Good art is art that allows you to enter it from a variety of angles and to emerge with a variety of views.

In things to be seen at once, much variety makes confusion, another vice of beauty. In things that are not seen at once, and have no respect one to another, great variety is commendable, provided this variety transgress not the rules of optics and geometry.

Whose design is this?
How, if food is without spice?
How, if life goes without spice?
Spice is variety.
Variety is option for change.
The left out one is cursed
And the one acquired is blessed.
The user is ever jubilant.

Homegrown Stuff
Simple.
Profound...
And to the point!
No detours or scenic views.
Directly applied,
Without sedation.
Or an offer of a variety,
Of freshly baked desserts.
Topped with icecream with a cherry.
The identity present...
Does not seek definition.
This is homegrown stuff.
And it is good.
Trust!

There is taste in variety, and variety in taste.
The Flowers In Your Garden
you are telling me that the flowers in your garden
must not be of one and the same kind
or else there will be so much boredom
you are telling me the need of variety:
roses and jasmines
and suntans and daisies, colors and scents all in multiplicity
as you talk your eyelashes curve a little lower than i expected
and your mouth twitches a little bit just to show your dislike
and contempt of the word:
boredom
unnecessary uniformity, that human need of variety
equated with a taste for something new
and even unusual
i completely agree with you.
Let me take you inside my heart
where my garden lies:
flowers of different colors and scents
i have grown them all inside my heart,
feelings of love and
desire, in a variety or sorts
in a diversification of breeds
and if by now you ask me and demand
that i may tell the truth
inside my heart, in my garden of love, you are a very beautiful flower
so sweet scented and well loved and cared by me
but there are other beautiful flowers growing in there,
you are not
just the one and only, as you would like to think
that to be
and i will tell you again,
I agree with you, there is a need really
for a variety,
the one that removes the word
boredom
from the beautiful garden of our vocabulary.

Age is definitely a factor because, at this age, you're very age-specific. As a younger kid, you can play a wider variety of ages. As a younger kid you can play a wider variety of ages, I guess, because the voice hasn't changed and there's a physicality that progresses as you get older.

Living Within Reduced Means
Variety may be the spice of life...
For those who can choose,
Whether or not...
To have beans and rice,
With a taste for steak.
Thawing to roast and bake,
In a pre-heated oven.
Some today see variety as a luxury.
And preparing rice and beans,
Has become a daily ritual.
Since fixed budgets,
Have arrived on their scenes.
Living within reduced means,
Is a reality for many that has demeaned.
And those still fortunate to have variety,
In their lives...
Stretch limited paychecks,
Realizing they have no idea...
What each day to them brings next.
Yet hopeful they are,
What is enjoyed today for them stays.
At least until that steak that thaws,
Is cooked.
And delivered in a presentation,
That is well done with vegetables...
Dripping deliciously and sautéed.
As seen in gourmet cookbooks.
And leftovers are as appreciated...
Without getting a dirty look.
From someone who believes...
An abundance of choices,
Will remain to feed their greed.
And prayers received are answered,
That returns them to an accustomed...
Feast of gluttony.
Without the fears of retribution,
That the stolen beef they eat...
Will not be taken from them by other thieves.

Sonnet: Variety in Life
If sweetened foods be taken on most days,
Until aversion takes the upper hand:
The buds of taste seek foods in hotter ways,
And sweetened stuff must be put to remand.
One cannot have the same things o’er again,
Man wants a change and variety in life;
We want the sun and in-between the rain;
We want our joys be followed by some strife.
When things are done in dull monotony,
Discontent fills the heart and mind of man;
No man can live with mere acrimony;
We shut the windows, sometimes switch on fan.
Variety is the spice of life all say,
And that is why God gave us night and day!

Unleash It From Its Cage
That variety of life that you are,
Unleash it from its cage.
Those expectations unsatisfied,
By restricting limits!
Why do people invite...
A lesser appetite of life.
The abundance that Mother Nature has shown,
To be known as a given.
Is under utilized.
Why do those prefer to hide...
Following with a focused-ness,
Fixed upon another's...
Footsteps,
That may or may not appear to glide.
From shadows come out,
To be whoever you are.
If you've decided to shine in light...
Why are you still in rehearsal?
Pacing back and forth as if...
You are afraid of the audience.
They have no clue,
As to which lines learned belong to you.
That variety of life that you are,
Unleash it from its cage.
Turn and read a new chapter.
Those you have already read...
Need not your current routine to relive them.

Sonnet Cakes
Sonnet Cakes
Catch a passing flock of words
Put them in a pan
To make a happy sonnet
For your favourite man.
Add a pinch of rhythm
A spoonful of rhyme
Pop them in the oven
Then wait some time
Check if they are burning
Consult with your muse
About variety in flavours,
In structure, different views.
Jolly sonnet cakes for tea
Some for you and some for me.

I Salute You Zaingair
Proud be you
You Zaingair
of thy unique name
of thy unique identity
Proud be you
You Zaingair
of thy waters
Sweet thy waters seem
but poisonous they are
Proud be you
you Zaingair
Of thy sheep
innocent they seem
but cunning they are
Proud be you
You Zaingair
Of thy variety of serpents
Meek they seem
But venomous they are
Proud be you
You Zaingair
Of thy singing birds
Depth in their songs seem
But shallow they are
Proud be you
You Zaingair
Of thy huge mountains
Consistent they seem
But vacillating they are
Proud be you
You Zaingair
Of thy monkeys
Social they seems
but aliens they are
I salute you
You Zaingair, i salute you
for the variety of beasts
You have begotten
And you do nurture

A sound of silence
A sound of silence
~
Silence that distant sound
Speaks volumes of variety
One mans peace another’s fear
Between the words unsaid
And those wanted to be spoken
The holding presence silence brings
A time of reflection is found
To rest upon a thought content
Or contend with a growing fear
A paranoid mind suffers silence
Broods its every moment
Where the calm is at peace
Embracing fully everything
Silence that distant sound
Speaks volumes of variety

Phoenix Lyrics
I
If nature is life, nature is death:
It is winter as it is spring:
Confusion is variety, variety
And confusion in everything
Make experience the true conclusion
Of all desire and opulence,
All satisfaction and poverty.
II
When a hundred years had passed nature seemed to man
a clock
Another century sank away and nature seemed a jungle
in a rock
And now that nature has become a ticking and hidden
bomb how we must mock
Newton, Democritus, the Deity
The heart's ingenuity and the mind's infinite
uncontrollable
insatiable curiosity.
III
Purple black cloud at sunset: it is late August
and the light begins to look cold, and as we look,
listen and look, we hear the first drums of autumn.

Variety Tonight
If ever you think you miss the thrill of the chase
Or just get tired of the same old face
I can be different honey, I can be new
Want someone else, I can be that too
Chorus: whoa-oh, gonna make you feel right, honey if you want it, variety tonight
Whoa-oh, gonna make you feel right, honey you got it, variety tonight
The faces of love have their smiles and frowns
And every romance has its ups and downs
There are cases when love has been less than sweet
Love without hate is a little like light without heat
Chorus
And the fire will fade if you forget it
cause love cant live unless you let it
Whoa, you gotta try just a little harder with the passin days
You got to find some new ways, ow!
(solo)
Chorus repeats out...
