Lost in a barrel of wine and whining
Snared in a trap of your own designing

Just hang on in there

And learn that when you do make a mistake, you'll surface that mistake so you can get it corrected, rather than trying to hide it and bury it, and it becomes a much bigger mistake, and maybe a fatal mistake.

If You Ever Make a Mistake
If you make a mistake,
Admit it.
And get it right out of your way.
Don't you ever fake it to escape.
Believing what is done is okay!
If you ever make a mistake,
Just admit it!
And get it out of the way.
Don't you ever fake it to escape...
That mistake someday you'll repay!
There's no need for moaning or groaning,
Over what's been done.
No one lives a perfect life,
Under the Sun!
Alibis are like houseflies.
They begin to annoy.
And habits are like pests when invited...
They are hard to destroy.
Even if you hit 'em with a bat...
They come right back!
Strap in that saddle and take that ride.
Admit that mistake made,
And push it aside!
'Okay, okay, okay!
So I made a mistake.
So what's the big deal? '
~Getting you to admit it! ~
If you make a mistake,
Admit it.
And get it right out of your way.

Don't you ever fake it to escape...

'Okay, okay, okay!
So I made a mistake.
So what's the big deal? '
~Getting you to admit it!
If you didn't...
That mistake would have others that you make!
And with me,
That's not okay! ~
'Geeessshhh...
Okay!
But please...
Stop the song and dance routine.
I get it! '

Masking yourself
Sasha screamed at me this morning
Grace yelled at me yesterday
Mom barked at me the day before
It was all my fault
My mistake
The mistake
As I knew it would be
Once we are alone
The mistake was not being able to avoid the mistake
Until fate avoided it itself
And what's more to bear
Than the lesson of yesterday
And then today
Life cannot be a charade
If you learn from your mistakes
And mistakes you didn't make
Because you won't need to mask yourself
From your mistakes

In all the work we do, our most valuable asset can be the attitude of self-examination. It is forgivable to make mistakes, but to stand fast behind a wall of self-righteousness and make the same mistake twice is not forgivable.

Illiteracy Versus Ignorance
The difference between illiteracy and ignorance is some people make choices that they regret for the rest lives.
And live in a state of denial rather then admitting they made the mistake.
While other accept it as a mistake and learn from it.

Perfect Sense
Its been so long since the first day
I met you girl and since then
Weve been to heaven and been through hell
Weve seen life in each others skin and through each others eyes you know me better than I know myself
I thought of you today and wondered why
Id torn down what wed built
I checked my memories felt guilty for the way
I felt I know you think
I think I know everything but thats so far from the truth
Only thing I really know is theres so much for me to learn from you
Dont know the reason why it took me so long to see that
In a less than perfect world you make perfect sense to me
Dont know the reason why it took me so long to see that in a picture perfect world youd always be standing next to me
Ive seen that picture too, the one you said you painted in your head a mural of a perfect home you and I a family and friends
Cant change the past cant change whats passed so I guess theres just one thing to do
Let you know just how I feel and ask to build a new future with you
No need to look down you know if you fall that I will catch you
Ill be your safety net and always remember Id die for you and no one else but you
I will be here for you I will always be here for you

Fantastic Voyage
In the event that this fantastic voyage
Should turn to erosion and we never get old
Remember its true, dignity is valuable
But our lives are valuable too
Were learning to live with somebodys depression
And I dont want to live with somebodys depression
Well get by, I suppose
Its a very modern world, but nobodys perfect
Its a moving world, but thats no reason
Shoot some of those missiles
Think of us as fatherless scum
It wont be forgotten
cause well never say anything nice again, will we?
And the wrong words make you listen
In this criminal world
Remember its true, loyalty is valuable
But our lives are valuable too
Were learning to live with somebodys depression
And I dont want to live with somebodys depression
Well get by I suppose
But any sudden movement Ive got to write it down
They wipe out an entire race and Ive got to write it
Down
But Im still getting educated but Ive got to write it down
And it wont be forgotten
cause Ill never say anything nice again, how can i?

The Reality In Fiction
Why is fiction so much better the real.
A story book wedding.
A perfect house.
A perfect family.
All lies.
Yet we want it more then life itself.
We drown our self in it.
From the movies to the stereo.
Absolute bullsh*t.
Deny it all you want.
But the truth is we need learn to forgive those we hate.
Apologize when we make a mistake and if we can make right.
Keep at it do the best we can.
Learn to have a plan.
Don't, hesitate.
Never procrastinate.
If we catch a break,
see it as just that and make the most of it.
Instead of toasting to it.
Be thankful, but don't spend to much time on it.
For it won't necessarily always be there.
And if you do this you wont have as many regrets.
Ambition is my sword.
I swing into everything i can.
One day ill conquer this land.
Till then I'm the one who constantly has objectives.
Empower your self with knowledge.
Constantly read.
Understanding destroys the ignorance.
Also take risks.
But know all the exits.
For you never know when you'll suddenly need to go.
Back your *ss up always.
Prepare for the unexpected.
What if you were rejected.
Better yet what if your accepted.
We are all on our way out.
Dress accordingly.
If you want to be pretty when you die then do so.
If you dont care, dont care then.
Its not a game in which only one can win.
We all will win. We all will loose.
So it really doesnt matter what you choose.
It begins so it can end.
A happening.
A action versed to a reaction.
All the facts are simple.
The puzzle pieces fit, imagine
it. All has become one.
One has become all.
So there is no time to stall.
For every second you waste goes to death embrace.
So just keep at it.

Do Not Take A Break
No mistake no mistake
Do not take a break.
Go on go on
Poems a head.
Poet is free
He can fly as he like.
Old people only
To safe their skin
Point out mistake.
New people know
No mistake anywhere
Only new people
Look new thing and
Proceed in new road.

I Want You Back
I want you back
I made a mistake breaking up with you
I realized that you were the right guy
You make me laugh, smile, be myself, and have fun
Please come back to me and give me another chance
I want you back
You not like other guys
I thought you not calling back, answer the phone, text, and hanging out with me
Mean you don't want me anymore
So that why I break up with you and I make a mistake for doing that
I want you back
When I got another boyfriend
I keep thinking about you
Everywhere I go with my new boyfriend, it
Remind me of all good times we have together
I want you back
I made a mistake breaking up with you
I realized that you were the right guy
You make me laugh, smile, be myself, and have fun
Please come back to me and give me another chance
I want you back
We are perfect together
You make me feel special and keep me going
Even when you are jerk sometimes
I still love you
I want you back

Perfect For Me
Perfect For Me Reprised
Written by: Wilfred Mellers some time ago
So you’ve gained an extra pound
It doesn’t really mean I don’t want you around
So the close you wore might fit you tight
It doesn’t mean a thing when we turn out the light
I get your point of view
There’s no one I love more than you
You fit me to a tee my guide
There’s no place I’d rather be than right here by your side
I thank God above, for you are the one I love
I thank my lucky star, just because you are
You may not be perfect, but you’re perfect for me
You may not be perfect, but with you I want to be
Sometimes we may argue, fuss, and fight
I will always be your shining Knight
We may not agree on everything
Only you can make the flowers bloom in spring
Joy is what you’re make of
You’re the only one I love
And for every felt heartache
You’re still every breath I take
While making love I feel my body shake
Each time we kiss I feel the earthquake
When I’m with you my soul is so awake
Loving you could never be a mistake
From the day you were born you are perfection
Beauty true incarnate from conception
I have found my satisfaction
With you love is my only option
Any fool that’s ever had a heart can see we’ll never part
To measure my love it would be off the chart
Finer you are than symphonies by Mozart
You’ve always been to me a work of art

My Mistake
(p. sawyer/g. jones)
My mistake was to love you, girl
Love you, girl
My mistake was to give you all
Tell the world
First i had you
In the palm of my hand
But i let you slip through
Like rain to sand
At the beginning
When i didn't care
Like my own reflection
You were always there
My mistake was to love you, girl
Love you, girl
My mistake was to give you all
Tell the world
You were sweeter
Then my very own skin
But what did i do for you
Not a thing
In front of my friends
You broke me down
Since then darling
It's hard to track you down
My mistake was to love you, boy
Love you, boy
My mistake was to give my all
Tell the world
Many a smile
You put om ny face
But i paid dearly
With the tears i taste
My tenderness
Made you cold, not sweet
'cause if a girl loves you
You only call her weak
My mistake was to love you, boy
Love you, boy
My mistake was to give my all
Tell the world
My mistake was to love you, girl
Love you, girl
My mistake was to give you all
Tell the world

Mistake (acoustic)
As I sift and drift through bullshit,
That plagues from day to day,
Would you ever really notice I've gone away?
CHORUS
I'm over the wall,
Over the hill,
Over at your place,
I'm over the safetys,
Over the phone calls,
Over the rage,
What a mistake.
When you've lost the stones to throw,
The ones I found to make a fire,
And all the lonely souls that say so get fired.
CHORUS
What a mistake,
What a mistake,
What a mistake,
What a mistake,
I've never been lost,
I've never been found,
And it make no difference, if I'm around,
There's never been words, there's never been actions
I've never been promises that i've never kept.
CHORUS

Shes Perfect
(toby keith/wayne perry)
I took lisa down to the cafe
The one where we first fell in love
I played the same song that we used to dance to
Hopin it might be enough
But when I told her I was sorry
That only made it worse
Then the waitress came over and saw lisa cryin
Said, honey, whats the matter with her
Theres nothin wrong with her, shes perfect
Shes as pure as she can be
Shed never say it, but the only mistake she ever made was me
It might appear to you shes broken
By the teardrops in her eyes
But theres nothin wrong with her, shes perfect
Im the one who made her cry
Could you please bring us two cups of coffee
We might be here for a while
Make mine black and hers sweet as sugar
Something that matches her smile
Shes already loved me for half of her life
Shes never been untrue
So let me tell you before you ask her
If theres anything you can do
Theres nothin wrong with her, shes perfect
Shes as pure as she can be
Shed never say it, but the only mistake she ever made was me
It might appear to you shes broken
By the teardrops in her eyes
But theres nothin wrong with her, shes perfect
Im the one who made her cry
Theres nothin wrong with her, shes perfect
Im the one who made her cry

Mr.Perfect
Mr. Perfect
By: Jean Pullman
Your smile it warms my soul
Your touch makes me lose all control
Your personality is too good to be true
Your looks I can’t begin to explain what they do.
CHORUS
You’re Mr. Perfect in every way
You become more perfect with every day
You’re Mr. Perfect no matter what they say
You’re Mr. Perfect you blow me away
You are so perfect to me.
Every single thing you do
Makes it impossible to forget you
You are the only one that I can truly say
Is perfect in every way
Maybe that’s why you can’t be
Not with her but with me
Because your perfect and of course you’re taken
Because of you my hearts forsaken.
CHORUS
You’re Mr. Perfect in every way
You become more perfect with every day
You’re Mr. Perfect no matter what they say
You’re Mr. Perfect you blow me away
You are so perfect to me.
I die a little more inside
Every time I look into your eyes
And know that you can’t be mine
It will be hard to find
Another guy like you
Who can take away the blue
So now I go on to say
Your perfect in every way.

The Value Of Innocence
I ONCE HAD A MOST VALUABLE POSSESION,
MORE VALUABLE THAN GOLD AND SILVER,
MORE VALUABLE THAN DIAMONDS AND RUBBIES,
YEA, EVEN MORE VALUABLE THAN BRIMSTONE,
NOW I LIVE WITHOUT MY MOST CHERISHED POSSESION,
YEA, NOW I LIVE WITHOUT MY INNOCENCE!
YEA, I HAVE LOST MY IGNORANCE!
NOW, ALL I HAVE IS WISDOM, AND KNOWLEDGE,
CLOTHED WITH COAL AND LORBS,
YET, MY MOST VALUED POSSESION WAS MY INNOCENCE AND IGNORANCE,
YEA, IT WAS INDEED MORE VALUABLE THAN ALL THE WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE IN THE WORLD!
