I should be getting photographs of me with my arm around these people like restaurant owners do, because eventually I am going to have to prove to my kids that once I was an actor!

Chatterbox
Many say they can deliver,
But only few can receive.
Lips flapping nonstop...
Don't believe!
Ears may be wide open,
But the brain is shut closed.
Ignorance exposed...
Is there to show!
People think they get their blessings,
By listening to a preacher.
Fidgeting and sitting,
While nothing's sinking in.
Schools may hire teachers,
To give lessons to the kids.
But nobody cares,
What's in these quick heads of kids.
'I do! '
That's not enough.
'Me too! '
That's not enough.
'We do,
And we make it our business to prove it! '
'I do! '
That's not enough.
'Me too! '
That's not enough.
'We do,
And we make it our business to prove it! '
And 'this' is apparent.
Absent parents on the scene,
Pretending caring done is...their 'thing'.
With chatterbox nonstop...
As if a corn popping machine.
And that caring's not there,
Anywhere to be seen.
'I do! '
That's not enough.
'Me too! '
That's not enough.
'We do,
And we make it our business to prove it! '
'I do! '
That's not enough.
'Me too! '
That's not enough.
'We do,
And we make it our business to prove it! '
'I do! '
That's not enough.
'Me too! '
That's not enough.
'We do,
And we make it our business to prove it! '
'I do! '
That's not enough.
'Me too! '
That's not enough.
'We do,
And we make it our business to prove it! '
Chatterbox!
'I do.'
Chatterbox!
'Me too.'
Chatterbox!
'We do...
And, so do you! '
Chatterbox!
'I do.'
Chatterbox!
'Me too.'
Chatterbox!
'We do...
And, so do you! '

Local companies don't have to internalize their costs, and few actually do, but they tend to more often because the owners live there and they have to show their face in town, and their kids play with other kids.

Old photographs
Old photographs are dangerous things
if you have a jealous girlfriend, fiancée
or wife
who enquires when she sees them
and wants to know everything
about old flames,
why they left and with whom
and then tries to be a cleansing broom,
to sweep everything right into the dustbin
and when at a party, at the cinema, at a restaurant
or even on the sidewalk in the street
you meet someone who is depicted
in a photograph
the girlfriend, fiancée,
or wife
leers at her with killer eyes
as if a laser rays are going
to blaze to dissolve, to destroy
and old photographs are dangerous things
especially if they are quite revealing
and later they have the ability
to bite with a dangerous sting.

Creep Hymn
The creep
Goes to a restaurant
And order the food to eat at the restaurant
But when the food comes he eats a little bit of the food
Just so he can taste it
And he tells everybody very loud that the food that he order
Taste like shit
And then he takes the plate and throws it on the floor
But he lives the restaurant without pay
The waitress from the restaurant looks everywhere for him in the Restaurant
Sorry waitress he is gone out of the door
And he run away so that you couldn't catch him

A Seduction: Small Space Photographs
We were at your mother's house
in the early autumn chill
rummaging the attic
looking at photographs;
close
in the small space,
turning pages
You leaned into me
to get a better look
and I let you.
A murmur
over a blurred baby photo
and the hairs on my neck
curled from the
warmth of your breath,
I tried to hide the fact
that I was shuddering.
'Are you cold' you said.
putting your arm around
offering warmth.
I took that cuddle
and let it settle
into my heart space.
That was all
that was needed then
a simple hug and touch
your warm breath
and I eased back
relaxed
feeling at home;
and I was.
I was thinking we were looking at family
and I was imagining you there in photos
our kids might be looking at years from now.
And you were:
you said it:
'Wonder what our kids would look like.'
you said
You seduced me with that question
and I you when I said:
'I wonder too.'
We started with a hug
above those photographs.

On the one hand, people think they own kids; they feel that they have the right to tell the kids what to do. On the other hand, people envy kids. We'd like to be kids our whole lives. Kids get to do what they do. They live on their instincts.

Cars... Waiting in the sun(9/11/01)
Patiently waiting their owners,
the cars sit alone
Blue Mercedes, black ford,
red Dodge, grey Toyota
But for tonight these waiting cars,
will not be going home
No one gives it a thought,
nor cares an iota
Only two days later
does one give it a thought
That these cars waiting their owners,
and coated with dust
Would never be driven again
by their owners
Though waiting, patiently…
oblivious in trust
Waiting in bright sunlight,
where once there was shade
From the two majestic towers
that seemed to forever persist
Waiting in the lonely parking lot
for owners delayed
By the fact that their owners…
and the towers… no longer exist.

Kids are forever
You’re never quite free
From your kids..no, no! !
No… you’re never quite free
From your kids
They could be doing
Quite fine
Or even doing
Hard time
there's no way you can be
as eventually you'll see
That you’re never quite free
From your kids! !

Unhinge
Unhinge the photographs
we licked as
children
tongues in Sarishvili
unhinge
the dead foxes in photographs
kids
that talk Swahili and eat jam.
Jam and Persian ponies-
If I tell you there's no traffic
jam at 4 am in Skopje or no jam in jars, hot suns and super-novas
Will you eat
Me up?
Like air-
Unhinge paper clips or just an eye-lash
and indigo photographs of Romania
In 1963
If I tell you there's no earth-
quakes,
Unhinge Vlach alphabet, breaths caught on cameras
I the darkroom-
when we licked
our photographs of
world chimeras and natural-
yes, natural disas-
ters.
Unhinge.
Lips and nasty
weathers, rain outlets and
rusty sonatas-
Unlock your hair
to
me.
Unlock your hair
to
me.
In one of the mosques in Sarajevo
the cats talk Sanskrit-
Unhinge,
not us in the darkroom licking indigo languages
and scrambled worlds,
but
the sparrows
from
the
sycamore
branches.
Even
they are
sick,
we
don't
speak
our
language-
s.

I haven't really decided to be an actor yet! I started doing plays when I was about 15 or 16. I only did it because my dad saw a bunch of pretty girls in a restaurant and he asked them where they came from and they said drama group. He said, 'Son, that is where you need to go.'

Owners on a Lead
The dogs were out walking,
their owners on the lead.
The dogs take them,
wherever they want to go.
The owners have to stop
when they want to sniff around the trees
or do their toiletries.
So who is taking whom for a walk,
and who is on the lead?
I suspect that it is the owners
who are on the lead.

I Can See It In Your Eyes
By your leave, I think that Ill be going now
I think Ive stayed a little long
I looked up all my mothers recipes
I cant think what I did wrong
We go to a restaurant, but you dont like wine
You say its love you want, but there is no time
I realize, I can see it in your eyes
You keep staring at the floor
I used to look at your school photographs
But I dont have them anymore
I wonder whos in my old college rooms
Or stuck on my old locker door
I dream of the ships at sea, on a stormy night
I wish that it was me, but I wake in fright
I realize, I can see it in your eyes
Ive only got myself to blame
Winter kisses when your lips were blue
Like chasing wild geese in the snow
Pressing faces on the window panes
But thats a long long time ago
We go to a restaurant
You say its love you want
I realize, I can see it in your eyes
Youre moving on to something more

Actor Of Love
Hold on
I have found something I longing for
To fill the hollowness of my heart
But why I'm feeling more of sorrow
Before
I am the one who said: 'Oh, I'll control'
But now I realize you are my world
And it's waiting to break apart
I'm an actor of love
I'm trying to perfect
But I'm just fooling around
I'm an actor of love
I want to be your hero
But I've made myself a clown
I'm an actor of love
I need you by my side
But now you leave me alone
I'm an actor of love
I beg your forgiveness
But you refuse me so cold
Sometimes
We wonder why we should be together
Do we really dream of love forever?
Or we afraid to be alone
I'm an actor of love
I want to protect you
But I always hurt you bad
I'm an actor of love
I want to be your shield
But may turn someone you hate
I'm an actor of love
We kiss in the morning
But in night we have a war
I'm an actor of love
We care for each other
But we only circle round
If this love only makes me crazy
Take the story and just let it be
Tragedy or comedy
Or anything it wants to be

With A Pity That You Want
With a pity that you want,
To prove it.
With a pity that you want.
And with a pity that you want,
To prove it.
With a pity that you want.
You weep too deep,
With a pity that you want to prove it.
With a pity that you want.
To realize...
A pain you keep.
With a pity that you want,
To prove it.
With a pity that you want.
Other people who have less,
Do their best to not in public bleed.
But...
You're one of those,
With a pity that you want to prove it.
With a pity that you want.
Yes you're one of those,
With a pity that you want to prove it.
With a pity that you want.
You weep too deep,
With a pity that you want to prove it.
With a pity that you want.
And your wants are weak.
With a pity that you want to prove it.
With a pity that you want.
Other people who have less,
Do their best to not in public bleed.
But...
You're one of those,
With a pity that you want to prove it.
With a pity that you want.
Yes you're one of those,
With a pity that you want to prove it.
With a pity that you want.
You're one of those,
With a pity that you want to prove it.
With a pity that you want.
Yes you're one of those,
With a pity that you want to prove it.
With a pity that you want.
Other people who have less,
Do their best to not in public bleed.
Oh...
But you're one of those,
With a pity that you want to prove it.
With a pity that you want.
Yes you're one of those,
With a pity that you want to prove it.
With a pity that you want.
With a pity that you want,
To prove it.
With a pity that you want.
And with a pity that you want,
To prove it.
With a pity that you want,
To show you're one of those...
With a pity that you want,
To show exposed.
With a pity that you want,
To be one of those!
