The Dalai Lama was once asked for his favorite chant, and he said it was better not to have a favorite anything, which I think is a great thought.

My Favorite Girl
My favorite girl, oh, shes my favorite girl, dont you know,
My favorite girl, oh, shes my favorite girl.
You walked into my life, your love was so new,
And nothing will ever change my feelings for you,
Well, you were so far away, now I am close to you, girl,
So let us run away, our heart thats waiting will stay.
My favorite...
Theres so much I like in you I cant go on,
I wanted a girl like you Ive looked so long,
Girl, nothing will make us wrong, I know our love is too strong,
Lets leave the rest behind, our dreams ask what we will find.

Favorite Girl
Funny how things don’t seem to ever change
Now that I see you I’m transformed I am not the same
I know all the parts of you cause you’re my favorite girl
Because of everything you do you’re my favorite girl
Good things come and good things go
we only have today Tomorrow who knows
You’re my favorite you’re my favorite girl
I've tried so hard to move forward
But I keep on moving back
I’m stuck in some odd time warp
On an elusive track
Your a sacred pearl cause your my favorite girl
There’ no sanctuary in this world but your my favorite girl
People come and people go
we only have today Tomorrow who knows
You’re my favorite you’re my favorite girl
Its the same old story But damn if it don’t make you cry
Boy meets girl than loses her for no reason why
In my heart, nothing should matter except you’re my favorite girl
The whole universe could shatter you’d still be my favorite girl
People come and people go
We only have to day
Baby baby you stole the show
Baby baby you stole the show
Tomorrow who knows
You’re my favorite you’re my favorite girl

She's the only woman in the whole wide world (In the whole wide world)
Dedicating this one (Oh, I'm) to my favorite girl

Till you came and brought me peace of mind
I'll treasure every moment spent with you
Cause no one does the things for me you do, so I'm

My Favorite Time
My favorite time of morning
Is that time of morning when
I have a cup of warm coffee in my hands
And the sun barely peeks over the land
When the day is yet unwritten
When I am alone in the quiet
With thoughts of you
To keep me company
At my favorite time
My favorite time of the day
Is that time of day when
I hear your voice or see your words
And I know you are engaged in me
As I am engaged in you
As I am replete with thoughts of you
Warm thoughts of you
Across the miles
At my favorite time
My favorite time of the night
Is that time of night when
I close my eyes and dream of you
And my dreams are vivid, sweet and real
In them we are together
In them there is no yesterday or tomorrow
Only a never ending today
With you always
At my favorite time
So my favorite time really
Is that real time
I am privileged to think of you
And to know that no matter what
You are all I could ever want
You are all I will ever need
In a partner, friend and love
I know this now because with you I am always
In my favorite time

My Favorite Poem
My favorite poem
I'll write tomorrow
I'll put in every thought
without regrets or sorrow
It's the one I'll express
myself in complete
the one with details
but someone discreet
My favorite poem
will be my masterpiece
It will be presented to the world
in a song of peace
It's the one that'll describe
the essence of truth
the one I'll prescribe
to bring back our youth
My favorite poem
will be written tomorrow
I'll put in every thought
without regrets or sorrow.

Miserable Dreamer
My favorite dream…
Is the one that I have every night
Is the one that leaves me crying when I wake up
I dream…
Of your clear blue eyes
Of you
My favorite dream is the one that makes me miserable
My favorite dream…
Is one that always turns into a nightmare
Is one that reminds me that you left me
I dream…
Of your laugh
Of you
My favorite dream is one that makes my miserable
My favorite dream…
Is one that makes me relive every second I spent with you (good & bad)
Is one that makes me smile and cry at the same time
I dream…
Of your hugs
Of you
My favorite dream is one that makes me miserable
I don’t care if I’m miserable when I wake up…
At least I get to spend time with you…
If not just only in my dreams…

My favorite poets may not be your bread and butter. I have more favorite poems than favorite poets.
Favorite
Don't look sexy but it just feels right
Not too dirty and it's not too tight
Why I never threw it out, I'll never know exactly why
Keep it in the drawer beside my bed
It's faded pink now, but it used to be red
Starting to fray at the seams, but I know that you'll still love me
Like you did, like you did
Like before, like before
Like we will, like we will
Be doin' it once more
Oh baby know what your like?
You're like my favorite underwear
It just feels right, you know it
Oh baby know how you feel?
You feel like my favorite underwear
And I'm slipping you on again tonight
Leave you lyin' on the bedroom floor
I leave you hangin' on the bathroom door
Take you for granted, but I'll always know exactly where you are
Lost you once you were hard to find
Got you back you didn't live like mine
Thought we were falling apart but you make me feel so pretty
Like you did, like you did
Like before, like before
Like we will, like we will
Be doin' it once more
Oh baby know what your like?
You're like my favorite underwear
It just feels right, you know it
Oh baby know how you feel?
You feel like my favorite underwear
And I'm slipping you on again tonight
Slipping you on again tonight
Wrap me and roll me, hold me tight
Tear me apart and make me new
Like you always do
Oh baby know what your like?
You're like my favorite underwear
It just feels right, you know it
You feel you're like this is what I want
You feel, you feel
Oh baby know what your like?
You're like my favorite underwear
It just feels right, you know it
You feel you're like this is what I want
You feel, you feel
Slipping you on again tonight

White Chocolate Space Egg
Orange and blue, green and pink
I see you in everything
Dont need money, dont need wine
Ive got better ways to spend my time
Ill see you around
Every hollow has its favorite sound
And my heart is holding on
Purple, yellow, reddish-brown
Once I felt you, I couldnt lay you down
Dont be shy, baby, dont be careful with me
Let it go, let it soak me down
Ill see you around
Every hollow has its favorite sound
Every rock and tree and leaf abound with your face
Dont tell me Ive been wrong
Dont tell me all the magics gone
Ill see you around
Every hollow has its favorite sound
Ill see you around
Every corner has its favorite clown
Ill see you around...
Ill see you
Ill see you

Doing That Scrapyard Thing
By jack bruce and pete brown
When I was young they gave me a mongrel piano,
Spent all my time inventing the cup of tea.
Writing your name in the sea,
Banging my favorite head.
Missing the last bed, waving the cheery herring,
Balancing brass bands on the tip of my toe.
Phoning your home from a tree,
Drinking my favorite loch.
When I was old they gave me a model factory,
I met three salads out on the motorway.
Leaving your name at the door,
Breaking my favorite egg.
Missing the walrus, sharing my last banana,
Balancing zeppelins on the end of my nose.
Calling your name in the zoo,
Blowing my favorite mind.

The first time I met you
I knew that I was gonna fall
You took me you shook me
You put me higher on the wall
But I love it youre my favorite
Wont change it for anything at all
I cant do I wont do wont undo
Anything at all bout you
Your walk and your look and
Your smile and little things you do
Promises of kisses you wish is
Never to be blue
Oh I love it youre my favorite
It dont get better than with you
I cant be dont wanna be
I cant see anybody else but you
There are no attractions
That compare with you
Great satisfaction
Of being near you
Aint anything at all
Aint anything at all
Aint anything at all like you
No theres nothing there at all
Nothing there at all
Nothing there at all like you
Yeah the little things you do
Yeah everybody crazy crazy bout you
Thee cant be there wont be
How could there be anybody like you
I love it youre my favorite
And I wont let anybody in but you
Dont need no will power
To be true to you
Theres no one can think of
Could place above you
Not anyone at all
Not anyone at all
Not anyone at all but you
No not anyone at all
Not anyone at all
Not anyone at all like you
I love it youre my favorite
And it dont get better than with you
