It was also important for me to have a burning desire to achieve something worthwhile on that instrument, and I devoted many many many hours with little or no compensation to perfecting whatever I could, because I loved it so much.

What Would Be My Compensation?
And what would be my compensation?
For applying your constant aggrevation,
Towards years of my devoted dedication.
Now that you have discovered...
My qualifications.
Would you like I should dismiss...
The hurting lies uttered,
From your deceiving lips?
And what would be my compensation?
For a forgiveness through tears,
I tried but gave.
Throughout character assassinations,
And slanderous comments from you that were made.
Taking my friends...
And turning family members into foes.
These are just but a few,
Of those evil things done you have exposed.
And what would be my compensation?
To save you from your own degradation.
Now that you realize,
Your own lies have betrayed.
You swim with those who used you as a tool...
In a quagmire you allowed and self righteously made.
And what would be my compensation?
Since where you are...
Has delighted my fascination!
And I am neither judgemental,
Or easily pleased.
Observing you on your knees pleading,
Does absolutely nothing for me.
I've done that myself much better...
Too many times before!

Hearts On Fire
We saw the writings on the wall
When heathens ruled above us all
Tormented, we still heard the call
You come to bring us down
Wield the scepter, steal the crown
Time on the throne is running out
Cause seasons change but we are still the same
Event though the cold winds blow were burning like a flame
Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire
Burning, burning with desire
Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire
Burning, burning with desire
Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire
Burning, burning with desire
Burning for the steel
Hearts On Fire
For years shunned by society
Outcasts, condemned for our beliefs
Our legions grew in secrecy
And now, the time is here
I see the Templars everywhere
The Freedom Call is drawing near
We hold our rebel banners up with pride
The colours crimson and the Hammer is the sign
Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire
Burning, burning with desire
Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire
Burning, burning with desire
Hearts On Fire, Hearts On Fire
Burning, burning with desire
Burning for the steel

Burning Bridges
I know exactly how you feel,
Cause you were this to close a deal,
And everything fell from out your hands,
You must decide on other plans now,
But maybe it's best to just ignore it,
Otherwise, oh, you're living for it,
And anyone else would wonder what this is,
Many folks said you sold your soul to the..
Burning, burning, burning bridges.
Oh, desire,
Can cause heart attacks.
Burning, burning, burning, burning, burning, burning.

Hopelessly Devoted To You
(john farrar)
Guess mine is not the first heart broken
My eyes are not the first to cry
Im not the first to know
Theres just no getting over you
You know Im just a fool whos willing
To sit around and wait for you
But, baby, cant you see
Theres nothing else for me to do?
Im hopelessly devoted to you
But now theres nowhere to hide
Since you pushed my love aside
Im out of my head
Hopelessly devoted to you
Hopelessly devoted to you
Hopelessly devoted to you
My head is saying, fool, forget him.
My heart is saying, dont let go.
Hold on till the end.
And thats what I intend to do
Im hopelessly devoted to you
But now theres nowhere to hide
Since you pushed my love aside
Im out of my head
Hopelessly devoted to you
Hopelessly devoted to you
Hopelessly devoted to you

My burning desire to create
MY BURNING DESIRE TO CREATE
So intense and so powerful
Like a furious burning fire
My desire to create is so powerful
So painful and so throbbing
Like a hungry child crying for food
My desire to create is so hopeful
So rigid and so consistent
Like a passionate entrepreneur
My passion to create is so unshakeable
Every hour that passes by I want to create
Every moment I spend I long to create
I have a living urge and desire to create
A living passion to express myself
A burning desire to live my true life
Sometimes I hide myself in the midst of business
At times I deliberately cloud my space with my busy life
Sometimes I try to hide away from my passion to create
Sometimes I try to narrow down the size of my passion
But regardless of all my efforts my desire always finds me
I am so transparent inside, my passion to create
Has invaded all my privacy inside
So strong and so powerful
Like a helpless child looking for love and security
My desire to create is so seeking and so burning.

Two Sleepy People
Two sleepy people miles apart,
May be sleepy but close in heart.
Two so alike it's hard to believe.
Too much to do, too much to achieve.
Awake in hours of the night,
Unable to rest, too uptight.
Two sleepy people, one young, one old.
Maybe sleepy but both are bold.
Not afraid to tackle anything.
Not afraid to face what life may bring.
Awake and burning the hours away.
Two sleepy people are too far away.

Desire Me Not
desire me not
undesirable am i
pull me like a string
an end
i have none
desire me not
pain of the needle
piercing am i
blood drips from my
mind and
stains are all over the
the clothes of my body
naked
and tattooed and
threatening to the senses
of what is true
i am spun from lies
and lies you said
you abhor
savor me not for i am
an herb bitter
lick me not for i am a plant
all made of thorns
and sap
that blinds the eye
of those who pretend
seeing me
like sun am i
burning burning itself
to give
you light and
be not confident
i also know how
to scorch for torch
am i
burning what says
to be dry
desire me not
for at the end
i know the answer to
the riddle of the
Sphinx
the world crumples
before my feet
and then desire me
not
for without a word
shall i be gone
love me not
for i am lost in the woods
of love
and lust.

Devil Music
They called him 'master'...
When he came.
To take them from the comfort of their homes.
Stripped of treasures,
And their names.
With nothing they could say,
And silent broken hope!
Forced to worship,
Strange deities.
And folks who treated them
Like they were beasts.
Some tried to flee,
The increasing heat.
But many found themselves soon in defeat.
The blazing burned their feet.
And the ones who ran were chased like enemies.
This fire...
It kept on burning!
Burning, burning, burning...
Out of control.
The 'master'...
Desired this fire.
To burn, burn, burn
Out of control!
Morning, noon and night
They'd call him devil.
And sang the music to him that he loved.
They would dance.
And together clap their hands.
This devil music kept them in a hold!
Yes,
The fire...
It kept on burning.
Burning, burning, burning...
Out of control.
The 'master'...
He kept the fire.
Burning, burning, burning
Out of control.
Yes this fire,
It kept on burning!
Burning, burning, burning
Out of control.
I said the fire...
It still keeps burning!
And it's blazing in a rage,
That's out of control!
The spreading flame...
Became higher.
So high it fixed in young minds,
Sold by the old!
Yes,
The fire...
It kept on burning.
Burning, burning, burning...
Out of control.
The 'master'...
He kept the fire.
Burning, burning, burning
Out of control.
Burning, burning, burning
Out of control.
Burning, burning, burrrrrnin...
Out of contrrroooool.
'ssssyesssss...
Children! '
