
Blooming within that seems not to end.

Prolonged is this marathon,
With a wish to witness and touch...
Daring an eye not to close too much,
Too soon.

But a resting needed comes to loom,
And linger,
Until...
Until,
A snore awakens from an unsuspecting nod.

Priests and doctors are privileged.

There is a tag to wipe your sin.
There is a tag to earn you bliss.
There is a tag to cure your ills.
There is a tag to keep off ills.
Priests and doctors get their fees.
You pay them without guarantees.

Idealistically Romantacized

The greatness of those who verbally express...
Whether with pen or deed intended.
Once did capture those moments,
In a time now gone and lived.
Yet endlessly prolonged in depictions never to finish,
For those stuck in memories of outdated prose.
As others make attempts to emulate,
Those treasured moments long gone.
Although...
Some cling onto language butchered,
In the hopes to refine those times overrated.
And glorified to uncover a sense of depth in imitation.
Leaving today's ills to be sweetened tomorrow.
To find they too have become idealistically romantacized.
Deep in the giving of much remembered attention.
And serviced with orchestration,
That invites probable applause.

All My Love

All my love, expressly and completely given to thee,
With this, I proffer my unconditional loyalty-
Naught is there, to offer such proper restrain:
Any attempt of battle shall surely be in vain!

Replete am I, with you in my grateful regard-
Alas, our love is predestined, not might I retard!
For I have been given all, I owe such to thee, in return:
Endeavor I shall, heretofore, your love, to earn!

All of my hopes, indeed, all of my dreams, replete-
WIth you I am made to be whole, my life complete!
Though surely we are not strangers, so much still to gather,
Days pass, and with each we more fond, or rather
Do we grow ever more in love, with passing of days;
A love that grows, that lasts-indeed, a love that stays!

The Round Table

There's a table in the round
where great minds used to meet.
Imparted wisdom became its quest
and it became replete
with emanations of the time
of lofty prose and crafty rhyme.

And if I had the chance to sit
I hardly think that I would fit.
For my words are simple of today
and I find it hard to find a way
to sit among these notable ones
who were the literary phenomenoms.

When the Lad for Longing Sighs

When the lad for longing sighs,
Mute and dull of cheer and pale,
If at death's own door he lies,
Maiden, you can heal his ail.

Lovers' ills are all to buy:
The wan look, the hollow tone,
The hung head, the sunken eye,
You can have them for your own.

Buy them, buy them: eve and morn
Lovers' ills are all to sell.
Then you can lie down forlorn;
But the lover will be well.

A Catering Administered

Awaiting in a patient anticipation,
For a yesterday gone...
To make a prolonged reappearance,
Will at best...
Not soon occur.
But will expose those selfish and greedy,
Bigoted and disturbed.

A catering administered and purposely done,
Has spoiled the majority...
With beliefs their deceit,
Leaves them to be the 'special ones'.

Awaiting in a patient anticipation,
For a yesterday gone...
To make a prolonged reappearance,
Will at best...
Not soon occur.

Protesters lining up on streets to jeer,
For a numbing to continue...
Preventing truth to approach near.
And...
Politicians with false tongues,
Blaming conditions on recent elected ones.
With a hope no one notices,
Their pockets full...
From theft that has been legally consented,
Condoned to keep seats they've 'won'.

Awaiting in a patient anticipation,
For a yesterday gone...
To make a prolonged reappearance,
Will at best...
Not soon occur.
But will expose those selfish and greedy,
Bigoted and disturbed.

Weave In, Weave In, My Hardy Life

WEAVE in! weave in, my hardy life!
Weave yet a soldier strong and full, for great campaigns to come;
Weave in red blood! weave sinews in, like ropes! the senses, sight
weave in!
Weave lasting sure! weave day and night the weft, the warp, incessant
weave! tire not!
(We know not what the use, O life! nor know the aim, the end--nor
really aught we know;
But know the work, the need goes on, and shall go on--the death-
envelop'd march of peace as well as war goes on;)
For great campaigns of peace the same, the wiry threads to weave;
We know not why or what, yet weave, forever weave.

Into Forensics

Death did not kill them.
The way they lived killed them.
Death just ended it from being prolonged.

And stopping their activities,
To bring them eternal peace.
Experienced by a physical release.
Allowing an entrapped soul to be freed.

Death did not kill them.
The way they lived killed them.
Death just ended it from being prolonged.

Unlike ignorance.
Ignorance commits mass murder on a daily basis.
And gets away with it.
To defend those who become offended...
If they are accused of it.
'AND' their guilt is proven!

You're into forensics.
Figure that one out!
I'm going somewhere to enjoy my divorce.

In It I Trust

I have felt pain.
But there was nothing to gain,
By a prolonged weeping to achieve.

I have been treated as if I did not exist.
By those I loved devotedly.
And laid to share a nakedness with.

Names I have been called,
Some of which were within listening distance.
As if I had been born,
Without feelings felt to experience.

I have had lows.
To make anyone's bottom,
Appear to be 'up' for me.

But...
Such faith I have and in it I trust.

I have felt pain.
But there was nothing to gain,
By a prolonged weeping to achieve.

I have learned many times to get up off my knees.
And to step over obstacles left to leave behind.
With a looking forward I do as I keep this belief...
My best to give is only for those knowing,
In the giving of it that is shared...
There is a mutual deserving of it to cherish.

Denials Kept

Denials kept,
Victimize and kill.
Denials kept,
Protect the sick from ills.
Denials kept,
Do not warm but chill.
Denials kept,
Keep the truth concealed.
Denials kept,
Produce conflicts to fulfill.
Denials kept,
Hides inside those minds that lie...
To themselves with alibis.

Denials kept,
Victimize and kill.
Denials kept,
Protect the sick from ills.
Denials kept,
Do not warm but chill.
Denials kept,
Keep the truth concealed.
Denials kept,
Hides inside those minds that lie...
To themselves with alibis.

Denials kept,
Destroys not create.
Denials kept,
Chases with debates.
Denials kept,
Confuses those who lose.
Denials kept,
Is the choice of fools.
Denials kept,
Hides inside those minds that lie...
To themselves with alibis.

Denials kept,
Victimize and kill.
Denials kept,
Protect the sick from ills.
Denials kept,
Do not warm but chill.
Denials kept,
Keep the truth concealed.
Denials kept,
Produce conflicts...
To fulfill.

Denials kept,
Protect the sick from ills.
Denials kept,
Protect the sick from ills.
Denials kept,
Protect the sick from ills.

Denials kept,
Kills.
Kills.
Kills.

Love Sonnet 29 The Sweet Moments We Tend To Hold Longer

The sweet moments we tend to hold longer,
While sufferings are kept the very least,
Such when incessant winds had blown stronger,
Sweetness of life is not so much decreased;
Our lives are hewn like each a distinct shoe,
We take our pick that would seem to suffice,
Some lives so dull, some grand of so much hue,
As some dishes taste great, some lacking spice;
But mark, what we attain or hoard and keep,
Are times, not gems inside a treasure chest,
These memories of when we laugh or weep,
All pass as history like all the rest;
....May all the sweet moments themselves, repeat,
....To liven again lives simple or great.
