Down to the Bone
Left alone to devices my own
Feeding off love, chew down to the bone
The world surrounds it grounds me
Find me and you’ve found me.
Who are these people?
These masks parading vanity.
Leave me and believe me when I say
That no promise of insanity could stir me
Myself away from the day at hand and changing.
Do you find me strange?
The melody fresh is the freshest breathe
The harmony arranging
Holds me safe within myself
Holds me as I’m changing

Promise
Breakdown
I can't take this
I need somewhere to go
I need you
I'm so restless
I don't know what to do
Cuz we've had our rough times
Been fighting all night
And now we're just slippin away
So you'll give me this change
To make the wrongs right, to say
Don't, don't, don't walk away
I promise
I won't let you down (you down)
If you take my hand tonight
I promise
We'll be just fine
This time
If you take my hand tonight
If you take my hand tonight
Without you
I go through the motions
Without you
It's just not quite the same
Without you
I go through the motions
Without you
It's just not quite the same
Without you
I don't wanna go out
I just wanted to say
That I'm sick of these fights
I'll let you be right
If it stops you from running away
So just give me this chance
To make the wrongs right
To say
Don't, don't, don't walk away
I promise
I won't let you down (you down)
If you take my hand tonight
I promise
We'll be just fine
This time
If you take my hand tonight
Take my hand
Take my hand (I promise)
Take my hand (I promise)
Take my hand
I promise
I won't let you down (you down)
If you take my hand tonight
I promise
We'll be just fine
This time
If you take my hand tonight
If you take my hand tonight
I won't let you down
So take my hand tonight

The History Of Tomorrow
I want to tell you the history of tomorrow
It’s the history of how our leaders fulfilled a promise of light
By dumping us in the dark with pits everywhere
I want to tell you the history of tomorrow
It’s the history of how our leaders fulfilled a promise of food
By asking us to chop several fire-woods to heat up a pot full of stones
I want to tell you the history of tomorrow
It’s the history of how our leaders fulfilled a promise of job creation
By making us slaves on our own soil
I want to tell you the history of tomorrow
It’s the history of how our leaders fulfilled a promise of education
By dumping us in dilapidated buildings without teachers
I want to tell you the history of tomorrow
It’s the history of how our leaders fulfilled a promise of accountability
By looting our treasury and asking us for yet another term in office
I want to tell you the history of tomorrow
It’s the history of how our leaders fulfilled a promise of safety
By leaving pot holes large enough to swallow countless accident victims on our roads
I want to tell you the history of tomorrow
It’s the history of how our bows and arrows
Would secure our future
I want to tell you the history of tomorrow
It’s the history of a country, a country with countless heroes
It’s the history of a country, a country with countless robbers
Robbers with fame
Robbers without shame
Robbers that we would roast with flame

Tomorrow’s history is today. All world leaders must make real democracy work. They must be selfless. We must not wait until there is horror and terror before we learn. Nigerian leaders must shun CORRUPTION.

Alone tonight
''Alone Tonight''
I see your here alone tonight
would you mine coming home with me
you shouldn't be by yourself
take my hand and come with me
pretty lady let me walk you to the dance floor
and hold you close to me
I'll let you whisper in my ears
And I'll tell you what you want to here
You don't have to be alone tonight
you don't have to be alone tonight
I'll hold you in my arms and baby I promise everthing will be alright
I see you are having a good time your man is not on your mind
He trys to call you on the phone tell him, ''you don't need to be alone''
you don't need to be alone tonight
you don't need to be alone tonight
I'll hold in my arms and baby I promise everything will be alright
Your looking fine to me
can I get your number before you leave
because at the end of the night you are going to be free
you have to be alone tonight
you don't have to be alone tonight
I'll hold in my arms and baby I promise everything will be alright

History and Nature As One
one day
one hour
one minute
every passing of time holds a part of history
and this history holds a meaning for all
for the stars in the sky never cry
and the moon never weeps
and the rivers and oceans converge as one
like the grass and the trees, we coexist
we see nature as separate of history
but they are one like the birds and the sky
and this history tells of what happens
when those hearts that do break, just die
and even though the stars and moon share no tears
they may be sorrowful in the night
and I cry by this dying light

Stars Dont Know My Fate
Tonight I make history
and one day history will find me
and haunt me...even write me
in the pages of immortality
and will never be forgotten
as the wind.
Tonight I face history
and one day history will face me
and mock me...even write me
in the pages of uncertainties
but will never be forgotten
as the wind.
Tonight- I end my life...
I change my history, I make my destiny
for stars don't know my fate.
And one day, maybe one day
this night would be forgotten,
carried by the wind.

Something About You
Now
How can it be
That a love
Carved out of caring
Fashioned by fate
Could suffer so hard
From the games
Played once too often
But making mistakes
Is a part
Of lifes imperfections
Born of the years
Is it so wrong
To be human after all
Drawn into the stream
Of undefined illusion
Those diamond dreams
They cant disguise the truth
That there is something about you
Baby so right
I wouldnt be without you
Baby tonight
If ever our love
Was concealed
No one can say that
We didnt feel
A million things
And a perfect dream of life
Gone
Fragile but free
We remain
Tender together
If not so in love
And its not so wrong
Were only human after all
These changing years
They add to your confusion
Oh and you need to hear
The time that told the truth
You know theres something about you
Baby so right
I wouldnt be without you
Baby tonight
Because theres something about you
Baby so right
I couldnt live without you
Baby tonight
(counter melody)
Something about you
The way you are so right
I wouldnt be
Without you here tonight
Theres something about you
The way you are so right
I couldnt live
Without you here tonight

Choices And Changes
Changing the apparel
Changing the meal
Changing the domicile
Changing the soil
Oriental to occidental
Approval and dispersal
Dispersal and reversal
Like the Sun
From east to west to set
Rise again to reset..
In the sphere of desires
In the space of choices
Aligning and gliding
To reset a changing traditionality
Enamored yet of glittering stones
Sometimes the human

After Tonight
Staring up at the moonlight
Looking up at the stars
Im alone and I just want to be with you
But I dont know where you are
Maybe I took you for granted
So blind, I let your love slip away
Now Im missing you so much I cant stand it
Please believe me when I say,
After tonight, I never will be the same again
This time Im sure that nothing means more
Than giving you all the love I can
After tonight I promise, Im gonna be a better man
Just hold me tight, and Ill be all right
After tonight
Anticipating the moment
When I can make love with you again
Patience is a virtue Im finding
Very hard to understand
After tonight, I will never be the same again
This time Im sure that nothing means more
Than giving you all the love I can
After tonight I promise, Im gonna be a better man
Just hold me tight, and Ill be all right
After tonight

Mystery Of Love
Seasons are changing
Children of love are alive
People reach out to survive
Together
Love is the message
We carry across the sky
Down through the passage of
Time forever
History unfolds
As this storys told
(and its) the mystery of love
How we go on and on forever
(and its) the mystery of love
Coming to rescue
Rescue me
A man and a woman
Lost in each others embrace
Star-crossed in time in a place
Far away
Innocent dreamers
Turning the wheels of chance
Searching to find romance
Forever
We will surely find
Love is for all time
(and its) the mystery of love
How we go on and on forever
(and its) the mystery of love
Only one heart can turn the key
Down through the history
Of love
Time is the one that holds
The answer
(and its) the mystery of love
Oh, will it set me free
For all time
(and its) the mystery of love
How we go on and on forever
(and its) the mystery of love
Only one heart can turn the key
Down through the history
Of love
Time is the one that holds
The answer
(and its) the mystery of love
How we go on and on forever
(and its) the mystery of love
Only one heart can turn the key...

Never Satisfied
Where do we go from here
There must be something near
Changing you, changing me forever
Places changes, faces change
Life is so very strange
Changing time, changing rhyme together
Theres no where else to go
This could be our last show
Changing dreams, changing schemes never
We are never satisfied
Love is gone, along with fun
Now were reaching for the gun
Changing cast, changing fast, no more tether
We are never satisfied

Say A Little Prayer
Mr. moonlight...shinebright
Show me my mr. right
Lights, camera, action
I wanna be his sole distraction
Cupid draw your bow
Shoot it nice and slow
Send it straight to his heart
Love dont let him go
You must let him know
This is love from the start
(chorus):
Say a little prayer
Say a little prayer for me tonight
Say a little prayer
Say a little prayer for my hear tonight
Mama always told me
(sometimes)
What you get is not what you see
Im not taking any chances
No more broken romances
Cupid draw your bow fetch
(chorus x2)
I promise to always love and care for him
And I promise...to do my very best for him
I promise...to cherish him for all of my life
I promise...to always love and care for him
And I promise...Ill always be there for him
I promise...to love him for the rest of my life
(chorus out).

Sweat is sweet
Sweat is
A metabolic outcome
Of an exercise
In a bio system
Human sweat is salty
But it is really sweet
As once you sweat
You are going to gain
It indicates the effort
That goes on inside
More the sweat
Greater the effort
Sweat is not always
The water droplets
Seen on the surface of a body
It may be within
And it could be a emotional outburst
But ensure such emotions are
Positive, proactive and creative
Whatever it is
Sweat is synonymous with effort
Greater the effort
More the sweat
And sweeter the gain
Often we think of
Doing away with sweating
And you natrually are
Doing away with the effort
The gain of such an effort
Cannot be that sweet
We take pride in not having sweated
In achieving a gain
But such a gain is not
Really a gain
Sweat, but, enthusiastically
With love and affection
Towards the effort
With the understanding that
Sweating is no suffering
Let it be a voluntary struggle
With clear goal and destination
In mind
You will understand that
Sweat is sweet

Dont Say That You Love Me
Im gonna tell you right up front
So you will understand
I aint gonna waste your time
cause I might not be your man
We wont go makin promises
cause you know it just aint right
A promise is a promise, girl
And tonight is just tonight
Tonight is just tonight
Chorus:
Dont say that you love me
If it dont feel right
Dont say that you love me
Just hold me tonight
There aint no need for broken hearts
I know in time they mend
Any fool can fall in love
Its so easy to pretend
Dont tell me Im the only one
If it doesnt mean a thing
Lets take tonight for what its worth
And see what tomorrow brings
And see what tomorrow brings
Chorus (to fade)

Tonight We Rise
Pursuing fate that clever thief
A whisper shaking tree and leaf
To hear you in the moonlight speak
Put calloused hand on freckled cheek
Tonight we ride
Tonight we peak
Echoed will across a chasm
Sweetly led by your diapasm
Thundering through my mind and heart
To curtained ships as we depart
Tonight we fly
Tonight we start
The journey valued as the end
The path before us to ascend
With tandem steps do we begin
Your hand taking mine, skin on skin
Tonight we run
Tonight we win
What will and fate alone deny
Together built forever high
An effort made toward the prize
Defy your fears and dry your eyes
Tonight we fight
Tonight we rise
